As I mentioned it yesterday, Biden said something rather weird yesterday. He said:
Quote: “Russia will be held accountable if it invades and it depends on what it does – it’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having to fight about what to do and what not to do, but if they actually do what they’re capable of doing with the force amassed on the border it is going to be a disaster for Russia if they further invade Ukraine,” Biden said, adding that Russia has overwhelming superiority over Ukraine”
What in the world is a “minor incursion” anyway???
This was Ze’s reply:
Of course, hearing Ze refer to country 404 as a “great power” is cute and hilarious as it gets.
But the real question is this: did Biden just not understand the possible implication of what he said, is this just a case of dementia, or did he inadvertently reveal something which is being worked on behind the scenes?
After sounding about as negative as possible yesterday, today Bliken has just suggested that his scheduled meeting with Lavrov tomorrow in Geneva will show how things really stand.
Wait! I thought that there was nothing to discuss, but it turns out there might be??
Could Lavrov and Biden try to find a common definition of “minor” (as in “minor intrusion”)?
I don’t think so. Here is why:
- Russia has no need or desire for ANY type of incursion
- Russia can totally defang the Ukronazis without moving a single soldier across the border (according to specialists, this would take less than a week)
- The Empire has waged a total but “short of kinetic” war against Russia since at least 2013 and that all happened while Russia did not move into the Ukraine. If no incursion results in such a sustained campaign by the West against Russia, how would a “minor incursion” make things better and placate the crazies?
- And if Russia decides that the united West is already maxed out on its anti-Russian policies, why limit yourself to a minor incursion? If, say, Russia liberated the LDNR, the rest of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, and all the Ukrainian coastline on the Black Sea, something the West would surely describe as a “major invasion”, would the consequences for Russia by the same as those following a “minor invasion”? The point is that the US has expanded all of its sanction options, any further escalation would threaten the entire international economic system and strongly increase the risks of a fullscale war.
What most observers are missing is this: the current tensions are not at all about the Ukraine, or even about NATO. They are about a new, different, new world order. The US wants to hear nothing about it. Neither does the EU. The West is absolutely and categorically opposed to any new international order. What they want is a “rules based order” in which, of course, they alone get to make all the rules.
But for countries like Russia (or China) the current world (dis)order is categorically unacceptable.
So what is really at stake are two world views:
- Western world view: the West is the the crown of creation, the shining city on the hill, created by the Master Race before which all the “inferior” human societies need to bow and accept their dominion. Furthermore, what is allowed for that Master Civilization is not allowed to anybody else and if/when any country begins to act in way which shows that it thinks that what is allowed to the West is also allowed to everybody else – then this country/nation needs to be taught a lesson and crushed. You could call this model a “Kindergarten model” in which one adult teacher (the West) is tasked with supervising and educating a classroom of ignorant, immature and rowdy kids (the rest of the planet).
- Zone B worldview: the same rules apply to everybody, there is no “exceptional country” with special rights out there. Furthermore, all security must be collective, that is to say that if you point a gun at me and I am disarmed, not only am I threatened by you, but you also expose yourself to my desperate actions to survive, which just might include killing you before you can pull the trigger. Finally, a legal/moral rule only deserves respect if it is equally applied to all parties (if it is not, it is, by definition, hypocritical). You could call this model a “fraternal model” in which children from the same Father (God) act in a brotherly way towards each other because they recognize their common humanity (fraternity).
Those two models are, of course, totally and categorically mutually exclusive, hence the Zone A and Zone B we see today.
By the way, in the fraternal model, which is horizontal, all countries ARE equal in rights and obligations, being equal in their nature and essence, while the Kindergarten model is highly hierarchical and absolutely implies that “some are more equal than others”. For the true believers in this Kindergarten model any discussion of equality is a dangerous road to chaos and anarchy. So yes, while they speak a lot about freedom, in reality they both hate and fear it like a very dangerous thing (God forbid the slaves would revolt and decide to kill the plantation owner!).
Another interesting aspect of the current crisis is this: both the US and the UK have publicly admitted that they have sent “advisors” to the Ukraine and both the US and UK have admitted sending weapons to the Ukraine. Problem: the Minsk Agreements‘ point #10 specifically states mandates “to withdraw illegal armed groups and military equipment as well as fighters and mercenaries from the territory of Ukraine” while the additional memorandum states that “all foreign mercenaries” must be withdrawn from the conflict zone. Now, OF COURSE, the noble defenders of democracy, freedom and peace worldwide (aka US/NATO “Axis of Kindness” forces) are not “mercenaries” (even though they are paid killers who do not defend their own country), only Russian volunteers in the LDNR are, at least that is the West’s position on this issue. But for any mentally sane person it is pretty clear that the West is in clear violation of both the letter and spirit of the Minsk Agreements. So what does that mean for Russia?
It means that both the Nazi-run Ukraine and the collective West don’t have (and never had) any real desire to abide by the Minsk Agreements, in spite of the fact that the latter are backed by a UNSC Resolution (making them legally binding and mandatory). Again, under the Kindergarten worldview, even the UN is just one more “small, rowdy kid” which can be totally ignored or told to shut up and behave.
Tomorrow Bliken and Lavrov are supposed to meet.
Blinken would have made a terrific tailor or small shop owner. But as a diplomat he is truly sub-zero. And that is true for ALL US diplomats and officials. Yesterday a former Russian negotiator was describing his impression of Viki Nuland as a “dumb broad” who was completely ignorant of the world affairs she was in charge of dealing with on behalf of the USA. Here is what Andrei Martyanov wrote about “US experts” from the USA: “bar some few exceptions, US academe, including those who specialize in Russia are not experts. They are narrative-mongers, majority of who have no serious skills, background nor experience in anything they try to “analyze” about Russia–this problem is systemic and is due to a complete corruption of the America’s education, especially history and military history and over-saturation of the American body-politic by people without any serious education or lawyers. It is literally the situation of auto-mechanic with vocational school performing an open heart surgery and thinking that he knows what he is doing. You can easily predict the result, for a patient“. I can only fully agree with this opinion.
I think that the intense stupidity, arrogance and crass ignorance (not to mention a major delusional narcissistic and messianic sense of invulnerability) will play a key role in what happens next. The AngloZionist propaganda machine has been spewing such a hate-filled and totally paranoid propaganda against Russia and Putin that this propaganda has become a foundational principle of the West’s foreign policy. Even if Biden gives Putin a tiny little mini-concession (say using transponders of NATO aircraft) the Neocons and Neolibs of the War Party in Congress will absolutely crucify Biden for being “weak” and “caving in to Putin”. Considering that Biden has been an absolutely awful president which has only failures to show for (not even a single semi-success) and that there will be a Congressional election the USA later this year, any mentally sane agreement, however unlikely, between Russia and the USA will be declared a “capitulation” which will bring all the flag-waving idiots to vote for the GOP which, right now, looks even more insane than the Dems.
Yes, a miracle can happen. But what I am observing in the past two weeks or so, and today, are not at all signs of something reasonable being worked on but, rather, a hysterical attempt by the rulers of the Empire (and their minions in the EU) to defeat reality by pretending not to notice it.
That never works and it won’t work this time.
I hope tomorrow will prove me wrong, I REALLY do.
But in my strictly personal opinion, I don’t even see the point of Lavrov flying to Geneva. I think Russia needs to stop talking to the West the same way she stopped talking to Ze and his bloody clowns, and only act unilaterally (towards the West, of course, not towards Zone B!). There is nothing military or economic or political which the US/NATO/EU can do to Russia, so why not simply ignore them.
I would nicely and politely close the Russian diplomatic representations in the West, ditch idiotic or toxic organizations (like the COE or the WTO), and focus on collaborating with the sovereign nations in Zone B.
As for the West, Russia can let it self-destruct, which it is already doing at a maniacal pace anyway.
Sooner or later (probably the latter), the collapse of the West will generate new leaders who will have to rebuild the West on a new basis. Then will be the time to talk to the West again. But until non-entities like Blinken, Borrell, Stoltenberg or Baerbock remain in power, I see no point in talking to them.
Finally, the Communist Party in Russia has filed a law to be voted on by the Duma which asks the President to recognize the LDNR. I think that the chances of this proposal are very high. Interesting stuff.
“..if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having to fight about what to do and what not to do”
This could be a trap. A very unpopular president often likes shooting to reverse his fortunes.
I agree that Biden could have said the “minor incursion” remark intentionally. Maybe to send a message to other NATO members, maybe to try to confuse Russia, maybe to inure the Western audience to USA doing nothing when Russia acts.
In my opinion, it is all just noise, whose decibel level is getting higher as the deadline looms and the total collapse of the West becomes imminent. When someone who fears for his life and an existential threat to him looms prominently (ie: now) and he knows it, the noise volume rises and his utterances becomes more shrill. It is the fear talking.
The moment of Truth approaches wherein the delusions of supremacy of the US, NATO and the west in general have reached the boundary condition of Reality. Delusions of Grandeur and Supremacy will be obliterated by “Real Wokeness” of true Reality. For too long have the psychotic “elites” of the west been in their own VR of being legends in their own minds. Time to wake up.
Jacob’s Ladder and others reminded us how US Ambassador to Iraq April Glaspie tricked Saddam Hussein on July 25, 1990.
These were her duplicitous words, “We have no opinion on your Arab – Arab conflicts, such as your dispute with Kuwait. Secretary [of State James] Baker has directed me to emphasize the instruction, first given to Iraq in the 1960’s, that the Kuwait issue is not associated with America.”
So it may be such a deception.
Of course Russia will not fall prey to such worn out tricks.
And as you said, if steps must be taken, it is not likely going to be minor.
However the show must go on, and they are running out of time.
And in the age of crisis actors and control of the media horn.. they can craft the “minor incursion” they desperately need for western consumption.
They may not even need real actors in the age of CGI and green screens.
It may be unfortunate, but this certainly looks like an accurate view of what is going on.
really great magicians entertain their audience by misdirecting their attention. look over there while the rabbit appears over here. the west is obsessed with russia crossing the ukrainian border to rough up their pals.
if mr putin is anything at all he is a great magician and i expect this time will prove no different.
syria, belarus, kazahkstan all done lighting fast and somewhat or wholly unexpected. force applied with precision and care to achieve the needed results. mr putin does not appear to even own a sledgehammer (a meat clever absolutely) unlike his opponents in the west.
i expect based on history whatever decision he makes will be implemented with speed, elegance, precision and be very uncomfortable for his opponents as they continue to draw maps of the ukraine and where the russians will enter with their crayons.
While Putin and his generals certainly hold ‘home-field’ advantage, and have successfully thwarted several attempts to cause the Russian military great pains in Belarus and Kazakhstan, I’m guessing Putin will understand that these are very crafty and resourceful people he is ‘playing chess’ against and not to be under-estimated.
Putin’s opponent is not Biden. Nor is it the loons that are spending the US into oblivion while pushing ridiculous genocidal agendas. Nor is it the dumb geriatric war-happy puppets in Congress and Senate. Putin would wipe the floor with this sorry bunch. His adversary is far more dangerous. This adversary is used to manipulating countries to suck financial economies / resources dry, and solidify power through dominating all political, legal, corporate business enterprise, educational, media, social, and military institutions. Nordstream2 spells the end of their plans for the gravy train with respect to the hugely profitable global LNG market, and they are freaking the eff out.
US/NATO is running out of options. Final moves are being made with utmost care. Not with crayons. I’m sure they have carefully calculated strategies that change dynamically based on Putin’s moves, or any number of variables.
The smart thing to do, would be for US/NATO to abide by the agreement made at the fall of the Berlin Wall, removing NATO-deployed weapons systems out of the Russian sphere. This would immediately diffuse the tension. All sides could then work jointly on a mutually beneficial arrangement.
But, you know; chance would be a fine thing. Greed and hubris has infected these people. They are blind to the truth and believe their own bs.
“minor incursion” – if it is a clear false flag I’ll reserve the option to ignore it.
But that assumes Biden is even competent enough to poorly explain something he genuinely intended to say.
It’s probably just muddle speech.
With “crippling sanctions” NATO would cripple itself:
“Russians and Russian companies owe European banks US $56 billion. If Russia would, in fact, be suspended from SWIFT loans could no longer be serviced. On the other hand, EU companies and financiers have €310 billion in assets in Russia. Its exclusion would thus directly impact European companies. Russian gas deliveries to the EU must be paid. If this is no longer possible the EU’s gas supply would be in danger. The consequence could be a dramatic increase in gas price on a global scale – at a time when energy prices have already skyrocketed.
If a report in the German journal “Handelsblatt” is true, the question of shutting Russia out of SWIFT is off the table.
If the West’s sanctions are to be “effective,” the economic consequences at home – particularly in the EU – will certainly be meaningful, warns Tom Keatinge, a financial expert at London’s Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).”
Good comment. If the U.S. goes for the SWIFT option or the severe sanctions option (including blocking NS2) both the US$ and the EU will suffer most of the damages.
China and Russia are both aiming towards a de-dollarization of the global economy. Hopefully they can do it without the nuclearization of the conflict.
Russia’s sovereign wealth fund ($650 billion) has 60+% investment ($390+ Billion) in the Empire’s sphere. So who has an upper hand?
Ah yes, another pro-western troll. Please go ahead and tell us what would the EU do if Russia halts gas supplies and goes to the court over its investments in the West?
If the EU and the UK tries their Venezuela tactics against Russia, that’s going to cost them dearly because it would show that they’re not reliable trade partners. Also, expect a whole lot of cyber attacks which would cripple the western financial and economic infrastructure.
@Man With No Name
Calling someone a troll requires more than just a disagreement in an analysis. You should refrain from that.
Really, Max raised an interesting question about a liability for Russian investments. Hate it as much as you want, but those investments in the West represent one of the many pieces in the puzzle.
Reading in Voltaire.net about the Rumsfeld-Cebrowski doctrine (destroy almost every non-Western country state structure save for the exact BRIC so they can all be comfortably plundered as needed, ever since 2004 at least [also recall Wesley Clark’s comment on “we are going to destroy seven countries in few years]), and remembering a conference from François Asselineau explaining how the EU is from the very beginning a construct of the ANZ to cripple *continental* Western Europe for ever -so it can never interfere their imperial ambitions-, I wonder if a totally intended side-effect of this 404 crisis and all its counterparts (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Artsakh, now Transdniester….) is to definitely destroy continental Western Europe.
From a cultural standpoint there is not much more to destroy, so why not destroy it for good, make it even *more* plunderable (think of Micron in France selling every single strategic asset to the US and ANZ funds) until it is nothing more than ruins, like in the end of the V century…
why not destroy [the EU] for good, make it even *more* plunderable … until it is nothing more than ruins, like in the end of the V century…
There is no particular reason to suppose the Empire is so centered on just AUKUS that it would want to utterly destroy Europe. Why not ? 1. The EU adds to the power of the Empire, 2. The EU inhabitants will resist at some point – perhaps even as early as the French elections in April. 3. The sovereign nations can make a counter-offer which will cut through the propaganda curtain of the MSM.
As a mostly ignorant pleb and a westerner, deeply disillusioned by the endemic corruption and near-constant warmongering of the western powers, and who admires Russia and its leadership, could someone tell me why you repeatedly refer to Ukranians as Ukronazis? Is there some reference material someone could point me to to help me understand where that sentiment comes from?
High Curious, I am no expert on such matters you are inquiring about. Look up Azov Batallion here is a link:
They worship so called Eukranian Nationalist Bandera who was a follower of Hitler during World War II also for your kind information, they have candle light marches aka Nazi style. I hope this helps
You could try web searches on, say SS Galicia, Right sector (Pravy sektor), Stepan Bandera, OUN and the Azov battalion. That ought to get you going
Perhaps this picture will provide a clue:
The Greanville Post website has a number of articles about the Nazi cult in Ukraine.
Indeed,i think Azov having the same emblem as the wartime 2nd SS Division Das Reich is a give away, what gets me about those clowns is the Nazis classed them as untermench, they seem to be suffering from an extreme form of Stockholm syndrome, sad pathetic creatures.
The photos of Nazi flags over their military emplacements, in their parades, along with the Nazi salutes, the use of the SS tabs, the Schwartzkopf, the banners at their parades and the actual copies of Nazi uniforms man of them wear or the copying of Nazi names for this battalion or that are the most glaring to me although is much more. Banderistan all the way.
This article will give you a good idea of what kind of politicians the Western intelligence likes to install and support in Ukraine.
Dear Curious, a helpful place to begin your research about the Nazis in the Ukraine, EU, NATO and the U$ is a scholarly book by Christopher Simpson entitled “BLOWBACK: America’s Recruitment of Nazis, and Its Destructive Impact on Our Domestic and Foreign Policy.”
Also, lookup Operation Bloodstone.
Very good and recently published article:
Unbearable Imperial hypocrisy.
yes, what the empire wants is a “rules-based order” in which, of course, they alone can make all the rules. Was Biden’s little incursion to test Zelensky?
What Biden is doing in Ukraine is pathetic. The unfeeling world does not realize this. The US invaded Iraq based on false information and sparked a war that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. The US carried out air strikes in Libya for regime change. The US has armed militias linked to jihadist groups in Syria. The US has been bombing countries in the Middle East with drones for years. The US arms the Saudi and UAE dictatorships that commit atrocities in Yemen. The US gives more than $1 billion a year to the Sisi dictatorship in Egypt. The US occupied Afghanistan for two decades. That’s just for this century. I could also cite all the American actions in the Cold War to overthrow governments in Latin America and support dictatorships like Pinochet’s in Chile, etc.
When we watch the US question Russia in Ukraine, we cannot forget this history. Officially, the US government says it wants to defend Ukrainian sovereignty and be able to decide whether to turn to the West, distancing itself from the Russian sphere of influence. Fair. But why does Biden not take into account the sovereignty of the Yemenis in relation to the Saudi bombings? Are the Yemenis inferior to the Ukrainians? More recently, Donald Trump literally “gave” Western Sahara to Morocco in exchange for the Moroccan monarchy signing a diplomatic relations agreement with Israel. At no time have the inhabitants of the region, who want independence, been taken into account. The current American president has done nothing to reverse the decision of his predecessor. Is the sovereignty argument valid only in some cases? The resistance media should show this. It is suspected that the USA will not be confronted. There seems to be something more hidden behind everything, behind the scenes, that no one can see, anyway.
If he was worried about atrocities by dictatorships, the US president would have moved to impose sanctions on the Saudi Arabian dictatorship and suspend the billion-dollar allowance granted to Egypt.
Imagine if the Soviet Union had gone ahead and incorporated the United Kingdom, France and Germany into the Warsaw Pact and refused to make a commitment not to include Canada and Mexico in the alliance? What would the US reaction be? Even the Chinese economic presence in Latin America (see Chinese 5G throughout Latin America, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, etc.) is already seen as a matter of national security for Americans. Imagine missiles!
This stinking hypocrisy of the Empire is unbearable. If the new world order is already a fact, then really this is a Putin tactic, or a result of something from the Russian deep state!
Ukraine would still be a great power if its foolish leadership did not dissolve the Soviet Union!
That said, the “minor incursion” remarks were a Freudian slip. The actions of NATO towards Ukraine shows they only see them as a cow to be milked, & disposable tissue. Now that this cow has hit menopause it is time to dispose of it.
What truly baffles my mind is how Lockheed, Boeing et al FAILED to use Soviet technologies to advance their own technologies. Ukraine had world class rocketry, shipbuilding, and heavy-duty airliners. Ukrainian S-300s were better than the latest patriots; Tu-160s better than B-1, B-2, & B-52s; Moskit/Sunburn Anti-ship missiles better than Exocet, harpoon, or tomahawk missiles; etc!
I do believe that the Empire sees Ukraine as a part of Russia they relish in luring her up against Mother: in the end its all a bunch of “Russians” that are gonna die in a civil struggle.
“…As for the West, Russia can let it self-destruct, which it is already doing at a maniacal pace anyway…”
That’s another version of Napoleon’s ““Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”
Martyanov’s comment you quoted reminded me of a K.P. article today on
“Who in America makes money on endless talk about sanctions against Russia.”
“…In the United States, there is quite a tangible information noise associated with our country,” Olenchenko said. – The fact is that 30 years ago a huge number of Sovietologists were trained overseas, who now position themselves as specialists in Russia. And all these people need to make a living, which means creating an agenda. Otherwise, who needs their knowledge? But they do this not because they are such convinced Russophobes, but because they want to make money…”
A few other articles from K.P. are also interesting, such as,
“Who is really preparing for war in Ukraine: five sure signs”
Kiev is calling women between the ages of 18 to 60 y/o to register at recruitment offices. Those who don’t have a military ID, cannot be hired anywhere.
The anti-tank missiles supplied to 404 by the UK, are not just outdated, they have no military application in Donbass, which doesn’t have that many tanks. However, used in combat in the cities, can cause a high rate of civilian casualties. And the UK said they are “defensive,” posed no threat to Russia.
“The British supplied Kiev with anti-tank missiles of the “next generation”: We tell you what kind of weapon it is”
“…But professor of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky Natalia Semenchenko has completely different feelings. She wrote on her Facebook page: “Facebook exploded with thousands of likes, and I’m ready to cry”… She quoted one of the reports in the Ukrainian media: “The British Ministry of Defense provided Ukraine with its best weapons for contact city battles. The NLAW is an expensive melee weapon. This is a means of qualitative reinforcement for professionally trained light infantry that fights in the city …”.
US with Javelin, UK with NLAW, are arming the Ukronazis to continue more efficiently with their genocidal ethnic cleansing in LDNR.
Google-translate from mod:-
It really is more than at the time that Russia should turn the back to the West ((90%)) and only small-range representations. Qto qto pipeline ((Germany), to go to d’water and useless, because what matters to Russia is Asia. I $$$ ROPA, goodbye forever !!!
The USA has long wished for bridges broken between Europe and Russia. I don’t support.
[Finally, the Communist Party in Russia has filed a law to be voted on by the Duma which asks the President to recognize the LDNR. I think that the chances of this proposal are very high. Interesting stuff.]
Putin won’t allow it. At lease so far he has resisted this. And rightfully so. Russia will want all of Ukraine liberated and at least neutral if not openly pro-Russian. Recognizing Donetsk/Lugansk, especially in their current borders, accomplishes nothing.
I know it’s a fool’s mission to interpret the ravings of a crazy man, but perhaps, simply put by a simpleton, Loco Joe meant that if Russia conducted military actions in the Donbas it might be considered a defensive act to save ethnic Russian lives and sort of semi-tolerated by mere conventional military reprisals from the West. However, if Russia dares to attack anywhere else in Ukraine, especially wherever NATO forces may be deployed that might even be considered grounds for a pre-emptive nuclear strike.
Even a WWII-level ground assault by NATO would compare to no more than a flea bite. I mean the imbecile makes the stakes of a “major” transgression seem absolutely dire. What is the only response more dire than a full-on ground assault by NATO destined to fail? The answer is Nukes!
Joe and his neocons still believe a nuclear war can be won. He understands nothing and speaks only gibberish. His excuse is senility. What makes his neocon minions think only they are right and everyone else is wrong about their means, methods and consequences to pay for their madness? Russia has had a neocon gun pointed at its head for the past eight years. They’ve finally promised their would-be assailants (their formerly respected “partners.”) to put the gun down or else, and this time they mean it. The world should know whom to blame if the promised fight-to-the-death ensues.
Dear Andrei, you wrote:

However, what about the “security guarantees” Russia asked for? Could Russia simply forget this issue?
In the past Lavrov has said that the dispute between the West and Russia is not ideological, by which I suppose he means something like the clash between communism and capitalism. However, I think there is actually such an ideological dispute, namely the clash between the “rules-based order”/U.S. imperialism and multilateralism/international law.
A good summation and agree that the Empire is “pretending not to notice” Russia’s security proposals. The Empire follows its modus operandi of talks and ignore Russia. Russian diplomats have repeatedly fallen in this Empire’s trap of talks and agreements, without significant outcomes and overall negative impact on their security (nearly zero ROI). This has led Russia be exposed on the multiple fronts and its security threatened.
NATO (North Atlantic Terrorist Organization) is the mercenary arm of the current world (dis)order. Another, offensive weapon of the Empire is its economic (financial) terrorism. China, Russia and other nations that want to be Sovereign will need to face and neutralize the terror of the Financial Empire to build a better world order.
As long as, Russia continues to sell its resources in the Empire’s currencies ($, €, £), it is subservient to the Empire and funding its foes. Until it changes this dynamic Russia is to blame for its situation and can’t achieve a new, different, better, new world order. “You’re your own worst enemy.” The day Russia sells its resources in the Russian ruble to the West it will have risen, until them it is kowtowing to the current world (dis)order.
It is good to see Russia’s central bank finally proposing ban on crypto trading and mining. Russia moves very slowly. Wasn’t Putin exploring selling Russian gas for Bitcoins?
Russia’s central bank proposes ban on crypto trading and mining
Remember as Rene Guenon was predicting about a century ago we were heading towards a period of INVERSION it meaned that when the ectoplasm Biden says Putin is going to invade Ukraine, he knows that the Russian President he’s not in fact interested in Ukraine but the West narrative is we pretend he is.
As the Saker points out rightly what Biden is desperately trying to do is to impose to the World Order of the Davos and the Globalists agenda. Fortunately it’s too late and the USA doesn’t have the military might to do anything else than to pretend and brag.
Let see tomorrow how the top world diplomat Sergei Lavrov is going to teach a lesson to the law student rookie Blinken.
It should be risible if the situation wasn’t so dramatic.
Who wants a Russian invasion of Ukraine?
Yesterday a wrote a short comment on the prospect of war in Ukraine.
1) No party to the conflict is planning an attack.
2) Everyone believes that the opposing forces will attack.
3) War can start just from someone sneezing at the wrong time.
4) If a war starts, both parties will accuse the other party of having started the fighting.
5) If any party actually wants to start a war, it will do so by staging a false-flag attack, and blaming the other party.
I thought the analysis was self-evident and mediocre at best, so I only posted it in a small Finnish-language Facebook group.
Today I have some new insights. The war will not start with a false-flag attack, but with a false-false-flag attack.
On January 14 CNN, White House press secretary Jen Psaki, DoD spokesman John Kirby and every Western media outlet was accusing Russia of preparing a false-flag attack in Donbass to serve as a ‘fabricated pretext’ to invade Ukraine.
Here is the CNN story as an example:
A totally different version of the planned attack is given by Donetsk defense ministry spokesman Eduard Basurin on Solovyov Live. According to Basurin the Ukrainian plan was to blow up some chemical factory in Donbass and accuse Russia of ordering the attack. A purported Donbass militiaman would then “defect” to Ukraine and release videos of the chemical attack and statements that they were ordered to execute the attack by Russian special forces.
Basurin’s statement may sound unbelievable, but it is exactly the script that I have seen played over and over again in Syria and Libya.
It is interesting that in both of the alleged scenarios the purpose of the false-flag attack is to provoke a Russian response and attack or invasion of Ukraine. I believe the version provided by Basurin is the correct one. Are the Ukrainians really so desperate for a war they have no chance of winning?
Blinken said that he won’t give Lavrov any written response. So hopes are very low.
I read that Russia deployed many warships from 3 fleets.
In the barents sea 1 destroyer 1 frigate 1 cruiser 1 oil tanker from the northern fleet.
Currently in Iran 1 oil tanker 1 cruiser 1 destroyer from the pacific fleet. These 3 ships are conducting exercises with iranian and Chinese navies. Then the 3 ships will sail to the Mediterranean sea.
Finally Russia deployed 6 large landing ships 5 ropucha and 1 ivan gren from the northern and baltic fleets. These ships are going also to the Mediterranean sea.
Russia also deployed 2 S400 battalions and several fighter jets in Belarus. Russia is also moving iskanders battalions.
Officially all of this is deployed for exercises. But I wonder if these are also preparations for a possible escalation.
I also read that 404 may be preparing a false flag.
“The press service of the People’s Militia of the DPR reports on the preparation by the Ukrainian military of sabotage “under a false flag” at the life support facilities of the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass. Among the goals and objects of the chemical industry.
The actions are planned to be carried out by the forces of the 8th regiment of the MTR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the guise of servicemen of the NM of the DPR and the MTR of the Russian Armed Forces.
All actions of Ukrainian saboteurs will be recorded on video with subsequent presentation as evidence in international organizations.
In order to implement the above scenario, six sabotage groups have been formed. They were trained by British specialists.”
And then of course more sanctions:
New package of sanctions against Russia presented in the USA
Republican Jim Banks introduced a new bill “to impose sanctions on the Russian Federation and for other purposes” called the “Putin Accountability Act.”
According to the Washington Post, it includes the following items:
▪️Declaring “Russian-backed” forces in Donbass as terrorists and recognizing Russia as a sponsor of terrorism;
▪️Prohibition on operations with Russian public debt;
▪️Measures against the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, including organizations associated with it and their shareholders;
▪️Stop spending on cybersecurity dialogue until the attacks on US agencies are over;
▪️Stop spending on dialogue on strategic stability as long as Crimea remains Russian;
▪️Sanctions against Russian officials and security officials, including the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko, Head of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova, Head of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino , head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, director of the FSB Alexander Bortnikov, head of the National Guard Viktor Zolotov and Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika;
▪️Sanctions against Russian businessmen: Roman Abramovich, Alisher Usmanov, Oleg Deripaska, Igor Sechin, Alexei Miller, Andrey Kostin, Gennady Timchenko, the draft further mentions VEB and related persons, as well as Dmitry Rybolovlev, Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven, Mikhail Gutseriev and Alexander Vinokurov;
▪️Sanctions against journalists: Margarita Simonyan, Vladimir Solovyov and Konstantin Ernst.
Were these the sanctions that didn’t go through?
The labelling of Separatist Republics of Donetsk & Luhansk as terrorists concerns me deeply.
Recognizing LDNR will change nothing at all(why not in 2015?), NATO will enter in force with another splendid pretext and occupy officialy the Rest of Ukraine which means 93% of ukropland +-.Even taking Odessa and all the coast up to Karkov(already a better option), would also change nothing in terms of having the biggest NATO base in Europe at a few kms of RF.It is too late. It is nothing of everything.
Even destroying all the mil + nazis of the all Ukraine will change very little. Targets must be the West including North America. No need to invade anybody just missiles and poseidon in combat position.
Military tech and if they double down ‘à la Erdogan’ shoot down a few NATO recon jets. What are they going to do?Not much, Erdogan did it and he is still in Idlib no?A few sanctions ok,but they are now reaching the maximum point.Nothing in reserve. Avoid zone A, make business with zone B only, which is largely enough(3.5 billions people).Close all diplo missions except maybe CH?No more journos, they can close RT in the west not a big loss anyway.Just keep the UN delegation…in Geneva.
No need to go to nyc every sept for the annual assembly, use zoom.
After his legal contract end(2024) terminate gas delivery via Ukraine, refuse to open NS2, only if Germany asked for with excuses, solid compensations in money and a higher pricing. If Germany waits too long, sorry guys but pipelines to Asia are on, we are sold out, ask the US for help, yes it is much more expensive but it was your vassal choice no?
And if not enough seizure of all Western companies assets + expropriation(commies will love that). China and India,Iran,Venezuela, ‘Stan’, maybe Brazil (under Lula again) will quickly replace them.No more rockets engines, titanium, oil etc…no more boeing or airbus orders(local or chinese one).
No more overfly rights for western airlines…etc
They will wait a while then when even more bankrupted they will cry their mother to make business with Russia again.
PAUSE silence…the US will not survive very long with no more Embassy in Moscow(and their batallions of spies). Not a single NGO must be tolerated.
Russia can checkmate the Financial Empire with a smart move. Vladimir Putin need to sign an executive order declaring Russia will only sell its gas and resources in Rubles! It will be happy to do currency swaps with friendly nations. Ignore the previously signed gas contracts like the Minsk agreement. Also, it needs to declare a Monroe doctrine for its security and put an embargo on its neighborhood nations that aren’t willing to sign a security treaty with it, like the Cuba embargo. This will be a game changer!
The EU, Japan’s,… foreign, trade and finance ministers will travel to Russia to sign the currency swap agreements as well as the security proposals. It will be great if after the Beijing Winter Olympics, China makes a similar announcement! De-Dollarize completely!
“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.”
What I found most revealing about Biden’s comments is that he let us know that despite all the yelling about a planned Russian invasion and massed troops at the border, the President is completely unsure what the Russians are up to.
The invasion narrative is just MSM manipulation.
Zelinsky says to Ukrainians, “It’s all hype.” RT has been playing this Zelinsky, Turkey, Putin thing. Maybe Zelinsky thinks he and the Ukrainians are being used(?) and wants out(?) Anyway, this is the article that actually shows a break between Biden and Ze.
The tone of Zelensky’s message confirms that Ukraine is now confronting the idea that USA isn’t a reliable defender against Russia.
Now everyone in Ukraine who pays attention to politics, especially the anti-Russian leaning Ukrainians, has seen their own western-controlled puppet president openly show frustration with the supposed protector.
This means that the seal is broken on the political support for the anti-Russian project in Ukraine. Now that a major crack has appears, more will surely soon follow as the further cracking up of support for this project will be propelled by fear for one’s safety.
Now, Putin just has to make the Ukrainians who don’t like Russia because Russia is trying to dominate Ukraine, that Washington DC is the one trying to dominate Ukraine in the way they fear Russia is.
Lavrov and Blinken are set to meet tomorrow in Geneva, and as this happens the Russian navy has been dispatched to the Med for exercises – which means lots of Russian ships cruising by vulnerable targets, including the European Atlantic coast and English Channel, all day long for several days.
President Raisi in Moscow hanging out with Putin in historical meetings also further contribute to Russia’s major major leverage in tomorrow’s meetings.
This is what it will take to get anything out of the west. But here we are. The next week of geopolitics is going to be interesting.
I’m channeling my inner Biden on ‘minor incursion’, I’d bet a poker chip he was thinking along the lines of … if we go all in on sanctions on Russia’s first move then we leave nothing on the table. In other words, Russia would have no disincentive to take the rest of Ukraine. ‘Hey, I’ve already been given the death penalty for kidnapping, I might as well kill the only witness to the crime’.
This is total nonsense of course, I am only saying the vibe I picked up from Biden’s comment and how ‘sheriffs think’.
But to absorb and provide assistance to a blatantly failed state full of Russian-hating Nazis is NOT a good course of action. It then also enforces this invasion propaganda that will spread Russian hate groups all over NATO-aligned nations.
The best course of action is to cut the head off the dragon. Head straight to the aggressor/bully and humble him.
I was amused by The Economist’s cover illustration. But I fear they made a slight mistake. Isn’t this the proper one?
The simplest thing that can be said about Biden is that his incompetence at the press conference (in terms of what neocon admin officials needed him to say) has actually lowered the short term tensions a bit. This is good. Delays in war, or attempts by bad actors to induce war, are always good.
Russia demanded the impossible in its Ultimatums.
It never expected any positive answer, much less in writing the guarantees it insists upon.
Thus, Russia had a plan it wanted to enact.
Timing is post-Olympics.
The US is in contortions over agitating Russia to invade Ukraine and the suspense over what Russia actually will do.
They are filling the MSM with their usual Russophobia.
The gap between delusion and reality is growing wider each hour.
Since no one has a clue as to what Russia actually will do, unless US/NATO/Ukies overtly creates a danger to Russia, the Donbass or a Russian ally (like Belarus), or Russian troops stationed in various countries, it is any man’s game to offer the Russia reaction to the dead end of Ultimatums.
A very large naval exercise from the Atlantic to the Pacific of Russian vessels and air power will be ongoing in Jan-Feb. Is this the best positioning for defense of Russian assets should some land action erupt?
What is the likelihood of a military action by Russia according to its own plan that would be short, powerful and produce the goals it seeks?
What would convince NATO to withdraw to 1997 lines?
What object lesson could alter the rigid Russophobia of US and Brussels?
Or have the Russians calculated that the West will start the action that will allow Russia a free hand to accomplish a goal (such as producing a strategic defeat in Ukraine, resulting in NATO retreating).
Is Russia using the baiting done by the US to try to get Russia to invade really turned into Russia baiting the US to make a mistake that permits Russia to act?
there is one question which is critical to what occurs.
washington knows short of using nuclear weapons it has no chance in europe to prevent russia from doing whatever it wants.
washington imo is terrified of being humiliated publicly thereby evaporating the carefully crafted image of exceptionalism adn all powerful it shows to the world once russia acts. the death of that perception will have unknown and unintended consequences for the world not just washington.
therefore has russia factored in this reality of their actions to secure their border? does russia at this point even care what happens to washington public image after all the gross insults they have endured? and lastly will washington double down and using tactical or more nuclear weapons once it has been shown to be an empty suit on the worlds stage after russia acts and they do nothing but furiously sputter in the press?
the loss of face for the usa elites will be something profound since they have backed themselves into a corner.
Terrific piece. The Empire confronts 2 intractable problems. Economic & military- we are seeing the rot/ putrefaction of late-stage American capitalism, which has progressed to the point where its very survival is contingent upon constant debt monetization (aka money printing) to prop up financial markets and the military. The FED has pumped circa $50 trillion to prop up Wall St and insolvent banks since the Global Financial crisis 2007-2008. This is becoming increasingly tenuous as this orgy of money printing and debt has created gigantic bubbles in every asset class- ‘everything bubble’, increasing inflation and threatening to derail the dollar’s role as world reserve currency and viability of western capitalism. What options do the US ruling/economic elite have at this point? If they stop money printing, the entire American financial system will collapse. After expending so much human and financial capital, it has proven difficult/impossible for the Pentagon to extricate itself from ongoing conflicts, as doing so is an admission of failure and by extension military weakness. Rather than pulling back, the ruling elite are allocating even more money to the Pentagon (2022 military budget exceeds $770 billion, a record). All factions of the American political establishment and the ruling elite they represent are enraged the China-Russia-Iran axis has reached economic and military parity with the US and becoming an increasingly bold impediment to US global power. Thus, repetitive, bellicose and reckless provocations in the Taiwan Strait/S China Sea, Persian Gulf, Ukraine/Black Sea are directed against China, Russia, DPRK (North Korea) and Iran. Bottom line- the ruling elite have no solution to the severe economic and social problems confronting US society. As the economic vise continues to tighten, expect more domestic repression/violence and war.
My respect for this site and its followers force me to declare the following for the sake of us all making accurate arguments.
The Fed does not print money. Money is created as credit by the private banks.
QE is not money printing. It is an asset swap. A sleight of hand.
Not enough credit has been created for a healthy economy since 2008 and the GFC.
The economy is transitioning from an industrial economy to an information economy with very strong deflationary implications.
The government has taken up the slack (need to keep spending) by growing ever larger.
The recent strength in the $US indicates a shortage of dollars in the global monetary system.
The inflation we are witnessing is supply side inflation, not monetary inflation.
Whether the supply side disruptions are coincidental or deliberate is a big question for me.
The money specialists I rely on believe it may be a response to a demand side shock.
The implication to me is that all or most of the big geopolitical issues are related to this collapse in growth potential and maintaining the status quo.
The monetary system is global and not controlled as imagined by the USA and Federal Reserve.
Both China and Russia depend on it functioning as much as Zone A countries. I believe they are making preparations for its demise. I suspect most countries are.
They both remain suspects until such time as they literally damage their opposition. I am yet to witness it.
I have heard them pay homage to the rhetorical drivers of the great reset (hint; certain science subjects).
I have seen Russia’s rise and rise. They now surely have their own MIC.
It all stinks to me, but I am only a little black duck.
If I have stirred any interest in learning more about the monetary system, I can recommend the latest episode of my favourite money men discussing this subject. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kgZ0oMdFuc
It may not convince you of the truth written above but it’s a good place to start.
The chances of war are close to non-existent. Of course Russia has no intention of invading Ukraine. Ukraine will not attack the Donbass without US permission. US permission will not be given. A conflict would jeopardize the economies of Europe and the US. NS2 will not be blocked and a disconnection from SWIFT will not be forth coming. The economic damage to the West would be too great. And no, the elites are not going to fly off to a bunker in Patagonia while Europe collapses. The business about a small incursion from Biden simply means that he understands he is in a weak position and thus does not want to provoke a wider Ukrainian war. It was not crazy gaffe; it was an admission of weakness–politically of course it was indeed a gaffe. It seems to be quite a mess–but: If I were to render a prediction for the meeting between Blinken and Lavrov beyond the generalities above, I would guess there may be a resolution. Nothing will transpire. Afterwards Blinken will announce that the Russians have backed down and promised not to invade. The media will parrot the line and Biden will be declared the new JFK. Of course this is fiction, but it doesn’t matter. The media will drown out alternative narratives and Truth will reign throughout the land. Incidentally, fear, tension and hysteria will continue indefinitely–that’s how the US does business. One final thought, I’m not so sure that the speculation about Russia turning Ukraine into rubble with missiles if they do something stupid isn’t just a crazy Russophile military fantasy. Why kill a bunch of people when you can just turn off the gas and bring Europe to its knees in a matter of weeks if not days with crushing energy prices? Lastly, the Dems are not desperate for a war. It would hurt, not help them. It would not rescue the economy, it would make it worse. And it will not save the Dems from defeat–they will lose on the basis of covid, inflation and the economy anyway.
The un-oiled or un-anointed group of people cannot stand for an Orthodox Christian nation to grow and prosper. They never did they never will. The Bolsheviks tried and failed and the so called deep state of the USA, Israel is at it again. Perseverance I might say. Good always wins over evil.
You wrote: “The un-oiled or un-anointed group of people cannot stand for an Orthodox Christian nation to grow and prosper. They never did they never will. The Bolsheviks tried and failed”.
For the record, it was the Bolsheviks who, despite the intervention (Интервенция) of a bunch of foreign countries amidst the bloody Civil war, were able to hold the country that was falling apart together and basically recreated it within its former (the Russian empire) borders.
It was the Bolsheviks who 3 yrs after the war, despite the devastation it brought on the country and its people, managed to rebuild the economy and brought it to its pre-war level.
Who else but the Bolsheviks (aka the КПСС) created the superpower, which was the Soviet Union?
Why do you have to regurgitate the endless lies told by the enemies of Russia?
It was the united Europe led by the Nazi Germany who started the crusade against the “жидо-большевистский режим”.
It is the same Europe, this time led the US, who is on a crusade now. It doesn’t matter that the “Bolsheviks” (aka the КПСС) are no longer in power. They are on the same mission – to destroy their eternal enemy, Russia.
Czar Nicholas was the last of Konstantin’s successors who followed Jesus Christ’s rule as a way of running the country. The Bolsheviks put an end to that.
After the Bolshevik devastation of the economy what the Russian people got was an un-free economy such as no property rights, no free speech and rationing, etc. These are not the conditions one should live under.
The superpower the Bolsheviks created was worthless. It was all about controlling, exploiting, and killing innocent people. Tell me if the Bolsheviks followed the rule of Jesus Christ this would be happening in the Soviet Union.
The enemies of Russia are the un-oiled or un-anointed big banker type not the common type people weather they’re from Europe or the United States. Weren’t the Bolsheviks or politburo thereafter 90% un-oiled members. These are not lies. You’re spreading lies.
Anyway you’re still loved by Jesus even though you’re critical of Him.
Czar Nicholas was the last of Konstantin’s successors who followed Jesus Christ’s rule as a way of running the country.
From a great distance in time and geography, two severe failings of this czar are obvious.
1. He did not keep his word with Stolypin, the Interior Minister in 1905. Instead, Nicholas allowed the land aristocracy to continue to run roughshod over Russia. So the czar himself sabotaged Russia’s industrial development so badly that when WW1 came along, the nation was utterly unprepared. This sabotage was obvious at the time.
2. Nicholas could have chosen to not enter WW1. I believe historians agree that for Russia, this was a war of choice. Yes, the French had funded the Trans-Siberian Railway and the czar might have thought this implied a blood debt, but other sovereigns in history have ignored such a “something for nothing” and thus managed to save their crown and country. I”m not entirely sure of the facts here, but I believe that in the 1905 Russo-Japanese War, General Rennenkampf refused to come to the aid of General Samsonov, which allowed Samsonov’s forces to be defeated. If that’s true, then the czar should have sacked one or two generals, and he did nothing. I invinte anyone else to comment on the 1905 disaster. I do know that this scenario did happen at Tannenberg in August 1914, when Rennenberg, commanding the First Army, refused to join forces with Simonov’s Second Army, even after a week of entreaties. The Germans cut down Simonov’s Second Army, killling 550,000 Russian soldiers. That was a massive defeat and it was entirely due to multiple failures of the czar, starting with his lies to Stolypin and to the Russian nations. My understanding is that only one Russian soldier in three even had a rifle, because the Russian arsenals were neglected by the czar. None of this tragedy is compatible with any notion that Nicholas II acted with Christianity. 550,000 in one battle. Nicholas greatly deserved to be executed, and the only tears should be for his innocent family.
This is off-topic. Please take to the cafe. Mod.
A zona A precisa fazer o “Great Reset”. O covid19 não funcionou, a ameaça do Clima precisa de mais tempo. Agora só resta um “false flag” cibernético que ocorrerá depois de qualquer ação da Rússia
. Zone A needs to do the “Great Reset”. Covid19 didn’t work, the climate threat needs more time. Now only one cyber “false flag” remains that will occur after any action by Russia
For Russia, it is crucial to somehow pass over this critical period without getting involved in any major conflagration. Russia can deal with if, I am sure, but it would be a huge and stressing distraction.
It would be interesting to see what the west would do if Russia just dropped NS2 (already paid), get out SWIFT voluntarily and close the embassies, leaving just consulates to service Russian expats, and start selling S-400, and last generation fast nuclear reactors, to Zone B partners like there is no tomorrow. I know, I am just dreaming. It is all more complex than it.
US/NATO countries will crack sooner than later. Europeans are begging China to save their economies, while US is sharping the knife to slice the European cows for BBQ.
The biggest fallacy is to think the West wants security. It is exactly the opposite. Even when there is no threat, they invent one. Even when there is no enemy, they will conjure one up. Fear and insecurity keep the MIC fed and the populace cowering.
Andrei nails it as usual.
I think Russia gave up on the West a while ago. They don’t even bother with any kind of PR. Like many readers here, this bothered me for a while. But now I think this is perfectly reasonable. There’s no point in making an effort to present a position if the intended audience is marinated in a zeitgeist of delusion and fully convinced only their opinion shapes reality
Not only is the West collapsing, it is being passed by Zone B at a breathtaking pace. I would not be surprised to see many emerging market countries pass the West in living standards and opportunities this decade. China and Russia will be larger than the US and EU combined. Economies like Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. all pushing ahead of the European economies and leaving them to rot in their administrative tyranny. And there’s nothing Zone A can do about it. The time that Zone A had any military, economic or political influence over Zone B is ending.
In observing Russia and her history I’m certain Russia has been carefully thinking through all of this for the better part of 20 years and has a very clear plan.
I don’t know what that plan is but I can speculate:
– Russia decided to work with OPEC knowing full well she would lead it
– Russia is the undisputed swing producer of oil in the world. Even though Saudi’s costs are cheaper Saudi needs at least $70-80 oil to survive as a country. Russia proved it can get by on sub-$30 oil.
– For the first time in it’s history OPEC has maintained full compliance. In fact many members are over-complying. No spare capacity?
– Russia’s economy is doing just fine with a prime rate of over 8%. At 8% prime rate most of Zone A goes into sovereign default, not to mention epic stock, bond and RE crashes. Russia has virtually no external debt, lots of gold and probably the most robust economy in the world. And all this while being sanctioned.
– The entire Zone A covid recovery was built on debt financed by money printing. It’s a mirage.
– China and Zone B have lots of demand for oil keeping a floor on the price.
About the last thing Zone A needs is an oil embargo by Russia. Sanctioning Iran was bad enough. $85+ oil is unsustainable. $100 and we’re talking major recession or even stagflation. They can print all the money they want but they can’t print oil. Perhaps rising oil/gas prices is the ‘pain dial’ Andrei has alluded to.
US State department post this hilarious “Press Release” about “Russia Disinformation Narrative”
So hilarious. Please check yourself.
“As for the West, Russia can let it self-destruct, ”
One smart move may be for Rosneft to write to Putin that he is losing money on NS2 because of all the politics so could the President please ask the Sovereign Fund to take it off his hands and mothball it so that he can divert those funds to other revenue yielding markets. Then it becomes a state property. The Eurocrazies then are forced to buy expensive alternatives until they are forced to negotiate. At that time, the crazies can be presented a bill for the cost incurred by their folly. This is a gas pipeline, not oil pipeline, so corrosion or other damage by standing oil in it is not a danger. Recurring expenditure on manpower to keep the NS2 in a ready condition can be avoided and at the same time a signal can be sent that we can do without your business. Then just stop taking their phone calls.
And this, about Navalny
“The Man Putin Fear” by Time magazine
If those idiot, reality detached “West” are not THIS dangerous and evil, I would almost think this is really cute and hilarious.
About a month ago I said to my sister: Everything what is happening now is creation of New World Order but not by Vatican script, where they want to keep slavery forever. Me, as Aquarius, sense what now in Aquarius age is slowly building new fundamental for real freedom and distraction of Vatican*s madness. I remained her what I told her seven years ago that what is happening then is just preparation for war to destroy Russia. The same what Stalin said: SSSR need 20 years to reach West or gonna be destroyed, Putin said. He got his 20 years and now we have different stories and actions. Very soon will stop with masks and other lies what introduce family members of Borgia and Medici who are owners of all pharmaceutical companies and kill people with poison. They warred masks because they had syphilis. ORDO AB CHAOS. Thats why I said Russians need to nuke those military bases in Poland and Romania
“Z” is “head of a Great Power”??? What’s he talking about? I think the poor b-gg-r has lost his marbles.
Well, he was a successful comedian, I heard. I’m sure that comment made half of the country snort and then snicker and smirk. Yeah, Ze, we’re certainly a great country! No jobs, no future, Nazi kill squads walking the streets looking for someone vulnerable to kill… A Great Nation!!! hahahaha, funny!
Trudumb also sent JTF2 (in minor quantity) to Ukraine the same day UK sent those weapons shipments, they’re likely training more Nazis.
I say, if tomorrow fails, bring those missiles (ICBMs/Hypersonics) to Venezuela/Cuba… and make it publicly known that subs are stationed in whatever coastal waters of the true aggressors.
Russia has shown enough people, and repeatedly begged for peace for upwards of two straight years, and for what?
Speaking of that one website (https://cybershafarat.com/2022/01/14/russian-nuclear-submarine-seen-off-the-coast-of-the-united-states/) that said a Russian sub was spotted in waters by USA, it is awfully vague and does not specify which coast it was spotted in, my trust of that article is slim to none. (https://english.pravda.ru/news/world/150057-russian_submarine/) This also talks about the same incident and is slightly more detailed.
However, this happened (https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1553343/Russian-Navy-submarine-missile-footage-video-kremlin-NATO-Ukraine-invasion-latest-vn)
Almost forgot & sorry.
RT interviewing President Ebrahim Raisi basically equates to Iran has established a deal with Russia. Perhaps that if NATO/US/EU instigate a war in Ukraine that they will join the war effort to protect Russia, Belarus and allies.
So if nothing happens prior to the Olympics, then Putin and Xi should be looking to establish a similar deal as well.
Several years ago a Russian sub entered the St Lawrence Sea Way, surfaced, took on fresh water, waved to the local fishermen, and left. Not a single dweeb at DND knew It was there…….defend against that!
So….if Russia makes lots of ‘minor’ incursions into Ukraine as opposed to one large one, then there will be no reaction from NATO ?
I like this logic. We are told that drinking a lot of alcohol is bad for us, but drinking a little bit is good for us. I am going to drink a little bit a lot of times, and can expect great health benefits !
And if will be a ‘small invasion’ false flag?
And if will be a CIA trap for Putin in the next Pechino games? (It will be a good option in a foreign enemy country)
The situation reminds me of an joke from my youth.
A sadist and a masochist are sitting opposite to each other in a train. At a certain moment the masochist cannot hold it any longer, and yells to the sadist “Beat me! Hit me! Torture me!”
Whereas the sadist delivers a fine smile, and says “No.”
From a certain point of view I have understanding that people of the stature of Lavrov will shrug their shoulders and stop talking, or at least listening, in the art of the nice Mark Twain quote in the article of Andrei Martyanov.
The question I would like to ask, is what is then the alternative. We may dislike all kinds of details of the UN and the UNSC, but nobody with a clear mind would expect it to be perfect (that may be the issue, oh dear).
And we all know that armwrestling on the table will eventually result in the table tipping over.
Let’s stop with that babble of ‘minor incursion’, it has no semantic value. You can say in words that a woman is ‘just a littlebit pregnant’, but we all know this is BS in a practical way. My hopes are still that at least there is some talking. If that stops then I really don’t know what will follow.
“The AngloZionist propaganda machine has been spewing such a hate-filled and totally paranoid propaganda against Russia and Putin that this propaganda has become a foundational principle of the West’s foreign policy”
They make things up and then believe them themselves.
And whilst Ze does this feigned worry about the Western MSM – the US sanctions the anti-NATO opposition:
“…Kozak, who owns several news networks and has already been sanctioned by Zelensky, is accused of using these outlets to criticize Zelensky, but the Treasury Department justified the sanctions against him by accusing him of spreading “false narratives” about the 2020 US election.
Kozak is a member of ‘For Life’, Ukraine’s largest opposition party. The party is headed by Victor Medvedchuk,…”
So any politicians and their media which are not anti-Russian or pro-NATO – must be removed. Now who is meddling in whose sovereign country and its elections?
The response from the Ukrainian opposition:
“Ukraine’s Opposition Platform – For Life (OPFL) party considers US sanctions against its members as an “act of international political terror.”
“I say this as the President of a great power !!”
Ze’s comedic training showing through there !!
@Sooner or later (probably the latter), the collapse of the West will generate new leaders who will have to rebuild the West on a new basis.
The citizens will eventually have to take back their country, armed w//the truth, the tooth, and the nail, one congressman and bill at a time, hope they are up to it.
”Biden said something rather weird yesterday. He said:
Quote: “Russia will be held accountable if it invades and it depends on what it does – it’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having to fight about what to do and what not to do, …”
The Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde, in an interview in Dagens Nyheter about her visit to Brussels next week to meet NATOs Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, gave an answer to this question:
”Maybe there will not be a major invasion – that they will take all of Ukraine. Probably there will be some kind of a minor aggression, fox example in the areas ruled by the separatist in Donbas.”
She also told that NATO is very keen to hear our views about the demands from Russia, and to inform us about how they will respond.
Maybe this will be an invitation to Russia to take a first step, that surely will be followed by military answer by Ukraine. Maybe it is part of a planned provokation to put the blame on Russia for the consequences.
“it’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having to fight about what to do and what not to do…”
I think Biden is referring to serious disagreements (a “fight”) among NATO member states about what constitutes a Russian incursion into Ukraine. It looks to me like an admission that, all else being equal, Russia has no intention of invading Ukraine. So the question for the West then becomes: what ‘infringement’ on the part of Russia can we agree on will trigger sanctions? NATO will never reach a consensus on this.
Considering that Biden has been an absolutely awful president which has only failures to show for (not even a single semi-success) …
“Biden” had one major success. He (they) ended the 20 year-long war in Afghanistan. In terms of myopic partisan American politics, that was a very big deal and of course he is taking flack for it. Bush the Shrub, Obama the Nobel Prize recipient, and Trump didn’t have the cojones or whatever. Ending this one war is the only good thing Biden has ever done in his too-long career, but it would be a mistake to not take note of the fact, and what it might portend.
Russia has the trump card with the pipelines. She can just set and wait with her hand ready to turn the valve back on for the shivering Germans.
I think when Ze says great powers he doesn’t mean his own country (Ukraine). Biden however is not the only leader mentioned no help for Ukraine should Russia starts shooting. EU won’t lift a finger except some symbolic gesture towards Ukraine and some statements of no value.
There maybe something brewing due to Russia’s demands and is absolutely positive for everybody but I won’t be too optimstic here either. The question is what would, if anything, US/EU would do if Russia starts shooting?
“Minor incursion” = “Take the Donbass.”
But “the old New Russia”, “the Black Sea coast” and/ or “regime change” … “No”
The problem is that neither the RF nor China have any interest in the “West” destroying itself – on the contrary…
The question is, how far is the RF, is China willing to go to prevent a possible suicide.
