First, in Hungary, Viktor Orban won a supermajority in the latest elections. This makes perfect sense, as Orban’s policies have guaranteed that Hungary will get her energy at a low and stable price for the next 15 years (if I remember correctly) while the Eurolemmings will get their at astronomic prices on the spot markets which they themselves chose over long term contracts. The same goes for food items, fertilizer, etc.
I want to congratulate the Hungarian people not only on being the smartest in Europe, but for showing and proving that even a nation which is part of the EU and NATO can defend its own national interests.
Now about the Bucha fake, I won’t repeat it all here, I rather simply refer you to these:
I also would like to use this opportunity to point you to the YouTube channel of Patrick Lancaster: https://www.youtube.com/c/PatrickLancasterNewsToday
Unlike Gonzalo Lira who is in Kharkov, Lancaster reports from Mariupol. They have very different styles, but they both deserve the recognition for the crucial work they are doing.
I also noticed that the Chinese channel CGTN has very good correspondent in the Ukraine, although I have heard him only on the Russian-language CGTN chanel. Here is the main one, FYI: https://www.youtube.com/c/cgtn.
Finally, it appears that the USA is trying to color-revolutionize Imran Khan in Pakistan and that this might even involve a plot to kill that man. Makes me wonder – did the CIA really learn nothing from Belarus or Kazakhstan???
In Russia the mass exodus of pro-western 5th columnists is continuing, which is a real cause for celebration. The sad part is that the official spokesman for the Kremlin, Peskov, seems to think that these folks are not traitors. Considering how the Atlantic Integrationists in the Presidential Administration and the Russian Government have totally mismanaged PR war, and then sent a pitiful figure like Medinsky to talk, which resulted in a real panic in Russia as most Russians are much more afraid to have diplomats negate all the efforts of the military. Frankly, sending Ramzan Kadyrov to negotiate would have been a much better move.
If the first phase of the war has shown that the Russians could achieve amazing results against a major force with a smaller force and the focus on maneuver, it has, alas, also shown that Russian PYSOPs and Civil Affairs capabilities are minimal and mostly ineffective. Now, wars can be won with little or not efforts allocated to PYSOPs and Civil Affairs, but such wars are much more costly not only in time and money, but also in human lives. Negotiations, PSYOPs, Civil Affairs and military operations have to work together, towards a common goal – then they act as a force multiplier. But when civilians do their own thing and the military their own, this needlessly complicates military operations and make wars much harder to end.
In all fairness to the Russians, they never had the kind of propaganda resources the Empire of Lies has. In fact, since US forces are typically of poor military value, the US has developed very sophisticated capabilities which they now bring to bear with great efficiency. So Russia faces two very different enemies:
- The Ukrainian soldiers who are just the cannon fodder for Uncle Shmuel
- The formidable propaganda machine of the Empire of Lies
The only good news here is that INSIDE Russia the Empire of Lies has totally failed, Putin’s personal popularity is now well above 80% and the popular disgust with the Russian fake “intelligentsia” (the self-applied label of “creative class” the Russian 5th columnist always claim for themselves) is real. So more and more of them are resigning, moving abroad, or openly caving into the immense pressure of the Empire to condemn their own President and country.
Lastly, remember how for YEARS I wrote that a Russian invasion of the Ukraine would be a dream come true for the Neocons?
Now that this has happened, do you see what I was referring to? We can now say that thanks to this war, the Empire of Lies can now officially “cancel Russia” – their 1000 year old dream.
That being said, I think that the West also overplayed its hand. Yes, they managed to make hatred for Russia and Russians a new type of woke virtue signalling, but they went so far overboard that they got the undivided attention of the Russian people who now see the true face and intentions of the Empire of Lies. And now that most Russians have understood that:
- Russia and the Empire of Lies are in an existential war which only one side can walk away from and
- The Empire of Lies wants to genocide the Russian nation (by a combo of means), this is a fight for survival, and for the right to live in a sovereign country
At this point in time, Ze has indicated that he will make no concessions, etc. etc. etc. so the negotiations are going nowhere. Good. I think that the Russians need to get rid of the Ukrainian force inside the Donbass cauldron first, and then offer negotiations again. But until that battle is over, I don’t see the point of talk unless these are talks about the surrender of this force.
I think “Empire of Greed” is closer to the mark.
Lies and hatemongering are just tools.
And the hubris doesn’t kick in until the second-generation inbreeds.
Analyst Юрий Подоляка seems to believe that the Ukrainian army is not trying to escape the Donbass cauldron, because it believes that it can defeat or at least fight the Russians to a draw there, by using a counter attack from the west to break the Russian lines.
And the russians are exactly waiting for the counterattack. I was thinking about why they leaved Kiev, practically nullifying their gains there. It becomes clear considering the fact that the ukrops are fighting a terrorist war, embedding inside civilian areas, using civilians as human shields.
The only way to change this situation is to force them to come out of the urban areas. Sending reinforcements to the Donbass means they would be forced to travel through countryside, where they cannot hide anywhere and would be under russian fire ( let’s remember that the russians control the skies ).
Re: Bucha: The report on the BBC 2 nights ago clinched it for me. A BBC-guy asked a photo-journalist to comment on IMAGES of the alleged atrocities in Bucha. The guy said about 2 sentences in English, very articulately: The bodies had been cleaned up (which had to be an assumption on his part), because he only SAW ONE corpse in a crushed vehicle.
In other words, he would not comment on possibly fabricated images. He gave his own experience—he saw one corpse. After that, he blubbered utterly incoherently, as though he had zero command of the English language, for I’m guessing about 3 minutes. (I kept trying to figure out what he was saying and, for the life of me, I could not.) During that time, the BBC-guy, under his breath, was trying to tell the guy what to say.
When it was finally over, all I could do was laugh.
So, Orban won elections, congrats, etc…
“I want to congratulate the Hungarian people not only on being the smartest in Europe…, ”
But hey, Serbia also had elections on the same day! And Vucic won in Serbia almost in as superb way as Orban did in Hyngary. They congratulated each other, as Serbia and Hungaria are perhaps highest level of mutual relationships ever. In his first speach after elections Vucic even mentioned possibility to form assembly majority along with local Hungarian party.
So why congratulate only Orban and not Vucic? Oh, I forgot, for Saker – Vucic is a traitor, unlike Orban.
And second, I would like to emphasize Hungarian status of being smartest in Europe.
Can you fly to Moscow or St.Petersburg from Hungary or any other europian country beside Serbia\Belgrade? I suppose Serbia should sanction Russia and block air transport to be equal smart as Hungary.
By the way, Belgrade is full of Russians and Ukrainians these days. Daily rate of registering companies owned by Russian citizens in Belgrade is 9 to 15.
Just imagine how would it be if Vucic was not a traitor!
PS. Apologize to our Hungarian frends, I did not intend to say anything to undermine their courage and strenght, which I personaly admire, especially as being NATO and EU member – it is twice as important what thay do comparing to Serbia. Just wanted to show Saker’s hipocrisy related to one tiny matter – Serbian president.
Without uncomprising truth there will be no victory not peace. Every player upholding the lies of the last great war will get absolutely wrecked in this one. As of now I do not see either side able to be victorious.
Reminded of the news cycle precisely one month ago, 3/5/2022, when Russia was being universally media stormed with allegations of preparing a nuclear false flag at Zaporizhzhia NPP, the largest nuclear plant in Europe. The media accused Russia of preparing a false flag, with a plan to make a second Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe, with the supposed goal to discredit the Ukrainian military in the eyes of the world, all since Russia was losing the battle so badly and had no other choice but to cause a humanitarian disaster. The same cartoon plot continues with the basic narratives of desperation, vindictiveness, and slavishness. Why is it so hard to turn this TV set off? —how does fantasy-delusion seem so strong, and much more real than reality itself?
Russia has lost the media war only if you expected that winning would look like the NYT or BBC reporting all day long that the Russian army is winning decisively, Russia is not going into the cities to avoid civilian casualties and so on.
But this is impossible to achieve because Western media is serving exclusively the Western side in this proxy war, naturally. It is not possible that they will put out any propaganda of any kind that supports the Russian war effort.
On the other hand, the fact that Western media coverage has totally gone into phantasy land is a huge win precisely because people aren’t as dumb as they would like them to be.
You can’t put out article after article with completely bogus information and expect people to trust the narrative.
They wont, which is proven by the fact that they are censoring comment sections everywhere and outlawing in many countries any supportive statement towards the Russian side of the conflict.
They wouldn’t need to do this kind of thing if people were in support of their foreign policy, they’d naturally all support the so called heroic resistance of Ukraine.
So don’t be discouraged when reading through comment sections in Western media, know that they have deleted half of the comments or more to get to something that looks like huge support for the Ukraine.
To prove it, create an account and write something supportive of the Russian army. Your account will get banned in a few hours.
It is all fakery in the West, it is an Empire of Lies as Putin has said a few weeks ago.
It turns out that the website of the National Police of Ukraine announced the cleansing of Bucha from “collaborators” on April 2. And a day later we were shown heaps of corpses.
Apr 5 at 08:29
It is what I fear has happened, I read that some of the dead had white armbands (=Russian soldiers and supporters), the implication being that the murdered people were those whom the Ukrainian extremists view as traitors. Selensky even said that they will punish all traitors a few times.
Terrible, I hope that these people were just actors and that they didn’t pass of their mass killing of civilians as a Russian war crime.
If they did actually kill civilians Russia must punish these people without mercy.
“I think that the Russians need to get rid of the Ukrainian force inside the Donbass cauldron first, and then offer negotiations again.”
Could not agree more.
The problem for Russia is what happens after Donbas and still no surrender? What do you do then? Move on Odessa? It is another fortress city. To take it means its destruction just like Mariupol. I don’t want to see that happen.
I guess at some point Russia will have to declare that combat operations over. After Donbas, if they truly want to split Ukraine along the Dnieper, then there will be much more work to be done. Also, what do you do with Kiev? Is there a Phase 3 to come if no surrender and what will that involve?
Russia is playing a long game here, linking its activities in Ukraine with the creation of a new European security regime and new global economic regime. But there are dramatic moves it could make that would easily create a crises and cause Kiev to crumble if that was what it wished to do. For example:
Sending Russian troops westerward and/or massing troops in Belarus. That would create another refugee crisis in Poland, this time unmanageable. Poland would shut its borders and probably create – with NATO assistance – a refugee space in western Ukraine. Russia would keep coming. It would create a stampede. That would create an entirely new dynamic between Kiev and the West.
Using electromagnetic pulse weapons in Kiev. This would immediatelly destroy the entire electronic infrastructure in Kiev and create unsustainable living conditions. It would likewise create another refugee crisis.
Begin bombing the Ukrainian portion of the Yamal-Europe pipeline. There have been no east-to-west gasflows since April 2, while the Germans have been allowing backflows to Poland since then. Aside from the psychological message it would send to all parties it would force the Germans to cease using the pipeline. Again, I would expect
Destroy the dam at the Kiev reservoir. This would flood the left bank of Kiev and cause another refugee crisis.
There are dozens of other tactics Russia could employ to create dramatic shifts in the ground situation. but it does not wish to do that. It is important to distinguish one’s own emotional impatience with the strategic necessities of the Russian plan.
The big question being : can Russia actually get rid of the Donbass forces ? I must say that after a month of fighting, I’m not so sure. So either we see a much better version of the Russian army turn up, or either Russian forces are spent and do not have enough motivation to break through the entrechments of the Ukies.
If we take the usual ratios which I saw somewhere as being official US army doctrine, you would need a ratio of 3:1 or even 4:1 to break through against an heavily fortified opponent. This means Russia should bring something like 200k soldiers ready for battle, with overwhelming air power and the logistics to punch through 100km of open terrain.
I’m not really convinced they can do that. I’m also skeptical of the “fire control” theory of Andrei. It’s been a week we’re talking about the famous Donbass offensive but on the ground nothing significant happens.
I’m not excluding some kind of judo move or a brilliant feint, like Russia attacking at a really unexpected place. I’m even pinning my hopes on it. But today I’m completely in the dark as to what Russia’s intentions are, and if they really do have the military means to achieve them.
So, to clarify what Russia did here. Using Maneuvering Warfare, what I would term Positional Warfare, they performed a preemptive strike that pinned large segments of Ukrainian forces in areas where they were not needed. Russia and LDNR forces pinned the largest and most competent portion of Ukrainian forces into a cauldron by a frontal probe in force. Russia/ LDNR then proceeded to trap the most rabid Nazis into a complete enforcement in Mariupal where they have been eliminated. All the while this was happening the Ukrainian forces have lost air supremacy, lost their mercenaries, lost their fuel, airfields, bulk of air defense, and navy.
Do you understand that without adequate fuel supply, those troops in Kiev and Kharkov are still pinned without a screening force needed? The troops in Odessa are pinned by the Russian navy? Russia has full operational freedom to do as they please and those troops shelling the Donbass are getting ground down and running out of ammo.
I’ve noticed your posts here before along a very similar line and no matter how many times you get a rebuttal it’s back the same bovine excrement. I will admit I believe your moniker choice to be quite appropriate.
Saker, I have a question about these evil Ukrainian politicians… what is Russia’s goal here as I was expecting many of them to be arrested (although I would prefer they ne hung) by now.
I would imagine that catching them alive and taking them to a war crimes tribunal would serve Russia’s purpose in order to indemnify Russia of any illegality in this special operation.
The Bucha incident is the kind of thing you would expect if you were fighting Hitler’s grandchildren that have been supercharged with modern regime change tools. The withdrawal from Kiev presented a perfect opportunity for a false flag.
Does Russia really understand their enemy’s resolve to destroy them at all costs?
The longer the conflict drags on the greater the chances are of more Buchas and the further poisoning of the minds of the global public, aided by the fog of war.
Granted that Russia can’t control the global narrative…then they should control the facts on the ground as swiftly and decisively as possible.
>Does Russia really understand their enemy’s resolve to destroy them at all costs?
I doubt. They do not understand that yet.
Demolition of the EU by the US : a few years back (2018), as we passed the general peak oil (conventional + non-conventional oil production), I thought that, in order to maintain their American Way of Life (requiring an affordable oil price for another decade), the US would soon need to destroy the economy of one of the two competing oil consumption zones : EU or China.
2019 : Covid-19 in Wuhan (best place) just before the Chinese New Year mass migration (best time), with quite a lethal variant for Hans. Did not work. China was able to control the epidemic and maintain its economy.
2022 (end of epidemic, let’s try something else) : Ukro-nazis with bioweapons and wanting nukes, Russian intervention. Sanctions : the EUnuchs (thanks Giuseppe for the word) decide to destroy their own economy, heavily dependent on Russian oil/gas.
Can’t destroy the Chinese consumption? Destroy the EU consumption instead, and cull the herd (see Deagel 2025 and the figures for Europe…). But why would the EUnuchs comply with the US instructions and commit such an obvious seppuku? The rotten banks. The Deutsche Bank’s derivatives alone is the GDP of the planet. Switch off Visa/Mastercard (servers in the US) and the Europeans can’t buy food. Food riots within a few days. Empty shelves. We are living in interesting times, the end of 150 years of very cheap energy…
The best generals and politicians have always known: First you conquer your enemy, THEN you dictate peace terms to them. One only considers a truce or ending of hostilities during an active war if your side is losing.
Have a look at the following sitrep in French. I can’t tell how factual, complete or biased the sitrep is, but Russia looks like in an unstable position currently.
24/7 propaganda seeps in to even those who KNOW they are being lied to. Even the Saker.
But then I stepped back and remembered one thing: Ukraine has not been able to conquer Donetsk and Luhansk in EIGHT YEARS.
Do I need to explain the implications of that statement?
For those who don’t immediately grasp it. What was the quality and composition of the Donbass military and their equipment across those eight years Compare to the Russian military.
Hiding behind civilians is not bravery. Killing and capturing Russian soldiers who are clearly going to extreme lengths to minimize civilian casualties is not victory.
You’re lied to 24/7. You know it. Yet still the propaganda works even on you. When you start to believe the lies, step back, put it all in perspective, and remember: Ukraine has not been able to conquer Donetsk and Luhansk in EIGHT YEARS.
laughable analysis. Completely wrong and premised on a debunked propagandist’s statistics. “Oryx” whom the entire Ukrainian side now turns to as the chief ‘authority’ on Russian losses has been debunked numerous times. Anywhere from 50-90% of the losses he lists are fake and are actually misinterpreted Ukrainian losses. You can follow this account to see many posts debunking Oryx’s fake propaganda https://twitter.com/ArmchairW/status/1510054419299065859
Go through his past tweet chains and you’ll see him analyze all the “losses” presented by “Oryx” and verify that most of them are fake or inconclusive. And this guy is a military veteran and expert unlike Oryx.
See of you can find out more about this, please:
Russians With Attitude
The Russian MOD claims that two helicopters have been shot down near Mariupol, it is suspected that they were supposed to evacuate Azov leadership (same already happened earlier). Considering how little Kiev cares for Azov, I’m not sure it’s *them* the choppers wanted to evacuate
Colonel GOYA is good speaking some military gibberish but on tactical level, he is……….nuts
Mariupol Zoo Under Fire: Russia – Ukraine War
(Had no idea there was a zoo in Mariupol. A lot of animals were killed. This guy has excellent coverage.)
I have read from ukrainan souces that russian army is planning to leave kherson. Is it true?
It would be a big letdown.
Ukrainian sources? And you actually believe them? Really?
Russia should absolutely not offer negotiations again. They go nowhere and do nobody any good. This can only end now in the end of the Ukranazi coup regime and the partition of Ukraine. There is no point of negotiating that.
That day, the washing of the streets day, after humiliated scum that lived through war comes parading in front if Donetsk people is FAST APROACHING!
I live for that day!
Information warfare can only take you so far. In World War 2, Germany had the most brilliant information warfare machine, yet the Russian Army still ended up getting to Berlin. And so will Russia, shape the future of European security once the Ukrainian operation is over.
The reason that the West’s information war is so spectacular is that the West is the primary beneficiary of Nazi propaganda expertise. Goebbels and Riefenstahl would be giving the mainstream media a standing ovation for being geniuses of misinformation. Russia, on the other hand, is still under the illusion that truth matters.
It is no illusion. Truth does matter and will ultimately prevail.
It’s worth reading.
‘Gods of War’: How the US weaponized Ukraine against Russia
TJ COLES·APRIL 1, 2022
Since the US-engineered 2013-14 coup in Ukraine, American forces have taught Ukrainians, including neo-Nazi units, how to fight in urban and other civilian areas. Weaponizing Ukraine is part of Washington’s quest for what the Pentagon calls “full-spectrum dominance.”
All Russian media describes the election of A. Vucic in Serbia as a positive development for Russia. After all Vucic has not introduced any sanctions against Russia despite tremendous pressure from the West. He is the only European head of state who openly states that Russia is a friend. We should remember that Serbia is a landlocked country surrounded by NATO owing it to a great deal to the Russian policies toward Serbian people in the recent past. During the war in the Balkans Russia not only sanctioned Serbs but also approved every single anti-Serbian UN resolution. By not mentioning Serbian elections and choosing Hungarians, all of sudden, as supposedly great Russian friends is baseless beyond any reason. Hungarians are and will always bee staunchly pro-German, no less than the west-Ukrainian people are. On the other hand seemingly the great majority of the Serbs who voted for A. Vucic are not friends any more. The apparent selfishness and lack of gratitude speaks for itself, especially if shared among other Russians. It once again shows that Serbian people should carefully chose their friends and allies and always in their minds primarily have their own interests. The truth is that the Russian “brothers” were nowhere to be found when we needed them once in a thousand years in order to barely survive. This has never been the case with the small European nations who stick with Germans.
Don’t paint with such a broad brush, just bc the Saker personally dislikes Vucic it doesn’t mean all of Russia dislikes Vucic. He doesn’t speak for all Russians.
The fact that when Russia was in the reverse position it acted less honorably then the Serbs when given the opportunity I’m sure weighs heavily on him and he will say as much.

I have a certain inante feeling that Russia will come out of this “cancellation” stronger and more independant
than it was before…
“Lastly, remember how for YEARS I wrote that a Russian invasion of the Ukraine would be a dream come true for the Neocons?…Now that this has happened, do you see what I was referring to? We can now say that thanks to this war, the Empire of Lies can now officially “cancel Russia” – their 1000 year old dream.”
Yay, someone finally said it out loud. The US based Neo-Cons, ie. the likes of Robert Kagan (Nuland’s husband and mentor) and the whole PNAC Crew, are largely US born descendants of Ukrainian Ashkenazim, whose grand-parent’s generation emigrated to US. For these Neo-Cons, there are essentially two dominating foreign policy imperatives. Firstly, manipulating US resources to secure the future of Israel at all costs (the forever wars against “non-compliant” ME states, and the permanent trade war against Iran), and, secondly, manipulating US resources to avenge a centuries old ethic grudge against the medieval Rus fiefdom, and their Slavic descendants. After all, it was medieval Rus (plus some adventurist Finns) that cast the regional Black Sea Kingdom of Khazaria to the winds, and its Ashkenazim descendants simply cannot let this age old event go, it is one of the the most extreme of all historic grudges!
«The Empire of Lies wants to genocide the Russian nation»
That is the usual ridiculous exxxagggerated use of “genocide”, the Empire of Lies just want to split the Russian Federation into more docile smaller parts and to “normalize” russian culture into a more consumeristic direction, something that has already going on for a while. Same as has happened to plenty of other places.
But the Empire of Lies deals with resource rich countries like Russia a lot harder than resource poor ones like most of Europe, usually installing tyrants of various sorts (Somozas, Pahlavis, al-Sabahs, …) to keep down the populace while the resources are looted.
