And as the inevitable companion to Patriot Act 2.0, there will be war overseas, with the return in full force, unencumbered, of what former CIA analyst Ray McGovern memorably christened the MICIMATT (Military-Industrial-Congressional-Intelligence-Media-Academia-Think Tank) complex.
And when MICIMATT starts the next war, every single protest will be branded as domestic terrorism.

Call me a pessimist, but I think the past definitively proves that they would. But he is neither.
He is great at bullying Venezuela and stuff like that.
But now that even his own party has abandoned him, he is trying to get out with as little personal damage as possible.
If he had any intentions of mounting any actual fight, we would have seen something long ago.
Like declassifying everything about 911 or JFK or even Russiagate.
Or disbanding the CIA and making the files public.

Trump is not very intelligent. But he is smart enough to know that the military will not back him on “martial law.” The military know where their bread is buttered, and it is not by Donald Trump. Thus, if he pulls the lever, nothing will happen. And that means that his opponents will have real, serious sedition charges to level against him – and not just the nonsense that they have to date.
On the other hand. Trump has probably figured out that is going to be indicted for one thing or another. If his opponents can’t find something to indict him on, they will make it up – just like with Russiagate. There is no way for him to avoid it. He is going to be indicted and he is going to be tried – one way or another. Trump might very well panic realizing he is cornered and act out of pure desperation.
But that is not the smart thing to do. The smart thing to do is to do nothing and hope with a good legal team he can beat the bogus charges that they will come after him on.
And, with a good legal team, use any kind of trial to bring forward damaging or even explosive info.

Best summation of recent events I’ve read yet, Pepe. I fear the time of reasonably free expression on the internet – including blogs like this one – is rapidly coming to a close. In fact, I’m surprised they’ve haven’t closed this one down yet. But I wouldn’t relax either way. I’m sure the NSA views sites like this as potential honeypots for potential “terrorist” suspects. Talk of insurrection – even in jest or just in passing – could well lead to a knock at one’s door – or much worse!
I’m less worried about continued foreign wars at this point (which were going to continue in any case) than I am about the internal domestic war that’s just now gaining steam. Dangerous times ahead for all!

Trump’s ’16 campaign speeches about making nice with Russia and then, after he was elected, his shaking hands with Mr. Putin in Helsinki and saying that he believed Putin when he said that Russia had not interfered in the US election, even though US intelligence agencies agreed (that’s what they said in public, anyway) that Russia HAD interfered, caused the US Elite and their MSM slaves to accuse Trump of being a traitor, Putin’s puppet, etc. You remember. Just exactly WHY did they do that when they absolutely KNEW that Trump was right, and the recently-revealed House Intelligence Committee transcripts now prove that Trump and Putin were right? WHY?!
Not only that, but a short time ago, Pelosi and other Ds and Rs demanded that Trump get with their program and believe that Putin had put a bounty on US soldiers in Afghanistan and to do something to punish Russia. Then we had/have the Navalny poisoning.
All of it is just plain absurd. But just exactly WHY do they do this when they absolutely know that what they are saying is not true and that what Trump is saying is true?
There is one, and only one, explanation that “fits” absolutely everything — as Kennan said, the US economy requires enemies that justify the annual (forever) war budget that, directly or indirectly, employs tens of millions of US voters and provides fabulous profit to investors in US war corporations.
What is also important to understand is how all of these politicians like Schiff, Clapper, Comey, etc. and the MSM “legally” get away with all of their lies. They get away with them because of legislation that was passed a few years ago that allowed the US government to legally propagandize (lie to) American citizens within the US and, not only that, literally pay the MSM to also do it. With the above relatively new legislation in mind, it is easy to understand why and how high-level politicians in America get away with (stay out of jail for) lying to Americans 24/7. Essentially, as long as the liars tell the truth while under oath in secret testimony before a judge, they can say whatever they want in front of TV cameras. And boy, do they do just that. What other possible reason could there have been to amend that 1948 act?
Once again with even more feeling, the purpose of this VIP+MSM propaganda is to maintain in the minds of US citizens the belief that the US has existential threats to its national security in the form of Russia, China, Iran and, believe it or don’t, Venezuela and Nicaragua! (Again, this is all done to maintain the war budget and its millions of jobs.) This act must be rescinded. If it isn’t, all is lost.
What the wise elderly and not-so-wise younger US Elite oligarchs apparently want is for the US to “go out” with a great big bang while it is still “on top”. They would prefer that they and everyone else in America and the world be dead than for them to play second fiddle to the Elite of China or Russia or any other nation or group of nations. In the words of 1960s, “great silent majority” Americans, “better dead than Red”. The Fed will continue to do print a literally infinite number of printed-out-of-thin-air USD to fund the military-industrial complex, which is the one and only thing supporting the “drone-standard” USD and forcing other nations to accept them as payment for their REAL goods. The reality is that the Terminator US is an existential threat to Russia and China, not the other way around and that it is politically incapable of stopping itself. The tens of millions of voters either directly or indirectly employed by the MIC will NEVER vote into office candidates who will destroy their jobs.

The US is in a very difficult position, the country needs the jobs the MIC creates right now, but to do that they need to create threats to to generate reasons for the existence of the MIC. To shift the MIC jobs away to create infrastructure development jobs will damage their tax base. I think Trump fundamentally understood that to break the cycle and develop the future, he had to shift production jobs back home, but was unable to sell the idea due to the resistance from the MIC and the financial dependency of the US on the MIC-threat-budget-MIC cycle. The fact that most US politicians depend on this cycle for their retirement plans essentially delivered the concept of civilian development as a stillborn.
I once wrote a treatise in University on the concept that the Roman Empire collapsed as much due to a closing of their borders and a mindset that turned increasingly inward to hedonism and corruption as it did any technical reason. I think the US is there now.

And days later they were shown irrefutable proof that their landslide which delivered Senators and Congressmen and State legislators and governors all over America, but in six counties in six swing states this landslide was manipulated with phony ballots, fraudulent ballots, hacked tally machines that stole millions of votes from Trump and gave thousands of votes to Biden, enough in each of these crucial counties to win the electoral votes of the states. They even have videotape of the ballot stuffing in Georgia. But they have mathematically scientific proof of the election fraud. Unchallenged proof because it is mathematically scientific.
All the hacking proof and mathematical proof is backed by ex-government cyberwarriors who swear under oath and put their long careers on the line. So, MAGA voters believe this overwhelming fraud and theft occurred.
They were denied recourse in the courts of those states and in the legislatures of those states. They were denied, lawyers were denied, Finally 20 states went to the Supreme Court. Denied. No one, no state has standing in this matter. The doors of justice were slammed in the face of the voters.
What Trump did was what every one of those voters would do. He said I’ll never concede because I won a landslide. I’ll fight it until there is no other path. Then I’ll run in 2024.
Meanwhile, alt-right groups and people who numbered a few hundred were determined to be heard. Some lost their sense. The woman killed was a veteran of the Iraq war. Served 14 years. She lost her head and then her life. There’s a Special Forces guy who went into the Capitol Building. He is under investigation. He lost his head. Perfectly sane people, ordinary citizens wanted to be heard. Wanted Justice. Wanted a fair investigation of the election fraud. Everyone needs to read the history of the coming of the Third Reich. In 1932 Germany was a Democracy. In 1939, before the start of WW2, Germany was a dictatorship under Hitler. The process from a democracy to dictatorship was achieved in baby steps. There was a slow eroding of democratic principles over the years that ultimately led to the Hitler dictatorship. What we are seeing in the US is a slow and steady erosion of democracy into totalitarianism similar to Germany in the 1930’s. How many Americans will accept the loss of their nation as as did a majority of Germans?
Professor Richard Wolfe makes the same point. Germany at that point (as is the US now) embraced socialism of which there were two types (National socialism or communist socialism often then called community socialism) both promised to redress the inbalance in society. Both groups needed to use the word ‘socialism’ if they were to appeal. The same inbalance as exists in the US now. Unhappily the national socialists won and Hitler won power. The difference being that ‘national’ was still the elite and ‘community’ was the workers.
Understand that both promised socialism. It seems the only ‘socialist’ in the US is Burnie Sanders and he is well beyond leadership.
I believe the Chinese are on a path where they have developed as system that employs a mix of private enterprise and socialism. Regarding the necessity for Trump facing accountability, on Tuesday, Mitch McConnell let it be known that he was delighted that the Dems introduced an Impeachment Article in the House. Then later, he hinted that he was not discarding voting for impeachment himself when the Article would be submitted for trial in the Senate.
The following day, Wednesday, two startling things occurred: Trump made a video message
promoting peace, condemning violence and the calamity at the Capitol vowing that the mob he previously expressed love for, would be brought to justice, ( thus throwing them under the bus) and that he had called up thousands of National Guard to ensure the peace and with a subdued tone called on his supporters to be peaceful these days and to respect law enforcement and calling for…unity?. Wow! A performance worthy of the Nobel Prize replica; performance being the operative word.
Then later on Wednesday, Mitch McConnell stated that he wouldn’t bring the Senate back for Impeachment before the Inauguration and that the new Majority Leader would have to take up the Impeachment.
It appears McConnell did a 180 after Trump heeled to McConnell’s threat to impeach him and convict with consequences.
Not so fast! I say impeach and convict Trump in the Senate despite McConnell’s mind games and Trump’s Gandhi Oscar performance.

Lyn Schwarzer’s article, dated Jan11 2021, seems to have caught up with what Ramin Mazaheri has been saying here for years, re the stagnation of the Capitalist West compared to Socialist Iran. Likewise the Saker website long ago began to alert viewers to the fact that Western powers “are facing a demographic shift” — power is shifting toward the East of EurAsia, via a de-facto alliance of Atheist Communist China, Islamic Communist Iran and former Communist Russia. Power is shifting through Win-Win Trade (backed up by powerful defense via local patriotism) rather than I-Win-You-Lose War (backed up by worldwide aggression via mercenary armies).
If the President won’t, or is unable to, use all the tools at his disposal to claim his rightful re-election, then it would be a mistake for Flynn to spearhead a military coup. Rather, he should take a page from Pelosi’s play book and keep Biden/Harris montrosity neutered for four years until the new party can take control of both houses and the presidency. He can do this by always having the option of military action available if Biden gets out of hand, but never quite having to use it.
Any prospective counter-coup would need to be “all in” for the participants, as the penalty for failing will almost certainly be death. But at this point, I wouldn’t even trust any such event to be anything other than another false-flag psyop. Not impressed by the “well armed Americans” argument either. They’d invariably just end up shooting each other and innocent bystanders. The Borg will simply turn off the banks, the payment systems, and the food deliveries, likely combined with another release of a more lethal variant of the virus. Game, set, match; insurrection over in less than a week. The remaining fire fights and destruction would simply be deemed as inconsequential and allowed to play out locally. Wanna destroy each other? Fine, saves us the trouble of doing it. Leave the bodies in the street as a warning for the others. Armed forces will do what they’re told, just as they always do. Recalcitrants will be shot. In the end, targets are just targets, no matter who they are. Anything else is just Hollywood myth. People will be shocked – right before they’re dead – at the level of brutality their fellow man is capable of.

Exactly. It was another thing entirely in previous centuries when their proud Anglo ancestors could wipe out the Native peoples and squatting the land. Now, the resulting infatuation with private firearms in the presentday context of a dying and decomposing West will see to it that the US majority population ends up in a total asylum masquerading as a country, to paraphrase a reactionary misconception of Russia.
They will go after the deplorables until they cant, and then some deplorable looking genius will take them to the cleaners and not a mention of congressional humility will be made in public about the whole affair.

As the indictments start rolling down for you, he’ll skate off to Israel to avoid prison leaving you to take the blame.
