It is clear that Washington has lost quickly the control of various “rebel” groups in Syria and Iraq, especially after a series of terrorist operations inside US and European soil that simulate a new type of non-linear war by the jihadists. As a result, it was forced to compromise with the Russian intervention in Syria, while silently accepted Iran and Hezbollah to clean up the mess in the Middle East.
you mean false flag operation in US and Europe?
He’s absolutely right about the reasons why ISIS was created. As I’ve said many times, the entire reason for the Syria crisis (aside from oil pipelines and the like) is to get a war started with Iran.
I posted this some time back here. It’s still true:
Actually the reason why Israel never attacked Iran (with the intent of dragging a compliant US into the war to do the real heavy lifting) is why the Syrian crisis exists.
Back in 2006 Israel was being pushed by Dick Cheney to attack Iran. He got Israel another $30 billion in foreign aid as a bribe to do so.
However, Israel’s strategists were aware that an attack on Iran could bring in Hizballah in Lebanon with their – at the time – 15,000 rockets and missiles. It could also conceivably bring in Syria with its missiles. While neither was certain, no strategist could ignore the possibility. The effect of both Hizballah and Syria coming into the war would be that Israel’s citizens would be
forced to live in bomb shelters for a good part of every day during the war. This would cause economic dislocations and possibly a bad outcome for the ruling party in the next elections.
So Israel in 2006 decided to take out Hizballah. As we all know, they failed miserably due to lack of commitment of ground troops and the extensive preparations Hizballah had made for such an attack. The reason for lack of ground troops was that Israel wanted a “cheap” war – exactly the same reason they attacked Hizballah – they wanted a “cheap” war with Iran.
Subsequently Hizballah, aided by Iran, built up its missile arsenal until it is now allegedly over 50,000 rockets and longer range missiles that allegedly can hit any part of Israel.
In addition, the 2007 Iran National Intelligence Estimate undercut Bush’s desire to attack Iran.
At the time, Colonel Pat Lang, a retired military expert on the Middle East, pointed out that the only way Israel could possibly successfully attack Hizballah would be through the Bekaa Valley, as this areas is Hizballah’s “defenses in depth.”
However, this would require Israeli forces crossing Syrian territory to make a flanking attack on the Bekaa Valley, rather than going through the heavily defended southern Lebanon. That would require Israeli forces to engage the Syrian military directly, probably resulting in a “two-front” war which is never a good idea, especially if you want a “cheap” military victory.
That’s where things stayed until the Libya crisis. At that point, someone in Israel and/or the US got the bright idea that if a civil war could be started in Syria, with the intent of dethroning Assad, then the US and NATO (and perhaps Israel and Turkey) could engage in an air campaign to destroy Syria’s missiles and degrade its military’s ability to engage Israel in an attack on Hizballah. This would allow Israel a fairly cheap corridor to attack Hizballah while simultaneously removing Syria as an effective actor in an Iran war.
And that’s why the Syria crisis exists. Unfortunately for the plan, Assad’s forces have been more effective than expected in keeping the West’s forces – Al Qaida and ISIS – at bay. In addition, attempts to justify a US/NATO attack on Syria have failed. First they had the insurgents fire at Turkey and Turkey firing back at Syria forces in order to provoke a Syria/Turkey war. That failed
because Assad did not take the bait. Then they tried the same trick with Israel which also failed. Then came the “chemical weapons” false flag – which brought Obama to within 24 hours of attacking Syria. That failed when Russia’s Putin convinced Assad to get rid of his chemical weapons. (Although the US has repeatedly complained about “chlorine barrel bombs” and the like continuously since then.)
The proof that the US wants to attack Syria is that in every one of three UN Resolution drafts promoted by the US there was Chapter 7 language which could be used to authorize such an attack. Each Resolution was vetoed by Russia and China who saw how the same language used in the Libya crisis could be used to justify a war with Syria.
The stalemate in Syria is why there has been no Iran war. The rise of ISIS has been an attempt to break that stalemate.
The story isn’t over despite the Iran deal. Should Syria fall to Al Qaeda and ISIS, you can count on Israel immediately attacking Lebanon again. And after that, the US administration – whoever it may be, Democrat or Republican – will green light an Israeli attack on Iran. And the US will join that war.
And then we will have another decade-long war in the Middle East which will consume Lebanon, Syria, Iran at a cost of millions dead, thousands of US troops dead, and a cost that will be at least four times the cost of the Iraq-Afghanistan war – profits for the military-industrial complex.
UPDATE: Russia’s intervention last fall was a result of Russia intelligence that the US intended to impose a “no-fly zone” in Syria. Russia’s intervention put paid to that attempt – temporarily. But now Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy adviser has said that her FIRST act in foreign policy will be to resurrect the no-fly zone idea.
We can only hope that the Pentagon sits this stupid bitch down and explains to her that Russia already HAS a no-fly zone capability in Syria with its S-300, S-400, BUK and Pantsir installations – and possibly even S-500, which if not already deployed in Syria certainly could be. All Putin has to do is turn those on and point them at US planes and those planes will drop from the skies – at least until the US can overwhelm the system with enough cruise missiles. Which of course means World War III…
But Clinton’s threat clearly shows the US military-industrial complex (and its allies in the oil companies, neocons, and Wall Street banks) still demands a decades long war with Iran in order to shore up its war profit, as does Israel for its geopolitical goals.
Nothing Has Changed. Only a continued alliance of Russia, China, Iran, Syria, and Hizballah can halt a major destabilizing regional Mid-East war which could become Armageddon.
Very good summary of the situation. But one thing I never understood is why these people want absolutely a war against Iran?Iran never had, does not have any nuclear weapons. Is it just to destroy another country and make more profits for the MIC?Or to steal their oil and gas??Religious purpose?
To create the great Israel(wich needs a bit of Iran according to their plans)?
They managed to get Roussef out in Brazil via a ‘white coup’…tonight on sputnik France a very strange article about the BRICS,I mean ..against the BRICS because it could be ‘bad’ and dangerous for the USD…are RT and Sputnik turning fifth column as well?
I do have more and more doubts about Putin and about the power in RF.
And if they were some kind of fake ennemy a kind of NWO 2(eastern area).
Today Serbian PM prostituing his country with Biden…what a shame.
Incredible how it is so easy to find traitors in any country. It is too easy for the Empire of chaos.
Serbian PM calls top advocate of Yugoslavia NATO bombing Biden a ‘friend of country’
The picture in the RT article: 2 X Tall, White, and Stupid.
.against the BRICS because it could be ‘bad’ and dangerous for the USD…are RT and Sputnik turning fifth column as well?
Something will likely break soon in world finance/banking; yes, it’s most over predicted thing since 2008, but just 2 days (nights) ago, China got accepted for yuan bonds in IMF.
And there’s a G-20 SEP4.
Then, OCT 1, new SDR valuation weighting starts, based on weightings of 5 currencies: $USD, euro, Yen, pound, renminbi. Guess which will be changing, & which direction?
Not by coincidence, in news about 1 week ago but unnoticed because of Owe-limp-hicks, news that those corruption/graft charges against Lagarde, IMF head, can proceed!
personally never liked RT & never use it or look at it—too many other very good sleuthy news sites out there, & they run at not 1% or even 0.1% of RT’s budget. Many struggling.
To me, RT stands for ‘read teleprompter’.
Sputnik is at least better than Pravda (truth), but that’s not saying much.
I, personally, watch, read and like RT very much. And I do read a lot of independent sources too. RT’s journalism is simply unrivalled. People who call this “teleprompter” either have an agenda or have not seen any RT documentaries, or never read any op-edge articles. Those could be never published in the mainstream western media.
In regards to Serbia, there is an excellent article by Joaquin Flores in Fort Russ: Serbia in the Crosshairs: Will the new government be the last?
Very clear, thank you.
And behind all these Ziocon war-lovers stand darker forces, which use them in the same way as they use the takfiris et al.
The warmongers in Israel, the US and now also the Nazis in Ukraine and surrounding areas (in Poland, under Catholic guise) are themselves the proxies of more powerful forces that stand in the background – the real enemies of God and mankind… Russia will defeat once more, hopefully with more helpers than the last time, but certainly with the same treacherous Western “allies”…
Without being too new-age’y, I think these “dark forces” are simply the very fabric of the current times. I tend to find the Hindu time perspective rather compelling: humankind goes through cycles of time made of spiritual seasons : we are currently reaching the end of the “spiritual winter” (they call it Kali Yuga).
There is nothing one can do to prevent these seasons to unfold at this cosmic level. The only thing one can do at an individual level through these dark times is to think right and act justly by being more aware and present (and endeavour that is made easier during the Kali Yuga, paradoxically, as processes are more dynamic and fast during this season – a simple look at the human activities and means of communication can show this).
An article I like to give as a reference is The End of The Kali Yuga
The author of this article has very interesting things to say in general (not about geopolitics though).
I just don’t get what the hard core neocons see as the long term goal of a war with Iran. Based on America’s military misadventures in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria, they must know they can never occupy and control the country. They can bomb it, shoot it up, kill a lot of people, create a lot of permanently maimed and terribly damage the country’s infrastructure, but after that…what? Even if their goal was total genocide and they could realistically accomplish such a heinous outcome, what would be the point? What would be the benefit?
Hard core Zionists might say that sending Iran back to the stone age would bring peace to Israel, but that is a crock. When has Iran ever attacked Israel, other than with hyperbolic rhetoric? What sort of “peace” has Israel achieved with the other neighboring peoples whom it savages in routine wars? Has Israel’s many one-sided “wars” (more like extermination campaigns) brought it peace with the Palestinians? Or with the people of Lebanon, Iraq, Syria…? Have those repeated bouts of genocide brought Israel the respect of the world?
What are supposed to be the ultimate benefits of America and NATO laying waste to Iran at the behest of Israel? What will it fix, how long will the “fix” last, and what will the form of the inexorable blowback take? We have already seen that the world will not allow the American corporate state to simply steal all the oil and gas in Iran. Tried that in Iraq and it didn’t work. Too many conflicting interests in the area to let all that treasure simply transfer to Washington’s balance sheets. Quite the opposite will happen. If Iraq was a black hole for some 2 trillion and counting dollars from the American treasury, think of what a war with Iran will cost the hapless working class American taxpayer. Someone needs to clue the Yanks that their glorious wars always have consequences… and for themselves, not just their contrived enemy. They never seem to learn. The human head has useful functions beyond donning a baseball cap and spouting gibberish through the oral aperture.
Actually very smart as usual, he is right.
Here is also an opinion of him by Finkelstein. Interesting
Fabulous short and to-the-point good news from someone who knows ‘the real deal’.
good news indeed
American State Sponsored Terrorism is the Gorilla-in-the-Living-Room issue that many people are still desperate to deny or minimize. This includes many American Agents of Influence who masquerade as alternative media “journalists,” geopolitical analysts/propagandists, or even peace activists.
So it is very important that Hezbollah is openly calling out the United States for its terror crimes.
To expose America’s role in arming and backing Jihadist terrorism like Al-Queda and now Daesh would shatter America’s national deception that it is a “force for good” in the world.
And it would open the door to unraveling the crime that would demonstrate America’s malevolent nature once and for all: the September 11th “terror” attack that the USA perpetrated on itself.
As such, “American State Terrorism” is a meme that needs much greater promotion throughout the internet and public debate.
I see some issues with this:
– if the larger American “public” were already INTERESTED and thinking critically, we wouldn’t be in this mess
– since the larger American public is kept dumb on purpose, I don’t think a critical mass can be reached. Yes, a minority of common people may become more aware and critical about the US State and its dirty deeds, but as long as the majority is busy with stupid things, I can’t see this translating into relevant political changes.
Yes, I am pessimistic. The MSM and entertainment industry have completely annihilated the political soul of most people, to the great satisfaction of the State, which is now running as an independent entity with its own existential purposes, far from the interests of the mass.
Ignorance is an alibi.
The American people CHOOSE to believe in their terrorist nation’s lies and deception.
The majority of Americans do have access to information through the internet that demonstrates very clearly that the USA is a state sponsor of terrorism such as Daesh and Al-Queda.
Indeed, even the mainstream media has ackowledged to a significant degree Anglo American terrorism.
American simply refuse to believe this reality–or worse yet, SUPPORT American state terrorism.
Because Americans have a fanatical belief that they are the Chosen Nation, the Beacon of Liberty, the Shining City on a Hill, the Land of the Free, and Leader of the Free World.
In short, the US national ideology of American Exceptionalism is the cause.
This exceptionalism is just a manifestation of militant parasitism. As far as the overwhelming majority population of the US is concerned, the far greater non-exceptional global population only elicits hatred, contempt, disgust, or total indifference. That’s perfectly understandable since, at bottom, it is 100% correct enemy consciousness. If and when Western imperialism is terminally smashed, it will come as an absolute nightmare to Westerners in general and Anglo-Americans in particular. Their living standards would plummet instantly and enormously as their lifestyles then forcibly were to reach an equilibrium with the rest of the planet.
Pindo exceptionalism was plagiarized by Nazi Germany and the Zionist Entity. But the same commitment to imperialist parasitism, depravity, and degeneracy is also very significant within Social Democracy: Syriza, Labour, SNP, PS, Podemos, etc. However, Pindo/Nazi exceptionalism is outright anti-civilizational and psychotic.
Not a matter of choosing. It is simply human nature – going along with group think. If all the media are saying the one thing then that is the group think. It has worked throughout history an is why people are likened to sheep. Just one or two sheep on their own will think for themselves and are difficult to handle. In a mob they stop thinking and just run with the mob. So who is thinking when the mob is running?
Hitler Goering Goebbels Himmler et al understood this aspect of human nature very well.
Great NasrAllah.As usual.
where can I watch the whole video with subs?
I am surprised nobody, not even this Hezbollah guy, talks about the Golan Heights. Who would benefit from the destruction of the only sovereign state with a legitimate claim to the Golan Heights?
