Here are the preliminary results explained in simple, plain, English:
1) Putin easily wins by a landslide and is *more* popular than ever
2) The Russian Communists and Zhirinovsky have reached terminal irrelevancy
3) Only 2.6% of Russians are pro-USA and generally pro-West (Sobchak+Yavlinsky)
4) The entire AngloZionist anti-Putin campaign has miserably failed
5) The Empire has two choices left: go to war or fold
6) If the Empire choses to to go war it will face a completely united Russia
And here are the detailed scores as of 22:51 UTC:
All praise to God in the Highest! God is on the side of Russia and President Putin.
Thank you Lord . Thank you Almighty for the victory of Putin.
yup. that sums up my feelings too :-)
Russian sanity. They won’t say how many people voted. Do you know?
here’s the live results
total number of eligible (registered) voters – 105058714
number of valid bulletins (those who voted) – 70036113
The results are not final but as of now the count of how many people has voted is ~67%
42.6Ml = 63.7% turnout. Follow on Sputnik.
Putin’s score now stands at 76.65% – 3% of ballots yet to be counted
The Electoral Commission a thank-you msge to May and her idiotic BoJo…
Sorry, made an error: “almost 111 million” voted –
Thank you Saker :-)
Last week was my birthday. I got the best gift today. YAY! Putin won!!!
God bless you.
Carmel by the Sea
My feelings too. I am also relieved that the elections were not disrupted, as I was expecting Poroshenko to attack the Donbass (he either postponed the attack for the World Cup, or else he came to the conclusion that the Donbass Russians were too well dug in). However, I have to disagree that Zhirinovsky has reached irrelevancy. His contribution to Russian politics was immense. I don’t think he ever though that he would win the Presidency, but he was, one way or another, of immense help to Putin, openly stating things which politicians usually don’t. He is still needed in Russian politics. As for NGO backed “politicians”, their performance was dismal, as I knew it would be. The West is indeed looking into a united Russia, something it probably never expected to see. What is going to be interesting is Putins successor. I wonder who will succeed him.
Look no further than Alexey Dumin – all signs point to him as the most certain successor Putin appoints as the next President. Whether this will be midterm or after a full term probably depends on the foreign and internal situation.
Dumin was rumored to be Putin’s successor for a while in Russian media and then the rumors stopped a couple of years ago. He had a military education, then started work in the President’s security service. He held various positions in the security services, then in 2014 became deputy head of the GRU (!) and participated in the Crimea events as head of the special forces engaged. He was awarded a hero of Russia for those exploits, became a lieutenant-general and deputy of Shoigu.
For two last years he has been in a civilian role – governor of Tula region, where a large percentage of Russia’s defense industry is located. His appearances on Russian TV are very measured and unlike the usual “whipping boy”-roles of the governors when they are summoned to the Kremlin to answer tough questions. It is very obvious he has been “groomed” with the appropriate image created for him.
He has good looks, his name is short, memorable and rhymes with Putin’s :) He can talk the talk as well. :)
So don’t worry, be happy :)
PS. I appreciate your posts very much!
Thank you. As for Putins successor, we shall see who will get the honor of taking over from him. Six years is quite a long period of time, enough for his successor to get adequate training.
And to add some more re Dumin:
He is young (45) and he has a personal connection with Putin, which will soundly resonate with ordinary Russians (of course, he will be presented in Western media with the meme “Putin’s bodyguard”, haha, but on a subconscious level this will be accepted by the people as “guardian of Putin’s life work”, so this is good :))
I recently read a lot about the “wild 90s” in Russia and more specifically about organized crime during that period – believe me, no one wants a return to that time. Virtually all of the mafia syndicates from that time were neutralized during the 2000s and 2010s, without even mentioning the difference of quality of life or expectations for the future (in the 90s, there were none).
To return to Dumin – he also has the charisma of a military man and Russians like a strong figure. He is a little more “woody” in appearance than Putin but I guess that is one of the things to be polished in him while in the governor’s position.
Rogozin, Medvedev, Volodin etc. are just too laden with previous images and actions and just do not pass the “smear test” :)
Yes, he is certainly a possibility. However, don’t forget the Romanov’s. As I have written before, it’s an open secret in the Russian Orthodox Church that it’s only a matter of time before the Romanov’s return. The Saker, when I asked for his opinion, expressed his doubts on this particular point. However, I am not so sure. As the old Russian saying goes, “You cannot rule Russia without God and the czar”. We shall see.
I’m Russian and I’ve heard about some really bizarre stuff, like leaving young girls in the forest as bear brides, but never “You cannot rule Russia without God and the czar”
It might be true, but definitely not an old Russian saying.
BG and BF,
Thanks for the notes. Dumin seems young, although this may be a positive thing as it will give him long service if posted and elected to be Putin’s successor. As far as my thoughts are concerned, Putin could run one more time, health permitting. Considering that he (Putin) is only 66 now, would possibly mean that in 16 years (if he runs one more time) he would be 82 if he goes to the end of the next term, still not a bad age if god and health is with him. I would assume that he would resign around 78 or so. Looking at the old Soviet guard like Brezhniev this would put him roughly in the same age bracket. But, I heard that Putin “said” that he will not run again, which may be what he said, or may be this is just “liberal-sellouts” wishful thinking. All that said, I wish him all the best.
I’d bet on Sergei Shoigu instead of Dumin, accompanied by a much closer alignment between Russia and China. Shoigu is the most competent of any of these successor candidates and is far more popular with ordinary Russians than Dumin.
RT reported that there was a large cyber-attack aimed at the Russian Electoral Commission on Election Day.
Can anyone verify Hillary’s whereabouts on Sunday?
Upside down on a cross – can I say that?
Putin’s words, when asked whether he will run again, were “Can you do maths? Shall I rule until I am 100 years old? No.” The best way to ensure that his legacy goes on will be for him to supervise the transition. The older he gets, the more risky it gets – the NYT already labeled his 4th term as his “lame duck” presidency, which is beyond stupid of course :)
Shoigu is a soldier of the empire (the new Russian one :) – he is a very good administrator, he made the Emercom (Emergency situations ministry) a truly powerful and trusted organization, then he did the same with the army, but he is not a politician. What is more – he is an ethnic Tuvan and after Russia’s past experience with Georgian and Ukrainian rulers, I don’t think Russians are ready for that yet. Shoigu’s place is as the right hand of the President and what a right hand he is :)
Dumin has always been a part of the inner circle of the President’s administration and as someone entrusted with the physical security of the first persons of the state, his loyalty should be beyond doubt. My feeling that he will be the next in line is more of a birdwatcher’s jizz than concrete information, but the signs are telling – he is really <> to stand out among the other governors, there are TV reports about him usually once a week, every week, (always positive, of course – opening kindergartens, visiting defense companies, his meetings with Putin have a equal-with-equal feel, and all the other imagemaking PR Russian state TV excels at :), so you can really say something is afoot there. If he was to succeed Putin, his image will be made stellar, don’t doubt that :)
In my view, leaving the state to someone younger, and supervising his first years in office from the side (not necessarily behind the curtains – Putin can remain in some official and public position of influence), will be the best course of action. Dying at the helm as Brezhnev did (everybody’s mortal after all) or ruling at 80 would be the worst thing to happen to Russia and Putin knows that. Russia needs young blood, image and vigor in the path she has been set on by Putin.
I really don’t see any other option – neither Shoigu, nor Rogozin, Medvedev, Volodin or the others mentioned as possible successors qualify on all points as AD. We will see, I am sure that things will go as they should :)
God be praised! Could we have such a statesman in the west? Probably not!
”Could we have such a statesman in the west?”
Sure! How about Conchita Wurst or this thing called Nikki Haley? However, these specimina might not get a 67% approval, but that’s just because Putin is a Dictator, LOL.
I think Nikki Haley would win, maybe even with Putin’s numbers. Does everyone remember Sarah Palin and the aproval she received, in part because some in the electorate saw her has “hot”. I can’t remember that far back but it seems to me that this was a consideration for a sizeable portion of Republicans. Nikki can be made to look just as “hot” for the electorate, as long as they don’t wait too long for her manliness (exmples; Madeline Albright, Hillary, Samantha Power etc) to start manifesting itself to reveal the ugly hag she truly is inside. That’s unless Oprah runs of course…we all know how much America loves (believes in) their TV personalities, even without a chimpanze in their past :)
But the Western fakestream media presstitutes assure us that the election was rigged, and the process deeply flawed-and they would never lie, would they. It would be against ‘Western Moral Values’.
Congratulation President Putin. The world needs more leaders like you.
This is a very important result, a country united. Unlike the US or UK or EU. No country can successfully go to war, and I think this is inevitable, with such manifest ethnic and political internal divisions.
If I could give one piece of advice to Putin: its now time to begin grooming a successor to ensure continuity.
Putin must have himself cloned.
If one can foresee 6 years ahead: Russia will be more powerful; Europe will be on the brink of the collapse of the EU; the US will be even more divided by the next presidential election; the West will be even more on the edge of the abyss economically.
Against this background, the election of a new president in Russia, confident of military victory, could be the end.
This scenario is the true test of Putin’s statesmanship, as I believe he has won the current cold war.
Wonderful, wonderful news. Currently over 93% of votes counted he has 76.5%.
There were cyber attacks; hundreds of fake calls complaining; no votes in Ukraine etc……and still went ahead without many problems and he won!
Sobchak wants 20 polling station votes annulled – the delusion continues……why RT keeps giving her so much airtime – beats me.
Meanwhile big concert in Red Square celebrating Crimea re-unification and VVP appeared to thank everyone. Great night and future for Russia.
that girl is on CIA paycheck. I really fear some accidents may happen to her during the next 6 years…
I kind of get the feeling that Sobchak’s intended role is to reinforce a certain image of Russia in America.
She’s a virtue-signal poster-child of western universal values. Like Nemtsov she might be worth more as a Martyr– within the empire’s narrative.
On Drudge, Putin, “how he did (rigged) it,” is at the top of the links but behind Trump/ Mueller. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/5841519/russian-elections-presidential-rigged-nuns-footage-latest/
The editors at drudge obviously consider this story to be more important than gay sex robots.
Grudinin would be a much better Martyr
I think he should watch his back in the future much more than
Sobchak as the West cant make a 1,5 % nobody make a martyr
Hahaha – more like the Kremlin paycheck. They needed a woman to run so that the world would see that it was a democratic election. Of course Western media has it all bent out of shape now.
Congratulations President Vladimir Putin. I couldn’t be happier.
Catherine, images of foolish women have been promoted by the western MSM for a long time. They are pernicious. The objective is to destroy our self-steam and depreciate our role in society; thus, hurting society as a whole. It seems that Russian women have also been victims of this sordid campaign. The MSM has been happily advertising the image of such a foolish Russian presidential candidate – I bet they have had good laughs at this. More surprising yet was the fact that she still got some votes!
Let’s hope. She deserves it, if not only for releasing Дом 2 on the Russian people.
I have no doubt the vote reflects Putin’s popularity amongst a segment of the population but Russia is a ‘managed’ democracy, like any other, and democracy has always been a cloak for the oligarchy.
That is why Socrates, the first prophet of Truth, refused to endorse it, and was sentenced to death as a result.
Sobchak is the daughter of Putin’s mentor and as they say, the branch never falls far from the tree. She is not who she is pretending to be. Sobchak is a role player who became famous by posing for Playboy, although no devastating beauty by the usual standards of a pin up girl. Her job is to act petulant and expose the vacuity of ‘liberal’ minded people while increasing interest in an election which has always been a forgone conclusion. Sobchak’s main function seems to concern creating an impression for observers outside of Russia, which is why RT gives her so much time on air and she was making the rounds on the US talk show circuit during the election.
Zhirinovsky is another case in point, whose job is express widely held opinions in rabid or uncompromising tones.
The real number that counts is participation rate, and if they are hiding it things aren’t so rosy, since this shows no one is buying what the media is selling. In the United States this number is likely below 25%, meaning Americans aren’t as dumb as we are led to believe..
People need to come to terms with the concept of a lifetime actor. All people who are famous for being famous serve a function in a social system that is 100% managed, foremeost to control the range of acceptible opinions. Think of the Simpson’s and it’s cast of characters, or the Jim Carrey movie the Truman Show. Our public world is constructed in exactly the same way, with a cast of characters you are encouraged to emulate, or not, but none of which are a threat because the last thing oligarchs want to hear is your opinion.
Elections are used to provide support for government policy selected by the systems. Once an individual votes he is more likely to support policy of government even if his candidate or advocate of his position lost. Participation in election process legitimizes public policy regardless of whether the policy is supported by the individual.
And what role are you playing, Where-Wolf? Iago?
”I have no doubt the vote reflects Putin’s popularity amongst a segment of the population but Russia is a ‘managed’ democracy, like any other, and democracy has always been a cloak for the oligarchy.”
A segment — hasbara at its wittiest. Soros lost; get over it.
Excellent news — congratulations to Russia and Putin!
Here some real numbers for you:
“According to the chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission, 73.37 million people voted in the elections. High turnout in Russia’s presidential election was connected with the broad information campaign, Ella Pamfilova believes.” https://sputniknews.com/russia-elections-2018-news/201803191062677692-observers-russian-presidential-election-2018/
Interesting points, Where-Wolf. I hope you are right. It makes sense. I have been ashamed of the behaviour of this lady… However, if it was proved that she is just acting, I certainly would forgive her.
The term ‘managed democracy’ is an oxymoron.
And it is obviously a propaganda term designed to obscure the real situation.
A democracy has a simple definition. It is that the sovereign power of a nation resides in the hands of the people.
Thus, when you say ‘managed democracy’, you are truly saying that it is not an actual democracy . But it is a term obviously designed to obscure the fact that such a state is not a democracy at all by including the word democracy in its definition.
Elections do not equal a democracy. In fact, many dicatators and other authoritarian regimes have always held elections. Do not confuse the too.
Ivy league political scientists a few years ago studied America. They looked at many issues, and then tried to determine who had the power to influence the decisions. Their conclusion was that the American people have zero say in what the American government does. On issue after issue they found that polls would say the American people wanted one thing, but that the government did the opposite. They offered the more accurate description of American government as being an oligarchy. Meaning a small class of powerful people make the decisions.
Its hard to think if there is actually a real democracy anywhere in the world today. Perhaps Iceland?
But, one thing for certain, anything that is called a ‘managed democracy’ is by definition not a democracy of any sort, as it implies that there is a class that truly holds power that is managing the fake-democracy that only exists as a front.
Outside some fringe academi “democracy” stands for regime vetted by USA/EU
You may smirk, but in common language that is what it is.
So, some “standing apart” term had to be coined.
Also, “managed democracy” was VERY short-lived effort, used slightly less than never. More used term was “sovereign democracy”.
And both those terms only mattered before 08-08-08 anyway
what was the participation rate in these elections? what was it as compared to those of Recente European elections?
and frankly this “popularity amongst a sector” of population is what? A wide proven choice, made after a long and opposed public campaign, in a given GRAVE moment of history, made by a highly educated people is so simply a popularity among a sector? Go getting a little less BS, please.
Congratulation dear President Putin – leader of the free world.
Can’t wait to see the spin our media put of the ‘fake election’… oh wait here is a sample if you can stomach the tripe
I posted this on another thread, but is worthy of a repeat.. it is Mr Putin singing the RF National Anthem with a crowd welcoming home the ice hockey champions.
A telling last line from the ABC report was this
“The longer-term question is whether Mr Putin will soften his anti-Western rhetoric now the election is won.”
Putin – soften his anti-west rhetoric?
Sort of says it all about the Western media, doesn’t it.
Inversion of reality and psychological projection, by congenital liars chosen for their total ideological reliability.
There seems to be an agreement at the ABC between the zionist occupied broadcaster, ZOB, and the gay personalities and news people [basically all of them] which goes “you can run your agenda if you run ours”.
And so it is…a relentless promotion of homosexuality and an undisguised imperialist propaganda.
PS Good luck to you Russians, you needed a great leader and you seem to have got one. How much more might be achieved in six more years I wonder……and hope.
I wouldn’t fret so much about gays. They are only 5% of the population, generally keep to themselves if left alone, and have no intention of making their orientation compulsory. I’ve known many, worked with many, and most are thoroughly decent, and many are still disturbed, even in later life, by their difference, which they cannot help, but which still makes many feel a sort of shame and guilt.
Putin Speaks From Red Square After Presidential Election Result Announced
Russia National Anthem
The Most Popular Russian Patriotic Song Of All Time – The Sacred War
(Composer Alexander Alexandrov, Lyrics Vasily Lebedev-Kumach)
the uni-polar vs multi-polar battle continues. certainly few thought putin would lose, but it is quite important to see that pro usa led west got almost no votes and shows a unity the west sorely lacks outside of catalonia. But, this is not surprising as, for me, the principal area of expertise under putin is a solid re-building of infrastructure and such. so, in many ways domestic issues are really the center of putin. and though maybe not all the russians agree with him all the time, he is clearly the best for the job. yes, one thing easily learned is that slav people are united in a way rarely seen in the west, and this does not mean just russia but most slavic nations. and though, way way in the background the catalan question is still brewing…and yes the catalan people are even stronger in fighting for autonomy for catalonia as well as all of spain than they were months ago. catalonia remains another place where a multi-polar world is fighting the uni-polar world. where will this go? who knows, but being trump is clearly now another puppet to the deep state, one should expect another double down by the usa and the eu. and a scary thing is that debt has gone up huge under trump. about a trillion in the last six months. the neo-cons are like oh no at least six more years!
Warmest congratulations to President Putin and the people of Russia. No surprise, perhaps, but still great news. I certainly wish him the very best.
I want to congratulate Russia and the Russian people for this most beautiful of outcomes in the election of Putin for another term.
Actually, this is a moment that all freedom loving people all over the world should celebrate.
Anybody, or coalition, that seeks war and confrontation with a united Russia firmly behind its leader, is either suicidal or fanatically and/or ideologically blinded. Either way, it would prove to be a fatal mistake.
God bless Russia and her people for stepping up and saving us all from the dark curtain that was ever so slowly but surely enveloping the world.
I am now confidant that the Anglo Zionists and the Talmud Kabbalists have heard Russia say a loud Nyet!
They will think twice before miscalculating with Russia and her allies.
Interesting that not one demonstration or protest outside a Russian Embassy was reported anywhere in the world by dissident Russians or anyone else.
Russia is solid, firm, stable, strong, powerful and will never kneel or buckle under pressure.
Historians for centuries to come will talk about March 18, 2018.
Just beautiful, Alhamdulillah, God is truly great!
I totally agree.
– A Serb Orthodox.
I’ll add my own heartfelt agreement!
A Shinto priestess
I agree. Very pleased. God bless Putin. The western leaders shrink in envy at his popularity home as well as abroad. As sheikh Imran lectured once, ‘Russia has a tryst with destiny’. I am overwhelmed and hoping that a mutual alliance between orthodox Christians and muslims anticipated in Islamic tradition is fulfilled excepting all who join the pseudo Judeo Christian Zionist alliance..bravo Russians and Putin.
It is the muslims in collaboration with the brutish plitters who created taliban to undermine sovuets who had been invited by afgan government to save progressive govt. Of afganistan.
Muslims anglisaxon combo have been resposible fir demise of soviet experiment.
That was in the past dear friend.
When Wahhabi’s and the CIA were busy with their propaganda that the Soviet people were a ‘Godless’ people.
These same two culprits are the ones who contaminated the Chechen people into two wars with Russia.
Most, the overwhelming majority actually, know better now.
An example is that in 2014-15 Chechen Muslim volunteers and also special forces sent by Mr. Khadyrov went to fight the Kiev forces in their onslaught of the Donbass people.
It is said they were, and still are a big factor in the defeat of the Ukrainian army in the Donbass.
There is a long history of Orthodox Christian Slavs and Muslims fighting and dying together since the days of the Golden Horde (Muslim Mongols) and Slavic ‘Russ’ princes known as the Muscovites united together and swept away the warmongering and barbaric Kingdom of Khazaria that was giving the Slavic Russian people hell for so many centuries.
The leader of the Mongol Muslim Golden Horde , Burke Khan, admired and respected the Orthodox faith . The Mongols let the Russ Slavs worship freely, and even gave back territories they conquered to be administrated by Russians.
In 1941, when the Nazi’s were at the doorstep of Moscow, a 1 million man army brought from eastern Soviet regions were majority Muslims who saved Moscow from destruction.
Muslims in large numbers fought alongside their Eastern Orthodox Slavic brethren at Stalingrad, Kursk and all the way to Berlin.
So , you see, there is a history of struggle together for victory. And I firmly believe, that once again, as fortold in Islamic eschatology, that the Eastern Orthodox Russians and Muslims will unite and prevail against the forces of evil and discord on earth, and win a decisive victory, led by Jesus (pbuh) son of Mary the saint ,(pbuh) , after the second coming of the Messiah. For it is vaguely fortold in the Quran and more in depth in the Hadith.
Yes. I agree. They have killed millions of people for this purpose.

How did your troll comment get approved??? Links to fake news and propaganda and lies of the evil empire of chaos, murder, terror, and theft.
Anon was just illustrating, in the case of Avraham Blumenthal’s deranged and hyper-belligerent (ie typically Talmudic)ranting lies, just how insanely demented these Zionazi freaks truly are.
Yes, they are absolutely demented. But the concordance between these and other reports, including Russian MoD statements, France’s official call for journalists to stay away from Syria for the next two weeks, etc., leads me to think that a decision has been made, as crazy as it sounds.
Does anyone have info about the range of ship-launched Tomahawks? In other words how far away from Syria can they be and still reach Syria? I’ve been rereading Martyanov about the Kinzhal missile (that and the new laser weapons are the only of Putin’s new weapons that seem directly relevant to current Anglo-Zionist (or FUKUS-Israeli) plans, as they are actually on-line). A recent piece by the Saker on escalation scenarios in Syria leaves me thinking that air defenses are perhaps not equal to the task at had (which the Empire may see as its last chance of a vulnerability which they can exploit). They will presumably not target Kheimim (though things could escalate to this later), which presumably also has the best air defenses (though without hardened hangars for the aircraft). May we reasonably suppose that the best systems are also in place around Damascus, where a lot of Russian advisers, Military Police, and Reconciliation Office are located? But surely an attempt will be made to destroy Damascus air defenses in any case, since the government district and Assad’s residence seem to be top on the target list (as will Nasrallah).
Yes, we should expect an offensive in the east of Syria (because the aggressors want to force Syria to fight on many fronts, as has been key to the logic of the dirty war all along). In fact, Isis has launched its biggest offensive since the liberation of Deir Ezzor, al Madayeen and al Bukamal against these very places only in the last couple days. Also a new offensive around the Yarmouk camp south of Damascus. Sorry not to provide any links this time, but hopefully these matters will be further taken up.
After I pressed send, I realized that I hadn’t touched the name or email address fields, and so I was wondering whether my comment would be approved. Glad to see that it is. (I had already posted the links on M0A)
You are wrong that my comment was a troll comment. Rather I think this is a matter of urgency that cannot be overstated. I am certainly not endorsing the viewpoint expressed by Andy Blumenthal (a top official of the US HHS/ASPR, by the way) or the Jerusalem Post – which are marinated in lies, and which I regard as horrendous. The point is that they indicate that a decision has been reached for war against Syria and Hezbollah which will include direct actions against Russians and Iranians in Syria.
The most “optimistic” take on this is that perhaps they are bluffing, and just want to throw the Syrians and Russians “off balance”. But I fear not.
While I have more to say (and I read Mike Whitney’s piece afterwards), I submit that the topic of this planned aggression should be placed at the very top of our discussion priorities here.
My comment posted at 9:59, beginning “After I pressed send”, was meant as a response to pdb.
I got the impression was made the day Trump fired Tillerson.
Once Putin rejected Bibi the Mad’s ultimatum in Sochi, and they had to get out the tranquiliser gun to stop Nassty-yahoo chewing up the nice carpet, a war of aggression against Iran, Lebanon and Syria became certain. I wouldn’t be making any long, or medium term plans, really.
It wouldn’t have been certain if Trump, UK and France weren’t operating in lockstep with Netanyahu. Personally, I doubt that Israel would have dared on its own. (Remember all their “threats” to attack Iran. In retrospect, they seem aimed to induce the US to attack Iran for them.) And if the see that Mintpress piece again regarding Trump’s commitment to have US troops die for Israel.
I suppose your basic point is correct, about when this became certain, so my point above just elaborates on a necessary condition for it.
Can you refresh me on Bibi’s ultimatum in Sochi? Was it in connection with the Syrian National Dialogue Congress on January 30?
Apparently Bibi rocked up in Sochi and demanded that Russia stand by Israel in calling for Iran to be expelled from Syria, otherwise he’d bomb the Syrian Presidential Palace and Iranian troops. He was said to be quite ‘agitated’, and when Putin knocked him back, saying that Russia would not sell Iran out, Bibi got quite hysterical. A mere goy refusing to obey orders!!! That would NEVER happen in Thanatopolis DC, or Paris or London.
Not surprised but happy. It was a forgone conclusion. We can consider Sobchak to be the Jill Stein of Russia. Putin gained 10 points since 2002 election indicating Crimea was a popular move. Russia is the leader of the free world and Putin is the greatest living statesman today.
I was in Russia October 2016 and September 2017. I told some english speaking Russians that they are the leaders of the free world and the only ones who can stand up to Washington. You should have seen the looks on their faces. From an American?
I object to the smearing of the reputation of Dr. Jill Stein.
If you hear her speak, and you of course have go outside the corporate media to do so, she is a very thoughtful and reasonable and intelligent woman. To my mind, the best I’ve seen America offer as a politician. Which of course is why she’s outside of the two corrupt corporate parties and almost completely blacked out on the corporate media.
In defense of Dr. Jill Stein.
The best defense is simply to listen to her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2qDlhfYAU0
Of course, if you get your information from the corporate media, you probably have never done this. They make sure she is mostly not heard at all, or when they concede to allow her on to the air she is always being attacked by a belligerent interviewer. If nothing else, this interview (linked above) is a very good example of what they don’t want the American people to hear.
The good news is that any search of the internet these days can correct this. Like most things, there is good information out there, but you have to go look for it. The stuff that is spoon-fed by the corporate media of course tries to hide it.
The interviewer in this piece, while being well to the left of the modern Democrats, still is the sort that seems to come back to support the Democrats in elections on the excuse of them being the Lesser Evil. Thus, its rather fascinating when in the second part of this interview he tries to bait Dr. Stein with very loaded questions.
What would you do about the evil Russians and the attrocities they are committing in Russia? Followed by a couple of questions trying to push her into whether she’d use a drone strike to take out someone loaded into the question as being evil. The reason her intelligence and reasoning are something I respect is the way she dances around these loaded pro-Hillary questions and gives good peaceful and reasonable responses.
I’m quite proud to have voted for Dr. Stein to be President of the United States. I’d gladly take her over any major party nominee in the last 30 years.
Ksenia Sobchak now has a great future. She just needs a sex tape, ala Kardashians, and she’ll have a great career in America. When her body is fat, she’ll have a seat on the View TV show. She’ll be a “star”, finally, fully democratized.
Call me, Ksenia. Have camera, will travel.
Congratulations to President Putin abd ti the Russians.
World can sleep with assurance .
5) The Empire has two choices left: go to war or fold
It will not fold easily.
Bumpy days ahead.
I’m more excited in this election than elections in my own country, the US. Health and success to Putin and the Russian people! May the US come to her senses and seek peace with Russia! Amen!
Congratulations to President Putin! God bless Russia!
Congratulations to all the Russian people for re-electing a true leader like President Putin!
Have you noticed that so far no Western leader has congratulated him? National post in Canada talks about “tainted elections”. Is that the tantrum they want to go with for the next six years?
Even though this was an expected outcome, it’s still a welcome development.
God speed, Mr. Putin!
An American admirer
Assad didn’t go,alive Xi Jinping will never go and now The Last of the Mohicans, what a joy!
Mister President, for the sake of mankind or Trudeau’s ” peoplekind ” ( strawberry fields for ever ) no more announcements about new weapons or election laws changes at least for 5 years please, thanks!
I’m happy to read that an adult is in behind the driving wheel. I’m afraid that the empire will chose war. The way I imagine its rulers, folding is worse than killing everybody. It would be admitting they’re not godlike beings. I’m sad to admit that Putin is correct when he states that a world without Russia is not admissible
The empire will fold. I hope it won’t be on radioactive ruins.
If humanity survives it, it will something analogous to the “Judge Dreed”‘s world depicted in the eponym comic.
Who has the most inspiring, motivating and extra-special boss in the whole wide world?
Special wishes for a special person like you!
Go Putin Go!
Eat your hearts out US/EU political leaders!
Congratulations to Russian people who choose the right path.
Last night on Serbian TV channel there was a documentary about Putin, and the pictures of Russia during the Jeltsin period were horryfing.
Russians should show that period to their children in school every day, just to see how their life will looks like if they get a western pupet as a president.
Very well said. This is exactly what is happening in Brazil… after the coup d’etat made in the USA.
Only problem now… how to make sure Vlad lives to 110?
The numbers should be a little bit corrected. V. Putin has won with 76.67%, and the vote count is not finished yet . Hope the number will be higher .
Watch . Russia’s presidential hopefuls in ‘the wild ‘90s’ — https://www.rt.com/politics/421496-presidential-candidates-russia-1990s/
This is a moment of Grace
Strenght and success to THE president to implement his programme
Impressive. Congratulation to VVP and Russian people.
Great! Thank you, Russian people. The whole world needs Mr Putin and what he represents.
Russia is uniting ever more behind the vision of Putin, even former extreme communists, nationalists and liberals now recognise the acheivements of Putin. The bizarre, manic actions of USA, UK and Ukraine have helped Putin win this massive majority.
The Communists are the only force that even slightly challenges Putins’ leadership. And they will not certainly not be pro western even if they won..
Russia is safe for the next 6 years!
1.56% of Russians voted for the deranged AngloZionist puppet Sobchak – someone who asked Ukraine for permission to go to Crimea. Geez.
Great news for everyone in the world except for the U.S and its puppet states of course.
So the West has got another 6 years of Putin, besides going to war as The Saker said, Im asking what will the west landscape look like at the end of Putins next term.
In my opinion the U.S will see this happen over the next 6 years or before. First 4 points will definitely happen, the rest possibly
1) Stock market crash
2) Fed steps in to print even more dollars
3) Currency crisis
5) Civil strife, maybe civil war
6) Break up of the country
7) Total pullout of U.S troops abroad
8) A loss of many allies
The pro-western idiot Sobchak gave an interview with RT in which she admiitted that the election results demonstrated Putin’s popularity. If she continues speaking like this, it is possible that the Americans will stop paying her so much money.
Probably all of them, except perhaps number 5. At this point I do not think people in the US have got the balls/courage to start fighting against each other. Too much brainwashing and when the first bullets start flying the Deep State will start smashing everything that moves.
Number 4 will come for sure and in a few weeks/months the country will go from First to Third world status.
I love number 6, particularly if the new countries end up speaking Spanish. This would be a bonus.
Hopefully we will live to see which of your listed options are in play. As the few links I gave as “anonymous” in a post farther up in the comments (and other items I alluded to subsequently), the best evidence is that a FUKUS/Israel-initiated war is imminent – if they aren’t just making a very convincing bluff.
Thanks to God and the intelligence and civilized nature of the Russia people
What a surprise. A leader, who’s helped the economy recover from the Harvard “Shock Therapy” days when poverty soared and life expectancy declined, a leader who has stood up to the bullies of the world to protect his nation, what a total surprise that he turns out to be popular among the people.
I do not agree that the election results show that the Russian Communists are irrelevant. Grudidin was a terrible candidate. I have cannot understand why the Communist Party adopted him. He is not a member of the party. He is a rich business man. He has foreign bank accounts, allegedly in order to avoid taxes. These facts alone make him totally unsuitable. The people voting for the Communists want (amongst other things) higher taxes on the rich and an end to the potential for rich people to avoid paying their taxes. The Communist Party in the future could get its act together and have candidates who are more in touch with ordinary Russians and who wish to see greater development of social policies and much less equality.
Whenever you see a rich person being presented as a ‘communist’ or a ‘socialist’, realize that you are being lied to. Its a contradiction in basic beliefs.
A true socialist or communist will be a worker who has the support of other workers because they’ve worked alongside them and fought the same fights against the rich who are always the enemies of the workers.
Its a constant scam now in the west …. the rich elites who are somehow presented as ‘socialists’. Yeah, right.
Yes, I agree. However, why did one of those ‘fake’ communists ended up representing the Russian Communist Party in the presidential elections? Who is he and what does the party want?
God bless Putin! God bless Mother Russia!.
Mario Medjeral / Gers / France.
congratulations, President Putin! and a big THANK YOU to the people of Russia!
If there is a war, and I’m afraid there will be ….
It appears that Russia will be largely united behind Putin.
America would be very divided behind Trump.
1) The Democrats oppose anything that Trump does. Unfortunately for the cause of peace, this doesn’t seem to apply when Trump bombs someone. Then the Democrats all say how Presidental the President appears. However, this is only the corrupt leadership layer of the party. Below that corrupt upper layer there are strong movements in their base that have long supported the peace and antiwar movements and which are strongly anti-nuclear. There is definitely a wing of the Democratic Party that would be happy to both oppose Trump and to oppose a war.
2) meanwhile, at least a part of Trump’s voting base were attracted to his statements that he opposed America’s regime change wars, thought NATO was a waste of money and the fact that he campaigned on a more sensible policy of talking to Russia.
3) America’s population has been growing restless this entire century. The Obama campaign appealed by promising Change and Hope. This appealed to a wide segment of the Democrat base as well as a broad swath of Independents. The Trump campaign appealed to working class people who’d been abandoned by their tradtional Democrat politicians and been constantly squezed and screwed by banks and corporations. Add to this a situation of close to open war between a racist and violent police force and minority populations.
During the Vietnam War, the rumor was always that the Pentagon began to fear that they would lose control of the American population and thus decided that having hundreds of thousands of troops overseas in a situation where their morale was plumeting alarmingly was not a good situation. It was the Pentagon telling the White House that they needed to draw down the troop levels in Vietnam.
It appears as if Trump might face a similar situation, but much, much sooner in his war. During Vietnam the US went from a peaceful and relatively unified society in the late 50’s to a fractured society on the edge of revolution by the late 60’s. In this case, Trump would be starting a war from a position of already having a fractured and divided nation.
The UK seems to be in a similar situation, but perhaps not as bad. And there would be large peace movements across Europe.
Meanwhile, Russia and China both seem relatively unified behind their leaders. And both seem to understand that they might need to fight if either is pushed to the wall.
Assuming this whole thing doesn’t just destroy the world in a nuclear holocaust in a few days, a longer war seems to be a disasterous idea for Trump and the US.
An election has been held in a large country. The reports we hear and read here in Sweden is of a dismal country, impoverished with people living in apathy. And voting fraud. Meh..
If life was so dismal there, how come we dont have Russians flocking at the borders as refugees?
I say congratulations to V.V. Putin on his reelection.
I saw Zhirinovski talk for the first time. Dear Gawd. If he is the best the “opposition” can muster, it’s a good thing they are so far from power. The guy is off his rocker!
I am with Russia and stand along with Russian People!
Adelante, Putin! Adelante people of Russia.
Go ahead, bad Vlad!!! and decisively help shaping the world of tomorrow!
