Europe: My honor is solidarity!
“That tells you all you need to know about the difference between modern Britain and the government of Vladimir Putin. They make Novichok, we make light sabers. One a hideous weapon that is specifically intended for assassination. The other an implausible theatrical prop with a mysterious buzz. But which of those two weapons is really more effective in the world of today?”.
Let’s begin this discussion with a few, basic questions.
Question one: does anybody sincerely believe that “Putin” (the collective name for the Russian Mordor) really attempted to kill a man which “Putin” himself had released in the past, who presented no interest for Russia whatsoever who, like Berezovsky, wanted to return back to Russia, and that to do the deed “Putin” used a binary nerve agent?
Question two: does anybody sincerely believe that the British have presented their “allies” (I will be polite here and use that euphemism) with incontrovertible or, at least, very strong evidence that “Putin” indeed did such a thing?
Question three: does anybody sincerely believe that the mass expulsion of Russian diplomats will somehow make Russia more compliant to western demands (for our purposes, it does not matter what demands we are talking about)?
Question four: does anybody sincerely believe that after this latest episode, the tensions will somehow abate or even diminish and that things will get better?
Question five: does anybody sincerely believe that the current sharp rise in tensions between the AngloZionist Empire (aka the “West”) does not place the Empire and Russia on collision course which could result in war, probably/possibly nuclear war, maybe not deliberately, but as the result of an escalation of incidents?
If in the zombified world of the ideological drones who actually remain in the dull trance induced by the corporate media there are most definitely those who answer “yes” to some or even all of the questions above, I submit that not a single major western decision maker sincerely believes any of that nonsense. In reality, everybody who matters knows that the Russians had nothing to do with the Skripal incident, that the Brits have shown no evidence, that the expulsion of Russian diplomats will only harden the Russian resolve, that all this anti-Russian hysteria will only get worse and that this all puts at least Europe and the USA, if not the entire planet, in great danger.
And yet what just happened is absolutely amazing: instead of using fundamental principles of western law (innocent until proven guilty by at least a preponderance of evidence or even beyond reasonable doubt), basic rules of civilized behavior (do not attack somebody you know is innocent), universally accepted ethical norms (the truth of the matter is more important than political expediency) or even primordial self-preservation instincts (I don’t want to die for your cause), the vast majority of western leaders chose a new decision-making paradigm which can be summarized in two words:
- “highly likely”
This is truly absolutely crucial and marks a fundamental change in the way the AngloZionist Empire will act from now on. Let’s look at the assumptions and implications of these two concepts.
First, “highly likely”. While “highly likely” does sound like a simplified version of “preponderance of evidence” what it really means is something very different and circular: “Putin” is bad, poisoning is bad, therefore it is “highly likely” that “Putin” did it. How do we know that the premise “Putin is bad” is true? Well – he does poison people, does he not?
You think I am joking?
Check out this wonderful chart presented to the public by “Her Majesty’s government” entitled “A long pattern of Russian malign activity”:
In the 12 events listed as evidence of a “pattern of Russian malign activity” one is demonstratively false (2008 invasion of Georgia), one conflates two different accusations (occupation of Crimea and destabilization of the Ukraine), one is circular (assassination of Skripal) and all others are completely unproven accusations. All that is missing here is the mass rape of baby penguins by drunken Russian sailors in the south pole or the use of a secret “weather weapon” to send hurricanes towards the USA. You don’t need a law degree to see that, all you need is an IQ above room temperature and a basic understanding of logic. For all my contempt for western leaders, even I wouldn’t make the claim that they all lack these. So here is where “solidarity” kicks-in:
“Solidarity” in this context is simply a “conceptual placeholder” for Stephen Decatur‘s famous “my country, right or wrong” applied to the entire Empire. The precedent of Meine Ehre heißt Treue just slightly rephrased into Meine Ehre heißt Solidarität also comes to mind.
Solidarity simply means that the comprador ruling elites of the West will say and do whatever the hell the AngloZionist tell them to. If tomorrow the UK or US leaders proclaim that Putin eats babies for breakfast or that the West needs to send a strong message to “Putin” that a Russian invasion of Vanuatu shall not be tolerated, then so be it: the entire AngloZionist nomenklatura will sing the song in full unison and to hell with facts, logic or even decency!
Solemnly proclaiming lies is hardly something new in politics, there is nothing new here. What is new are two far more recent developments: first, now everybody knows that these are lies and, second, nobody challenges or debunks them. Welcome to the AngloZionist New World Order indeed!
The Empire: by way of deception thou shalt do war
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it.
Over the past weeks I have observed something which I find quite interesting: both on Russian TV channels and in the English speaking media there is a specific type of anti-Putin individual who actually takes a great deal of pride in the fact that the Empire has embarked on a truly unprecedented campaign of lies against Russia. These people view lies as just another tool in a type of “political toolkit” which can be used like any other political technique. As I have mentioned in the past, the western indifference to the truth is something very ancient coming, as it does, from the Middle-Ages: roughly when the spiritual successors of the Franks in Rome decided that their own, original, brand of “Christianity” had no use for 1000 years of Consensus Patrum. Scholasticism and an insatiable thrust for worldly, secular, power produced both moral relativism and colonialism (with the Pope’s imprimatur in the form of the Treaty of Tordesillas). The Reformation (with its very pronounced Judaic influence) produced the bases of modern capitalism which, as Lenin correctly diagnosed, has imperialism as its highest stage. Now that the West is losing its grip on the planet (imagine that, some SOB nations dare resist!), all of the ideological justifications have been tossed away and we are left with the true, honest, barebones impulses of the leaders of the Empire: messianic hubris (essentially self-worship), violence and, above all, a massive reliance on deception and lies on every single level of society, from the commercial advertisements targeted at children to Colin Powell shaking some laundry detergent at the UNSC to justify yet another war of aggression.
Self-worship and a total reliance on brute force and falsehoods – these are the real “Western values” today. Not the rule of law, not the scientific method, not critical thought, not pluralism and most definitely not freedom. We are back, full circle, to the kind of illiterate thuggery the Franks so perfectly embodied and which made them so infamous in the (then) civilized world (the south and eastern Mediterranean). The agenda, by the way, is also the same one as the Franks had 1000 years ago: either submit to us and accept our dominion, or die, and the way to accept our dominion is to let us plunder all your riches. Again, not much difference here between the sack of the First Rome in 410, the sack of the Second Rome in 1204 and the sack of the Third Rome in 1991. As psychologists well know, the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.
Interestingly, the Chinese saw straight through this strategic psyop and they are now sounding the alarm in their very official Global Times: (emphasis added)
The accusations that Western countries have hurled at Russia are based on ulterior motives, similar to how the Chinese use the expression “perhaps it’s true” to seize upon the desired opportunity. From a third-person perspective, the principles and diplomatic logic behind such drastic efforts are flawed, not to mention that expelling Russian diplomats almost simultaneously is a crude form of behavior. Such actions make little impact other than increasing hostility and hatred between Russia and their Western counterparts (…) The fact that major Western powers can gang up and “sentence” a foreign country without following the same procedures other countries abide by and according to the basic tenets of international law is chilling. During the Cold War, not one Western nation would have dared to make such a provocation and yet today it is carried out with unrestrained ease. Such actions are nothing more than a form of Western bullying that threatens global peace and justice. (…) It is beyond outrageous how the US and Europe have treated Russia. Their actions represent a frivolity and recklessness that has grown to characterize Western hegemony that only knows how to contaminate international relations. Right now is the perfect time for non-Western nations to strengthen unity and collaborative efforts among one another. These nations need to establish a level of independence outside the reach of Western influence while breaking the chains of monopolization declarations, predetermined adjudications and come to value their own judgment abilities. (…) The West is only a small fraction of the world and is nowhere near the global representative it once thought it was. The silenced minorities within the international community need to realize this and prove just how deep their understanding is of such a realization by proving it to the world through action.
As the French say “à bon entendeur, salut!”: the Chinese position is crystal clear, as is the warning. I would summarize it as so: if the West is an AngloZionist doormat, then the East is most definitely not.
[Sidebar: I know that there are some countries in Europe who have, so far, shown the courage to resist the AngloZionist Diktat. Good for them. I will wait to see how long they can resist the pressure before giving them a standing ovation]
The modern Ahnenerbe Generalplan Ost
The decision, therefore, lies here in the East; here must the Russian enemy, this people numbering two hundred million Russians, be destroyed on the battlefield and person by person, and made to bleed to death
(Reichsführer Heinrich Himmler)
Still, none of that explain why the leaders of the Empire have decided to engage in a desperate game of “nuclear chicken” to try to, yet again, force Russia to comply with its demands to “go away and shut up”. This is counter-intuitive and I get several emails each week telling me that there is absolutely no way the leaders of the AngloZionist Empire would want a war with Russia, especially not a nuclear-armed one. The truth is that while western leaders are most definitely psychopaths, they are neither stupid nor suicidal, but neither were Napoleon or Hitler! And, yes, they probably don’t really want a full-scale war with Russia. The problem is that these rulers are also desperate, and for good cause.
Let’s look at the situation just a few months ago. The US was defeated in Syria, ridiculed in the DPRK, Trump was hated in Europe, the Russians and the Germans were working on North Stream, the British leaders forced to at least pretend to work on Brexit, the entire “Ukrainian” project had faceplanted, the sanctions against Russia had failed, Putin was more popular than ever and the hysterical anti-Trump campaign was still in full swing inside the USA. The next move by the AngloZionist elites was nothing short of brilliant: by organizing a really crude false flag in the UK the Empire achieved the following results:
- The Europeans have been forced right back into the Anglosphere’s fold (“solidarity”, remember?)
- The Brexiting Brits are now something like the (im-)moral leaders of Europe again.
- The Russians are now demonized to such a degree that any accusation, no matter how stupid, will stick.
- In the Middle-East, the US and Israel now have free reign to start any war they want because the (purely theoretical) European capability to object to anything the Anglos want has now evaporated, especially now that the Russians have become “known chemical-criminals” from Ghouta to Salisbury
- At the very least, the World Cup in Russia will be sabotaged by a massive anti-Russian campaign. If that campaign is really successful, there is still the hope that the Germans will finally cave in and, if maybe not outright cancel, then vat least ery much delay North Stream thereby forcing the Europeans to accept, what else, US gas.
This is an ambitious plan and, barring an unexpected development, it sure looks like it might work. The problem with this strategy is that it falls short of getting Russia to truly “go away and shut up”. Neocons are particularly fond of humiliating their enemies (look at how they are still gunning for Trump even though by now the poor man has become their most subservient servant) and there is a lot of prestige at stake here. Russia, therefore, must be humiliated, truly humiliated, not just by sabotaging her participation in Olympic games or by expelling Russian diplomats, but by something far more tangible like, say, an attack on the very small and vulnerable Russian task force in Syria. Herein lies the biggest risk.
The Russian task force in Syria is tiny, at least compared to the immense capabilities of CENTCOM+NATO. The Russians have warned that if they are attacked, they will shoot down not only the attacking missiles but also their launchers. Since the Americans are not dumb enough to expose their aircraft to Russian air defenses, they will use air power only outside the range of Russian air defenses and they will use only cruise missiles to strike targets inside the “protection cone” of the Russians air defenses. The truth is that I doubt that the Russians will have the opportunity to shoot down many US aircraft, at least not with their long-range S-300/S-400 SAMs. Their ubiquitous and formidable combined short to medium range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery weapon system, the Pantsir, might have a better chance simply because it’s location is impossible to predict. But the real question is this: will the Russians shoot back at the USN ships if they launch cruise missiles at Syria?
My strictly personal guess is that they won’t unless Khmeimim, Tartus or another large Russian objective (official Russian compounds in Damascus) are hit. Striking a USN ship would be tantamount to an act of war and that is just not something the Russians will do if they can avoid it. The problem with that is this restraint will, yet again, be interpreted as a sign of weakness, not civilization, by the “modern Franks” (visualize a Neanderthal with a nuclear club in his fist). Should the Russians decide to act à la American and use violence to “send a message”, the Empire will immediately perceive that as a loss of face and a reason to immediately escalate further to reestablish the “appropriate” hierarchy between the “indispensable nation” and the “gas station masquerading as a country”. So here is the dynamic at work
Russia limits herself to words of protests ==>> the Empire sees that as a sign of weakness and escalates
Russia responds in kind with real actions ==>> The Empire feels humiliated and escalates
Now look at this from a Russian point of view for a second and ask yourself what you would do in this situation?
The answer, I think, is obvious: you try to win as much time as possible and you prepare for war. The Russians have been doing exactly that since at least early 2015.
For Russia this is really nothing new: been there, done that, and remember it very, very well, by the way. The “western project” for Russia has always been the same since the Middle-Ages, the only difference today is the consequences of war. With each passing century the human cost of the various western crusades against Russia got worse and worse and now we are not only looking at the very real possibility of another Borodino or Kursk, and not even at another Hiroshima, but at something which we can’t even really imagine: hundreds of millions of people die in the course of just a few hours.
How do we stop that?
Is the West even capable of acting in a different way?
I very much doubt it.
The one actor who can stop the upcoming war: China
There is one actor which might, maybe, stop the current skidding towards Armageddon: China. Right now, the Chinese have officially declared that they have what they call a “comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation” later shortened to “strategic partnership”. This is a very apt expression as it does not speak of an “alliance”: two countries of the size of Russia and China cannot have an alliance in the traditional sense – they are too big and different for that. They are, however, in a symbiotic relationship, that both sides understand perfectly (see this White Paper for details). What this means in very simple terms is this: the Chinese cannot let Russia be defeated by the Empire because once Russia is gone, they will be left one on one with a united, triumphal and infinitely arrogant West (likewise I would argue that Russia cannot afford to have Iran defeated by the Empire for exactly the same reasons, and neither can Iran let the Israelis destroy Hezbollah). Of course, in terms of military power, China is a dwarf compared to Russia, but in terms of economic power Russia is the dwarf when compared to China in this “strategic community of interests”. Thus, China cannot assist Russia militarily. But remember that Russia does not need this if only because military assistance is what you need to win a war. Russia does not want to win a war, Russia desperately needs to avoid a war! And here is where China can make a huge difference: psychologically.
Yes, the Empire is currently taking on both Russia and China, but everybody, from its leaders to its zombified population, seems to think that these are two, different and separate foes. [We can use this opportunity to most sincerely thank Donald Trump for so “perfectly” timing his trade war with China.] They are not: not only are Russia and China symbionts who share the same vision of a prosperous and peaceful Eurasia united by a common future centered around the OBOR and, crucially, free from the US dollar or, for that matter, from any type of major US role, but Russia and China also stand for exactly the same notion of a post-hegemonic world order: a multi-polar world of different and truly sovereign nations living together under the rules of international law. If the AngloZionists have their way, this will never happen. Instead, we will have the New World Order promised by Bush, dominated by the Anglosphere countries (basically the ECHELON members, aka the “Five Eyes”) and, on top of that pyramid, the global Zionist overlord. This is something China cannot, and will not allow. Neither can China allow a US-Russian war, especially not a nuclear one because China, like Russia, also needs peace.
I don’t see what Russia could do to convince the Empire to change its current course: the US leaders are delusional and the Europeans are their silent, submissive servants. As shown above, whatever Russia does it always invites further escalation from the Empire. Of course, Russia can turn the West into a pile of smoldering radioactive ashes. This is hardly a solution since, in the inevitable exchange, Russia herself will also be turned into a similar pile of smoldering radioactive ashes by the Empire. In spite of that, the Russian people have most clearly indicated by their recent vote that they have absolutely no intention of caving in to the latest western crusade against them. As for the Empire, it will never accept the fact that Russia refuses to submit. It therefore seems to me that the only thing which can stop Armageddon would be for the Chinese to ceaselessly continue to repeat to the rulers of the Empire and the people of the West what the wrote in the article quoted above: that “The West is only a small fraction of the world and is nowhere near the global representative it once thought it was” and “the silenced minorities within the international community need to realize this and prove just how deep their understanding is of such a realization by proving it to the world through action.”
History teaches us that the West only strikes against those opponents it sees as defenseless or, at least, weaker. The fact that the Popes, Napoleon or Hitler were wrong in their evaluation of the strength of Russia does not change this truism. In fact, the Neocons today are making exactly the same mistake. So telling them about the fact that Russia is much stronger than what the western propaganda says and which, apparently, many western rulers believe (you always end up believing your own propaganda), does not help. Russian “reminders of reality” will do no good simply because the West is out of touch with reality and lacks the ability to understand its own limitations and weaknesses. But if China stepped in and conveyed that crucial message “The West is only a small fraction of the world” and that the rest of the world will prove this “through action” then other countries will step in and a war can be averted because even the current delusion-based “solidarity” will collapse in the face of a united Eurasia.
Russia alone cannot continue to carry the burden of stopping the messianic psychopaths ruling the Empire.
The rest of the world, led by China, now needs to step in to avert the war.
China has taken the first step to do this very thing, with North Korea. That which we saw the last weekend in Beijing was the message from Ruler for Life, President Xi Jinping, that North Korea is a protectorate of China. It is not a mere neighbor. The Chinese will not allow harm to come to Pyongyang no matter what Trump does or does not achieve in meeting Kim, nor what the US thinks is to be bargained.
China has clearly given guarantees to North Korea. The price, I believe, is North Korea will obey Beijing in every detail of what is required to get the US troops, nukes and missile defenses out of South Korea. That is what Beijing is demanding North Korea bargain for with abandonment of nukes and ICBMs.
As for pressuring the US to back off Russia, China must do military things. Presently, it has Taiwan Travel Act Trump signed as a major threat by the US to prop up Taiwan as a sovereign nation again. China has a naval task force including its aircraft carrier and 40 ships south of Taiwan. This is to show it can project naval power, air power in the South China Sea and Taiwan.
So we have North Korea, the South China Sea, Taiwan and the not to be forgotten East China Sea, just north of Taiwan, and the disputed Diayou Islands.
Does the US want a Asia Pacific war? China certainly intends to defend all these zones as hers. And backing China in her rear areas is Russia.
So, a layered confrontation by China in China’s front yard, where each of the four zones of conflict are the Hegemon’s sandbox of chaos and militarism.
How does this help Russia avoid a war?
The US is totally incapable of fighting China in Asia Pacific and fighting Russia in Ukraine and Syria at the same time.
Right now, China will be doing some military strutting. This will continue through the talks with Trump and Kim.
As for the Russians avoiding a large explosion of battle with the US in Syria, the rules already have been written. Russia will start killing US troops if they kill Russians.
They don’t have to sink a ship. They just have to Kalibr those 14 bases illegally in Syria. Al Tanf, Deir ez zor at the Conoco oil field would be two good ones to begin retaliation with. The US has 4000 ground troops inside Syria. Most are out in the open at those bases. Always take the easy targets. The US did it to the Russians and Syrians several times in the war. It’s time for Russia to bleed the CENTCOM forces if the Russians can hit again.
I’d have those coordinates programmed in the Kalibrs already.
In fact, the Russians just put up a new few military satellites.
For Russia this is really nothing new: been there, done that, and remember it very, very well, by the way. The “western project” for Russia has always been the same since the Middle-Ages,
Kinda strange statement are you saying that Russia has not made war against western and eastern countries since the middle ages? Invaded, annex, occupied lands and people?
whom exactly did Russia occupy?
and when exactly did it invade?
The last campaigns to the West were made in the days of Ancient Rus, and even then modern states were not yet formed. they were dynastic-territorial disputes.
all other trips to the West were on a return visit and Russia always went back
Well, Poland would disagree.
Look at maps of the Czar’s Russia at the time of WW1. Poland was a part of Russia. The early campaigns of East Front WW1 that led to the battle of Tannenberg, which I’d imagine Russia would rather forget, show the then German territory of East Prussia being invaded by Russian armies from the east and from the south from Poland.
I don’t fear Russia, and I don’t believe that Russia is about to invade the west, but lets not get to Trumpian levels of alternate history. :)
(In the maps at this wiki entry, the Russia-German border is a rather hard to see dash-double dot line, just above the label for the Russian Second Army. Warsaw is to the south of the area on this map.)
Why should East save The West. Did The West save anybody? The West can join The East, it is the maximum what can be done.
Poland was shared between Russia, Austria and Prussen – later Germany. Before these times – Poland has occupied great parts od Malorussia and Novorussia.
In the current corporate propaganda, Putin is constantly accused of wanting to revive an Empire. But the propagandists seem confused about whether its the “Soviet Empire” or the earlier “Russian Empire” that Putin wants to restore. They seem to default to the “Soviet Empire” to connect to the corporate propaganda of the 1st Cold War that the evil Soviets were the threat that demanded that Americans turn over all their national treasure to the Pentagon and the CIA for their own safety.
In the time of the czars, through lets say the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, Russia was indeed an expansive empire. For just one example, I will gladly concede the debating point that Russia forceably annexed Crimea. However, I will contend that it happened sometime around 1790.
I’m not even sure I’d agree with the term “Soviet Empire”, as it seems to be an oxymoronic term. The Soviets were not exactly imperialistic. The early Bolsheviks believed, probably correctly, that the best hope that their revolution would survive against the certain retribution of the bankers and their puppet governments was that it the workers of the world did indeed unite and create a world revolution. However, by the time of Stalin, the slogans had been changed to “a Revolution in one country.”
One of the main, but by no means the only, reasons Czarina Ye’katarina ‘annexed’ Krimea back then was to end the ever constant slaving raids in to Malorus by the Tatari/Turks, who held sway at the time in Krimu. I also have an idea that the good Czarina also was aware of the possibilities of Sevastopol Harbor. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, what the heck was the name back then but who cares? Greeks were here 2500 years ago as they were in Balaklava, Yevpatorya, Fiodosya, Yalta and Kerch, let alone Odessa etc. Greeks called this berg Chersonesus and it was in this berg that Russia began to convert to Christianity.
It is a completely false assumption that Russia was converted to Christianity by the Greeks. Had it been so, Russia would’ve used the Greek alphabet at some time from its conversion. That is definitely not the case.
Glagolitic was created at the end of the IX-th century and is the Slavs’ first “modern” alphabet, predecessor of modern cyrillic. Glagolitic was invented on the Balkans by brothers St. Cyril (the Philosopher) and Methodius. As it’s written in their hagiography “Panonian Legends”, the Byzanthine emperor asked the brothers to perform the Morava mission (in what today are the Czech Republic and Slovakia) because “[you] come from Salonika, where the cleanest Slavic is spoken…” (Cyrillic was shortly after invented by St. Clement of Ohrid, a disciple of St. Cyril and Methodius).
Russian Count Vladimir and Countess Olga were both baptised in Ohrid (not Constantinople!), by the Patriarch of Ohrid. Last year, during the visit to Moscow by Macedonian President Ivanov, VVP himself reiterated Russian remembrance and gratitute towards its southern brethren for bringing to Russia Christianity and literacy.
In return Macedonia expelled Russian diplomats.
You are slowly approaching the truth – Cyrrilic alphabet was created by the group of the St. St. Seventh of Bulgarian scholars in which participated the bishop of Ohrid St. Kliment. You should not omit the fact that Ohrid and what is called today Macedonia was part of Bulgarian Empire then, should you?
Macedonia is at present a zionist-occupied country, where the handpicked “elites” are put into positions of power in order to change the country’s name (to a new one that HellAss will get to choose), so that Macedonia can subsequently join ZATO. Macedonian political “elites” act according to Anglo-Zionist dictate, completely disregarding Macedonian national interests and the people’s views and sympathies in this issue.
On the other hand, you Vulgars are hilarious with your widely established pratice of “adopting” all historically significant (in a positive manner) personalities. Either way, I see no point in mentioning which empire ruled over Macedonia in the IX-X century, because the Vulgarian Empire of that age was certainly not Christian – at least not before 863 A.D. when Khan Boris I (that was his original Turko-Mongolic title before he took the title Knyaz, upon his conversion to Christianity). Yet, you have the audacity to claim that it was “Bulgarian scholars” that invented cyrillic!?!
I wonder how much would it take for you to understand that as a pagan entity, the Vulgarian Empire could be instrumental in the creation of a cyrillic language (and the parallel spreading of Orthodox Christianity) only in the dreams of “modern” San-Stefano daydreamers of a Great Vulgaria (and Anglo-Zionist bootlickers), such as yourself, Bozidar Dimitrov and Krasimir Karakacanov?
which western and eastern countries has Russia invaded, occupied, and annexed? let me have a list. and I don’t mean in RESPONSE to a war of aggression (as was the case with Poland, Germany, Japan, Finland etc etc).
> RESPONSE to a war of aggression
when did Finland attacked USSR before 1940 ?
Arguably, Poland attacked Ukraine, not Russia or USSR
“Arguably, Poland attacked Ukraine,”
Well, it was “the Ukraine” and was I believe called Malarossiya, an area of Russia with a special culture of its own.
Basically a burg of Russia.
In 1919 ?
There were Ukraine, Western Ukraine and Soviet Ukraine contesting the power over that are.
Plus Odessa republic, Donetsk-Krivorozhye republic, Crimea-Tavrian republic.
No, it was long past Russian Empire and Malorossia concept
After defeating the Ukrainians (apparently a repeating theme in Polish history), Poland then attacked the Red Russian armies of the Soviet Union.
From wikipedia ….. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish%E2%80%93Soviet_War
“With the success of the Greater Poland Uprising (1918–19), Poland had re-established its statehood for the first time since the 1795 partition. Forming the Second Polish Republic, it proceeded to carve out its borders from the territories of its former partitioners. Many of these territories had long been the object of conflict between Russia and Poland.
Poland was not alone in its new-found opportunities and troubles. With the collapse of Russian and German occupying authorities, virtually all of Poland’s newly independent neighbors began fighting over borders: Romania fought with Hungary over Transylvania, Yugoslavia with Italy over Rijeka, Poland with Czechoslovakia over Cieszyn Silesia, with Germany over Poznań and with Ukrainians over Eastern Galicia. Ukrainians, Belarusians, Lithuanians, Estonians and Latvians fought against each other and against the Russians, who were just as divided.
Spreading Communist influences resulted in Communist revolutions in Munich (April–May 1919), in Berlin (January 1919), in Budapest (March–August 1919) and in Prešov in Slovakia (June–July 1919). Winston Churchill commented sarcastically: “The war of giants has ended, the wars of the pygmies begin.” All of these engagements–with the sole exception of the Polish–Soviet war–would prove short-lived.”
”Kinda strange statement are you saying that Russia has not made war against western and eastern countries since the middle ages? Invaded, annex, occupied lands and people?”
Reply: Kinda predictable that you don’t know what you are talking about. Let’s peruse the history: Sweden invades Russia in 1707, unsuccessfully as it turned out. Napoleon invaded Russia in 1812 with a massive grand army of 600,000, most didn’t make it back to France. Germany invaded Russia in 1914, Western Armies of intervention invaded Russia in 1920. Hitler invaded the USSR in 1941.
So you see Russia has been more sinned against than sinning. Not that historical events and facts carry any weight. Western ignorance/arrogance is truly awesome.
Of course it has, Russia did not become so large by magic after all.
Lenin really wanted to make a push for Germany during his first years of rule, but he was defeated in Poland, Russia has been attacking Sweden and vice versa for over a thousand years.
> Lenin really wanted to make a push for Germany during his first years of rule
what? what are you smoking? Lenin was in absolutely no position to “make a push for Germany”. all he managed after the highly detrimental 1914-17 and especially the half a year of chaos rule by the Provisional Government of Kerensky & co was the highly disastrous Brest-Litovsk peace treaty, where Russia surrendered numerous territories to Germany which had been within the Russian Empire for centuries, such as the Baltics, Ukraine, etc, as well as paid 6 BILLION Reichsmark in *reparations* to Germany.
According to Spencer Tucker, a historian of World War I, “The German General Staff had formulated extraordinarily harsh terms that shocked even the German negotiator.” – and Lenin just accepted those.
> but he was defeated in Poland
no, lol. Poland unilaterally attacked Soviet Russia under Pilsudski in 1919, with the explicit goal of reinstating the centuries-old Rzecz Poszpolita, and progressed as far east as not just occupying Vilnius etc, but even occupying Kiev and Minsk – which never were Polish, ever. yet after that, as usual, Poland was comprehensively defeated and driven back to Warsaw by the Red Army.
> Russia has been attacking Sweden and vice versa
if you look at that conflict (which indeed spans back many centuries), it was *ALSO* originally ignited by Sweden, which was a quasi local scale “superpower” in Middle Ages Europe and aimed to occupy what never was Swedish and has been Russian territory for 1000’s of years – like the Ladoga area and what is now St. Petersburg. at the time when Swedish attacks started in 1142-67, Sweden was a united state, yet Russia did not yet exist as a unified state and the Swedes fought with Novgorod and Karelian princedoms. the whole territorial quarrels then went back and forth for near 7 centuries until in the Russian-Swedish war of 1808 Sweden comprehensively lost and Finland became part of the Russian Empire.
I totally agree with you. The first thing Lenin did is stopped any and all war activities. Resulting from that, opportunistic Poles under the rule of Piłsudski attacked Soviets and captured swathes of land. After the WWII Stalin took back what Lenin lost, he was kind enough to give Poland what’s today western Poland (I will use Polish names here only) (city Gdańsk, from Szczecin through Poznań and Wrocław down to Sudety and Karpaty and Estern Prussia. While he kept Estonia, Litwa, parts of Belarus and of course Western Ukraine which he considered Russian. As a punishment for taking active part in a war against Soviet Union he took parts of Romania (Moldavia?). Keep in mind that, while he freed Austria he did not occupy it, and he had no problem recalling Soviet forces from it. This explains, why Austria seems to be most soft on Russia today, because Austria remembers its history. Also little known fact to non-Greeks, England insisted on keeping it’s claws in Greece and he promised they can keep it. So, while the ELAS freed Greece on its own, he (Stalin) allowed British occupational forces to enter Greece and re-establish British rule over Greece.
Why all those things are happening? Because the western educational system does not teach westerners any real history.
The Bolshevik revolution in Oct 1917 was the second Russian revolution of that year. The more middle-class Duma which had power after the fall of the Czar’s had failed to do anything to end the war. Thus, one of the calls of the Bolsheviks that led to the people backing their taking power was a promise to end the war. Stopping all war activities and accepting a truly horrible set demand from the Germans to get a cease fire was a core position of the Bolsheviks.
Why do you think Stalin “agreed” ? Why do you think anyone cared to ask him?
When UK army together with Wehrmacht pondered Greek guerilleros – what could USSR do?
Ot was balancing on the brink of Operation Unthinkable itseld.
That was not Yalta world anymore, that was Potsdam world.
Dear Nikky sans Haley,
Thank you for being the sole sane voice on this Russian propaganda website.
From annexation of Duchy of Limpopo in Western Europe to the invasion of Sultanate of Kimjonguno in the west and grabbing Jokowidodo islands in the SouthEast Asia, Putin has extended his slimy greasy tentacles all over the whole world.
For you unparalleled service to the free democratic west against ‘those who hate us cause they ain’t us’, we will renew your title of ‘Honorary Aryan’.
I thought northern Indians were Aryans.
Nope! The indo-european languages entered India via cultural transmission, not invasion and conquest. By analogy, most educated people in the world now speak English, not because they all emigrated from the British Isles or America, but because American “culture” circled the globe after 1945.
About the physical presence if Aryans in India, there is a current discussion ar Unz of Reich’s research on the topic. It strongly suggests you are wrong. Maybe you could intercede there if you are confident if your facts.
Yes, Macon-I am dreadfully behind the times in regard to the question of human antecedents. Just perusing a few references I’ve been left with yet another reminder of my ignorance, and have a nice lot of reading to catch up with.
First of all – Stalin occupied the countries which had formerly occupied USSR: Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia and Baltic Republics. According to The Yalta agreement – Sowiets and Ammericans divided Europe in 2 pieces, and each od them occupied its part.
> The Yalta agreement – Sowiets and Ammericans divided Europe in 2 pieces
No find me a person whining about Roosevelt-Stalin pact like they do about Molotov-Ribbentrop :-D
Sir, correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t this the exact reason which the saker has tried to expound? That the Chinese can stop the Anglozionist with their indispensable and racist mindset without effective coordination with the rest of the world is a tall order. In fact, any opposition by China will only harden the resolve of the Western neoconservative to subdue such opposition at all cost. The only way they can be stopped is to look at the issue holistically, starting from the most sensitive region of the world which is the middle east, where Russia is in coordination with Iran is doing brilliantly. To have such a resistance on a global scale will require a heavy economically which I doubt a country like China will be ready to pay unless the threat directly affect her interest.
Sometimes you witness stark selfishness in the guise of pragmatism in the actions of other major powers outside the Western camp, only when the west treats them like shit they’ll now turn to the rest of the world and start proposing solidarity.
The west perceive resistance as a loss of face which most be responded to, so my submission is that the these war will happen before we can witness any solidarity among the nations outside the western orbit, invariably it will be the precursor, the eye opener and the wakeup call that ties the destiny and survival of the non western nations to one another. Which nation will get the first hit I cannot be precise but it can be nip in the bud if there’s a recognition for a unified resistance to defeat them at wherever they first raise there ugly head just as Russia and Iran are doing at Syria.
But this is a big if and in fact it is like asking for too much when countries like China sometimes act as if they cannot wait to replace America in the global economic order making use of the same institutions of oppression established by western capitalism.
Wrong. Middle East is the last place China would make a stand. They have done nothing with their military beyond some observers to the Syrian War. They do support with military supplies, but haven’t even sent special forces to go kill Uyghurs who are there by the thousands with ISIS and al Nusra. So forget the ME.
The Chinese are built to defend and barely have the kind of military that can project power beyond the 9-dash line and the inner islands. They have a very new blue water capability, but truly remain a littoral, green water navy in force structure.
They have no combat experience since 1979 which was a two-week disaster into Vietnam.
In 1968 they got their Han-butts kicked by the Russians at a border war. They exchange minor blows with India in the Himalayas, but that has become “rock-throwing” exchanges of late.
So, as I have indicated, China can offset the great US military and its allies in the Asia Pacific when it puts into motion its vast home-based land, sea and aero forces of the PLA.
What happens when China’s dragon roars is the US also has to account for 93,000 Chinese vessels in the South China Sea, all of which are on the military communications systems and could bear a missile or two aboard.
The Chinese counter-strike is immense and the US dares not to take it lightly.
But it is not a global or other regional force like the Russian Military has shown.
In the Far East/Northeast/Korean Peninsula zone Russia and China are moving toward integration of military defenses. They have done many exercises together to get the Chinese up to and using the Russian tactics, logistics and command ways of warfare.
Soon, the vast 3 million man North Korean military will be a proxy for the Chinese.
Imagine what the US faces in the Asia Pacific. The Hegemon cannot dream about any success from the North Pole down the Rim to the Straits of Malacca under this coming reality.
From the Sea of Japan, the Yellow Sea, the East China Sea, to the South China Sea, and large parts of the Philippine Sea, the US Navy is a sitting duck for the Double Helix.
What once was a US Naval Lake is now a shooting gallery from Eurasia’s multi-polar duo.
Asia Pacific is where China and Russia can really throw back the Hegemon.
Sino-Indian War of 1962, the Chinese managed to penetrate deep inside the Indian territory. It was a clear Chinese victory.
445, China faces a bitter and vicious racist enemy in the Zionazis. The execrable UK Fraudian has an article today where some Imperial thug describes the USA facing three EXISTENTIAL threats to its global leadership, one of which is the rise of China. So, as any observer must have noted over recent years, the Zionazi elites see China’s rise, not as anything positive, the result of decades of hard work by the Chinese and enlightened Government, but as an ‘existential’ ie life or death, threat to the rule of God’s Chosen Western People over humanity. The thug finds China ‘assertive’ (how dare the ‘mere Asiatics’!) and aggressive in the China Seas (ie responding to US aggression and advanced war plans) and ‘Dohklam’, ie the tiny kerfuffle near Bhutan, now forgotten, caused by typical Indian duplicity. I mean, what is the illegal aggression and genocide in Iraq compared to Chinese ‘aggression’ in Dohklam? It is the most tragi-comic example of American psychopathy one can imagine, but right at home in the Fraudian, next to the Zionazi hate campaign against Corbyn and UK Labour, and the push for war with Russia.
This was always the obvious deal to resolve the ‘issue’ of North Korea and its nuke program.
North Korea has said and been rather consistent in saying that it fews its nuke program as neccessary for its defense and security, and has only offered to “de-nuclearize” if given guarantees for its security.
Would the North Koreans simply believe a USA promise of their security? No way. First off, the USA has already broken a Clinton era deal on the subject. Secondly, at this very time North Korea sees the USA dishonoring its recent de-nuclearization agreement with Iran. So, there’s not a chance in Hades that a simple promise from the USA to respect North Korea’s security is enough to get North Korea to give up its nuke program.
Therefore, the obvious answer was for China and Russia to gurantee North Korea’s security. In the terms the US uses with NATO, for China and Russia to put North Korea under their nuclear umbrellas. That’s the only way I see North Korea feeling secure against constant threats of the USA and the combined S.Korean-USA militaries that constantly drill on the border for planned attacks into the North.
I’d presume that this was a topic of conversation of the recent meetings in Bejing and will also be discussed in the proposed meetings between North Korea and Russia before this proposed USA-NK summit.
Some miss the subtle difference in this standoff between US (Trump) and North Korea (Kim). It’s not up to them. Trump will be shown a deal he must take. Denuclearization for the end of US hegemony over South Korea and the Peninsula (via nuclear war threats)
China wants (and Russia, too) the US Hegemon out of the Asia Pacific region. It clearly does not resent US trade relations or even cooperative relations. But those are problematic and highly speculative bonuses.
In order to get the US out, North Korean sovereignty will be sacrificed (but not to the US demands and geopolitical and military pressures). North Korea is now a dependent entity of Beijing and President Xi, personally. China will issue orders and Kim will deliver or Kim will be gone.
China and Russia will get the US military out of the South and the missile defenses in South Korea and Japan out of the area in exchange for the end to North Korean’s nuclear and ICBM programs.
The US can’t get the result they want which is denuclearization and the continuation of its hegemony. It is China and Russia who will get the result they want. Denuclearization is a stated goal of all but the reality is ending the hegemony over South Korean, the Korean Peninsula and the Asia Pacific region.
Following the end of US presence in South Korea, Okinawa will expel the US, also.
The Eurasian development will accelerate once this hegemony is ended.
North Koreans will get food production from Siberia and Far East, the Peninsula will get energy from Russia (gas, petroleum and nuclear power), rail from China and fiber optic and highways.
The South will invest in the North and move back closer to China for its share of the boom from Eurasian development.
It will take time, but China is built for Time. The US is built for instant gratification. Trump more than any President.
The framework is what we have seen in Iran. China and Russia put the final clamps on Iran’s nuclear weapons program by joining the sanctions. Things went fast thereafter to the deal, and Iran’s freedom from sanctions.
We can expect the similar inspection, negotiations, and results in North Korea. But in reality China is holding the NK nukes and Russia is holding the NK missiles. North Korea is the junior partner in this matter now. The regime capitulated in Beijing.
Now the talks will go forward. Trump will get something he can claim is “winning”.
But the victory will be China’s and Russia’s.
I hope you’re right. It will be nice.
I like this scenario!
Advancing by smallish (compared to nuke rattling), apparently indirect steps, where each move consists of a number of steps. This is the kind of strategic thinking/acting that the USA seems to be incapable of. All it can do is barge its way in and throw big rocks and smash things.
The DPRK can de-nuclearise when the only state ever to use them against civilians, the USA, does.
Thanks, everyone, for your comments–lots of interesting ideas are being put forward here. Looking at the Korean peninsula from some economic issues, I am curious about the following: 1. how much of a financial burden for the US are the nearly 40K troops stationed in SK ( after all of these decades)? 2. How much of a drag on the South Korean economy are the purchases of US military equipment? 3. I suspect there are “private parties” in both South Korea and China that have been doing business with North Korea for years–I like to imagine that deals could be made (re. infrastructure projects, mineral resource development) that would put a more closely aligned Korea firmly and positively on the Belt/Road Initiative. This could be a real win-win for the Far East, for a huge part of our planet, actually. I don’t see North Korea “denuclearizing”, no matter what kind of threats the US hurls against it–one reason being is that there is no nation, once it has gotten its hands on nuclear weapons, ever gives this power up….. (interesting how NK, which is about the size of the state of Indiana, is able to get its hands on nuclear weapons and missile technology ! ! !) How many nuclear powers Are there, really? Anyone with juicy details on, say, the Israeli or Saudi nuclear weapons programs? How about Turkey? Does the CIA have its own nukes? How about a handful of ultra high net worth individuals, could people like that get their hands on nuclear weapons, or dictate their use? Seeing how Wall Street controls the US government, who really controls “our” nukes? ? *** Back to Kim: he is a greasy snake and I wonder how firm a grip China really has on him? Seems like China likes having him around to yank America’s chains every now and then. It’s a David vs. goliath thing — people are rooting for the little guy, seeing how he stands up to the big dog.
Im not sure why Saker called China military a dwaf comparing to Russia, when its world 3rd most powerful. Even Russia can’t win a war with China without been totally destroyed.
And what you commented is what i thought too. China can posture for a war in any of contentious areas to make US restraints from playing too hard in Syria war or Ukraine with Russia, as US can’t fight two major wars simultaneously.
NK can always walk away from the negotiation, lop a nuke ICBM near US water to crank up tension immediately, showing its ability to nuke US mainland. Russia will be happy to provide a few dozens of old Soviet nuke ICBM for NK to threaten US, even as retaliatory option incase US decided to try its luck on preemptive strike with nuke. A small exchange that demolish several hundred of thousands is enough to let Yankees trembling and shrieking for war ending. And China & Russia won’t allowed NK to be destroyed, US know well its a losing battle with NK.
China has already drew a redline for Taiwan mutual visit with US military, the day USN warship enter Taiwan, its the liberation day. US know China means what it said by painful history of Korean war.
China could also seize the chance to escalate the trade war strategically by selling down its few trillions US treasury, slap heavy tariffs on parts that need to put into US products like iphone that US still will import with no option. This will make US financially unstable to prepare for any real war. There isn’t much US can do in short term, as its manufacturing already hollow out. Any tariffs against China is tantamount to collecting extra tax on US people only, since it still has to import China products.
So can Iran crank up tension in ME. US simply has too many enemies.
Problem with Russia is Putin is always crying Wolf, but no action. Too many empty warnings, all bends to endear the West by calling them partners & colleagues even been repeatedly insulted, sanctioned and their generals slaughtered, of course the West will hold much contempt to such weak Russia.
> when China is world 3rd most powerful army
by which metrics?
In 1930-s China had an army larger than whole Japanese population, still small Japanese expedition complex was roaming around and killing as many Chinese as they wanted.
Weren’t Chinese patriotic? Oh, they were, they were dying for motherland, for Emperor, for Sun Yatsen and after him for Chang and for Mao.
Were they unarmed? No. They had technical-military support from both USA and Third Reich.
But then… Well… They just are not talentedi n killing and surviving.
Now, you may say this COULD change in 21st century. Yes, it could. But still that is waiting to be proven yet.
Until that i would see caims of Chinese military dominance with same bag of salt as claims of Russian economical dominance.
(Removed, insulting language.Do not insult fellow posters.MOD) Don’t dwell on past China that was weakened in civil war when Japan invaded.
Its openly known China is ranked world no3 in military power by every military analyst, including USM & Russia, who else you may dream of, India rag tag military or Japan with no nuke & comprehensive missile system, 24/7 capable nuke sub?
China is nuclear power, currently only 2 airforce operating 5th gen fighter plane J20 besides US F22(Russia is rushing its SU-56 which will add to China fleet later), 2nd largest navy still expanding with aircraft carriers rolling out, 3rd largest aerospace force able to launch manned space program & military satellites, independent Beidou GPS, proven abiliy to shoot down rivalry satellite, proven HQ9 & S400 air defense, No.1 largest standing army modernizing now. No.1 supercomputer for warfare. No.2 economy to sustain war, No.1 mfg to produce war material…only US is above in comprehensive war power, not even Russia which lacked economy scale & mfg capacity.
The Saker’s claim was “China military a dwaf comparing to Russia”, now you bring in India, Yapan and what not.
> Don’t dwell on past China
We can not look into the future, so past is the only reference point we have.
> China is nuclear power
When nukes fly conventional armies would not mater much, it would be world-global “On the beach”.
So i’d not considered nukes and other doomsday devices.
But if you do – China’s nuclear deterrent is significantly less than both Russian and Americam.
> operating 5th gen fighter plane J20 besides
You seem to be bent over fancy tech. I remind you that in 1930s both Third Reich and USA supported Chinese. I remind you that in 1941 USSR had most modern full-line of tanks (Light+Medium+Heavy) in the world. Still they both were catastrophically invaded by Japan and Germany. Then again, in 1945 USSR steamrolled over Japanese army in Mongolia and China, despite soviet Far East largle had outdated weaponry that was of no use for its main war with Germany. But experienced soldiers more than compensated for it.
But okay, so you like flashy tech…
J-20 gihters is a fancy mystery. The ones quickly hacking together discarded MiG prototype and discraded Israeli avionics. Without Chinese domestic production of reliable engines. Allegedly should be able of many-hours supersonic cruising, but was ti ever demonstrated? Were demo fights against rival’s pilots and aircrafts be done?
> SU-56 which will add to China fleet later
Do you think so? Even if Russia goes for it, why woud China? If their J-20 is so good – why waste money on Su-56?
Maybe J-20 is a worthy opponent, or maybe it is another F-35, which also was hacked together of discarded soviet and probably others’ too technologies. It all “remains to be seen”.
> 2nd largest navy still expanding with aircraft carriers rolling out
Good for them. I wonder when and on whom they would use those carriers.
> 3rd largest aerospace force
…with most designs based upon Soviet or American aircrafts on 1970-s
…with still no reliable fighter jet engines production
In June 1941 USSR has thosands and thousands of tanks.
In December 1941 amost all of them were abandoned in occupied lands, mostly due malfunctioning
> able to launch manned space program & military satellites
And, if it somehow shows their MILITARY capabilities, then Russia can do it too.
> independent Beidou GPS
BTW, i am not sure Beidou should be called a Global system, AFAIR it was designed to cover areas close to the Equator and has poor coverage of nohern lattitudes.
If we consider Chinese air carriers to be built a mean to “project power” far away from local shores – that is a mismatch.
> proven abiliy to shoot down rivalry satellite
Again, USSR did it loooong ago.
And, this point largely nullifies Beidou and “manned space”.
If the war goes as serious as shooting down satellites then in few days if not hours none of millitary satellite networks – Russian, Chinese, Americans – would remain functional.
> proven HQ9 & S400 air defense
1) not proven in real combat.
2) on of those is Russian. Come real war, Russia may on her descretion boost production for its own army. China can only hope Russia would be willing to boost produciton for China.
> No.1 largest standing army modernizing now.
Sure. Will it help their soldliers to fight? Of course.
Will it make their soldiers perform better than in 1930-s or than during Opium Wars?
Remains to be seen.
> No.2 economy to sustain war,
Economy targeted to produce western consumer goods for export.
But tanks do not shoot smartphones.
> No.1 mfg to produce war material
….out of raw materials they largely have to import from foreign lands, which make China sensitive to blockades.
In 1930-s China had an army larger than whole Japanese population, still small Japanese expedition complex was roaming around and killing as many Chinese as they wanted.
In the 1930s, China was already fighting a civil war between the Nationalists lead by Chiang Kai Shek and the Communists led by Zhou Enlai and Mao Zedong. (Remember that the Long March started in 1934.) Chiang always considered the Communists as the greatest threat; he regarded the Japanese as a minor nuisance.
Chiang was probably right — he lost the civil war and had to retreat to Taiwan (known as Formosa then). The Japanese never did much beyond committing some atrocities.
A truer measure of China’s military strength came in the 1950s, during the Korean war. China had just finished its civil war and was short of many things, especially weapons. Nevertheless, the war ended in stalemate. China is vastly stronger today and would definitely win if the U.S. invaded.
In 1917-1922 Russia “was already fighting a civil war” aggravated by invasion of foreign forces, be it Germany (ww1 adversary), Entente Cordiale states ( UK & France, ww1 nominal allies), Poland, USA and Japan.
And before that – Russia was exhausted by WW1 itself.
Still, by mid-1920s Russia pushed them all out. Having but no military and material help from outside.
> Chiang always considered the Communists as the greatest threat; he regarded the Japanese as a minor nuisance
I see, collaboartionist like Pavlov.
> The Japanese never did much beyond committing some atrocities.
Really, nothing to worry about.
Why Chinese self-proclaimed nationalist would ever care about millions murdered compatriots?
> in the 1950s, during the Korean war
….where USSR provided hi-tech part, like air cover and defense, and China provided numbers
if you map that war and the actors’ roles onto today Syria, USSR was Russia and then China was Hisbolla&Iran.
More so, even decade and a half later, when China attacked USSR in 1969, they sought to win with sheer numbers of soldiers, no matter if armed and trained well or not.
> China is vastly stronger today and would definitely win if the U.S. invaded.
And U.S. would win if China invaded.
More so, i think U.S. would also win if Russia invaded.
The chances of China or Russia invading the USA are ZERO. The chances of the USA invading either are non-trivial.
In the 1930’s, the USA had a weak volunteer army that barely numbered 100,000 or so soldiers.
Which just goes to show that military strength in the 1930’s has very little relevence to the situation in the world today.
To go further, in the 1930’s the planes flown by the US Army air corps were technologically deficit. When America got into WW2 , they found that their aircraft were junk and were getting shot out of the sky. The USA had to develope a new fleet of plane designs by 1943 to even compete in the air. But of course that does not mean that the US currently stinks at warplane design.
And again, I’m just making the point that the world in the 1930’s tells us absolutely nothing about the world today.
> military strength in the 1930’s has very little relevence to the situation in the world today.
I agree that military strength in the 2030’s would have much more relevance to today.
So if you have some solid data of 2030 please share.
Until then – past is what we have.
BTW, grand European invasions into Russia in 17th, 19th, 20th centuries followed similar hindsight patterns, so perhaps natinoal character as it represents itself in warfare may to some extent be extrapolaed from 1930-s.
> When America got into WW2 , they found that their aircraft were junk
Navy fighters maybe. But just look at terrain fighters (AirCobra, KingCobra – terrific machines!) and heavy/strategic bombers!
> the world in the 1930’s tells us absolutely nothing about the world today.
That is not so. Would it be so – mankind history would not mean a thing and no one but marginayl few freaks would try to keep it and learn it.
445, the Chinese have repeatedly declared that XI is leader for an extended period, NOT ‘Life’. THAT is a Western agit-prop assertion, nothing more.
At this time we are two seconds from catastrophe, just two seconds. The west will continue to escalate the manufactured political crisis, witness this morning Foggy Bottom complaining that Russia has escalated the crisis by removing a like number of American diplomats from Russia and closing the St. Pete facility. That is the same as if a street thug sucker punched you in the face and then complains to police and the media that you hurt his fist with your face. Hubris takes on a whole new meaning.
My thoughts are there is a very real danger of a serious false flag operation. Gas in Syria don’t mean squat, anyone with the common sense of a dead fly knows it’s all false. However, I would not put it past CehSha to literally sink one of their own ships in the Med and then scream that Russia did it. That’s where this horse feathers about some obscure convicted felon getting ‘poisoned’ by Russia is going, it’s laid the groundwork for more dastardly actions by those uncouth barbarians from Moskau who has already poisoned an obscure idiot who expressed a desire to ‘go home’ (perhaps this is the reason for the fake attempted murder?).
At this time the world situation is far more dangerous than in late July of 1914 and summer of 1939. Today CehSha, and Russia and Katai, have the weapons to end life on this planet. Will CehSha do it? She certainly seems to be heading in that direction and I can guaranty you Russia will not back down and will not surrender.
I can also guaranty you that Russia is doing everything she can except surrender to Foggy Bottom to avoid war, but the problem is that is the goal of CehSha, the total, complete and abject surrender of Russia. In a way it’s like the age old Hollywood plot of Mexican Standoff, two gunslingers looking at each other with guns drawn, ergo a fight is the death of both of them. Question is who will ‘back down’ first? Russia won’t and CehSha can’t.

yeah, they’ve been there done that. see USS Maddox or Lusitania.
Remember the Maine!!!!
The rallying cry of the US yellow-press that led to the Spanish-American war of the late 19th century. The event that led to T.Roosevelt’s charge of San Juan Hill (largely self-promoting propaganda of course), and eventually to the transfer of Cuba and the Phillipines from the Spanish sphere of influence to becoming essentially American colonies. The yellow-press which wanted to incite a war claimed that a ‘naval mine’ had been used by the dastardly Spanish to destroy the ship. Later investigators determined that it was more likely an internal explosion that blew up the ship in an accident. That of course was long after the US had the war that it wanted and had taken the colonies that it wanted.
As the Saker used in his article, a good predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour.
A quick search found this article, and there are likely better ones but this seems to get the gist of it.
I don’t think they will do a carrier, it’ll be either a trash hauler or an aging soon to be retired DD, aka light cruiser in everything but name. Anyone on one of this boats that has a lighter then usual crew should be worried, especially if it’s the ship’s last deployment.
they’ve been there done that. see USS Maddox or Lusitania.
You forgot the USS Liberty. Assuming that “they” refers to the Anglo-Zionist Empire.
western indifference to the truth is something very ancient coming, as it does, from the Middle-Ages: roughly when the spiritual successors of the Franks in Rome decided that their own, original, brand of “Christianity
-Haha, still struggling hard to invent conflicts between Russia and W.Europe I see.
I agree with you about the false flag event. Didn’t the Donald recently talk about uniting the American people, because he thought they were a divided country and that only a major event can unite them?
I think he did say something to that effect but don’t remember exactly what or when. Problem is what President Trump says and what DoS and Langley say are often diametrically opposed. Who is the boss at this moment? I think surely not the president, in my opinion he is a President imprisoned in a gilded cage.
Another problem is DoS and Langley are pushing for an event after which there won’t be much to unite in CehSha (США) for the next couple of eons.
The ‘Next New Pearl Harbor’, Alexandra, no doubt to be blamed on Iran, if I’m not mistaken. I’m sure MOSSAD has a number of potential scenarios mapped out already. Novichok in New York, anybody. Iran making Novichok, even if under OPCW supervision, is the perfect pretext to blame Tehran. Then Bibi the King of the Jews, can have his ‘New Purim’.
They blew up the twin towers, killed 3,000 US Americans. Whatever it takes…
Auslander, from the point of view of the ecological collapse Holocaust of Life on Earth, we are well past midnight. The world needs universal peace and global co-operation to survive this catastrophe, but as long as the Zionazis exist and demand ‘Full Spectrum Dominance’ over all the untermenschen, we have no hope.
I do think, though, that there are many people within the USSA swamp that actually believe the lies about Russia, in spite of the fact that they are so easily dismissed by the rational mind. Remember, we’re not dealing with rational actors here.
It’s also possible that a war could be averted in another way (besides Chinese intervention)-some disaster so large that attention is diverted away from the latest Russian farce because at that point resources that would otherwise be available for war must be used elsewhere. Here I refer to Black Swan events, especially of a financial nature, that could easily cause the Zionists to look inwardly to solve problems at home rather than trying to expand the empire even more…though the argument could be made that a catastrophic collapse of the dollar (which is unlikely but possible) would simply cause them to act even more precipitously. Still, I think it rather more likely that they’d pour their attentions onto restoring the dollar standard rather than foreign adventures in that scenario.
Another Black Swan (from the viewpoint of the Zionists) is Trump. They still don’t trust him, and with good reason. Sure he’s caved on many issues, but he’s also been a thorn in their side regularly. If he reaches out to Putin unexpectedly, it could still avert war, especially if the timing was right.
In any event, I’m not sure that the West would necessarily pay attention to China. They certain haven’t so far, and I’m not sure that the delusion hasn’t become so concrete that they think that even a united Eurasia is no threat to them.
“…there are many people within the USSA swamp that actually believe the lies about Russia”
Hard to tell right now. What we do know from polling was that the stories about “Russiagate” seemed to convince only the die-hard Hillary-bots in the Democratic Party. Polls showed that most Americans didn’t buy it, no matter how many stories in the MSM were run trying to convince them. Some of the smarter Democrats were making statement trying to urge the party to move on to better issues to use against Trump. Something like 70% of the American people have been telling pollsters that they didn’t believe in the Russiagate fable,
At this time, its a mistake to connect what the MSM constantly says with what the American people actually believe.
But, its hard to tell right now. The American people do tend to be a bit more gullible on foreign policy issues. The problem with the Russiagate fable was that most Americans knew they didn’t like Hillary so it wasn’t hard for them to imagine that Hillary lost fair and square without any nefarious influence from Russia. Remember, half of the Democrats wanted a different nominee. Hillary won that battle through corruption and rigging the process so in the fall election at best half the Democrats only voted for Hillary while holdiing their nose.
With the current propaganda, its too early to really tell. Americans are more gullible on foriegn policy. But a propaganda bliztkrieg only has a relatively short term effect. The propaganda did seem to convinces a slim majority to support the Iraq War at the time, but within just a couple of years a bigger majority was telling pollsters that they wanted the wars to end and for the troops to come home and the money to be spent at home.
There is generally a great deal of disbelief towards what the MSM is saying in America. Americans have been shifting towards getting their ‘news’ from other sources. Since the MSM was telling everyone to vote for Hillary and that Hillary was sure to win, the very fact of Hillary’s defeat shows the waning power of the MSM.
> The propaganda did seem to convinces a slim majority to support the Iraq War at the time,
> but within just a couple of years a bigger majority was telling
Irrelevant. Two years later no one cares what you “are telling” – the war is achieved.
I know even persons knowing how USA foreign policy was criminal in Serbia, Libya and Syria – they still bought bait, hook and sinker about “democratic Ukrainian revolution” and “Putin’s fearing example of free peope” and “Crimea grab”.
More so, when i asked if they could miss the video Crimeans welcoming and cherishing Berkut coming home – they said US media showed it. And it made obvious how corrupt and violent Crimeans were towards freedom-seeking Ukrainians.
Oh, sure, “two years later” they sarted noticing somethgin wrong with EuroMaidan – exactly when they were allowed to notice, because it no more meant a thing if they know or not.
US domestic propaganda works perfectly.
remember when obama approved that law allowing domestic propaganda?
nothing will change until that one is repealed.
USA is in a warfare state for long in this wwww…
Thanatopia has been a ‘warfare state’ since 1620, or thereabouts. Mostly a ‘slaughter and genocide state’, but they do love calling themselves ‘warriors’ as they clean the blood of squaws and papooses from off their bayonets.
My favourite lunatic propaganda trope is the calling of the fascist putsch in Kiev ‘The Revolution of Dignity’. Up there with ‘Arbeit macht frei’.
“US domestic propaganda works perfectly.”
That is a perfectly true statement. But it’s important to also note that, while propaganda is a great tool to motivate the masses, it is not an absolutely necessary tool for unnecessary wars that don’t require large numbers of cannon fodder.
It is a fact that the majority of the USA’s people did not want to enter WWI, WWII, or Vietnam, a place most could not find on the world map…but that didn’t stop any of those wars. In fact, there is no longer even the pretext of legality regarding a formal declaration of war anymore (the last declared war was WWII).
My point is, what the people want or don’t want is seen as important only so as to use poll numbers to justify wars and to quell the possibility of embarrassing protest marches. But it is not critical for the masses to support the war effort. Not at all. The wars will proceed in any event.
Many people, myself included, voted for Trump because of the bellicose nature of HR Clinton’s hawkish foreign policy. Trump espoused a more isolationist policy, then almost immediately turned to war as soon as he got in office, in spite of his dovish rhetoric before the election, the people’s will be damned. Yes, I still think he’s better than she would have been, but not by a long shot-only marginally so.
The nature of politics in the USA is so deeply infested by Zionism at this point that no mere election will fix anything anymore. I should have known that, because it is a conclusion I came to long ago. It’s just that I wanted to believe so badly that Trump was an outsider, his own man, the guy who didn’t need to kowtow to the Zios…yes, I know, rather naive of me, but remember, us proles only get their chance to vote once every 4 years. After that, we are no longer listened to, and everyone just winks and nods at the lies told to gain office. It is a sick cynical system that has long ago lost the support of most of the people.
I do not think that many people supported our adventures either before or after the fact, as I don’t rust the polls, which are all politically biased. But I also don’t think it matters at all what the people want.
Honestly it’s the true believers that you have to fear more. They are actually willing to go all the way to war because they believe in the righteousness of their cause..whereas the cynics would fold pretty quickly if the going got rough for them personally.
Like you say, it’s hard to tell who believes what anymore. There are just too many irrational actors, paid shills, true believers, foreign agents, and just plain stupid people in the mix.

The only problem is that many of these countries are paid with suitcases of dollares and are exposed to the usual financial threats plus smearing campaigns in MSM.
Just see how Nikki Haley is making threats “to take names” on everybody with the slightest critical voice in UN.
But yes China could do a much better job to gather forces and make the Anglo Empire much more exposed in for example UN.
It was noticeable that immediately after Nutty Nikki made her threats and her statement about ‘taking names’, that most of the nations in the General Assembly went ahead and voted against the US position anyways. And that in typical fashion, America has largely failed to follow through on such threats (so far).
Interesting time is coming: https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses/979413862205321217
‘Serbia has provoked Pristina by sending several fighter jets (Soko J-22s Orao thanks @TheAviationist) over Preševo area.’
Preševo is in Serbia and so is Priština!
So, plane flies over sovereign Serbian territory.
The adagio is familiar though…
If Serbia would manage to weasel between raindrops in the storm coming, then it would definitely become a trade hub of all Asia (mostly China and Russia) for the self-isolating Western Europe :-D
China could remind some of the Anglo-Zio vassal states in Europe, like for instance The Netherlands, or Germany for that matter, that it is about time to shift allegiance. Then others would follow and the ‘Atlantic’ delusion would come to an end and be replaced by a continental mirage. Even the French might come over, which would leave the Brexit Brits out in the cold.
Impossible. The Netherlands, Germany and France are full-spectrum assets of the Jewish Mafia.
Saker, could you tell us the state of the US’s Northern Distribution Network to Afghanistan, and whether Russia has any leverage over the US on that score. The US could pull out of Afghanistan with only damage to its pride, so I doubt anything Russia could do will make much difference, but I am still hoping to they can find a course that avoids WW3. I agree, it looks imminent.
Impossible. Afghanistan is a Jewish Mafia $ 1 trillion heroin trading hub, distributed via Jewish Mafia’s NATO army bases.
And Starbucks is a Jewish plot. Sheesh.
Quite possibly. ;-) Poisoning goyim with disgusting brown dirty sock extract while emptying goy wallets. Having tried their sock water once I knew for sure that it was a plot and will never ever again drink any of their barf. :-)
America’s business model is mostly based on creating and selling additions – coffee, sugar, Big Pharma – like the old Opium War.
Smr, Palloy was making sense. The Northern route is the U.S.’s last route into Afghanistan, and might be closed by now. Is it?
I am heartened to see that Japan, at least so far, is not joining the move to expel Russian diplomats. I think they feel they have a lot at stake with their relationship with Russia at this time. My overall impression is on average the Japanese have a better impression of Russia than they did even three or four years ago. During prime time, we still see western propaganda–the CIA runs Japan, but late night/early morning, the media present other views.
unfortunately most Japanese do not know Russia (
I judge from the rollers in the south tube
and Japan still raises the question of the so-called “NORTHERN TERRITORIES”
sadly, I have to disagree. I am a big fan of Japanese culture and go there 1-2 times each year. I’m fluent in Japanese and have talked to thousands of Japanese at various occasions on Russia and other political topics.
while the intellectual/scientific elite do indeed generally have a very sober and realistic view of things, clearly understand that they are just a lapdog (“kai-inu”) of the US, and most definitely do not want a conflict with Russia, the vast majority doesn’t really have much of a clue, and the mainstream media run largely the same type of propaganda as in the US or Europe. maybe you watch more JP TV and can point out some examples of where “other views” were shown? because I haven’t noticed much of that in recent years.
But what is more of importance, Taiga? Those simple Japaneese, caring not to know and acting like the three Monkeys embodied? Or Japanese ruling elites “with sober view” ?
Japan needs energy. They need charcoal from N-Korea, they need pan-Asian joint electricity loop.
They also need proxy wars hapening somewhere far far away form them.
They need Korea to remerge.
They only can not do it because of US occupation, but since US is cleary getting more and more weak and incompetent, for how long they would be loyal?
Although Putin is quite the chess player, IMNSHO, he failed big time in allowing Yanukovych to flee Ukraine, instead of providing him protection in his own country. Yanukovych fled shortly before the Sochi Winter Olympics ended.
I think Putin would be wise to delegate any hosting duties, and disappear – for heightened security reasons – during the duration.
Given the choice between spoiling the FIFA tournament for Russia, vs. using the FIFA tournament distraction to attempt another event of Ukraine-like significance, I think evil Westerners would opt for the latter. Partly because of a greater (evil) opportunity, and partly because recent history suggests they’re more likely to get away with it.
It probably wouldn’t hurt to have a high level Russian general in Iran, during the duration, either.
> instead of providing him protection in his own country
IOW turning pro-American Yanukovich into a true dictator only sitting in power due to occupational Russian Army.
Oh, Yanukovich would probablly like it. And Clinton-Obama would like it too.
But what would it make good for Russia to get itself another Afghanistan?
The idea was to weather the manufactured crisis, not to establish “an occupational Russian Army”.
This is like an idea to stop ship from sinking by pumping out the water ONCE but without atching the holes.
If Yanukovich did not want to rule his land and protect the law and order – and he did not, no sincere and serious attempt he made – then nothing would keep him from falling yet again short of PERSISTENT Russian occupation and PERSISTENT purges of Yanukovich’s opponents by Russian securities.
The man can be vertical if he either stands or is held by someone’s string hand.
Yanukovich did not want to stand firm.
Russia did not wanted to gold him up and be responsible to whatever he was and will be doing.
And here I thought he fled for his life, basically because of a manufactured coup, complete with snipers that targeted both the Maidan protesters, as well as government forces.
I’m not very well versed on the political dynamics of Ukraine – then or now – but my belief remains that he was toppled mostly because of an engineered coup.
If you want to convince me otherwise, it’ll take a lot more than theoretical arguments and analogies.
During EuroMaidan there were a number of moments where mostly unarmed policemen were on the verge of dispercing the EuroMaidan – and they always were called back before it happenned.
There was no military in Kiev (compare with Yeltsin vs Duma in 1993)
The person, who arranged “night beating of students” was Yanukovich’s wingman – and Yanukovich dared not to fire him, not mentioning going as extreme as pressing legal charges.
“Engineered coup”, bah! What a novelty! For centuries every now and then kings and governments are targeted by coups. However how do they react to those? Just compare Yanukovich with Gaddafi and Asad, who also had euromaidans engineered against them.
> he was toppled mostly because of an engineered coup.
It is kind of saying someone died because a piece of lead entered his brains.
This is only the tiny latest moment, a tautology.
Relevant things happenned before and around.
Yes, Yanukovich was facing an open coup, and what did he do about it? Appeased it by sacrificing anti-maidan folks (like PM Azarov )and promoting pro-maidan folks ( like to-be-PM Yatzenyuk ).
And this pro-american spineless ragdoll should had been given Russian army to do laundry works across Ukraine that he himself procrastinated?
Even a bad leader is better than chaos. Except for political dissidents, wasn’t Iraq better off under Sadaam Hussein?
The instability in Ukraine has led to it being looted, divided, and armed by foreigners. In a worst case scenario, it will join NATO. This is a very bad outcome for Russia.
As certain benefits accrued to Russia – annexation of Crimea, influx of Russians from Ukraine, and demonstration of yet another failed state resulting from Western intervention, the thought has occurred to me that maybe Russia did not help Yanukovych survive because they considered the current outcome partly acceptable, partly desirable. Perhaps the best they could hope for, with little risk of immediate warfare.
I suppose, too, anticipation of the super duper weapons announced on March 1 made NATO encroachment less threatening.
If Yanukovych is a “pro-American spineless ragdoll”, why is he in Russia, and not in the US? Also, do you believe he would have rejected military aid from Russia to weather the storm? As Ukraine doubtless has an army, I’m thinking military aid in the form of special forces acting partly as body guards, partly as interdicting coup plotters and their snipers.
The Roman emperors used to employ Germans for their imperial guard. I had in mind something temporary, and more like this, not a Russian military deployment.
The Russians and Chinese are playing trump and his zionazi owners.
You’re usually brilliant, so please explain this, as it makes no sense to me. They’re playing him and his owners? How so?
I do not think it is a coincidence the same month China starts selling oil in yuan we see the UK false flag and intensified sabre rattling. The US has been doing this for some time and I expect it to continue. Russia continues to stand firm. Let the economic changes work through the system and continue to weaken America. If an attack occurs in Syria, respond with the Syrian military and use the plausible deniability of the Syrian military defending its sovereign territory. You can use the Pantsir system to knock down some US aircraft. Use Hezebollah to attack Israel. Occupy the Donbass and Luhansk republics. Watch Trump’s base turn against him and then hold firm.
The conflict would be a short one as the US would become highly chaotic. I think the Pantsir systems would put just enough pain into the US air force to make them stop. The US could sell a victory without actually achieving one.
Russia forces might suffer a pounding in Syria, but it might be for the long term betterment of the situation.
I could see a situation where any loss of American lives is blamed on Trump incompetence and the deep state uses it to impeach/assassinate/expel Trump and trigger a new election somehow.
China inflicting economic pain at the same time might really cause domestic issues for the US that could undermine an American war effort as well. the more I think about this, the more vulnerable the US appears.
The overthrow of Putin, the insertion of a New Yeltsin, and the vivisection of Russia into a string of Western controlled vassal states, ripe for pillage and ‘austerity’ inflicted on the untermenschen, is but the prelude to the real Imperial Project, the most vital in all the Western global Empire’s entire history-the destruction of China. The Western Exceptionals have never faced the threat of being outdone economically, socially, educationally and scientific/technologically, therefore militarily, as they are by China. Russia and China together can wait out the West’s imminent collapse, then create a peaceful global multi-polar order with the Western successor states, but divided they will both fall into mega-Libyas.
I think there is over-reaction:
First, forget Europe, or NATO; within minutes they will capitulate – and certain countries, for example Germany, are ambivalent anyway. The US underestimates how much the rest of the world detests them. Didn’t a recent NATO report conclude that Russia could overrun Europe in 2 days in a conventional war. In a real war, as I say, faced with immediate destruction they would capitulate.
The UK has, possibly, one Trident submarine at sea. They need US approval to fire their obsolete missiles. I wouldn’t want to be on that sub when it goes hot.
No Asian countries will do anything; Japan is neutralised by China; Australia has nothing. India and Pakistan would be neutral at best, but probably with Russia. Iran will deal with the Middle East – I’m sure they have been well resourced by Russia.
So the US is on its own. The much vaunted US spend on defense delivers little. Spent on funding 1000 bases around the world, but not on military advancement. Quantity not quality. Simply, they are out-gunned. Politically and socially, they are not cohesive for a full on war.
The US is in its final throws economically and militarily, but just can’t admit it. Two recent examples of weakness: Trump says he now wants to avoid an arms race (translation: the US lost); Trump says they are exiting Syria (translation: defeat).
We are very fortunate that there are sensible leaders in Russia and China who do not now want to exploit this.
The attack could be a message to spyes, oligarchs and other anti-russian criminals that Russia will always find you. That could be the reason for using a substance pointing at Russia.
@ Börjesson Your idea is so stupid that people will doubt your sincerity … or your sobriety, whichever.
If Russia wanted to “send a message”, as you propose, then they would do the killings in an entirely different way, which only a sophisticated person could recognize as having a “tell” that would trace back to Russia. An example of how the professionals do it was the staged “suicide” of Gary Webb, the journalist who exposed the CIA running cocaine into the US. The message was given by this signature “tell”: Webb was shot in the head, not once, but twice, with a powerful (.38 Special) revolver, fired double action with a long heavy trigger pull. Hard trick to get off that second shot, when your brain is already gone from the first shot. Fools can believe anything, but journalists realized they were being warned to stay away from the CIA’s secrets.
So if people whom Moscow hated, were dying from falling pianos, dubious “heart attacks”, etc. etc., then the would-be double-agents would get the message. Moscow would not use Novochuk because then the message would get lost amid the UK’s predictable and massive propaganda campaign. Let me simplify it for you: the first rule for assassins is to not let the blood spatter onto oneself.
Rutger, I hope you will be thinking more clearly in the morning.
I still think my idea is plausible idea. We also must discuss other ideas than those from chauvinistic Russians or one eyed prorussians.
If I’ll l guess, it’s a false flag created by UK, US, or Israel.
The East doesn’t really need to do anything special. At this point the Soros lands are irrevocably tearing themselves apart. “Allies” are trying to find the exit door before the whole mess explodes. The best thing Putin can do is continue to be an ADULT AND SANE leader who is serving the interests of an ADULT AND SANE country.
Sane people and sane countries can see the difference. As “allies” peel away, the psychotic Sorosians are left with a smaller and smaller empire, and smaller and smaller support within their own countries. They can cover up the internal loss, but they can’t cover up entire countries escaping from the madhouse.
Where’s the “like” button?
My sister, who graduated summa cum laude from Wellesley, now a retired professor living in Manhattan, who reads the NY Times religiously, sincerely believes that Putin is guilty of all charges listed in #1. She is typical of most of the academics that I work with at a mid-western University.
When the propaganda is delivered in a constant, unending daily stream by the “papers of record”, it seems to provide unassailable proof to most of those who read it. I personally cannot understand this, as I am trained as a scientist, but frankly, I have lost hope that there is anything short of the Second Coming that can cure it.
It’s to be expected – Your sister is intelligent but completely ‘one dimensional’ !
The the desired outcome of OBE ( outcome based education) !
They can’t handle the truth – so they ignore it !
I believe there is a “tipping point”. Either you believe what the media and the government say, or you don’t. For the first 60 or so years of my life (or more precisely from about 10 to 60) I believed them. As for so many others, it was the Second Iraq War that made me see the light – the lies were so obvious.
Little time as I have for Hollywood, I think the film “The Matrix” hit a number of nails squarely on the head. Its colourful scenario of a world of unconscious people dreaming a wholly false reality is a marvellous parable – as is the idea of the red pill and the blue pill. Take one, and return to supine, comfortable illusion. Take the other, and be committed to face reality in all its difficult, painful and perhaps terrifying immediacy.
I suspect that millions of people who claim to believe the government line know very well – in their shallow subconscious, perhaps – that it is untrue. But they lack the courage (or perversity) to reason things out.
“I suspect that millions of people who claim to believe the government line know very well – in their shallow subconscious, perhaps – that it is untrue. But they lack the courage (or perversity) to reason things out.”
My friend, I agree 100% with this statement. For example I’m sure there are many in the US who know the “official” 9/11 story is complete baloney, but if they question it, it would open up a world of uncertainty that they’re not willing to deal with. They have been taught that the people in the middle east “hate us because we have freedom, and democracy.” That’s a whole lot easier to swallow then the reality as you and I know it.
If you want another fascinating example of the fact you bought up in the above quote. Check this one out, because it bugs the hell out of me. So I used to frequent some of the evangelical youtube channels that were usually closet Zionists. So half the time they are talking about Israel, and how blessed and holy it is, and we have to pray for them or God will strike us with a bolt of lightning. At the same time the so called pastor of these channel’s will also bring up the Rothschild’s, deep state, bankers, and other Zionist affiliated stooges. So I would always call people out in the comment section for this blatant contradiction. I would ask them how can you curse the Rothschild’s, and yet bless Israel? Talk about a forked tongue. Then I would post the entire Balfour declaration and explain to them how the Rothschild’s were one of the prime movers for the creation of the modern state of Israel. As soon as I would post this I would hardly ever get a response back. Just goes to show you, sometimes the people in the top put the shackles on a population, and sometimes the population puts the shackles on voluntarily.
Absolutely, Ahmed. They love their chains.
Why? Well, it’s what they are most familiar with and therefore comfortable with.
The Hamlet Problem.
They would rather be killed by what they know will kill them than Face the Unknown, which is far more terrifying to them than death itself.
Sometimes tragedy verges on comedy.
isn’t the purpose of religion and other totalitarianism / marketing to make you believe in and love imaginary chains?
That – and to think you are bad, something is wrong with you, you are guilty of something you have not done (similar to Russia and imaginary poisoning). You desperately need help from others – priests, kings and other ‘well meaning and superior totalitarians, … (like Russia needs ‘help’ from the ‘superior’ UK to show it the real way – the Yeltsin way)…
You can never be as good as saints (in the past) or celebrities (today) – so don’t even try to be confident and/ or free or collaborative with (god forbid) other free and confident people…(I’ve met many celebrities while I lived in LA and London – most are dumb, shy and drug addicts)
Imaginary friends are everything – you are nothing.
And while you are there – don’t stand straight and proud – bend over to your knees and submit, kiss rings etc…slavery is freedom and vice-versa.
Just look around -everyone is doing it – so must you
I think most people don’t love their chains – they are just full of fear that if they admit they are wrong – their whole life will collapse.
As per their totalitarian brainwashing they have been exposed to since birth.
Also I forgot – while we are at it – let’s chop off your foreskin – just so you remember you are not even in charge of your own body- slave…
As I see it, most folks follow world events with about as much interest as they would have for a sport
they do not like. They might have heard of some big star, and would know the name of the team in the city near them, but that’s it. Same with the events unfolding. Putin is cast as the bad guy and something is happening but what should an average person do anyway? The great engine of propaganda (the MSM) always seems to be able to confuse and distract any difficulties and inconsistencies away.
I would be interested in knowing exactly what she thinks the US government should do about this situation. Even assuming all these allegations are true. My guess would be that she would be quite surprised by the suggestion that these charges should result in the US going to war with Russia.
Personally, I don’t believe there is any intent for a war with Russia. The propaganda itself provides strong clues. During the Soviet times the enemy was always “the Russians” or “the Soviet Union” or “the commies” or “the Evil Empire”. The enemy was never personified as “Brezhnev” or whomever. The fact that the enemy is always President Putin personally shows a lot about the ultimate goals. Simply put, the goal is the removal of President Putin. All the aggressive actions by the US or NATO are better seen as an attempt to force a coup resulting in his removal.
So, if they succeed in removing President Putin, do you think the push for war would stop? I don’t think so.
Well, I would say this depends on who replaces President Putin. If his successor continues to pursue Russian sovereignty then the same policies will no doubt persist. But the West appears to want the same situation as pertained in the 90s. That is, complete control of Russia’s financial markets and resource base. Russia should do everything possible to resist being returned to that situation. Moreover, many of the changes that were implemented during that time such as the incorporation of the Russian Central Bank into the BIS system persist and should be rolled back. Nevertheless, the US does not have the capability to wage a land war in Russia. So assuming Russia can maintain an appropriate strategic defense, war is not too likely.
I do find the situation in Syria very concerning though. Russia has inserted their own military rather than simply use military trainers and advisors and upgrades of the Syrian military. This puts the Russian troops in a very dangerous situation, It is possible that war between the US and Russia could escalate from that situation.
Russian military are human shield for Syrian/Iranian military from NATO Libya-like invasion
all my friends in England (most studied at Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial College) believe everything they see on TV – they all think Putin and Russia are very, very bad and were all rabidly pro-Hilary. And pro Zionists
I have never heard any of them ever say anything very bright or original.
But most of them have learned how to talk with the exaggerated/ catatonic English accent that is so highly valued by Anglosheeple.
The same goes for friends from harvard, MIT and UCLA, Princeton and Yale.
A couple of years ago I spoke to a few friends from LSE, Imperial etc – a few of us with a few degrees each – and we all agreed we haven’t really learned anything useful while studying at these famous universities.
Even worse – it took me a decade to forget all the Friendman, predatory crony capitalist BS I had to learn while there
Strange thing for some in engineering and science. Many deal in the type of rationality required to solve repeatable and limited state machines. They are more like mechanics. Rational thinking about human events requires a good amount of skepticism in the face of unverified claims. In some fields there is no challenging the received heterodoxy. With human affairs acts of logical questioning requires thinking outside the constant assertions of authority. Why for example, did it take a deadly military grade nerve agent four hours to effect its victims with no discernible effect on first responders? But you are right, under the constant and relentless assertions of the establishment Western media, there is no room for anything except acceptance.
‘Intelligence’ and gullibility is a deadly mixture. Of course, your sister is probably a coward, fearful to go against the mob, a true manifestation of ‘Western Moral Values’. I really find it hard to imagine a more conformist society than the USA, a state reinforced by constant brainwashing, and truly vicious sanctions for Thought Crime. I remember committing Bad Think at high school, here in Austfailure, in an age when the ability to speak outside ‘accepted wisdom’ was orders of magnitude greater than it is now, when we live under a basically totalitarian One Party, the Party of the rich owners of society, state, and seeing either anger, disbelief or a repressed agreement in the eyes and the body language of my teachers. The conformity was great, but today, believe me, in politics, the fakestream media, business etc, it is total and totalitarian.
No chance. This paradigm is not ruled by rational thought. This paradigm is scheduled to breakdown.

Jake intends Armageddon.
If one understands that Armageddon is the goal then you might have dome chance of avoiding it.
The rich hide themselves in caves and holes in the ground seeking to hide themselves but there is no place to hide on the dark and terrible day of the Lord.
If it is any consolation, Trump appears willing to withdraw from Syria:
Of course that doesn’t mean the military will not try to override his plans!
the State Dept has already said they don’t know anything about that and that Trump is basically “out of line”. and, as experience so far has shown, in the end it’s the establishment that will prevail, not Trump.
and Macron of Franks is willing to take Trump’s place there
Ah yes, “My country, right or wrong!”
What an interesting text on which to preach…
My favourite improvement on the basic saying is this:
‘The Senator from Wisconsin cannot frighten me by exclaiming, “My country, right or wrong.” In one sense I say so too. My country; and my country is the great American Republic. My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right’.
– Major-General Carl Schurz, 1872
“I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just. His justice cannot sleep forever”.
– Thomas Jefferson, 1785
“‘My country, right or wrong,’ is a thing that no patriot would think of saying except in a desperate case. It is like saying, ‘My mother, drunk or sober.'”
– G. K. Chesterton, “The Defendant” http://www.online-literature.com/chesterton/the-defendant/16/
“Patriotism, n. Combustible rubbish ready to the torch of any one ambitious to illuminate his name. In Dr. Johnson’s famous dictionary patriotism is defined as the last resort of a scoundrel. With all due respect to an enlightened but inferior lexicographer I beg to submit it is the first”.
– Ambrose Bierce, “The Devil’s Dictionary”
The US has but two military means to ultimately force its will upon the world – its nuclear deterrent and its carrier strike forces which are in reality its only means of projecting power across the oceans. On both counts Russia and China have assessed this properly and have developed the means to completely destroy all carrier strike forces within hours and present an offensive nuclear capability that the US has no defense against.
Therefore, any escalation path the US takes will place the US in clear and present danger of losing its ability to project power and ultimately, should the escalation continue, complete annihilation.
If the US attacks in Ukraine or Syria or Iran, the first choice for the Russians would be to return the attack locally. If this escalated, which it would, then Russia could destroy one carrier fleet in the Mediterranean region – presumable the one launching the missiles. This would present the US with a very critical choice – again escalate in revenge, or at last back off and seek peace. In such a case Russia would provide the means to back off with little loss of face if necessary. But if the US escalated again, Russia could destroy all carrier strike forces, leaving the US with no other option but to use its strategic forces. This time the US would face its greatest challenge – back off or destroy the world.
What would be its decision?
“US would face its greatest challenge – back off or destroy the world. What would be its decision?”
This is the main question.
Do the Deep State leaders care for the people ? Of course not, the 9/11 has proven it. And they are dreaming of a 500 million earthlings world anyway. These leaders care only for their own life and their family’s, at best. Therefore, the best (only?) way to deter them is to let them know that a “salted” nuclear warhead is dedicated to each of them, wherever they’ll try to hide on the Planet. If this warning has been issued by Russia, which I hope, then MAD (mutual assured destruction) is for real and nuclear escalation is a dead-end. If nuclear escalation is impossible, then Russia can do whatever she wants, bombing US bases in Syria and even sinking US ships. Empires and tyrannies have always ended by military humiliation (with few exception, like the USSR). Russia can and should humiliate the US militarily.
Concerning China, countries do not have friends, they have only circumstantial allies or vassals. China would benefit from the mutual destruction of NATO countries and Russia. China would then become the undisputed king of the world. Thus, I would not bet on her support of Russia in this war.
> These leaders care only for their own life and their family’s, at best.
what I personally dont understand is how can they even remotely assure that? even if they all hole themselves up with their immediate families in a bunker in some desert far off any strategic target, they can’t realistically do that for their whole extended family+friends like brothers, sisters, parents, children, nephews, nieces, friends etc. many of those will be in the large agglomerations like NY, LA, Boston, SF, etc – and those will be wiped out entirely without question. all carrier groups are quite likely to be wiped out instantly, too, so gone will be the means of “force projection”, as well.
not just that, but the whole economy will instantly collapse, and people remaining alive will be basically doing armed scavenging for food within weeks around the still-radioactive glass deserts.
not a world I’d want to live in, honestly.
However, in addition to the very vulnerable aircraft carriers and surface ships, there are the submarines which have the ability to send hundreds of nuclear warheads to Russia and/or china. Unless those are also neutralized, and remember we are talking about a military loaded with Dominionist Armageddon loving Dr. Strangeloves, even if the surface fleets are gone, it would almost certainly result in the use of submarine based missiles, given the mindset.
There is a certain quality reminiscent of the German Nibelungenlied, a death wish/suicide as some sort of glorious end, which makes this all the more serious.
You missed the point of Putin’s speech. It is not the power of the US offensive capability, no matter the number of submarines, missiles, strategic bombers, that should be of interest to the US. It is the unfettered ability of Russia to strike back no matter what kind of defense America puts up that will now dominate military discussions and strategy from this point. Of course the US can destroy Russia, but now the Americans know that a devastating Russian response can not be stopped. Until March 1, the Americans thought otherwise.
This is why Russia can now afford to cut back on its military spending over the next few years. They don’t need an arms race. The race is already over. No one can win – and that’s the point.
However, the strictly defensive doctrine puts Russia in a weaker position. First strike gives more options (you call the shots, when and how). 2nd strike response also puts lot of responsibility on making that decision, that takes away the crucial response time. Even Putin would twitch and pause before making such a decision, it’s an unenviable position simply. Hence, I’m not sure that first-strike (from RF) is off the books entirely. Many ignore that option, I wouldn’t. Which on its own could trigger the more ‘trigger happy’ USA in case of a false positive.
For the same reasons, I’m pretty sure that RF considers and prepares defensive options equally, but talks about the offensive deterrents only. That could be the electronic warfare, lasers and S500 and more that Russia is good at. Even the first strike might be dead in the water. Anyway, first hours (or minutes) will be crucial, that may be the ‘test shot’ and the second-response after that may be even more important.
I hope this remains just speculative though, it’s really hard to simulate these scenarios for real.
In other words, the US and the UK (allied even in hell) have only two options: 1) retract and negotiate, or 2) go ahead and destroy the whole world for nothing.
Russia has the military superiority; China has the economic superiority; and both Russia and China have the moral superiority, as well.
If the US and the UK really wanted a war, I think that they would have already started it; so, I bet they will soon start negotiating with Russia and China.
They have already. Without weapons. They also have the weak Euro nations tagging on, reluctantly, on their shit-stained coat-tails.
Ok, so…..one makes sci fi movies and movie props about traveling outer space…..and the other one is actually traveling into space? And the movie props country is better????
That’s the way they see it.
Eventually, reality catches up.
Terrible is truth, the text is excellent, of course. Thou, I must admit, rare are those texts where even I have no single objection, but that’s our Saker.
Well, after the sleepless night (one in a row), I must write what bother me, since beside this global problem Saker described, we Serbs have our own, to say – our local problem (to be watched and read on Net whole night), but equally terrible for us. And, I have reason to be concerned that problem is (more than more) connected with specified Biggest one, Russia. Now I will try to explain why I think so.
I fully agree with Saker’s view, that Hegemon has zero chance to defeat Russia, of course.
According to that, IMHO, tactic of the beast is: using the tactic of the jackals, try to drain Russia; attacking from all sides and biting anywere, when the opportunity arises. Let us see: Georgia, Caucasus, Ukraine, Syria, Scripal, solidarity … It become clear to me, that Serbia will most probably become latest such a “weak part”, where Russia is challenged to open a new front, and will potentially bleed in near future.
What leads me to such conclusion?!
Namely, the problem of (non)accept to the renunciation of the occupied part of Serbia, called ”Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija” has begun to escalate exponentially those days. Of course, you all know that our occupier is the same Hegemon that tortures the whole planet. Šiptar-s (we call them so, because they themselves use that name, thou ethnically Albanians) just use them a favorable opportunity; but, without a “back support” they would not even dare to try. Otherwise, they are not being asked of anything, all their decisions are told them by Big Brother. Believe or not, on April 2011. they got envelope from Big Brother, and name of next president of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, written inside. Problem was, nobody of them in charge knew that person, and they had ”situation”, to find and identify her.
Although the absolute majority of the Serbian people realize that currently for us ‘frozen conflict’, is not only best, but only solution; that passing time is working for us, and that in some future time we will have a far better opportunity for the ‘final solution’; yet our authoritarian President Vucic, inexplicable hurries to get some kind of compromise solution, as soon as possible. But, it become apparent those last couple days, why such an illogical behavior.
Obviously, Hegemon ‘got him in hands’, pulls his strings, and now became clear why is he brought couple years ago to power: with obvious intention of using him for the destruction of ”little Russ”, as they rightfully see, considering many sincere fraternal relations with the Russian people, for centuries.
Five years of duplicity, caught on ‘European Integration’, with the populist slogan ‘The European Union has no alternative’, finally warned by his annonimous mentor that he and Serbia can not ”sit on two chairs”, i.e. be with both Russia and the EU. Well, bound by the obligation (obviously) to sign finally the “legally binding agreement” with the Siptars, he brought us to a terribly bad situation. And else, it become so obvious that Hegemon is in a hurry too. They want to bring us down, urgently, since we are last spot on ”West Balkan” (new clasification) that resists them. After that – via Russia. ”Drang nach Osten”.
Now, how can I conclude, it matters Russia (and all of you, consequently)? Namely, it become quite clear, that Hegemon, who double-crossed my idiotic, pompous, omniscient president, does not want to give him a whip of compromise. After five years of negotiating, giving over all prerogatives over North Kosovo (Brussels agreement, 2013), he did not get one single thing to offer to the poor Serbs. Nothing to present as success of a pernicious long-standing idiotic policy.
Three days ago, Šiptars succeeded to enormously humiliate the State of Serbia, brutally beating and arresting the official Serbian negotiator Marko Djurić, as well as minister in the so-called ” Kosovo Government Nenad Rikalo too, and people present at the gathering, TV crews, even women.
President Putin, of course, expressed his support by telephone, as much as he can at this moment. The eyes of all Serbs are directed towards him, and he knows it.
And that was what Hegemon wanted, I am pretty sure, and that is what I’m worried about.
P.S. I apologize for my poor Google-Translate English.
Radomir D. Ristić, d.i.g.
Dear Serbia, we pray and cry for you. Truly a terrible situation for your nation.
A great test of Faith.
The Hegemon must fall for you to be free again.
You should have faith in your brothers Serbs. I know, that upper level in Serbia stinks of treason (Vucic?), but look at what Serbs did in WWI and WWII. You can’t be beat. All you need is good men at the top. Maybe, just maybe the Greeks will ditch their treasonous communist gang at the top and stand with you.
Your information is very good! (it seems to me)
There is no information AT ALL in the English news (that I know of), about the situation in Serbia.
And… they‘ve used Serbia before…
World wars only happen when the Jewish Mafia has a secure enough hold on all actors as seen in WW1 and WW2. This is not the case with current Russia led by Putin. Therefore we won’t see WW3 just how. The real dangers come from the ‘soft power’ angle.
Obvious and mission critical options for team Putin:
– create an internet alternative where free media from all over the world can be hosted
– ban G5 cell phone towers in Russia (currently being built busily all over the world, incl. Russia and China)
– support China, Iran, Syria, etc. to go GMO free.
– develop and strengthen non-Jewish Mafia health industry. No chemo-therapy, etc.
Fantastic list of suggestions! I completely agree with you. This way, Russia would get support of all those who oppose practices that affect us, our health, our need to communicate, get information and debate, etc.
I’ve been hoping for years that Russia would seize the opportunity to create an alternative internet connection for the many Europeans and westerners who see right through the BS. I actually think the service would be overwhelmed with demand.
My own experience is that the majority of westerners are raging angry with their respective governments. They are fed up with the propaganda that passes for news; they are fed up with multiculturalism which is slowly throttling their heritage; they are fed up with their government’s (ab)use of all the powers of state to criminalize dissent, shut down free speech, and marginalize their citizens.
This would be an epic social torpedo if Russia could pull it off!
Indeed, this is the time the Chinese Government need to realize that the Empire is imploding and it might drag the world with it. The won’t be a world to trade with if things are left moving like this. They need to step up and call the Empire bluff now, or else it might be too late. As the second largest economy in the world, they have that power, and that’s also their responsibility.
As a Vietnamese, it strange that I one day hope that China will be our savior. What’s a strange world we’re in!
Yes, it is a challenging time in history. I thought about becoming a volunteer and help Russia; but, unfortunately, I am too weak and sick, and would become a liability instead…
there wont be world to trade indeed. i agree with you that they have responsability and cannot expect them to be caught empty handed…
I should like to know who permitted Berezhovsky to live in UK. I should also like to know who permitted Bill Browder to live in UK. Were they both given visas to buy £2 million in Government Bonds ?
Berezhovsky is one of the most malign forces since Rasputin. He is deep in the Yeltsin corruption swamp and deep in the Chechen mess and with his sidekick Litvinenko who seems to have been a useful idiot, it seems Berezhovsky was just as malign as that character in the film “Tycoon – A New Russian” (2002) with Platon Makovsky as Berezhovsky.
please leave Rasputin alone, he was not at all like him in the Western propaganda
Do tell us how beneficial he was to the Tsar and the war effort and I may be able to revise my opinion of Berezhovsky too ! Go ahead and change my viewpoint !
I’ll give you Webster Tarply’s version of Rasputin, I don’t vouch for it but here it is: Rasputin was not an angel, he had influence on the Tsarina and he used it but any sane person at end of 1916 could see that Russia can’t stay in the war any longer, but the ruling class connected to the West kept it in the war. Rasputin who had no connection to the West tried to use his influence on the Tsarina to pull Russia out of the war, he was murdered by (decadents) aristocrats on orders from the West. He wasn’t killed because he was ruining the country, he was killed by those ruining the country because he was trying to stop the destruction of Russia and save the rule of the Tsars, which fell 3 months after his death.
Here is something I would vouch for: the West pushed the provisional government (the one ruling from Feb to Oct. 1917) into a disasters attack in the summer of 1917 that basically brought the communists into power when the army refused to fight anymore and left their positions on the front. For the West destroying Russia was a price they were very much willing to pay to save themselves.
There might be some glimmers of hope in the dark:
“Germany approves Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline”
The EU’s eastern European members and Baltic states have tussled with Germany over the pipeline due to concerns it will increase Russia’s stranglehold over the EU energy market and cut Ukraine off from gas transit fees.
Germany, the largest consumer of Russian gas in Europe, views the pipeline as an economic issue financed by five Western firms and has dismissed geo-political objections.
“Trump says US withdrawing from Syria ‘very soon'”
US President Donald Trump insisted Thursday that US forces would pull out of Syria “very soon” and lamented what he said was Washington’s waste of $7 trillion in Middle East wars
“We’ll be coming out of Syria, like, very soon. Let the other people take care of it now,” he promised, to applause.
Trump did not say who the others were who might take care of Syria, but Russia and Iran have sizable forces in the country to support President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.”
“Donald Trump could be faking his tough stance on Russia, Australia’s ex-US Ambassador says. DONALD Trump could be foxing by creating a fake image that he plans to get tough on Russia, Australia’s ex-US Ambassador has claimed”:
AUSTRALIA’S man in Washington for five years Kim Beazley suspects United States President Donald Trump is only pretending to be tough on Russia.
And he does not completely dismiss claims Russian President Vladimir Putin has a “nefarious” hold over the President”.
I live in Australia – Kim Beasley has and always will be – a complete Bozo !
He was a Rhodes scholar, so he might have privileged information (?).
This analysis agrees with my own take of the Skripal false flag story. It is a blatant demonstration of irrational and evil behaviour by the Empire. Its main objective in the short term is to force obedience training down the throats of the vassal states in Europe: “Look, we are showing off with this evil, outrageous, immoral and irrational act and you will declare ‘solidarity’ with us”.
At this point, the Empire’s plan has worked. What looks irrational is in fact quite rational, just psychopathic and evil. The vassal regimes in Europe have mostly caved to the Empire’s demand for blind obedience. By the looks of it, Europe is currently just circling the drain. However, no battle plan survives contact with the enemy, and the real enemy of the psychopaths is the people.
An excellent article, as always from The Saker. I would like to add a few points:
1) Time is the factor. It is not working for the Anglo-Zionists. As political economist Lyndon LaRouche has stated, the only thing that will save the worthless US dollar is the breakup of Russia and the plunder of Siberia and the Caspian regions of Russia, two of the wealthiest in the world. The dollar is now printed backed by nothing, and this cannot last too long.
2) In 1989, when the Warsaw Pact collapsed, NATO was retained. The intention was for it to move towards the East, and in conjunction with the EU. The plan was for Russia to be destabilized, so NATO could move in to maintain “respect for human rights” and “democracy”. Russia was then to be broken up and plundered by Western corporations and banks, again in the name of “democracy”. It did not come to that. NATO still exists, and so do the huge costs of maintaining it.
3) When Yeltsin was in charge, Russia came close to collapse. Putin reversed the situation, which no doubt was a shock for the West. The shooting down of that Malaysian airliner in 2014 was an assassination attempt gone horribly wrong. The target was not the Malaysian airliner, but President Putin’s plane, which was flying close to the Malaysian. Both planes had almost identical logo colors. The Ukrainian pilot who shot down the Malaysian airliner mistook it for President Putin’s plane. The entire operation was supervised in Kiev by NATO electronics specialists, a fact well known over here where I live. The point is that in President Putin the Anglo-Zionists have a dangerous and unexpected enemy, who ruined their geopolitical plans. The vilification against him will continue. As for that Ukrainian pilot who shot down the Malaysian plane, he is dead. I wonder why.
4) I cannot agree that “Europeans have been forced right back into the Anglosphere’s fold”. That crude, foolish false flag in England must have been a shock to Continental Europe, which probably did not expect something so infantile and transparent. Yes, a number of EU countries did expel Russian diplomats, but these have been symbolic gestures. Not all EU countries consented to such measures. Those who did so did it under political duress. However, this has been a huge mistake by the Anglo-Zionists. What in effect they are demanding is the creation of a new Napoleonic Grand Alliance against Russia. Big mistake. There is no mood in Europe for a wider war for the benefit of London and New York bankers. It’s only a time before Continental Europe turns towards Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union. Yes, the Anglo-Zionists will try to prevent this, especially when Germany and the Nord Stream – 2 gas pipeline is in question. We shall see if they are successful.
5) I cannot agree with the view that the only factor which can stop the upcoming war is China. The war will be stopped by Russia and China jointly, Russia with her military high tech and China with her economic and financial capabilities. Yes, the West tried to apply the old tactic of divide and conquer, but this failed, as the Chinese did not fall for it.
Finally, I doubt very much if the Anglo-Zionists really know what they are doing. The are using old methods, having trouble understanding changes that are occurring in the world. This situation cannot last too long. As we all know, everything revolves around money, and Western finances are not in a rosy shape.
How long can you keep saying that Ukraine has failed and will collapse? The Ukrainian economy is actually growing you know, the Ukrainian security service and army has the country under a firm grip. The pro-Russian underground has been crushed and worse the Ukrainian peoplemore then ever want to join NATO.
If USA goal was to turn Ukraine into a russophobic fanatically pro-USA state that can attack Russia at the drop of an hat they have succeed.
Ukrainian Security Service? Probably meant Gestapo wannabes.
Ukrainian Army? Probably meant various neonazi formations.
Ukrainians are nothing but brainwashed self-hatred Russians.
Sooner this is realized, there might be a hope.
Lucky that Russia is tolerating the idiocy.
removed ad hominem … mod
Official UN figures: 60 % of the Ukrainian population lives in poverty. This year there have been two anti-Poroshenko demonstrations in Kiev. The population of Ukraine has openly stated that it does not want to see any more war. The former Ukrainian PM has stated that by the end of 2017, some 4.4 million Ukrainians have emigrated to Russia, and millions more to other countries.
You are completely wrong on so any counts !
I have friends in Eastern Ukraine – they earn about $US 300 per month !
They all understand and loathe the Zio/US ‘Imperialistic’ ambitions !
Ukraine has 20% of the worlds black soil – Poroshenko has issued a ‘moratorium’ where foreign corporations ( like Bayer – Monsanto ) can aquire those fertile lands.
Ukrainians cannot understand how a filthy rich President can rule over the ‘wretched’ of Ukraine !
I could go on for hours – but you get my point ?
There is zero evidence that the ‘incident’ even happened !
I think the ‘West’ has changed their ‘angle’ – nobody believes the ‘Hollywood’ inspired hoaxes anymore !
So they now present no evidence at all – it’s easier and more cost effective !
Isnt there still a chance that Trump is playing ? Escalating in Syria to have a direct answer from RF ,either to sink a ship or bomb the illegal bases and have a lot of US collateral damage. .., and after that he can blame it on the kriegsgeile crazy military and Dems and the likes of McCain, and stop it immediately,as he just said, and leave Syria, and tries to get along with Putin/Russia!
To make sense out of the situation, is it possible to recognised 2 different factions of the western elites?
1) the globalist, based in City of London, controling banks and multinationals.
2) the US military complex, they got Trump elected (against globalist candidate).
This would explain why MSM tries to demolish Trump but that nevetheless Trump still needs the wage war against Russia who is the common ennemy.
The globalist priority is defense of the USD, therefore the outcry by Skripal incident just before the petro-yuan launch, because they need war to defend their system….whereas the US military complex priority would be military dominance in the middle east, but no actual war (although they also need strong USD to support their military power)
Looking through this angle, the Skripal case becomes little bit less critical
“This would explain why MSM tries to demolish Trump”
Fox News is the MSM.
Sean Hannity in Israel http://insider.foxnews.com/tag/sean-hannity-israel
The two news organizations most sympathetic to President Trump have been the Wall Street Journal and Fox News. Both are owned by Rupert Murdoch, a very highly-placed operative of the Anglo-Zionists. So the idea that President Trump is somehow opposed to the globalists seems difficult to justify.
And again Putin. FOX NEWS live – Scandal
You can change the language of the subtitles trom Russian to English
How Trump turned Sean Hannity into a conspiracy theorist
“How Trump turned Sean Hannity”
Indeed, while Alex Jones sorted all the problems out with the Austin Billionaires (or his back pocket at least).
The mass of ordinary Americans know war only through the eyes of Hollywood. Consequently, the USA will only understand the true nature of war when its own cities are bombed, its infrastructure destroyed, its people maimed and killed, and its civilisation shattered. Rather like what it has calculatedly and callously done to so many other countries e.g. Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, etc., in pursuit of its wider objective of world domination.
Russia is the ONLY country in the world that can conceivably do this, especially given its latest weaponry.
“Past behaviour is the best predictor of future behaviour.” The rulers of the USA have ALWAYS been aggressive, hence the worship of the gun, hence the worship of brute force. A ‘bloody nose’ is needed, perhaps repeated a thousand times over until some sense (from bitter experience) eventually sinks through the thick brain of collective America. Perhaps, then, the world will have peace.
I could not agree more.
Well, some reasons for US people to understand the true nature of war are already visible, even without a war in the US territory: infrastructure destroyed – for total lack of maintenance, people maimed and killed – by incited violence against each other, and its civilisation shattered – by ideas and ideals alien to the people, to their real needs.
We could argue that the US aspiration of a unipolar world has created so much burden for the State that it is destroying itself…
What w john wayne do
“The silent cock shall crow at last. The west shall shake the east awake. Walk while ye have the night for morn, lightbreakfastbringer, morroweth whereon every past shall full fost sleep. Amain.”-Finnegans Wake
Nice article, made us think and rethink we are on the eve or the verge of something big and catastrophic.
One can see that the steps from Russian side can be nearly predicted, the ones from the western rulers cannot, except for a daily, relentless push for submission.
Look, tell me one simple thing:
if you were a russian, a plain normal street russian guy, today end March 2018, would n’t you be many boiling points of anger above those of mere two months ago? and how many above?
Well, after the final referee whistle of the upcoming World Cup of football Bad Vlad will not have any public sphere or PR obligation towards the west and their aggression.
I cant stop thinking how long and to what an extent could Putin detach himself from this justified indignation of his people.
This is very good assessment. But I want to caution the Saker as well others, like myself, who follow his on-going analyses of the Anglo-Zionist war against Russia.
China is as much committed to a hegemonic one-world order as America is. But it is going to be a China-centric unipolar world instead of an American one.
Just as The United States played China against the Soviet Union, so is China playing Russia against America.
And folks, a Chinese unipolar world hegemony will be no better for mankind than an American one. Russia’s Far East will infested by a transmigration of Mongolian Chinese in the future just as surely as the American West has been infested with Latinos in the present. Petro-Yuan will be just as much an instrument of economic power as the Petro-Dollar has been.
American Imperialism is the greatest threat to Russia now and for the forseeable future. So it needs China’s cooperation for now; but not in the future. I am sure that the great Russian people -after all that they have been through since World War I- do not want to end up as a “me too” appendage to the Chinese like the rest of the English-speaking peoples have become to the Americans.
In order to maintain its strategic independence, and to insure that a multi-polar world will come into being once the American one comes to an end, Russia must forge close ties with Germany. Establishing close ties with France as well -and perhaps it will be easier to do- will facilitate the deepening and strengthening of those ties with Germany.
Russia should do what it can to promote nationalism and both cultural identity and cultural allegiance in all countries, and should call for mutual respect for those national cultures, along with the historical bonds and traditions that developed with them over the centuries. A nation-centric “international” world order would be the best antidote to the emergence of another “globalist” one.
Trying to forge ties with Germany and France is a good way for Russians to get spit in the face again. We all know of the treachery and contempt the West has for noble Russia.
During the Kaiser era, Bismarck worked very hard to create a triple alliance of Russia, Germany, and Austria-Hungary. It looked like it was going to work; but Disraeli sabotaged it by exaggerating to the Hapsburgs the desire of the Romanovs extend their empire to the Greek Islands. When the triple alliance fell apart, France was quick to align itself with Russia as a counterweight to the German Empire.
Post Soviet Union, the relations between Germany and Russia were very close and friendly during the chancellorship of Gerhard Schroeder. During Chrirac’s presidency, France was also friendly towards Russia. Both Chirac and Schroeder were very cool toward the US Global War on Terrorism.
So you see, it is not irrational for a triple alliance of Russia + Germany + France to develop in the aftermath of the collapse of the American Hegemony; and there is some historical basis for envisioning such an alliance to develop.
I was thinking of the same bit of history today.
Germany has the closest trade relations with Russia, and German business moguls have been complaining about sanctions blocking their profits from trade with Russia since they were put into place. In any country in the corporate west, the business moguls have a large voice. Not as big as the bankers, but a large voice.
China is as much committed to a hegemonic one-world order as America is.
That’s why China built the Great Wall, because walls are so good for conquering the world.
Not just one Great Wall, which might be interpreted as a momentary defensive impulse. But many Great Walls, over thousands of years.
China has no intention of becoming a global hegemon.
China shows no intention of dominating anyone. The prefer trade to military aggression, are open to foreign influences and foreign visitors and immigrants. They have ONE overseas military base, compared to the one thousand or so of the USA. They build schools, hospitals, roads and railways in their trading partners, not military bases or luxury condos for rich Western tourists. They lend money, but often cancels debts. They train tens of thousands of foreign students and tens of thousands of theirs study overseas. China is perhaps the antithesis of the USA.
One of the Empire’s prime ambitions is to drive a wedge between Russia and China so that each can be picked off separately. So the Imperial propagandists must push the Sinophobic line, as here.
MORDOR is a great metaphor, not for socially connected, reasonable and rational Russians – but for brain-dead, zombified, fundamentally lonely (and living in Dark Age of social interaction) deluded, over-medicated, depressed, violent, manic and psychopathic Anglosheeple
“I think we should poison that double agent, on the soil of the country he defected to, using a weapon with our fingerprints all over it, to agitate the world into hating is as much as possible.” -said no one ever.
This question is for the military tacticians in the Saker community.
Does the Russian Defense Ministry have an operational hunter-killer satellite network? President Putin did not disclose such an advanced orbital system but I’m wondering if they have have one up and ready.
The reason I’m asking is the U.S. heavily depends on LEO (Low Earth Orbit) reconnaissance for navigational coordination in addition to aircraft and missile attack profiles. If Russia can selectively take out certain “birds”, it could incapacitate multiple U.S. warships operating in the region (Mediterranean, Red Sea, Persian Gulf) and neutralize their ability to effectively make war.
Here is a database that’s updated monthly of all space satellites currently known to the scientific community.
See: https://www.ucsusa.org/nuclear-weapons/space-weapons/satellite-database#.Wr5UPX9rxLM .
I sincerely doubt that the information is available to us ordinary folks and even if it is, I can’t think of a soul who would publicly say anything whether they would know or not.
If your thesis is correct Saker, then two things need to happen. Will China take the lead you envision for them? And will the rest of the world’s countries step in and follow that lead? History is the record of the resolution of such uncertainties, for better or worse – and cannot be a sure guide to the outcome of the present unparalleled situation where ecological and industrial collapse are occurring in a world armed with nuclear weapons, whose most powerful nation is led by individuals who are seriously deranged and amoral.
God help us all, in spite of our sins. We seem to be incapable of following any course higher than or own selfish, materialistic desires.
There is an interesting article from South Front
This is openly known capability. China had demonstrated to US during Bush era to force him backoff from provoking a conventional war, by shooting down a defunc satellite, proving its ability to blind all US assets by taking out US GPS. Soon USM follow suit shoot down a satellite. But China declared it will win the war as its weapon don’t rely on GPS to operate. Since, alarmed USM has adjusted their weapon system on using GPS alternative guiding system.
Russia has long history of superior aerospace technology, which can’t be behind China. But once shooting starts, both will blind each other GPS. So Russia is joining China Beidou with its Gonuss now for greater survival & accuracy. This means Russia & China have both enter into alliance unseen before, like US with Nato, sharing strategic military technology.
Russia has requested China to joint force in manned Space station after China showed its ability to go it alone, & West are making use of Russia soyuz with contempt. NASA even insulted Russia with threat of sanction its space program. Russia has shocked by West violent rape to wake up from her sweet dream of been equal partner with West, G8.
Russia supplies the technology, militarily advanced weapons, China brings an open checkbook and huge manufacturing base(btw, China currently has special forces operation in Syria ), and Iran, Hezbollah, Russian Chechens under the Russian MoD, Iraqi popular mobilization forces and auxiliaries, the Syrian Arab Army , NDF coupled with IRGC and Iranian special forces, will be the boots on the ground.
Once the war theatre is saturated with anti-air man portable and mobile defenses, its all over for U.S., Israeli, NATO powers in the Middle East.
The U.S. and its vassals are being evicted from the Middle East, the hard way of the easy way, its gonna happen.
China and Russia have big plans for the upcoming silk roads, and they need the U.S. to back off.
Russia is not bluffing, they will hit U.S. naval assets as they said they would. They will disrupt air traffic electronically and even shoot down attacking planes.
Neither side is ready yet for the big showdown, as thus, there haven’t been any incidents or crossing of red lines. Russia is presently bringing in tremendous amounts of weaponary to Syria. Of all sorts, because Russia knows the U.S. and Israel are planning on something this summer against Hezbollah and possibly Syria.
Look for Iran to get involved, and they do have a large pool of manpower/soldiers to get into the action really quickly.
Btw, another aspect of the nerve agent hoax in Britain was to deafen out the shock and awe of the new Russian weapons Mr. Putin spoke about on March 1st 2018. They had to divert their people away from the profound embarrassment that they are way behind and trillions have been wasted.
The best mental model I can use to understand America’s government is that of gangsters.
If you think of how a movie mafia gangster would approach a situation, then that’s a good guess at how the US government would act.
By US government, I refer to what is now known widely as “the Deep State.” The fake, show-elections that America holds don’t seem to change it nor influence it. The gangsters had their power challenged in the 60’s and 70’s, and have since tried to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Like gangsters, they believe in force and intimidation as the only reliable means of persuasion. The attitude towards Russia, Iran and others is the gangster attitude that says you either submit and kiss the ring or you die. They believe in “the offer you can not refuse”.
And its interesting, that these days the old-style Mafia gangsters seem almost reasonable and civilized compared to the modern street gangsters like the MS-13 gang. The same transformation seems to have happened in the US government, as the old style gangsters of say the Dulles brothers era seem almost reasonable and civilized compared to the modern madmen who seem to run things. That is not to imply that the old-style deep state gangsters were not awful and did not kill millions. I came into this show as a kid marching and working to oppose the Vietnam War, so I remember them well and saw through their propaganda then. But today’s deep-state gangsters seem even more violent, more insane, and more willing to kill many, many people.
Though I agree with the article on the whole, (and enjoyed reading it), I have a few points…
1. “…does anybody sincerely believe that the current sharp rise in tensions between the AngloZionist Empire (aka the “West”) does not place the Empire and Russia on collision course which could result in war, probably/possibly nuclear war, maybe not deliberately, but as the result of an escalation of incidents?”
This is exactly the same method used to start two previous ‘world’ wars.
2. “western leaders chose a new decision-making paradigm which can be summarized in two words:
I suggest that the first phrase is better summed as “pollsters/big data mining analysts rate highly the probability that our domestic society won’t riot or, it will be successful in garnering adequate public support/won’t cause too much public resentment”.
The “highly likely” descriptor seems incorrect to me.
The mechanations of the political (puppet) leadership in the subordinated vassal nation-states of the empire are now governed by this new model of behavioural insight and modification through the (deep-)state controlled MSM/propaganda/perception management agencies.
3. the ‘missing’ official UK anti-Russian allegation “…the mass rape of baby penguins by drunken Russian sailors in the south pole or the use of a secret “weather weapon” to send hurricanes towards the USA.”
lol – good one; I’m surprised it wasn’t included, as it is equally/more plausible than half of them.
4. “…people view lies as just another tool in a type of “political toolkit”…”
I believe that this phenomenon is very, very significant.
I believe that northwestern eurasian culture developed in a sparse population density, where survival necessitated a. social cooperation, and b. comparative honesty in discourse.
It may be a factor that supported the rise of the northwestern eurasian material gains over the so-called renaissance period (a long with a lot of other things, see Jared Diamond – Guns, Germs, and Steel)
As part of the ‘high-density’ cultural norms, zero/negative sum gain gaming, misleading (is situational and/or verbal intelligence superiority?!?!) gains advantage for the misleading person/collective, while lowering the overall survival probability of the entire population.
Since a group using this “gaining advantage by misleading, to overall cost to the entire population system has (challenged to disguise now, I believe) gained a dominant position in societies, I believe a case can be made for a ‘trickle-down‘ cultural influence effect.
Eventually this will lead to what I call, the tower of Babel effect, the loss of effective communication, and catastrophic diminishment of overall societal productivity.
The ‘glee noted by the author, of some commentators, about the open and inane Russia-defamation, can be explained by the active repression of citizen self-actualization, favourable to the vapid consumption-based model of social organization, under which the citizens of the empire live; these people are gleeful at being openly allowed to flaunt their rejection of all ‘adult responsibilities, i.e. being rational, and responsible for… anything really. (see Jordan Peterson well-developed positions).
5. “Self-worship and a total reliance on brute force and falsehoods…”
I believe this follows the same mechanical trickle-down cultural adherence, game-theory, gaining advantage of the dominant group…unfortunately seems true.
Many other new north western eurasian cultural values can be understood by this infection.
6. Hmm… “The agenda, by the way, is also the same one as the Franks had 1000 years ago: either submit to us and accept our dominion, or die, and the way to accept our dominion is to let us plunder all your riches.”
Didn’t everybody have this agenda 100 years ago? i.e. the Scandinavian elevation after the last ‘cool’ period, the longboat rowers (the Rus) conquering the Slavs (central Asia) en route to eastern Mediterranean, and western eurasia via the west end of the Mediterranean?
If “no”, who had a different agenda (and are they around anymore)?
7. “… if the West is an AngloZionist doormat, then the East is most definitely not.”
The ongoing conflagration seems inaccurate, isn’t it time we recognize the root cause, is the “Anglo-” part of this phrase really accurate/needed?
Isn’t that it?
The Saker referenced the phrase “highly likely” because that’s the exact phrase being used by the UK government with regard to the alledged Skirpal poisioning incident. If one listens carefully to their statements, the UK does not say that Russia is proven to be behind it, only that its “highly likely” that the Russkies are behind this alledged incident.
Such careful language being followed by all public speakers would seem to indicate this is the result of internal meetings where languange such as “highly likely” or “of a type developed by Russia” was as far as the pro-war faction could get other parties to agree to.
Could you imagine the western (empire puppet) leaders with the so-called elevated ‘verbal IQ?
This most recent, utterly ridiculous, narrative is so far out there… I guess I’m just turning it ‘off’ for as much as I can filter out/avoid (not necessarily in that order), any thing and all.
I do follow a bit on these (possibly ironically, for those that still see the political landscape in terms of the now redundant left/liberal – right/conservative polar framework; just as dead as the unipolar global hegemony; likewise, it just hasn’t figured it out, yet) information-liberal, coherent web sites, where reasonable bias it not disguised and discussed (comparatively) openly.
(I got to say, on the sly, that I view these pieces, the Saker’s, as functional art, really, and if you are really paying attention, you can witness real time, the development of the artistry, a fascinating and enriching progression! The best art is the art that we use in everyday life, not just put on the wall.)
But I follow this latest ridiculous (the word is not adequately pointed, is it?) narrative only in so much as to hone my trend analysis of these tactics.
There is a strong and durable trend, in it.
As Sabretooth says, “predictable!
Back to the “…careful language being followed by all public speakers…”
Seems a straight trickle-down cultural from from their masters, of the superior verbal intelligence.
“Russia alone cannot continue to carry the burden of stopping the messianic psychopaths ruling the Empire.
“The rest of the world, led by China, now needs to step in to avert the war.”
I’ve intoned that mantra for almost 4 decades now, but it was never really broadcast to the world. And of course, I’m not alone. The reference to the Franks is quite apt. IMO, the recent rash of terror-arson is yet another provocation. A CCTV-based video shows a limping man deposit the incendiary device that caused the Kemerovo fire.
Another force, as yet weak, could bring down the Outlaw US Empire from within–the burgeoning movement spawned by the Parkland shooting that will find solidarity with two complements: Black Lives Matter, and those coalescing around the protection of immigrants/minorities. These groups are quite youthful and are the generation most threatened by the Empire. An example of their growing political power was just displayed as David Hogg’s 400K Twitter followers got advertisers to drop their sponsorship of the gross Laura Ingraham’s Fox TV program–action that can clearly be applied in different areas. IMO, that’s where “The Force” will arise to save humanity and its home.
The problem with this “force” is that it is firmly under the control of the Democratic Party, and as such will only be used to help Democrats win back power. At which point it will disband and become meaningless. Which means it won’t help prevent a war because the Democrats are the current pro-war, pro-miliitary, pro-deep-state party that seems to desperately want a war with Russia.
The BLM movement actually seemed designed to prevent and disarm a popular uprising. I was out marching in the streets immediately following the murder of Michael Brown in Ferguson. That was a multi-racial movement united against police violence. Police in America have become violent and bullying towards all people, well at least the ones who don’t travel in limos. Thus that police murder touched a chord that resonated with lots of people who’ve been treated violently and intimidated by police who seem to know no other methods these days. Thus, it seemed for a short while that there was a real chance of an broad movement to try to reign in an increasingly violent police force.
But, it was quickly obvious that an attempt to define this as only a ‘black’ problem was made, and the BLM movement (backed by Soros money) quickly sprang up. You quickly saw that anyone who tried to point out that other people besides blacks are treated violently by police were dismissed. One day I was told that slogans such as “All Lives Matter” were in fact now defined as racist. Anyone who tried to bring up the many others killed and brutalized by the police were shouted down by people who said that this was only a black problem. In other words, what had potential to be a broad uprising against violent police was quickly diverted into only being a black issue.
Gun control appears to be the same thing. Its a Democrat campaign issue, and there is no sign that these movements are in anyway independent of the Democrats. Thus, I expect it to be like the anti-Bush, anti-war effort. That seemed to be a powerful movement until the Democrats accomplished their goal of taking the Congress and the Presidency. Then no more anti-war marches even though the Democrats were still passing war budgets throught the Congress and Obama was still continuing the Bush wars and expanding them by bombing even more countries and deploying assasination teams and drones worldwide.
BLM has already defused the issue of a violent police force that kills a thousand Americans a year. Gun control will be an issue until the Democrats win the fall elections. Then we’ll see a show-bill passed in Congress and then with the expected veto by Trump it won’t become law (which is why it will pass in Congress). It will be a bit of an issue into the 2020 elections, but expecting a Democrat controlled mass movement to help stop a war that the Democrats seem desperate to start is a bit of a reach.
There is always the possiblities that something will get out of control. That it might teach youth the power of protest and they might take that lesson and run with it. But these days, the police state seems to have such possiblities well under control and the Democrats will likely have any organizations and so-called leaders also under their control, so I’m not hopeful.
There are other currents at work besides the three I intoned–particularly the ongoing and advancing class action suit over climate chaos inaction by govt–many of which cross party lines–just as there’re immoral Democrats there’re moral Republicans. The Social Media weapon ought not to be discounted either as it’s use by many non-party affiliated youth demonstrates. I would compare the current level of youth unrest to that of the early 1960s just after the Cuban Crisis. Of course, the Propaganda System does its best to not cover the topic of youth unrest unless forced to, as with the massive marches in DC and across the nation last weekend. As many have noted, time is on the side of the Multipolar Alliance; so, we must be patient, yet vigilant.
In my opinion you place way too much importance on political parties and political theater. Both parties are in more or less complete agreement on the important issues of war and money. They do have some wiggle room on the social issues which allows for them to differentiate themselves. In any case though, your post illustrates why a populist uprising in the US is so unlikely. All protest movements are always seen as proxies for either Soros or for the Koch brothers depending on one’s political orientation. People’s distrust of each other is greater than their distrust of the government.
The US rules by divide and conquer.
The most important thing is to keep the opposition on the left from joining the opposition on the right.
For instance, the opposition on the right is regularly bombarded with claims that the left are all just socialists and communists. With a lot of other nonsense about secular humanists, gays and bathrooms thrown in for good measure. The obvious goal is to make sure that the opposition on the right hates the opposition on the left more then they hate the fake-centrist choices. The reverse happens with the opposition on the left with them being regularly told that the right is all fascists and racists who want to make the earth unlivable.
The one thing the ruling elites in America do not want to see is for the opposition on the left and the opposition on the right to join together. Divide and conquer. They spend a lot of money making sure this does not occur.
In general, all opposition groups are closely monitored by the government. They are regularly infiltrated. Not only with informers but with those who’s goal is to subvert the movement away from anything that might actually challenge those in power. Using the BLM movement to subvert and diffuse any more general uprising against police violence is just one example of this. My own feeling is that the surveillance-police state has grown so powerful that no such movement can challenge power. That’s the lesson the ruling elites learned and took to heart after being challenged in the 1960’s.
I wish I could find it, but a couple of years ago a Glenn Greenwald article mentioned the total number of FBI informants in America. It was a huge number. I divided it by 435 to get the number per congressional district to try to get a grasp on it. It was still a big number. In the hundreds at least IIRC. Most American cities have more than one congressional district, and then picture an average of hundreds of FBI informants in each district.
And that’s just the FBI. Don’t forget the IRS, and the DEA and the rest of the alphabet soup of government agencies who also have their own giant pools of informants. The military has its own programs devoted to ‘base security’. These target most anti-war protesters, or at least did when there were still such people.
Then remember that much of this has all been privatized and that anyone with money can hire one of many firms of ex-FBI and ex-CIA agents to run their own espionage programs and recruit their own informants and active agent-provacateurs. For most corporations, the costs of this are relatively small when compared to revenue.
Most opposition groups are thereby riddled with not only informants but people within who are being paid to make sure the organization stays ineffective or completely self-destructs.
> A CCTV-based video shows a limping man deposit the incendiary device that caused the Kemerovo fire.
That guy went offline few hours after the video. He is an employee there and in hi-res video it is seens as he “knocks fists” greating another employee. Also on hi-res video it is seen that almost 4 minutes were cut off the video after the guy walks off and before the fire is blazing. However, event without timestamp just by observing the general color thones it is seen that the vrytical momnets were cut off
Thanks for posting that Arioch, it IA this kind of rush to judgement, that gets innocent people blamed (or worse) for all kinds of things, be it arson, terrorism or even poisoning.
he went ONline of course
Thank you, The Saker. Love to come here .
“The Skripals’ Resurrection” — http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/49101.htm
The Brit govt and string-pullers are the scum of humanity.
May’s little act with the Skripals is move on the great chess board pushed by the anti-Russo dark state and – dare I say it – a ZioAnglo influence.
Anyone with a modicum of awareness who has paying attention these past few decades/years knows what the game is: discredit Russia whilst drawing away the focus of your own internal issues. For the US, it’s the massive debt balance; for the UK, the Brexit nightmare. Factor in Syria/Israel and you can see how the scriptwriters set themselves to task.
It’s not rocket science, if you will excuse the a propos pun!
For those few Americans who actually know their own history, America has known that the British are scum and not to be trusted since at least 1776. I’m still in favor of dumping British tea into a harbor and giving the Queen the finger.
For May, this is simple political survival. Her time as PM has been on life-support since she made the huge mistake of calling early elections this year. The only thing keeping her in office is the Tory fears that Corbyn would be the next PM if she goes. Corbyn has managed to fight off the Blairite traitors in Labor ranks and consolidate his hold on the party. In the last campaign, Corbyn showed that he is the most popular leader in Britain. Slogans like “For the Many, Not the Few” work and work well. The Brit press, such as it is, has been regularly running stories about how weak May is and whether this month or next is the month that she falls out of power.
An American politician once said “all politics is local.” To understand most rulers, look at the situation at home. Especially weak rulers who are only hanging on by their fingernails.
More than voicing its opinion in The Global Times, China needs to make sure this message gets to those that need to hear it. It’s high time that Russia got some back-up. Either stand with Russia or assume the position. This shit’s about to get real.
All global leaders aren’t stupid to toe Anglozionist US line for self destruction. But most are either threatened or blackmailed one way or another with 5eyes operating to collect their dirty linens, or with regime change, subversion, sanction, and direct war.
Only when China & Russia demonstrated their capability to protect their allies will these leaders stick their neck out. Philippine Pres Dutert got US ISIS attacked, China saved him. Mauritius under US India military threat for regime change, China sent a dozen fleet Navy to warn off India. Russia intervene Syria war & protect Iran, if successful, then ME & world will domino fall to Russia-China side, BRI will flourish.
Africa, Latin America, Asia are all watching closely. The world can’t wait to free from Anglozionist shackles, but all will jump ship only when they are assured of survival. Only exception is India sepoy, still day dreaming of slavery glory under its Anglo masters. Even Australia & Nz sane politicians put up fight, but quickly they are removed. EU are sicked of UK US Anglozionist too, just too helpless been manipulated after last strong statemen France Pres Chirac & German chancellor been removed in opposing Bush Iraq war.
We Scots have been wanting out of the AZ empire for years now too.
Hey BoJoke …. the Light Saber is an American invention. It was created by an American named George Lucas and his firm Industrial Light and Magic that did the special effects for the American Star Wars movies. But, maybe the UK makes some cheap plastic rip-off versions that are sold to kids or something.
One of these Light Sabers must have been sold to Boris Johnson at least ;-)
“I submit that not a single major western decision maker sincerely believes any of that nonsense.”
I can answer that with two scary words …… John Bolton.
Frankly, Saker reads too much into this Chinese article.
It is not about Russia.
It is not because Skrypal hoax dialed ritual Russophobia over eleven.
It just is a coincidence.
Yet before loosing the elections Hillary was promising military war with Russia.
Yet before winning the elections Trump was promising economic war with Trump.
USA ruling 1% was making a strategic choice year ago.
When Trump got elected he inherited the raging war. He could not stop it, obviously. Then he turned it overboard. He started demanding so many wars at once that USArmy got overstretched and paralized. Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Itan, Yemen, Korea, new European garrisons…. Trump send Army to prepare to war everywhere and now Pentagon can not scratch together enough forces to attack anywhere specifically.
By his “clumsy and incompetent bravado” Trump neutralized the army, made and exposed it as incapable pretend-force.
Now Trump can switch to his programme – economic war with China.
And that is why Chinese diplomats and media run crazy. Now it is their war, not Russia’s. Now their tails are on the line. Now Russia mostly can move to backlines to lick wounds while China would exchange blows and collect bruises.
This turned recent Chinese statements so bald and pushing. This, and not a concern for Russia.
Russia & China are working closely to counter the West for existential threat, deeper & broader thsn what you can imagine.
Russia needs to save Syria for its own skin, and last ME baston of influence. When Syria down, Israel & Saudi gas will pipe to EU & cut off Russia lucrative EU gas deal & political influence. Iran will be next, hence complete ME oil & gas inside Anglozionist pocket. Then Russia lost it Opec cartel, price & supply control. China will be blackmailed into submission.
Iran needs to save its skin as it will be surrounded by US allied forces, and skin alive subsequently fighting West moderate terrorists with West Air force coverage. Its existential war all in Syria, not just propping Assad.
Russia has overwhelming sufficient military capability to fight West, with Iran, SAA army, Hezbollah & Iraq Shiah fighters. Problem is all want avoid escalate to nuke war with insane US war mongers.
China has been backing up with big cheque book for last few years, signing hundreds of billions deal with upfront payments to prop Russia economy for prolong war. With its mfg capacity & market equal to West, the alliance will balance off West over dominant power.
Global times news mostly reflected the China think tank policy that they wish to propagate to English speaking world. China has sensed West is tightened noose around Russia to cut it off from world, seeing from Olympic & now the Skirpal circus.
Trade war will be too bloody for the world. EU & Japan, Korea are very much resisting US UK plot to revive their imperialism glory through destruction. All are in overdraft state, bankrupt economics, except Germany is well.
ButAnglozionist may succeed by hyper pressure – and start to squeeze China like they did with Russia. West & Japan have been working on that long ago, but out of greed to China huge market & US capitalist crave for cheap labour, they constantly break the agreement & compete, hence China could slip away from their grip.
Now China us largest economy & market by PPP term, with 50% mfg capacity, it s capable to inflict great damage to US in trade war, which US already in crisis state. EU & Japan, Korea all have huge components export to China, they will be greatly impact too. So Trumpets is blowing hot air only to blackmail China, it will back down very soon. Today China is different from 1999, when it s on mercy of US threat of tariffs.
When Russia is down, China is next. They both know that, vice versa. China special force is operating in Syria. Lot of weapons supply to SAA. Lot of money pump in to sustain Syria war, feed the people there. You are silly self center viewer like many Russians always throwing allies under bus whenever possible, hence Russia deserve to be raped by West like 1990 is natural.
> China will be blackmailed into submission.
Wooop! Then it is not “existential threat” for China.
Cash for power, clash for sovereignty, clash fo prosperity – but not for survival.
> Russia & China are working closely
Which does not mean China’s role is making harsh dyplomatic statements in favor of Russia. At least it was not so before today. So i think it is not today either.
Also remember that Chinese social mindset is build upon idea of “indebting with gifts and aids” and then requesting payback when they need it.
Which means Russia should be very wary about accepting any help from China unless it wishes to be seen by China as a deeply indebted beggar incapable of sustaining itself.
And since diplomatic situation for Russia is not deadly critical I do not think Russia needed that newspaper article. If Russia would request China’s support of the kind – it would be in official diplomatic venues like UN.
> Russia needs to save Syria for its own skin
> Iran needs to save its skin
But is it so for China? Is Chaina in critical need of sovereign and friendly Syria? I doubt it.
> China has been backing up with big cheque book for last few years, signing hundreds of billions deal with upfront payments to prop Russia economy for prolong war.
Which is very important, but is not diplomatic statements nor Chinese newspaper articles.
That is exactly the Chinese role in this fight like i said many times before – economic and financial warfare is Chinese responsibility, while military and diplomatic warfare is Russian’s.
> Global times news mostly reflected the China think tank policy that they wish to propagate to English speaking world.
And here we are getting back to the topic. Why such a harsh, explicitly worded article did appeared today? Was it because of Russia or of China itself? Was that article reaction to some new threat to Syria, to russia, or to China itself?
And i believe in the latter option. This article is not linked to any recent events around Russia, it is caused by Sino-American relations shift.
> China has sensed West is tightened noose around Russia to cut it off from world, seeing from Olympic & now the Skirpal circus
Skripal affair is much less than Olympics was. Even European states many did not jumped Skripal wagon.
Additionally, if Russia would be “cut off from Western world” – what the West did not dared to do even in 2014 on the height of Crimea and MH17 accusations and on the ehopes of “gas station” imminent and fast collapse, so would hardly dare now just because some Skripal – but if Russia would soemhow gets politically isolated from the West, what bad is it for China? Russia would become more dependent on China, like many of the trade with West would had to go through Chinese “laundry”. China gets more influence over Russia. Russia gets much more limited in its options. Good (for China) develoment, why hurry to cancel it before Russia even asked for ?
> Trade war will be too bloody for the world
Yes, but the said trade war is not having Russia as primary adversary – Russian economy i not that significant to the western world, and for USA in particular it has but zero significance. The trade war we see igniting – is the war against China. China can no more be “wise monkey up the trees”, when USA moved their chaingun aim from Russia onto China. Now China is being shot at, and the article is Chinese response to China being attacked. Not to anything around Russia.
> You are silly self center viewer
Frankly, it is exactly the opposite here.
It is you who claim Russia being behing that article in Global Time.
It is me who claims Russia has no any relation to the timing and wording of that article.
> China special force is operating in Syria.
Maybe it is, but seems no one ever so those operations.
> Lot of weapons supply to SAA.
Maybe they are, but can you name that Chinese weapons and show me where SAA is employing it?
> Lot of money pump in to sustain Syria war,
If they are, then China does it part of the fight, good.
Like USA supplied money and material to fighting European states during WW2.
However that has no relation with the Global Times article being discussed.
> always throwing allies under bus whenever possible,
….because Putin is evil and just enjoys every opportunity to do bad thing.
I wish i would hear somethign remotely creative from you.
> hence Russia deserve to be raped by West like 1990 is natural.
Oh, i see. Yet another russophobe eager to lecture us “Russians should repent and repy, repay, and repent”, then frustrated when Russia shrugs this lecture off.
My sincerest and happiest congratulations, Vadim!
I suppose that bringing the EU commodified sex, petty crime, and toilet cleaning is being done on pure vocation by the Ukros for the greater good of Western civilization; thanks a lot — it’s the thought that counts!
”The Ukrainian economy is actually growing you know”
Of course. However, the Ukro demonstrations which followed in the immediate wake of the Maidan shitstorm, demanding instant wage hikes to Western European levels, don’t seem to have worked out quite as planned. The Ukros obviously believed that those lavish rent-a-mob bribes courtesy of Soros and the CIA were to continue forever.
”The pro-Russian underground has been crushed and worse the Ukrainian people more then ever want to join NATO”
Sounds promising! NATO needs all the suicidal imbeciles it can get. Fight Russia to the last piece of Ukro garbage. The world’s awe is total.
Question six: Is this insane theater of the absurd deliberately intended as a distraction from something much, much more important and Earth threatening, which is completely escaping everyone’s control and could create worldwide fear and hysteria if it were known? Worth pondering…
No matter how irrational and crazy the Western world may appear, it does not represent much more than 500 million inhabitants, on an Earth populated by 7.6 billion. Are they representative of our entire Earth in their barbarism, and would the rest of the world allow them to destroy this planet? Call me naïve but somehow, I doubt it…
No one will touch the World Cup. Oh, there will be propaganda games around it, but the World Cup will procede as planned.
In this modern mass-media world, entertainment is now the opiate of the masses. And “sports” are a part of this. Sports are a form of entertainment that keeps the portion of the population addicted to sports calm.
In such an environment, the one thing the states cannot do is to mess with the population’s supply of their opiates. Thus, the games of the world cup of football will procede as planned.
Even in England, the ground-zero of the current madness, BoJo got slapped down hard by suggesting the UK might interfere with the World Cup. The English football coach said quite bluntly that he didn’t listen nor care what BoJo says. The government announced that a few spoiled royals and government ministers won’t be attending, which Russia probably greeted with a sigh of relief. But, after making a few more serious noises about the World cup, BoJo was forced to backpeddle publicly and say that the games would go on. To do otherwise would probably have let to English football hooligans rioting in the streets. They want to see their football team play in the world cup, even if they are delusional if they think they’ll get very far in the tourney.
Germany would be even more committed. German fans were willing to take an longer and more expensive trip to Brazil to see the team play. Probably a more dangerous trip since Brazil is the place where even rich F1 teams can’t seem to provide enough security to keep their people from being robbed at gunpoint each fall. German fans are certainly looking forward to the relatively short and cheap trip to Russia to watch their team defend their world championship. Good luck trying to tell them not to go or that the games are now cancelled.
In general, cutting off the supply of this particular opiate would probably lead to riots across Europe and South America. The games will go on.
However, FIFA and the IOC run the same con. They convince countries to spend large amounts of money to get the games. I forget when that was, probably back around 2010 or something. Russia undoubtedly thought they’d get a chance to show themselves to the world and get a lot of favorable publicity. That’s the same con FIFA ran on Brazil and Qatar and most others who bid and promise to spend millions. The media environment will cut back on that. There will be a media campaign that will try to deny Russia that good publicity that they thought they were buying. But, the games will go on. And Russia will still get the benefits of a large number of travelers who get to see Russia as it is and meet the Russian people face to face.
You might want to read the following:
Quote: “In mid-February during my visit to Japan I was told by Princess Kaoru Nakamaru, Chair of the International Affairs Institute for World Peace and a royal family conduit to the North Korean leadership, that General Secretary Xi and President Trump and the leaders of North and South Korea have agreed to the unification of the two Koreas, with China being responsible for no “loose nukes” in the North and the US agreeing to withdraw its military forces from the South once unification was complete.”
Just for the record and, may be, some hope …
This article is category non sensical.
Japan has been left totally in cold after Trumps announced his meeting with NK Kim without notifying Abe. South Korea Pres will also meet Kim later, so will Russia Putin. Kim just finished paying his belated respect to China Pres Xi as a traditional practice by NK Pres to China paramount leader for reelection.
And deal is quietly done with China guarantee for NK safety in return of denuclearization, who else can provide such and proven their words are iron carved but China in an actual Korean war. No fool will trust a pathological liar US who had murdered Saddam & Gaddafi ruthlessly after they complied, still trying to renege on Iran nuke agreement, and all security agreements with Russia. If Russia itself is under heavy US security threats & sanctions, how can it defense NK interest?
Japan has been pushing the world and US to take uncompromising hard punishment & sanction to NK, with military option so as an excuse for Abe to revise Constitution law to fulfil his war crime grandfather’s war imperialism dream.
Now Abe found that suddenly everyone is meeting NK Kim privately without consulting Japan, its a humiliation & lost of influence. So Abe is now making a twist & turn hypocrite smile to seek a meet up with Kim, which all koreans(incl SK) loathe to such unrepentant war criminal Japanese.
Thus how can this article writer got such prestige privilege to meet Jp princess(who has become a commoner after her marriage with another commoner), who know nuts that even their PM Abe is caught surprise in sell out by Trumps?
And then he tried to put an idiot like Trumps on equal status with Xi & Putin, stating all non sensical points is too meaningless to read or discuss.
The UK just tried to force the crew of an Aeroflot plane off the plane and to give the UK police unfettered access to the plane by themselves. The Russian pilot stood his ground and stuck to the rules that said the police could not do this. The Russian diplomats who are still in the country intervened and apparently explained these rules and stuck by them.
Undoubtedly, the UK police were trying to do what western police always do. That is to plant evidence on someone they’ve alread decided is guilty. My nefarious mind reasons that they were about to plant some Novichuk on the plane, then find it and claim that the Russians were about to launch another attack.
“As I have mentioned in the past, the western indifference to the truth is something very ancient coming, as it does, from the Middle-Ages: roughly when the spiritual successors of the Franks in Rome decided that their own, original, brand of “Christianity” had no use for 1000 years of Consensus Patrum.”
I’d looked over the orthodox link. Predictably enough we find the Orthodox themselves conveniently tossing away the Consensus Patrum, particularly when it comes to the heresy of heliocentrism that the Catholic Church and Popes condemned. And in the year 2018, science has vindicated the Papal and Holy Inquisition for defending the correct Biblical model of Geocentrism held by the Fathers and Scripture. Heliocentrism was never proven. And is in fact even more demonstrably false given the findings from 3 separate CMB probes. This was documented and exposed in the film ‘The Principle’, for which the only effort put out by the scientistic establishment was fake news in the form of denials from certain embarrassed atheists based on a twitter hoax that they had never done any interviews or that they had been manipulated, but then had to retract when it was demonstrated that they in fact did in fact participate, and get paid for their views where they openly exposed themselves. That and accusing one of the creators of holocaust-denial and anti-semitism, which was also nonsense. The Orthodox further have moved far from the Fathers on other issues such as divorce and remarriage, which Christ calls Adultery. Period. Not that the Catholics, under the reign of Francis have anything to boast about, especially considering the heretic continues to deny the existence of Hell. Though there is open discussion about whether Francis was ever validly elected Pope at all.
“Scholasticism and an insatiable thrust for worldly, secular, power produced both moral relativism and colonialism (with the Pope’s imprimatur in the form of the Treaty of Tordesillas).”
Heaven’s forbid that the Pope broker a treaty to keep the peace between nations, and aid colonizing the New World so as to bring Christ’s Salvation to other peoples. But I guess all of us sitting here in 2018 can with our prejudiced and oh-so-enlightened globalist/multi-polar secular worldviews have the right to cast the first stone about how nations and politics of the past conducted affairs?
If we’re going to play a tit for tat game, let it be known then that Russia’s problems with the West today are a direct result of its own past errors. For falling prey to Islamic invasions and thus moving into schism from the rest of Christianity, tossing out the Pope and replacing him with a Ceasar-Pope, then overthrowing her own monarch, the Tsar, and murdering his whole family for Communism, then spreading the errors of Communism to the West, killing the clergy, destroying the family unit etc. Anyone imagining the West is really strictly ‘Capitalist’ must not have noticed that most of its issues are due to government centralization and decision-making and funny-money-printing that has gone far past meaningful regulation, into crony-capitalism with all of the power and terror of its prior communist opponent in Russia, whose errors include hatred of the Church, of the clergy, of motherhood, and theft of property and labor of her own people. All Communist errors now under the banner of an American flag. Also a European flag. etc.
And make no mistake that before Russia, revolutions similar occurred in France and elsewhere, which likewise even led to the infiltration and financing of the Revolutions in Russia. Always for the people of course, especially the poor, who always had an ally in Judas Iscariot.
So, according to the Mother of God at Fatima, Russia today is a victim of Russia yesterday. Way back in 1917. The consequences are simply coming around again to bite Russia in the butt. And of course Russia does have equal cause to blame the West for what happened to her, and these would also be true and we can keep going all the way back to Adam, Even and the serpent in the garden.
Back then the Communists bled their people to maintain a socialist state. Today, the socialist needs of the West were fed by bleeding the people of other nations before running out and having to bleed their own again. Which is the way of all empire-expansions before it. And then inevitably leading to their downfalls.
The Church and Popes (prior to the Vatican II insanity) taught rightly the same multi-polar idea Putin speaks of now. Smaller individual states. Economic systems that did not deprive men of the just wages of their labor but by principles of subsidiarity that each man labor by sensibly regulated. That one work at least the minimum amount necessary to live without another cutting into his hours. That corporations not grow too large and be limited in which areas they operate so that others have opportunity to also produce the same opportunities with reasonable allowance for competition. And ABSOLUTELY NO USURY. Etc. More can be said, but you all can seek this out on your own time. The other thing of course was that Family and Monarchy be upheld for social order and to reflect Heaven. If there is to be any global government, it would only be under the reign of Christ the King. Anything else is just Babel.
Therefore considering Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, that therefore those who represent Him, from Pope to Bishop to King therefore have a mandate from Heaven to reasonably expand and seek out other nations to bring them the Gospel.
All this no doubt sounds absurd and insensitive and horrible for secular ears, but such actions were consistent with a West that by and large logically practiced what it preached in Christianity.
If there’s one thing the East can offer the West, it would be whatever good efforts are being made to restore Christendom. Seek the Kingdom of God first, and the rest shall be added as a natural consequence. The Catholic and Orthodox Church should be uniting to end the schism and sort all its crap between them out. Sadly, however, even I would advise the Orthodox to ignore Francis and the current batch of ecumenical fools in the Vatican today and wait for better times. The best opportunity to work together was back in 1929 when the Mother of God made it known to the Pope to Consecrate Russia. But drunk on the secularism and modernism of the 20th century, they ignored her, and sought peace not by divine means, but by human action and politic. Useless. Now the consequences – the errors of Russia being spread, the rise of global communism via democracy, war with Russia and the annihilation of nations – have already occurred with some being near at hand.
The current situation turns upon the narrative of nuclear war. I have written to you recently to consider that narrative may be flawed. Nuclear weapons may well be yesterday’s news and to consider, “What if they are?”
One of the characteristics of the supposed, so-called scalar magnetic weapons is to suppress nuclear reactions at a distance-a considerable distance. Such a capability could prevent nuclear devices from exploding and return the world to something resembling the state before 1945. At least it would do so on the face of it.
Of course, the new weapons, in fact, would be far more capable than nukes so the MAD doctrine would still obtain if both sides have these weapons. If one side has them then the world is lost to the other. If the West has them alone a good case would be made for the conquest of Russia and China in the immediate future for such weapons would give the possessor total control of the battlefield. Given the state of the West why would they not call Putin and demand surrender against instant annihilation?
However, the argument of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Bearden was that the Russians do have scalar magnetic weapons and the West does not. This is perplexing for the natural assumption is that the West should already be the vassal of the Kremlin. But if you are right the Kremlin and, presumably, Beijing, do not want to rule the world. If nuclear war were to breakout such weapons would have to be used which would make them public and the new standard for military technology.
Russia and China would be forced to occupy the West in some sense to control the resulting chaos. What would this do to these states? What would it cost these states to found a world empire to confound the ambitions of the West? Could these states swallow the West without doing immense damage to their current culture and civilization? I think not. There are three conclusions under this scenario:
1. The Russians have absolutely no reason to fear the West militarily given sole possession of such weapons. They can temporize as much as they like from a military point of view.
2. They will expose that they have such capabilities only if they are forced to by the most dire circumstances for, short of conquering the world, they would only set off a new arms race which would destroy their superiority in the new weapons and put themselves at risk. Arms races in publicly known technologies which are obsolete do not count.
3. They are in danger from social and economic pressure which may create internal unrest.
The West likely knows this. As it is you have argued that the West cannot destroy Russia (or China) without destroying itself. With the argument above the West cannot destroy Russia, period, but can only assure its military defeat and, the important point, without seriously damaging the planet.
So what would you think the West would do if it faced acknowledgement of total impotence, militarily, and, out and out conquest. possibly, yet, also know the enemy would be very reluctant to carry out such a conquest.
The scenario argues that the West can, short of military action, push Russia and, possibly, China very hard in the hopes of organizing internal collapse from the social and economic pressure. They have played this game before and have only total defeat staring them in the face as you have already mentioned due to the internal state of Western civilization. War under this scenario would end them but not irradiate them. In fact, true military superiority could leave the West physically intact.
Under these circumstances what do the madmen who rule the West have to lose? If they fail to destabilize Russia they go down to defeat anyway? If they win, they win the world. Why shouldn’t they take this as far as they can? The worse it is for them the more reason they have to take any risk to win.
However, the worse it is for the Cabal that rules the West the better off the world itself will be when this age ends. Given the thesis above you should pray that the West soon pushes the Russians too far. It is far too dangerous to display true military superiority and do nothing about one’s enemies. They will stop at nothing to obtain similar capabilities. Safety really does lie in empire though it may be a Pyrrhic safety. The question is whose empire.
The idea of a multipolar world is a chimera. At best a transient thing. Humans never tolerate distributed political power when they have the means to end it. Look what happened to American Federalism and that is only one country, not several. Both Napoleon and Hitler wanted to end the distributed power of the European states, but proved to have insufficient force available, yet Europe then fell to the Americans and British. From choice or necessity the concept of a multipolar world will fail. The states of the world will eat each other until only one is left. There will be empire.
This writing of yours is a consequential belief in the power of worst sides of the human being.
I met few idiots recently who answer all your 5 Qs with enthusiastic “yes”. And since half of the country voted for career apparatchik (in the worst sense of this term) with bloody hands….I am sure there are much more.
No doubt, China needs to step up, as does the rest of the world. Everyone needs to speak truth to power.
Russia has been bullied into a no-win situation.
That is, as the Saker states it, no matter how Russia responds, it will be seen as a trigger for further aggression from the USA-UK and their vassals.
This is the time for a “stranger” suddenly to appear in the school yard, backed up by a large group of quietly ready cohorts. I.e., China and the rest of the world’s people. It really is time to shut down the bully’s game with a quiet but extremely discomfiting show of genuine solidarity and strength. Solidarity among the rest of the world’s peoples and countries, in support of Russia, and world peace. Fingers crossed that the Saker is right about the stance of China.
The Brits were ever masters of smug superiority.
But many of them had/have winning personal traits.
What is interesting about May is that she is utterly charmless and has zero manners.
“Hag “is the best descriptor for her.
From this point of view alone one would think the Britons would shudder in horror at her.
She really wrecks the British “brand.”
As for the other countries of Europe on bended knee, I am at a loss to understand it.
Three cheers for Austria and Hungary. Perhaps the faded glory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire that was has given these countries a broader world-view and enough self-esteem to fend off the Anglo/USA mental poison.
Bearing the brunt of the refugee crisis confected by “the West” might also sharpen minds . . .
Well of course. “The Brits….” This is the sort of silly generalizing that is frequent in this blog. Let’s be a little more intelligently precise and meaningful. Do we mean the government during such and such a period? Or what? Is it really surprising that there are “some” Brits among the millions who have existed who have “winning” personal traits? I mean, really, what silliness.
Young Teresa May was charming lass.
Is it just aging or did her work changed her appearance so much?
From the Central- Eastern Europe the Countries that joined UK – USA and expelled the Russian diplomats are:
The countries from the same r gion that refused to expel Russian diplomats:
So why exactly you are cheering for Hungary?
May be we should remind the old saying: “A friend in need- a friend indeed”, although it will break the established mode of talk here.
Great moments in American political speech:
President George W. Bush once claimed that the enemies of the United States
“never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people – and neither do we.”
Thanks to the writer Binoy Kampmark who included that little gem in a recent column. https://www.counterpunch.org/2018/03/30/diplomatic-madness-the-expulsion-of-russian-diplomats/
People claim that Bush made yet another of his famous mistakes on that occaision. But remember, he was also sitting in on some secret high-level briefings, and that a constant claim of the government is that they know facts that the rest of us do not know. Perhaps the mistake was forgetting he wasn’t supposed to talk about that part?
There has been a huge amount of nonsense flying around this entire situation. In other words, situation normal in the propaganda bubble.
One bit of nonsense is May and others claiming that they’ve just crippled Russians spy networks in the west. Sorry, it doesn’t work that way. Deporting a diplomat will not cripple a spy network, and here’s why.
The diplomats don’t do the actual spying. Not unless you think a Russian diplomat just walks into a secret advanced lab and then gets shown all the secrets. Each country knows of course who the other country’s diplomats are, and follows them, or at least tries to, when they leave the embassy. They might disappear and conduct a meeting, but they aren’t going to be going into any labs or military bases to gather intel.
Instead, what happens is that they recruit others who are in the position to find the information that they want. Or more likely, they recruit others who then recruit others, and maybe another layer or two of that. But somewhere down the line, there is someone who is in the secret lab or on the military base who has been recruited to provide the information. This then gets passed up the chain of contacts, and might end up with a diplomat who lost his tail and picked up a flash drive from a dead drop who then sends it home in diplomatic messages.
So, if the diplomat gets deported, that does nothing to the actual spies in place who are actually getting the information. It might disrupt things for a week or two. But sooner or later there is going to be a new person from the agency who gets back in contact with the actual spy networks and re-establishes contact. Since not all the diplomats get deported, its probably just a short while until some non-deported diplomat is told how to go pick up the flash drive at the dead drop. In something like closing a consulate in Seattle or St. Petersberg, someone might have to make a trip. It might not even be the diplomat. Instead, the diplomat might make contact with actual spies in the same city as the embassy and get them to take the road trip to contact the actual spies who used to be handled by the now closed consulate.
But all in all, the notion that any of this disrupted Russian spying in the west is quite laughable. At best, inconvenienced might be a better word. But that doesn’t fit the needs of the Prime Minster who’s desperately trying to hold onto her job. Can’t really stand up and say that through the trashing of diplomatic relations and moving the world a step closer to nuclear war that we’ve succeeded in slightly inconveniencing Russia’s spies.
“I don’t see what Russia could do to convince the Empire to change its current course” Saker , Rusia cant do anything. The anglozionist are out for fight. The worst thing for Russia to do is to appease them then they will increase their rethoric and real war actions. Whenever next attack against Donbas occurs Russia should go and help rebels for total victory against the lunatics in Kiev ie go all the way to Kiev so the lunatics will give up once and for all. One step in the right direction was the last display of Putin about the advance missiles that can pulverize the anglozionists wherever they hide. The lunatics have to feel some FEAR thats the only argument they understand. “The rest of the world, led by China, now needs to step in to avert the war” I agree with that China should take more responsability and understand that its own sirvival is at stake.
Another beautiful, brilliant article, I must say even if we are accustomed to such from Saker. As the saying goes, absolute power corrupts absolutely, and after such a period west shows it’s own worst sides. These could be called the shadow of western mentality, the area of their deep fears. Bad enough as these are, they are, of course not he whole picture of the west. It has nice sides as well, only they’re nowhere to be seen in the western tops right now.
This is heading for a disaster.
On one side we have Putin saying- What is the point of a world without Russia?
On the other we have- What is the point of a world where we are not no. 1? And they have nuclear weapons plus a track record of using it.
Don’t forget that Rome destroyed Carthage- its was unacceptable as it demonstrated that an alternative toRome was possible.
> On the other we have- What is the point of a world where we are not no. 1?
if only it was so, Russia would gladly be first rate vassal like Germany and Japan.
In 1990s Russia was struggling to get that position, and reasonable elites in USA like Kissinger tried to cement it.
Sadly, for the West as it turned ot be it was and is not about “being no.1” but it is their about infinite and unchecked lust and despotia, and they see any idea of “constitutional monarchy”, of being checked and limited no.1, as personal insult and disgrace.
Saker, great article! Thanks.
Well… I have just watched the <a href=”https://larouchepac.com/”LaRouche 30th of March show. It looks interesting. However, I cannot see how the cooperation between China and the US could change the situation around the world if this cooperation just helps the empire to rebuild itself.
It is scary, actually… Trump wants to rebuild the infrastructure in the US. LaRouche suggests that China can pay for it, that is, Chinese business people (getting loans from the Chinese government).
I see that this could work. But, the US would have to raise taxes to pay back – meaning, stopping the wars and increasing the taxes of the rich.
The win-win idea seems to be good; but, the US elite may be looking at it in a different way:
1)Would the win-win China-US deal benefit business people anywhere, including the US – thus, helping the rich to sustain themselves and the financial system -, while benefiting China, as well, since they are the sponsors?
Perhaps, it is here, in this win-win policy that the opportunity for change the whole world is; but, how can China control, for example, the elite who owns the building industry in the US? Would this elite be excluded, so the Chinese could bring their own workers as they have done somewhere else?
2)Would this win-win China-US policy initiative remove the possibility of a war with Russia? Maybe, for a while… But, if it doesn’t change the system, in a short time, the US may get up and running again for supremacy! If the capitalist-imperialist system of greed and competition remains, the US will eventually resume its absurd hostility against Russia and will try to ruin Russia, again…
3)Thus, perhaps the main question is: if China and the US decide to do business, would the financial system remain, slaving people all over the world? Would the Third World remain, being robbed of its resources, with its over 4 billion people living in misery? That is, would the socio-economic system remain the same?
Could you or somebody with more insight comment on this issue? Thanks.
I noticed that somebody deleted the I had put at the end of my hyperlink, above. Am I wrong? Was it a bug? Or did you do it because you do not want to promote the site I was quoting? Could you please explain why? Your site and their site are very different (their site was given by a commenter in your blog!). You explain very well how Russia is resisting the US bullying – and saving the world in the process. There is no doubt about this. What Serbian girl says below is correct, and I also admire The Saker. You may not have realized, but, although now I use the pseudo-name Emily, I have been around for quite some time… Meanwhile, LaRouche is working with China, giving information about what could happen on that front – something that you also realize is important. I thought you were complementary, actually…

Actually I think web links submitting is not working properly within this forum. I had problems too in the past.
From the “help” on formatting:
link shoud be done so
Name of your link
But if “Name of your link” is different than “link-address.com”, it does not show correctly.
To show an example –
A) a link to “http://southfront.org/satellite-hunters/” with “Name of your link” just “Satellite Hunters”
This based on my experience will not work correctly when posted on this forum
B) a link to “http://southfront.org/satellite-hunters/” with “Name of your link” that is actual link “http://southfront.org/satellite-hunters/”
This based on my experience will work correctly when posted on this forum
Let’s see it now ;)
Hm this is strange, now I can not even get links working here.
Let’s try from HTML tutorial (“” are done so to show the sintax:

I don’t know who else provides such a deconstruction of current events within a historical, cultural & religious context. Brilliant. You are a very big flashlight in this fog of war, Saker. Hope you are well.
Slovenia did not take any action until now regarding “Skripal” case. Populist PoS “president” Borut Pahor, a creature without a spine, thinks “we should show solidarity with UK, EU and NATO” and expel Russians too. Without asking or consulting anybody. And for all his faults, FM Karl Erjavec to the rescue. He is strongly against taking any action before facts are known. And since we only have technical government recently, he says it does not even have authorization to do any such action. Domestic Natoist/Atlanticists (“right-wing” opposition) are strongly pushing for expulsion too. And FM Erjavec himself has said that there is strong pressure from EU and Cowboyland that Slovenia too must take punitive action against RF. So much about “democratic and against meddling in affairs of other countries” EU and Cowboyland! So if Atlanticist clique supported by clown president figure Pahor (who himself is “left-wing”, coming from Ex-Communist party) prevails there will be action against RF from SLovenia too. It doesn+t really help that Pahor is known bootlicker of US presidents …
Another thing they want to do in EU is “military Schengen”. It would allow moving NATOist and EU troops within all states of EU without asking / needing permission from local government / state. So much for “freedoms” in EU. Sounds more like occupation …
It seems that, even if Russia can make friends with the US, the aggression/bullying is shifting to the UK and EU… Perhaps, since the begining it was there and I didn’t see it…
Anyway, I agree with Saker that China can be the solution. I have no doubts that the Chinese government will do everything they can to stop a WWIII. It may work with the US; however, with the UK it will be more difficult, I tink…
Larchmonter445 i was going to say the same thing that you did about China/N. Korea. But, of course, not as eloquently.
China will allow N. Korea to unite with S. Korea when a peace is signed with the US, troops leaving (20,000 odd US troops are a joke, but a tripwire, militarily useless anyways)and, even more importantly, the THAAD missiles.
Old Macarthur, the best general the Yanks had in WW2 (Patton a close second) knew that America couldn’t win a land war in Asia. He wanted to nuke in Asia and at that time it would have worked. But, militarily he was right but morally, another crazy General; Truman was right to recall him.
But that’s the precise moment they lost their ‘Asian” dream, 66 years ago. The next round of generals .should’ve listened to Macarthur Vietnam would have been avoided.
Just like the ME the Americans influence is waning terminally in Asia..
I go on, sorry, the nest question what does Japan do? Australia?
We live interesting times.
US demands to sell shale gas to Europe in place of Nordstream II ring hollow. The US has neither the liquefied natural gas facilities nor the LNG tanker capacity to make any more than a dent in European gas demand.
Is the west worth saving?
I still believe trump is working to stop this
War against russia or china would have US power grid destroyed in hours
Meaning no water no food and rampant chaos in big cities. No way gonna happen. It will be proxies and proxies and proxies
Mr. Saker, your analysis is spot on, as usual. My question to you is, why cannot China and Russia form a strategic military alliance, stating that an attack on one is an attack on both. This is comparable to NATO’s Article 5. Wouldn’t the whole world take notice at that point? Those not in the West must realize China-Russia represent the future of this planet, and why then, would they support the West? And there are so many in the West who are on or near the fence, to realize the same thing. If there was a definitive shift away from the Anglo-Zionists, the US-UK would have to back down. I believe a formal alliance between China and Russia would achieve such an outcome.
The East cannot and will not save the West. Neither is true the opposite. The East tracian and scitian troops of Flavius Aetius did not save Rome, because Romans did not care anymore if they were saved or not.
The East and West (and South and North ) can only destroy each other. And the destroyers will build a totally new reality, both different from the previous East and West. As it was troughout history. Everyone can save to a time only themselves. Everything else is wishful utopia.
I’ll just nail 2 word, actually 3:
ARMAGEDDON AND ANGLO-ZIONIST, and 4th psychopaths.
1st you need to understand how psychos think, what’s their religion – isn’t it the theology of armageddon?
So, if you search y-tube vids, you’ll be surprised how far we’ve reached in revealing the revelation as false prophecy, and that is the only way to prevent nuclear arrmagedon, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY, remember it.
Once again: The Antichrist wrote The Revelation, and the pay day is approaching. Western sychos, aka pseudochristian zionists follow theology of armaggedon. The only way the east can save the whole world is this:
Wake up people, nothing has changed, it’s even worse: Antichrist wrote the Revelation/Armageddon to kill us as much as posible, and the time of dying has come back, which can be seen in newest nuclear threat.
Why I said: “today is worse?” Quote from counterpunch web site:
Do you need more in order to start listening? The Antichrist Wrote The Revelation.
I second Serbian, the Kabbalists and Talmudists of the world are conducting a spiritual warfare upon humanity with the aim of fulfilling the Book of Revelation that they (!) have written. I’ve been reading geopolitics daily with this eye since July 2012 and have only been proven right each time.
As Ben De Noon at Israeli News Live several times this year has mentioned that a cardinal has confessed that Rome created Islam as an antithesis. The Koran has an equivalent to the Book of Revelation which is very accurate and as soon as ISIS appeared I knew they were the “black flagged army” described in there.
ISIS is semiotics and named after goddess ISIS who gave birth to Horus: the Eye on the Dollar bill; the Novus Ordo Seclorum; New Worldy (secular) Order of spiritual Monism (of New Age type) that is to succeed this fake patriarchy of the pharisees.
Sun Tzu said:
Know yourself but not your enemy (or vice versa) and you will win one and lose one. Know yourself and your enemy and you will win in every single battle.
Obviously, when Putin repeatedly year after year asks “can anyone tell me why they (his Western “partners”) are doing this” he states the Kremlin does not know their enemy.
How can believers in the Abrahamic Creator believe in His existence but not believe in that He was challenged by 200 Fallen Reptoid creatures, that they have raped our “Eves”, interbred with humanity, and now have their followers just like JHVH has?
Not even the pious Iranians believe in the existence of His opponents and that they have their followers…
Thanks for putting that precious material in perspective so brilliantly, Saker. This piece of yours ranks among your very “bestest”…
I find comforting that China has become more vocal and much more assertive of late, devastatingly critical of the West like we had not seen in a long time. In these critical times, I see Russia and China as a remarkable force for the good of humanity. Unity and fierce resistance to the Empire gone mad are key. The next step I would say is to urgently entice all nations of good will to join that movement of liberation from imperial tyranny.
This is a moment of revival, Saker. More darkness only makes light shine more brightly.
Regards always. LR
