The world rotated one more time since the last report on China.
So, what do we know?
China is rock-solid behind Russia in all of Russia’s objectives, and in some instances, up ahead.
It almost seems as if an agreement was, if not stated, then understood. Russia will do the shootin’ for now, and China will keep the economic boat afloat. We see consistent commenting such as China is a consistent stabilizing force in a changing world
Overall NATO is feeling the pressure and ‘resetting’ and trying to clone itself as Aukus in the east while trying to strengthen itself in the west. We have Stoltenberg announcing: “What we see now is a new reality, a new normal for European security. Therefore, we have now asked our military commanders to provide options for what we call a reset, a more longer-term adaptation of NATO.”. In this speech, he announced that plans are being worked up to transform NATO into a major force capable of taking on an invading army and states that NATO deepens partnerships in Asia in response to a rising “security challenge” from China.
Yet, in the east, the Quad is one less, given India’s refusal to follow the U.S. regarding Russia.
Japan has been asked to join Aukus as a Japan, US, Australia, UK alliance intending to project a strong regional balance of power against China, Russia (and maybe India then?) in Asia. This Aukus will then have synergy,, they say, with Japanese technologies in areas such as hypersonic weapons and electronic warfare. Somehow I don’t see Japan as a suitable switch out for India, but then again, we’re dealing with desperate last gyrations of a world hegemon here, trying to project that it still has many friends.
A quick look at India. These days, if you see a country being threatened, you know already that they have started decoupling from so-called western democracy and Blinken has just threatened India yet again. He says the US is “monitoring rise in rights abuses in India” So, suddenly the US cares about human rights abuses in India. This bellicose rhetoric is not effective and way beyond its sell-by date.
It is clear that Russia is decoupling from Europe, and this started before sanctions. But did you know that China is decoupling from Britain, Canada, and the US? This is a brand-new trend. China’s top offshore oil and gas producer CNOOC Ltd. is preparing to exit its operations in Britain, Canada, and the United States, because of concerns in Beijing that assets could become subject to Western sanctions. As it seeks to leave the West, CNOOC is looking to acquire new assets in Latin America and Africa, and also wants to prioritize the development of large, new prospects in Brazil, Guyana, and Uganda.
Apparently trying to deal with those three countries has become painful and CNOOC is seeking to sell “marginal and hard to manage” assets. Quoted are red tape and high operating costs in the western climes.
In the Asia region, we also saw the ease with which Imran Khan was relieved of his post as Prime Minister. I don’t believe this is the end of this story, because the citizens of Pakistan are truly unhappy. https://www.rt.com/news/553734-us-involved-imran-khan-departure/
So if you were thinking that while the Ukraine war is hot, the Pacific is cool, that would be a mis judgement.
The new cry going out is if we’ve censored all the Russian voices, how can we allow the Chinese voices to carry water for Russia. We have to cancel them too! (These people deserve to go and live underground in bunkers!)
Taiwan keeps the war propaganda at a fever pitch by releasing a China Invasion Survival Guide.
Taiwan’s All-out Defense Mobilization unit has released a guide for citizens in the event of a war with Beijing, complete with comic strips and tips for survival, locating bomb shelters, and preparing food and first aid provisions. The guide has been planned for some time, and comes as local officials look to extend military service beyond the current 4 months. https://t.me/rtnews/23455
Nancy Pelosi was planning to visit Taiwan. China made its displeasure known widely and loudly. And Pelosi immediately contracted Covid and had to suspend her trip.
From the Australian side, the propaganda is flowing strong. Here is a very fine video with Brian Berletic and Robbie Barwick, explaining exactly what happened with the contretemps in the Solomon Islands, as well as the overall trajectory and the speed thereof, of Australia’s belligerence against China. This video contains some interesting statements and supporting data. Seemingly, if Australia interacts with Island Nations like the Solomon’s the idea is to build infrastructure suitable for war, so, building a port must be suitable for US aircraft carriers, and building a road must be suitable for landing US airplanes. If China interacts with these very same Island Nations, the idea is to build infrastructure that can benefit their population and this is now clear among all.
Is it over? No, not by a long shot. Aussie minister pays ‘unprecedented coercive visit’ to Solomon Islands over China security pact. https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202204/1259266.shtml
I’ve come to enjoy China’s spokespeople. They are sharp and do not miss a trick. Acerbic and incisive commentary is the order of the day. This is a good example, and please note the tone of the Western journos .. If you have never spent time on one of these, it is an education. The western journos try and beat the spox to death with repeated questions loaded with innuendo. https://www.fmprc.gov.cn/mfa_eng/xwfw_665399/s2510_665401/202204/t20220411_10666750.html
It is quite clear that China is not leaving the issue of Biolabs behind. They have just about daily coverage in various media about it.
SEOUL, April 12 (Xinhua) — U.S. military biological facilities in South Korea are serious threats to local residents’ safety, said a South Korean expert, as the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) continues with a scandalous program involving experiments with living toxic samples. #GLOBALink
China will never forget epithets like “China Virus” and “Wuhan Flu”. Take a good look at this image titled Poison Disseminator.
China had to evacuate +- 2,000 Chinese citizens from the Ukraine. From media, it was a successful evacuation. They have also repeatedly made their stance clear on the Ukraine.
The main focus is humanitarian. China released a five-point position statement supported by a six-point humanitarian plan
The position statement is:
- First, we persevere in promoting peace talks in the right direction. We hold that dialogue and negotiation are the only way out, oppose adding fuel to the fire and intensifying confrontation, call for achieving a ceasefire and ending the conflict, and support Russia and Ukraine in carrying out direct dialogue.
- Second, we persevere in upholding the basic norms governing international relations. We advocate respect for the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, and oppose putting small and medium-sized countries on the front line of geopolitical games.
- Third, we persevere in preventing the resurgence of the Cold War mentality. We do not agree with the “friend-or-foe” camp confrontation, firmly promote international solidarity, advocate the vision of common, cooperative, comprehensive and sustainable security, and respect and accommodate the legitimate and reasonable concerns of all parties.
- Fourth, we persevere in upholding the legitimate rights and interests of all countries. We oppose unilateral sanctions that have no basis in international law and call for safeguarding the international industrial and supply chains to avoid harming normal economic and trade exchanges and people’s lives.
- Fifth, we persevere in consolidating peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region. We firmly uphold the principle of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit, and inclusiveness in our neighborhood diplomacy, guard against the introduction of bloc confrontation into the region by the United States through the “Indo-Pacific strategy”, accelerate the promotion of regional integration and cooperation, and guard the hard-won development momentum in the region.
Wang Ji describes the six-point humanitarian plan:
While China is doing its best to create a level playing field and do real humanitarian work, they are not hiding the fact that they hold the US/NATO fully responsible for what they see as an action that was forced onto Russia.
Inside China, it is all about economic miracles. Taking a huge bow now in their theater of urgent needs is seeds: Chinese Seeds, Chinese developed, and Chinese local seeds. The seed companies of the west are unwelcome with the IP registration of their seeds and China will hold its ownership over its seeds.
The Shanghai lockdown provided endless China-bashing opportunities for western commentators. Tucker Carlson jumped on this horse and did his part for the anti-China campaign with a litany of complaints, a bunch of pixellated videos that are propaganda material, never having spoken to anyone actually living in Shanghai, without an idea of China’s principled management of Covid and without understanding the levels of the lockdown – complete political projection of US so-called values. As we have seen so many times from the USA’ians, trying to fight his political battles on the back of the Chinese (or anyone else, for that matter). He also perceivably has no idea that the Chinese lockdown supports the people with food and medicines, and it is not like the west. So, he looks at this with western eyes and truly, he has no clue. It is exactly the same that the world complains about .. it is: “We are right and exceptional and we know better.” Because China makes its own rules, Carlson calls it wrong. He is totally committed to the idea of US manifest destiny and his way is the right way. Carlson is anti a war with Russia for political purposes but show him China as a possible war partner, and he blooms with bloodlust.
It is truly better to listen to those that are actually living there and can actually speak the language. It is so that people believe the MSM when that very same MSM says something that they like and rail against that very same MSM when they say something that they don’t like.
David Fishman tweets: So it’s CRAZY that we have to do this, it’s also incredibly fascinating from a supply chain/logistics/economics perspective. We are in the process of re-inventing the food distribution network in Shanghai. It’s all based on the newly prevalent concept of Group-Buying.
If you really want to know how people live through a 14 day lockdown, a 14 day lighter lockdown if no Covid presents itself, a closed and open-loop system, and then thereafter no lock down. I would recommend that you click on this tweet and read all the parts:
So it's CRAZY that we have to do this, it's also incredibly fascinating from a supply chain/logistics/economics perspective.
We are in the process of re-inventing the food distribution network in Shanghai.
It's all based on the newly prevalent concept of Group-Buying. Nerdy🧵

Let’s hear from someone who is actually right there:
LIVE update on the situation in Shanghai, China https://t.co/kR1RUsHLL8
— Andy Boreham 安柏然 (@AndyBxxx) April 11, 2022
And Jeff Brown weighed in as well. Special explanation to address the many concerns global citizens have about China’s “Zero-Covid” policy, with Shanghai now in the headlines.
And so there are to my knowledge hundreds of people reporting that they get their food delivered, they take part in group buying, they mostly get what they want but sometimes not and we see things like this:
Very touched by this. My wife failed for the nth time to buy milk via group buying during the Shanghai lockdown and was lamenting about it on WeChat.
5 minutes later a neighbor put this on our doorstep, refusing anything in exchange.
THAT is the China I know. pic.twitter.com/Z9rJDwOWyo

The lesson here is that if you want to know what is happening in China, listen to the people in China. Now, they are not brutally suppressed and silenced. Online media is bigger than ever. What is frowned upon and can get you into hot water, is if you are rude and rude to others. State your case, don’t be rude and you will be fine with social media communication. (Somewhat like the concept of Saving Face).
No, China is not killing 25 million people in Shanghai.
There are thousands of made-up and anti-China video clips breathlessly being passed around by the usual suspects. I saw one that purports that the Chinese are breaking down their 5G towers. It was a clip from the umbrella riots in Hong Kong where the rioters were breaking down public infrastructure.
Is everything perfect? Of course not. Are their people struggling? Of course. Was there food distribution problems initially? Of course. Is it easy? Of course not. Are most people content with the decision to do a phased lock-in of a city of 25 million people? Most of the ones that I’ve regularly followed are, if not content, they understand the reason and trust the Chinese Zero-Covid policy. Westerners need to start understanding that the Chinese people are part of their government and that they actually believe the government does what is best for the people and they have evidence and proof of this, because they are part of a very inclusive system.
Cyrus Janssen is a regular commentator on China. He does not like the Shanghai lockdown. This is his thread, and take a look at what the Chinese actually answered.
I'm very worried about Shanghai and the future of #China….what's happened in the past few weeks has changed the future of China. Some of you will agree with my analysis and some of you won't, but here is a thread 🧵 on the #COVID19 situation in #Shanghai:
— Cyrus Janssen (@thecyrusjanssen) April 13, 2022
The conversation in China is different from the conversation in the west. Their current concern is future management of Covid. They have concerns that their Zero-Covid strategy needs to be adjusted. They are in the process of refining its strategy. They do not have concerns about their strategy, because they have the numbers.
The last report that I have is as of Saturday. The Shanghai port STILL operating smoothly, with berthing efficiency better than 2021. The average waiting time for ships in Port is under 24 hours, and all the production units at the port maintain normal 24-hour operations, except in extreme weather. In 2021, the Port moved 47 million 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs), ranking first globally. Throughput of international containers exceeded 6 million TEUs for the first time.
Trade between Russia and China skyrocketed. Paul from the Sirius report states it as follows: “Western experts fail to grasp that the Global South is around 87% of the world’s population, is in its ascendancy and has a myriad of vertical growth markets now in play and is embracing the multipolar world. West meanwhile is in terminal decline.”
China and Russia trade in Q1 rose 28% to $38.2bn equivalent.
In 2021, trade turnover between Russia and China hit a record high of $146.88 billion, having surged 35.8%. In December, the Russian and Chinese presidents agreed on creating infrastructure to service trade operations between the two nations without third parties.
The ASEAN surpassed the EU to become China’s largest trading partner. China’s imports and exports with ASEAN jumped 8.4% yoy to 1.35tn yuan in Q1 accounting for 14.4% of the country’s foreign trade volume.
Beijing’s economic and trade cooperation with other countries including Russia and Ukraine remains normal.
Beijing has refused to join sanctions against Moscow over the conflict in Ukraine, saying cooperation between China and Russia “has no limits.” The two countries have been switching from the US dollar and the euro to local currencies in trade to avoid possible sanctions.
It’s all digital currency for the years ahead for China. Make a strong distinction in your mind between CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency), Cryptocurrencies and China’s digital currency. They are not all the same.
Russia is increasing its holdings in Yuan. This is explained as underscoring the falling credibility of the US dollar, as the US has been weaponizing the dollar as a financial weapon instead of a trusted international payment currency. This via Xu Wenhong, a research fellow at the Institute of Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences
From the Here Comes China newsletter by Godfree Roberts, we see this:
Cainiao, Alibaba’s logistics arm, rolled out a digital end-to-end e-commerce logistics service that includes pickup, warehousing, supply chain, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery. You may think this is for China internally and it might well be so, but China has now something like 3,000 warehouses across the world, supporting the products that the belt and road transport, to get to the last-mile delivery.
Earlier I referred to the Quad as well as to the fact that China is doing its own selective decoupling. The Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline, which runs through Mongolia, is specifically aimed at reducing any Chinese dependence on Quad Members.
To conclude before we get to a lighter note, the west has no competitive edge any longer in trade, very little in war if we look at it as of today (they can still wipe us all out and turn us into glass), and have no honor left. They are not serious people and cannot be allowed to try and run our planet any longer, exclusively to their own benefit.
From Godfree’s newsletter about one of China’s minorities that I had actually never heard of. The Naxi, one of China’s 55 ethnic minorities, have long been popular with anthropologists, but its folk music is routinely overlooked. A new album hopes to change that. It might not be your style, but something different and away from war is always welcome.
Many of the data points here are courtesy of Godfree Roberts’ extensive weekly newsletter: Here Comes China. You can get it here: https://www.herecomeschina.com/#subscribe
watch out for a Pakistan India war, courtesy of the AngloUS empire
Very much true.
The current RSS Nazis heading India have been planning for a final war with Pakistan, with the full back up of Israel and America. Israel-US wants Pakistan’s Nuclear weapons to be dismantled and the fanatic right wing RSS Nazis have a Greater India project like Greater Israel, where Pakistan and Bangladesh would be annexed.
The RSS Nazis have been radicalizing Hindu youth for genocide of Indian and Pakistani Muslims. Videos have been taken off from YouTube.
Surely, India will attack Pakistan and try to decimate it.
Pakistan was created primarily as a pliable country on the southern borders of the Soviet Union.
I am sure all effort will be made to ensure that it fulfills this role successfully.
Pakistan belongs to its army and the army is firmly on the side of the empire.
Yes, I suspect you are correct. Pakistan’s army is loyal to the USA. I’ve read that Pakistan received its nuclear weapons technology via the Reagan Administration. It subsequently shared this technology with North Korea.
Furthermore, Pakistan’s ISI (CIA) was involved in 9-11, making payoffs to suspected hijackers. This has been covered up by the “official” story.
It is of course incredibly important that the military of sovereign countries be loyal to their homeland and not to foreign powers like the USA.
This excellent video from Danny Haiphong explains USA attempts at regime change in Russia – not by using economic sanctions but by infiltrating the public sphere through its CIA fronts like the NED and infiltrating and controlling certain well-placed military officers in order to establish foreign control over the military. Haiphong says if the military is compromised, regime change becomes more likely. It is important to note that Russia has made recent moves to curtail the influence of non-governmental organizations like NED, Amnesty International, etc., on Russia.
Remember the changes taking place. I have this in .. “Pakistan army has stated that it supported Imran Khan’s visit to Russia.”
There are wheels within wheels here.
ad hominem removed … mod
Indian Muslims are 20% of 1.3 billion, so about 260 million. If India annexed Pakistan (220 million,) and Bangla Desh (230 million) , they would be 710 million out of 1800 million or almost 40%. Muslims voting en bloc would take over the government via elections and soon change to an Islamic state. Hindus understand math. No one wants those two socially backward nations.
Don’t be surprised after the present dust up settles in 15 years to see India the only country left standing. Traditional Indian wisdom will spread all over the world as the common people realise that their leaders have betrayed them and swindled their future.
You say RSS Nazis can you kindly substantiate your statement? Did you notice the Indian External Affairs minister’s interview with 2+2 meeting? Did he sound belligernt when he was confronted by a boorish reporter questioning India’s stance on sanctions against Russia / about neutral stance towards Russia? Developed civilizations like Russia / India are respectful of other people, while standing up for their people. Did you notice how Putin / Modi address their adversaries compared to the enlightened West? Thanks
China is doing great so far, but US and NATO want war in Europe. To fight till the last Eastern European at leaset. this is why they put so many NATO troups in here, but not for the NATO to fight, but to push people to fight.
In Ukraine, many ucrainian soldiers said they had 1-10 pushers. 1 Azov or other nationalist pus behind the troups. 1 for 10 Ukrainians. If Ukrainians (other than extremists, the ”normal” Ukrainian soldiers or marines) didn’t wanted to fught, they were shot in the back. So for each 10 Ukrainian soldiers 1 extremist.
This is what they want to do with NATO troups. Polish, Romanians, Bulgarians don’t want to fight, but they will put 1 NATO troup for each Polish, or Romanian etc. To force them to fight as they know we dont want this. Romanians and Bulgarians at least dont want this at all, so they will use NATO troups to force Romanians or others to fight.
This is what they prepare for us. And the traidors that are in power now will do whatever their masters tell them, they don’t mind the will of the people they were supposed to protect and care for. They took us hostage.
I hope this will end soon and hope we will get rid of the Cabal that is ruining the lifes of us all. And we will, no matter what they will do, but we will too pay a huge price it seems as long as we have troups in our territory.
BTW, Romania doesn’t have the suveranity in the NATo / US bases: Kogalniceanu, Desevelu, Campia Turzii, US has it. And when their soldiers raped Romanian girls, we coundt judge them as we dont have suveranity there, in our own territory, I fell like we are an occupied country! Actually, we are
If they are going to force European people to fight for them, they will face a very huge problem.
Besides the fact that a big part of the population doesn’t want to fight, we Europeans are unarmed, untrained and old. From a warfare perspective, we are actually nothing more than worthless cattle.
Who’s actually gonna fight? Young American lads? Robots?
I don’t get what European leaders have in mind. Probably nothing.
Yes they don’t have this in mind, but they tried to put the Martial Law that is now in Ukraine, but exactly the same in here, they gave up in March, 8th. Force all men 18-62 to enroll and give 15 days to all men that are abroad to return. But the pushing back of the population was so high they gave up. But never know…
Anyway we have 1700 Generals, Russia has only 70, so who is the winner in all this? Doesn’t matter all our Generals dont have combat experience and 99% are very fat and cannot run for 30 meters, we have them, 1700, they can defend the country we trust them :D :D :D
Anyway it seems that the energy that is here in Romania gets them all that come in here, is like the Borat country:
In the last two months:
One tanc felt on the road, just like this, on the side way, another military vehicle the same, two tancs crached one into another during some exercises and one official was crushed during some exercises in the poligon, he died. He was guiding the tanc, but the tanc crushed him. i can put links to all these, some are really funny that one with the two tancs.
And there have to be more of this.
they donțt necessary want us to win something, just to eliminate us, maybe to replace the population with others, or something like this, of course they know we are useless in battle.
ukraine had 600 000 military, trained and they can’t defeat Russia and their men mostly were in the Army, we dont have the service anymore!
generals + other state officials are worldwide freemasons, servants
of US ZION . they are all traitors to their own people + suporters of
Jew New World Order + Klaus Schwabs WEF globalists .
we europeans have learned from our history that
we always made war to each other by manipulation
and jewmedia incitement of hatred for Rothschilds mafia
So true, we were always manipulated and pushed one against the other for some other people’s interests. But back time people didn’t had information and now is way too obivous they want to destroy us all. It is obvious we are in all this s…t together, also that they did everything so to decrease natality rate in Europe as they want to destroy the Christianity and then go after others, of course. Newcomers came here because their countries were destroyed, they were pushed into this for various purposes, one being their need for children and organs, easier to get away with migrants. 25 000 migrant children dissapeared in Europe in a two years time, is offical, many reports about this. Where did they dissapeared????
Also on the migrant route lots face incredible harships and inhuman treatment: as the illegal transplant traffik in Sinai, cnn, bbc all reported over this and for sure the ngo’s that encourage people to come to Europe are behind all these atrocities, we are all victims, Europeans and migrants alike.
This is why they always wanted to destroy Russia and the Russians, as they know they cannot defeat them, they must be destroyed from inside, so they had the Bolshevics, that were Jewish. And not all jewish are to be blamed for the actions of a few, as in any other country most of them are innocents and always paid the price for what others did, as we all did, in all hystory. Some bad dudes do the damage and then innocents pay the price.
But now the Globalist Cabal can be defeated. I really hope they will.
I made a comment specifically to you along with other things said on this article. I say again that you are honest, decent, very knowledgeable and a kind human being. It is with gratitude that I read your heartfelt emotions.
But then I have always felt the pain and suffering that these greedy evil morons have inflicted on this world. I have always lived in the west but never was a party to this evil.
Fools try to bring their racist nonsense into discussions that they have no place for. They belong on the thousands of white racist websites, allowed freely. I believe that this site was for truth, not nonsense about how China will be Zionist etc.. USA tried to separate China with their constant bullying and failed. What are these clowns trying to achieve, when their evil deeds all over the world are so plain to see?
PS: we have a ”resistance” and some allies, Pfizer and Moderna vacicnes NATO troups had, Azov didn’t. But NATO…
8 April: during a visit in Mihail Kogalniceanu base and the speech of our defence Ministry, an American soldier fainted and needed immediate care, ambulance, we don’t know what happened to him but can suspect if he had a sudden accident like so many athlets nowdays.
Also, another US soldier from Campia Turzii was knocked out by his Italian girlfriend in a bar, he is injured as he felt with his head on a hard surface and is in hospital: She got a 100 euro fine:
Romanians stole 2 million oil from Mihail Kogalniceanu base in about 4 years: https://www.romaniajournal.ro/society-people/law-crime/romanian-thieves-stole-usd-2-m-in-diesel-from-the-mihail-kogalniceanu-military-base-for-4-years/
As we give them 2%of PIB each year to take their oldest toys that otherwise would of been thrown in the garbage, this 2 million is just a tiny part.
But many will probably make some sabotage in the basis if they will act in a bad way against Romanians, meaning push us to war! I don’t know of anything, but as far as I know my compatriots, this is very possible. When we don’t want something, pushing us results in us being more stubburn. And get crazy and chaotic, we have this also we are very optimistic and supraevaluate our phisical capacities, so sometimes we succeed in crazy endevours as we are a little not craqzy but lets say very unaware of the dangers if we get pushed to the limit.
A few days ago a young men just stole a bancomat with crypto in the Mall at 2 pm, when the place was full! He took it and went away, of course he got caught, but he did this crazy thing!
Also anotherone stole a gun from a soldier defending a military objective in Constanta, he beat him, this was a month ago and they didnt found the thief, he took a Kalashnikov and the ammunition
You never get bored if you live in Romania, but you also have to have a lot of patience. The good news is that if you make it, you are at ease in any place around the world – except for the progressists woke we have these too, but apart from them, people are very resourceful and get to find their way in any place no matter the difficulties
same with us germans : no souvereignity. we are
slaves to the USZIONS .
America has vetoed so many UN resolutions related to war crimes, American and Israeli war crimes, torture, human rights violations, documented by global rights watch organizations. Why isn’t Russia/China highlighting this in the recent UN/ICJ resolution meetings.
Former American Clown President George Bush even threatened that the US military would invade ICJ if any American was tried for war crimes in Iraq.
How much more blatant can Western double standards get !
Whenever the supremacy of the US Dollar is challenged, America acts as dirty as it could and would go to any lengths to maintain it’s unilateral control, and that includes nuclear war options.
Already the mad dogs at MSM are urging America to launch nuclear attacks on RF , even if that means getting nuked by RF and even if it destroys the whole world! Such crazy are the Khazars in MSM, desiring an all out nuclear war. There was an article/video on http://www.gizmodo.com with Sean Hannity calling for an all out nuclear attack on Russia. Will search and post the link later.
How the US government lied about a nuclear attack
Does China really have a zero-covid policy?
Don’t think they are as stupid, to think anyone could eliminate a virus-family?
I’m far more convinced, we see an actual biological attack here.
Even the stupid and hysterical West has realized, that “Omicron” is basicaly a light cold.
But because there are genetical differences, like lactose intollerance among Asians e. g., it could well be, that Chinese could react stronger to a virus, artificially made more “suitable” to them.
This is an act of war from the empire, but China will determin the time to retaliate, as long as there’s no great harm done.
EU-media report Chinese jumping from high altitude windows because of starvation, unbelievable :-D
I believe the don’t have a zero policy. This policy gives them an excuse or cover to shut the supply chains down to cripple the wests economies.
I certainly take this for granted, still think it was a bio-attack from the beginning, just not as mortal, as the evil empire wished for.
Nature writes its own rules.
Nah, the poorly informed, Westernized ($$$$), Chinese quacks, sadly are using the fake PCR tests, that ONLY ident strands of hep and flu DNA. (97% false positives for CIVID, that is just a lab made spike protein) See my new comment. And, it’s not the side effect of their vaxx, as Sinovac and Sinopharm only use a dead virus-based immune trigger.
Thanks for telling me something ,I know for 2 years (PCR,Spike), lol.
Still, why should the leadership go along with that scam, if not for lulling the west into economical desaster?
You really think, Chinese would be so stupid, to not see Drostens test, for the BS, it is?
My guess would be they use the oportunity to drill for the real deal, that might come anyday. The Zero Policy is a good way to identify cracks in the planning, what works, what doesn’t.
I can confirm that what you wrote is correct. I am in China. I have lived here for nearly 20 years. China is still at DEFCON. Oh, it’s not at all reported in the West. But there are many, many things that are not being reported in the West.
For one thing, it’s a military matter. China is treating this virus issue VERY SERIOUSLY. They are treating all the bioweapons issues with upmost seriousness. Not reported in the West.
Another thing is that the testing is full spectrum. It is not only for coronavirus, but for an array of viruses. And even “clean” locations like my town of Zhuhai conduct mandatory testing every other day.
The “news” from the West about China is off-the-scale in bovine excrement. It’s just all fabricated lies.
I tried to post numerous videos of what it is like inside of China right now on you-tube, and they were blocked! I couldn’t believe it. The reasons varied, but the funniest was for copyright infringement. Funny, as the video was simply myself talking and walking around my neighborhood.
To understand what is going on inside of China right now, you NEED to understand that China and Russia are in a state of high military alert, and they do not trust the West at all.
Just read a sob story about a woman in Shanghai whose father is dying of cancer, and in extreme pain – and she cannot take him to a hospital because they are in a part of Shanghai that is locked down. She speaks to wester MSM in order to get the municipal authorities to take note of her case, and help her father.
Only she isn’t using her real name for fear of those same authorities. Of course. I would like to know how the authorities, any authorities, are supposed to help her – or her father – if they cannot find them. Several more stories of that type.
Apparently she gave her real name somewhere. And the local authorities agreed to take her father to hospital – if she deletes all her social media posts first. Of course she refused. It’s absolutely crucial to get one’s priorities straight. I guess.
Anyone who is sick and urgently needs help can contact their neighbourhood committee by phone and in the chat groups, there will be help and an ambulance called for immediately. I have seen that in action. You can go to the hospitals for non-emergency procedures, let alone an emergency.
All Shanghai compounds have a neighbourhood committee exactly for this reason. Either she does not know about it, which is almost impossible since they do make themselves known to every household, or she is not revealing the full extent of her story.
I suspect this is a fake news. It defies logic that a dying cancer patient can’t go to hospital. So are all hospitals empty right now?
“And the local authorities agreed to take her father to hospital – if she deletes all her social media posts first. ”
– Chinese authority could delete those posts easily if they want. So this is unlikely to be a true statement.
“Of course she refused.”
– So the “poor” woman prefer her father to die painfully of cancer rather than deleting her social media posts – what a “priority”.
The Empire of lies has been paying hundreds of millions dollars for all sorts of psy-op about China. This story smells too fishy.
as another alien living in Shenzhen which recently (March) had our own 7 day pop-up lockdown, my insight into what makes their system work:
1/ as soon as u move into a building of apartments, you will be added to their “group chat” social media (WeChat) of residents and management. Here you are kept informed of news of PCR test schedules, local security issues, food supplies, etc. .
2/ with the group networking media, emergency response is near instantaneous and total
3/ the practicality and success of group purchasing system comes down to (a) cashless E-payments only (b) the abundance of delivery and logistical support, whatever yr address (c) the trust that goods will be delivered, the confidence the service will be satisfactory, the discipline of the people to one another
4/ in a nutshell, its a “all 4 one and one 4 all” society. Foreigner or not, I am community too.
Sure, there will be the occasional hipcups, but try locking down a city of 20 million in the west.
PS: whether you think Covid is a conspiracy or not, these lockdowns may be construed as “rehearsals” for future bio threats – but comes at a huge cost to the people and the govnt.
Here’s my personal on the ground report just to add a little more colour to the Shanghai stories. As of this week I have received my third round of fresh food from the government. A big slab of pork, 1.5L of vegetable oil, a big batch of fresh greens, onions, chillies, and hardy vegetables like radish and carrots. We are so far from starving that my neighbours complained about the over-abundance of carrots, never wanting to eat radishes again for half a year, and if we will ever receive spring onions. It is now my third (or fourth?) week of lockdown, and I have participated in 5-6 group buys. My fridge is too full to store more food items on their way to me. Same goes for some of my neighbours. We have started bartering, I gave away my bottle of fresh milk to a neighbour who needed it. She gave me brown sugar in return. Last week I ran out of salt and sugar, and someone gave me half a pack of each.
Our security guards and cleaners ran out of food because their irresponsible employers did not care for their wellbeing (yes there are still some unscrupulous employers here), so we came together and donated 10kg of rice, meats, greens, noodles, buns, the lot. Same goes for a group of migrant workers who live in the compound and asked for help.
Food is abundant. What is lacking is logistics and distributions manpower. Some local leaders have made terrible decisions in dealing with the crisis, hence the horror stories. People are frustrated at the mayor and provincial leaders; they were using the Delta methods to deal with Omicron. However the speed with which people got together to solve problems is astounding. Imagine the Chinese speed in building infrastructure, applied to shopping. Nothing can stop them from getting their eggs, greens and pork, but now that we’ve got that stocked up we’ve moved on to soda drinks, alcohol and cakes.
I’ve never really spoken with my neighbours up to this point, but the crisis has brought us closer. It feels like living in a close-knit village.
But why are you having lockdowns when lockdowns clearly never work? This is ridiculous! The Western reports may be exaggerations but they don’t change the fact that this kind of government action is pointless.
Maybe they suspect it’s a bioweapon and they have no idea what the longterm effects are. Or maybe they have no definite numbers to back up their suspicion.
Lockdown worked in 2020, it worked for Delta, but it’s not working for Omicron.
Lockdown works. I’m a foreigner living in Anyang, Henan Province. We had a complete lockdown starting Jan 11, 2022 up to 31st Jan 2022 which was Chinese New Year Eve.
All restrictions were lifted after 7 days after the CNY first day.
It was very tough as it was way stricter than the 7 weeks lockdown we had back in February 2020 after the US Virus attack on China.
No cases after 11 nucleic tests.
So why do you say lockdowns don’t work.
If you suggest lockdown don’t work, please look into the total cases and dead in China per populations and compare them to any country you wish.
You cannot use a western lenses to look into China. China will protect human lives at all cost. Can you imagine if some of the dead was your relatives or love ones, would you think lockdown was a good idea ?
To my understanding lockdown do work, but only work if people are willing to abide by them.
That is why in those Eastern Countries where lockdown are in place, and people abide by them COVID cases are one-tenth of what is seen in those Western Countries where lockdowns were put in place, and people did not abide. Those studies stating that lockdowns do not work, only looked at the Western Countries. Having read some of the reports myself, they state that the reason lockdowns do not work is precisly because too many people fail to abide by them.
Either China bowed down to the You-know-Who and use their own country and people as a proving ground for what the West soon will experience or some new US phuckery is afoot with some newly inserted B-weapon.
Could be C as well I guess, i.e some combo.
All I can say for sure is that those that rule the West are anathema to the Good, the True and the Beautiful so it´s wise to follow the Vox Day approach, wait and see because the MSM always lies.
exactly, you are right !
Matthew Kroenig and other so-called journalists love war but are never in the front lines fighting that hell that they wish to unleash upon the world. Never see bodies torn to pieces. Never see the destruction brought about by bad policies. They all remain back in the states, thousands of miles away from the grinder, sipping champagne, eating the best foods courtesy of the American taxpayer, the ones who they send to die. “In peace the sons bury the fathers, in war the fathers bury the sons.” Herodotus.
They still have the bombs and can turn us into glass.
That is the only critical issue left and it needs to be handled wisely.
therefore the main instigators of wars (rothschilds, rockefellers, illuminaty, comitee 3-500,

The main problem with China is that it is as much a bully as the US. Just ask any neighboring country. China claims everyone’s land as its own and it abuses its power. It is forever conniving against other countries. Just like the Westerners believe they are exceptional, the Chinese believe the same. There is no difference.
If China really wants to be respected it should stop making claims on the land and sea of countries like India, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Malaysia etc. Just take the example of Quad. India is supporting Russia despite immense US pressure, yet on the other hand India has no choice but to align with the US, Japan, and Australia to counter Chinese aggression. The Chinese should walk the talk, and try to build trust, not generate fear and apprehension.
Yeah, I agree, if they behave like the United States, they won’t be perceived as viable alternative. This is how the United States treats the democratically elected leaders of those countries:
Interview with the President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte:
‘US, EU meddle in other countries & kill people under guise of human rights concerns’ – Duterte
“If I survive the CIA I have five years to go.” (@t = 10:52)
So, all China needs to do is not threaten to assassinate the leaders of those neighboring countries and it will appear like a “great deal”” to them, verses having an American bullet in their heads.
Apparently, Pakistan received the US message about having Imran Khan lead them and they took the necessary steps. In Myanmar the US probably failed to payoff the generals and they stepped in…and the Duterte interview gives credence to their claims about “election meddling” because if the US is happy to put Duterte 6ft under, election meddling is a no-brainer.
If Russia, China, India and the Global South countries get together, it should not be hard to construct a world better that the one the United States has constructed, which appears to be no better than a the Roman provincial system. The US might do better if it appointed Imperial Governors to those countries, verses wrapping itself in the disguise of “human rights and democracy”, which reeks of hypocrisy.
i suspect that former pakistan president Zia Ul Haq was assesinated
in planecrash by CIA or mossad .
there are many suspect planecrashes in the world specialy with
remote controlable Boeings .
yes you are right ,
what US ZION is to the west
China is to the east .
and it will become ZIOChina !
“If China really wants to be respected it should stop making claims on the land and sea of countries like India, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Malaysia etc. ”
Land and sea disputes are everywhere for almost every countries in the world for thousands of years of human history. Currently, over one hundred countries are involved in some disputes with their neighbors – Japan has disputes with Korea, Russia, Taiwan. Vietnam has disputes with Philippines, Malaysia. US has disputes with Columbia, Canada. UK has disputes with France, Argentina, Spain,… and so on. And I haven’t even mentioned about those disputes in Middle East and Africa.
The fact that you single out China but ignore all the others – including the overlapping and mutual disputes among Chinese neighbors – tells the readers more about yourself than about China.
Chinese has the 2nd or 3rd most powerful military force in the world, and yet they haven’t fired a single bullet for about 4 decades. Now compare that with all the great, medium and even small military forces in the world like US, UK, France, Australia, Germany, Korea, India, Russia, Israel, etc. China is the most self-restrained and disciplined country in the world.
So much “smoke”, so little facts.
I really hope that you learn more about all those claimant history before positing here. Thank you.
I believe the zero Covid policy has to do with preparedness for a biological attack from the West. This is the main threat China perceives to its otherwise bright future as a founding member of a multipolar world.
“chinas bright founding member of a multipolar world” ?
are you kidding ? an empire of lies like we have already !
There is a typo in the paragraph above Cyrus Jannsen’ photograph:
“Cyrus Vance” was the Secretary of State under President Carter who resigned in protest of NSA director Zbigniew Brzezinski’s plans to escalate the Cold War in Afghanistan.
Thanks Ralph – now fixed.
Very well put together, Amarynth.
A much needed counter blast to the endless xenophobia, paranoia and plain
malevolence of the western hate machine and it’s gullible followers.
The most striking thing I’ve noticed over the years about Americans – with very few exceptions – is that while some of them have a bit of understanding about their own pathological regime, they don’t know shit about other countries.
Especially now in these dangerous times we are in, we should be very respectful of China, deaf to the anti-China hate machine rhetoric and extremely glad of it’s close friendship with Russia because the very future of humanity may hinge on that relationship.
I happen to live in Shanghai and want to comment on our situation. CNN and co. are lying about Shanghai, but let’s also not embellish the reality. Some people do have trouble, luckily there is a lot of solidarity. But some local authorities have really done a bad job and I’m sure there will be consequences.
I believe every word that the commenter @Bonks wrote but the situation is in many places not as rosy as described. It is a lottery, some places are well-managed others not so much.
The people in our Xiao Qu haven’t received anything apart from some vegetables and milk – no rice, no meat. It is very difficult to buy groceries via online app. If I wouldn’t have stocked up before this whole mess begun, I would already be in deep trouble. I have started rationing.
I am an anti-imperialist to the core and I have deep respect for China’s achievements but what is happening now in Shanghai is really the first time that I think that China has to correct course on a major issue to prevent significant damage. The people are suffering and there is a growing number of Chinese people that are voicing opposition to this health-policy.
In our area, downtown Puxi, people have now been confined for 2 weeks in their apartments. The information campaign is amateurish, there is no end in sight. The food supply logistics are overwhelmed. I know people in Pudong area that have now been confined for 3 weeks.
And before I forget: What for is all this? We are being told by the Shanghai health authorities that 95% to 98% of the cases are asymptomatic.
The Chinese. quacks, heavily influenced by Western medicine,(alopathy ie DRUGS=$$$$), are stubbornly using the faulty PCR test. As a result they have these fake outbreaks. As real COVID news is heavily censored worldwide, thanks to corrupt Phyza, (I’m banned from all forums and news outlets in Siam), so many countries are reporting massive outbreaks.. but of WHAT?
Also.. keeping in mind, that the so called effects of Omicron, are actually the effects of the killer mRNA vaxes. (14 youngish Mayors in Germany and Austria have just DROPPED DEAD from heart failure. 14 tennis players failed to play in the US open from.. med problems).

Thomas, I have no idea why your post slipped through moderation – in fact two of them.
We do not handle any health aspects of any Covid on this blog. Please refer to Moderation Policy number 18.
We freely talk about policies, political, ideological, social and economic aspects.
Then, just a warning while the mods shake out their feathers.
Please do not respond to this pretend virologist.
In fact, we have a local name for these types which I will not mention now.
So, Thomas, please refrain from your type of Covid preaching and proselytizing in total.
The US modus operandi against China has been very stale : shamelessly lying, no irrefutable evidences about Chinese atrocities have been provided at all. Those sobbing witnesses, those pretty raped victims by Chinese goons, those concrete concentration camps, those one to three millions incarcerated minorities photos were all US/EU financed fakes. Congress funded West MNM to play along with one edict: all negative, no positive, on China. Very predictable. MNM sold their souls for money.
So to us, the current US/NATO propaganda (some called it PSYOP) against Russia is an old, rehashed show, nothing innovative under the sun. Same playbook, just different actor clowns.
No one has seen the videos of people jumping out the windows in China because they are not being fed? Of drones and robots policing the streets? Oh, wait thats fake. China says so.
Well you know, if you do a modicum of research you will find those videos are solely pumped by western anti-china sources.
That is also why they never show you anything like this:
And OMG, there is police on the street? Were you even aware that Chinese local police forces do not even carry weapons? What happens to people’s thinking when we start talking about China? The major propaganda since Trumpies Trade War is taking its toll.
Drones and robots carried most of the food during the Olympics. They were quite cute.
At least Twitter has thousands of anti-Russia and anti-China bots. Take a look:
While I’m on the subject, the ‘screaming’ video has been ‘resuscitated’ from Wuhan days.
Here is the source of the ‘screaming’ video and exactly what people are shouting.
Jennifer Zeng 曾錚
People in #Wuhan shouting together from their apartments last night. Some say they shouted to pay tribute to Li Wenliang, who first exposed #CoronaVirus Outbreak, and who died yesterday. What they shouted though, is “Wuhan, Add oil”, meaning keep fighting, pump up, or cheer up
You have to take any Western reporting as false.
I remember, back in Decembre 2019 or January 2020, when China did not know what they had, except that it was probably a corona virus, it was very contagious, it was devastating to the victims. They locked down the city and the province.
There was a video on CGTN or Global Times : People came out on their balconies late evening and called out in the darkness to each other … I emphasize ‘out’ ‘in the darkness’ ‘to each other’ … “Add oil!” “Add oil!” “Add oil.” After a while they would sing their anthem, ‘March of the Volunteers’; then go back inside.
I am acrophobic. Just seeing those buildings in a little video window scares the hell out of me. Those people did not know what was coming for them. Likely, they had heard stories : you don’t just turn green or something and die; you struggle noisily gasping for breath and die of exhaustion.
They called out in the darkness to each other.
If my people would call out in the darkness to each other, america would be a scary memory that adults would pretend to disbelieve. “If you kids don’t settle down, the americans will come and get you!”
Mandarin is an old language … 3 to 5 thousand years … with many growths, borrowings, and accretions. English used to be an oldish language, having appropriated a rich treasure of words and expressions from Greek, Latin, Hebrew, Norse, Arabic, Persian, Hindu, nearly every language and culture in the world, including Mandarin. English even borrowed from English! One of the things I most hate, yes HATE, about american consumer culture is that it has, in my life time, robbed us of our wealthy English language, leaving us only Newspeak.
The Chinese, like almost all of us, had (and in some places still have) oil lamps. A bowl or saucer, simple or elaborate, containing oil or fat, vegetable, animal, fish, mineral, and a wick of moss, braded grass, or woven silk. When the light grows dim, the Welsh Poet cries, “Rage! Rage against the dying of the light!”. The Chinese calls out in the darkness, “Add oil!”. “Fear not!” “The light will return!” “We are here!”
Add oil! We are here!
Mandarin per se is not as old as thousands of years. All those southern regional dialects are considered to be remnants of old chinese. Mandarin was incorporated into Chinese society starting from Ching dynasty. It is more recent in history. Korean language is very much influenced by old chinese as well. When i started studying Korean language i observed many phonetic parallel between it and Cantonese, though the regions are completely separated by vaste distance.
Only losers are jealous of any positives about China and Russia.
Never heard of these western losers cared about the homeless in London, Continental Europe, DC, NYC, LA, SF, and Chicago. Where are you, losers, when some Ukrainian refugees in EU are being mistreated, abused, sex-traded, hungered, or ignored?
yes you are right kita supporter .
the western silencing, censuring+ lying propaganda medias
steered by CIA/MI5+6/MOSSAD are worst than once the
communist Pravda !
If only I understood Chinese I would like to know what this guy is saying in the video posted by Armstrong?
Learn Chinese. It will become a dominant language before you get senile.
I highly doubt it will happen soon. Before long, i believe AI will perfect the role of translation and most of us mortals would never bother to learn any languages – similar to students are not taught any math tricks with wholesale use of calculators.
China is a basket case
Chinas ‘one child policy’ created a catastrophic demographic situation where there are half as many workers to provide for the old who now live far longer in their retirement.
The lack if diversity in investment opportunities have crowded nearly all household investment into the property development sector, and a full third of those investments are NOT GOING TO PAY OFF and lots of folks are not going to be happy with the ‘one party system’ in the near future.
I would bet, if China had an election, with Xi and Putin on the ballot, Putin would win!
Expect the people of Chinas respect for Russia to outlast their respect for the Chines Communist Party.
Them Rooskies should not put too many of their eggs in the ChiCom basket.
Oh my god! This comment is a basket case!
Biggest mistake by city planners are these high rises and its global! Like an engineer said from Hong Kong on another blog the last place you want to be is in one of these buildings when the power goes out. If it’s out for a long lenght if time your finished period.
I mentioned this to my brother who worked in Toronto and got locked in at days end. He was up on the thirtieth floor and had to descend by way of the stairs. It took him just over 3 hours to exit and some of it was in pitch blackness. He curses high rises and laughs at those willing to pay 700,000. For the view while living in a 700 sq ft prison!
Strata and high rises are an insane real estate enterprise!
on other hand political secret services of diferent kind could instigate a terror act
and bomb those highrise from the underground as already happened in Moskau
to instigate the tshetshenian war . or see the seaside condominium of MIAMI/FL .
i would not like to live in those highrise buildings .
“I would bet, if China had an election, with Xi and Putin on the ballot, Putin would win!”
Blah, blah, blah. patriotic Chinese has to start hating Putin / Russia – that is the sub-text here.
Looks like the trolls are working overtimes.
one of China’s 55 ethnic minorities
That figure of 55 shouldn’t be believed for one microsecond! I don’t know the actual numbers, for China but they definitely must be in the many hundreds, maybe even more, considering the diversity of habitats, diversity of cultural strands, and shear size. I would think 500-800 might be a plausible start, but that is shear guess, no more.
The 55 is probably a CIA misinfo number that only lists what is of interest to them.
There are always a small number of really major groups, a rather larger number of minor (but significant) groups, and then huge numbers of really diverse and really small, ill-known groups. Any of China’s southern neighbours EACH has hundreds of distinct ethnic groups.
BM, that is a formal Chinese statistic.
OK, I looked at your link. They are indeed probably mostly groupings of lots of similar tribes, I would guess. Certainly one of them, the Dai, is actually composed of dozens of completely distinct ethnic groups with their own languages, costumes, customs, and conceptions of themselves. Interestingly the biggest group, the Zhuang, is also a little bit related to the Dai.
Taking a huge bow now in their theater of urgent needs is seeds: Chinese Seeds, Chinese developed, and Chinese local seeds.
Does anyone here have direct knowledge of Chinese seeds and quality? My experience has been of seed for vegetable crops where the vegetables produced go rotten excessively quickly, are very bland in taste, and very low in nutrition. I’d really like to know whether that is at all typical (it may be highly dependent on market). China is a huge country with huge numbers of companies, some good some bad. Some foreign markets are dominated by the bad companies, good companies don’t fare so well, while other markets are dominated by good companies, bad companies get squeezed out. Maybe that is also true of seeds? Maybe there are good companies producing high quality seed (that produces good quality and tasty nutritious products) for a fair but not rock bottom* price?
(* Mind you, sometimes the markets specialising in crap junk are not even cheap, and may cost much more than good quality in better regulated and more competitive markets!!)
The current war in Ukraine is just a practice for what is going to happen next in the Pacific, for both sides.
China certainly should exit the Western countries has far and quickly as they can. The West would try and do to them what they are trying to do to Russia in a heartbeat. But they also need to be careful in which other countries they switch investments to. They need to invest in countries that have pro-Chinese and pro-Russian governments. Guyana,is in bed with the West and will follow the West’s orders. Brazil at present is open to question. It’s part of BRIC’s,but it’s elites are pro-Western. So it’s a risky bet there. On the other hand,Venezuela, with the world’s largest reserve of oil.Even larger than Saudi Arabia’s. And Cuba,a fellow communist party state would like to see massive Chinese investment. In those two countries,as well as a few others in Latin America that aren’t under total US control (Bolivia, Nicaragua ,maybe Honduras) would be safe bets for China to invest in. And then there are many in Africa, and Asia,Syria,Lebanon, and Algeria are just three I can think of quickly that would be good bets for Chinese “win, win” investments. That would help China, and those countries at the same time.
Not all pro western countries are against Russia or china.
Four countries today are pushing the west to ease its sanctions against Russia and all are western allies:
Turkey, Finland, UAE and Morocco.
In 2014 when the west sanctioned Russia both Turkey and Morocco (allies of the west) refused to sanction Russia.
China chooses to investe with Morocco more than it does in Algeria (for security reasons).
The bioweapons is a serious issue for China. The Chinese remembers very well the human atrocities committed in the infamous Japanese Unit 731 where they committed medical atrocities on alive Chinese POWs. Famously they brutally tortured them and performed insane medical experiments on prisoners. After the war, many of the officers in command of such programs were pardoned after selling the research to the US military. The US biolabs in Ukraine will be a serious issue.
Well written, balanced, sober write up. Gracias!
Haters will always hate, no remedy for that unfortunately.. as Larch once memorably put it, some folks will die seeing China as the “the Red Menace of the Yellow Peril”, lol.
“Their current concern is future management of Covid. They have concerns that their Zero-Covid strategy needs to be adjusted.” Yes indeed! 😁 Mission accomplished. They did their part in deep-sixing Western economies. Now they can return to the standard millennias-long minimalist management policy for plagues and contagion.
The Chinese covid Judo-move will be studied in history and geoeconomic books for generations. In the Chinese operating room, they applied the necessary general anesthesia on the delusional morbidly obese patient, in urgent need of brain tumor excision. Russia then took up its role as the dashing fearless Neurosurgeon.
wonderful, i like nuklear war between US/NATO/RUSSIA/CHINA !
it suits my objectives .
I would actually like you to just go away with comments such as that.
Amarynth, your analysis is astute, comprehensive, very helpful= brilliant, thank you!
Off topic but most important hot news:
Russian villages(in the RF!!!) were attacked my ukrainian military helicopters!
One more attack on Russian territory:
All this while in Kiev life goes on safely, without restrictions and NATO henchmen come and go as they please???!!!
Russia should kindly advise the “high-level officials” who plan to meet in Kiev that there is a war going on, or rather “a special operation unfolding,” and nobody can guarantee their safety. They may well do a Pelosi and suddenly be struck by COVID, as she did when the Chinese frowned on her visit to Taiwan.
In the meantime a couple of knocks on the roofs in Odessa may calm down maritime initiatives from that quarter.
The attacks on Russian villages needs to be responded to immediately but not with words.
What “document”?! No more documents. No more negotiations. No more assurances that Russia wants to negotiate, or even less, wants to meet with the penile piano playing puppet.Only measures (ALL measures) that lead to Ukraine’s surrender.
While I like the overall China posts, the empire really has done a number on people with the COVID narrative. This is how successful and deep/complex the propaganda is. The ‘medical stuff’ is the propaganda (because what’s pushed by the empire isn’t actually science, which depends upon transparency, competition of ideas, falsifiability, etc.)
“…China’s principled management of Covid…”; “…the government does what is best for the people and they have evidence and proof of this…”
How does one analyze claims like that without testing the premises and evidentiary basis thereof? The official evidence about the virus and the disease is a morass of empire propaganda, state secrets, conflicted careerists, and smearing of anybody who deviates from the approved talking points.
Three fundamental political truths can simultaneously be true:
1. China of course is the most powerful nation on the planet in the 21st century and has every right as a sovereign nation to decide its own domestic policies without interference from or rule by DC, London, or anywhere else.
2. Not everybody wants to live in a world where they are supposed to trust that big central governments are doing what’s best for them with limited publicly available data and no allowed mechanism to dispute government dictates or ensuring protection of minority/individual/human rights.
3. The empire uses elements of truth from #2 to selectively attack critics of the empire (in both Zone A and Zone B). That doesn’t make the empire good or people who question authority bad. Rather, it’s an effective strategy because nations like China haven’t (publicly, at least) committed to whether they want to restore an international order based on the primacy of the individual (loosely speaking a more ‘western’ lens of what the UN ought to be) or want to move global political economy to a model where the majority/collective rules (loosely speaking a more ‘eastern’ lens of creating structure separate from the UN).
At the end of the day, “trust authority” sounds an awful lot like Beijing and DC are more on the same page than not.
citizen8, thanks for a reasonable response.
I’ll handle it in principle. We’re dealing with a different civilizational model.
If you’re serious about analizing claims and testing .. well, that takes work. I’m many years into China studies. I’ve worked with professional Chinese and have lectured professional Chinese and have met and dealt with more working class Chinese. So, I do know what their stances are and they could care less about the ‘primacy of the individual’. There more socialistic model works for them.
I would suggest you go and read all the Here Comes China columns (just punch that into the search). A lot of governance has been handled there.
I also really liked Godfree’s book – Why China Leads the World.
Then, I would read all of Jeff Brown’s books – https://www.amazon.com/Jeff-J-Brown/e/B00TX0TDDI?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1625143999&sr=8-1
And you will find the Chinese government model much less of a big central model and to an amazing extent driven by the Chinese people. You only have to whisper – the people won’t like it, to see the whole government pivot. Once there is a governmental dictat, it has been fully tested from grassroots up.
But that has all been handled in the Here Comes China columns.
If you want to know what their governance model is, this is a fair description. Do take the time. Your head may even explode :-) Any big announcement has already been handled by the grassroots and approved on that level.
Thank you for your article and reference links for further information. I did read the twitter thread on Chinese government until I was booted off the site (regardless, I read at least 50% before that happened). If the governance model does reflect/support the culture of the Chinese people, then this is a beneficial structure in that respect. I was quite pleased with the accomplishment (both education and experience) based ladder of assent for positions of political influence. This model is very different than the one in the USA where it’s more of a popularity contest at the local level and a money plus connections contest at the regional and broader levels. It is true that there is essentially only one political party in the USA (at least that has been true for several decades). Also true is that the US government and many large corporations now bow to a global organization who’s interests may or may not reflect the needs of the nation or its culture (what the USA culture consists of or whether it has one at all is open for debate). Something I find critical to keep in mind is that power corrupts no matter the geological location, no matter the power structure, and no matter the culture over which it presides.
There are two areas in the body of your original article that I question. One is concerning the present functionality of the Shanghai port – just this morning I saw a marine traffic report displaying Shanghai and it appeared extremely congested. There are also a number of reports coming out concerning supply chain problems developing in various global regions because of the Shanghai ongoing port congestion.due to the “lockdown”. Two – and I will be vague in how I state this due to this site’s policies – there have been a great many misrepresentations concerning the medical situation persisting around the globe. To not question the validity of what is being said and responses being implemented as well as the underlying reasons for both is, in my view, foolish at best.
If China wanted to send a warning to the West concerning just a small economic impact of what sanctions against China would feel like, then this port closure serves as a reminder (this same effect was felt in 2020). If one looks, one can see many levels of “play” in this very serious competition.
Maintaining an open questing mind and applying critical thinking discernment techniques seems the most prudent in these times.
I don’t follow the Shanghai port very seriously – I just get the stats .. yes, it is highly congested and has been so since the whole … well, we can call it breakdown already I think? … of supply chains.
With the lockdown in China, well I think China is a serious country and I don’t think they will lock down Shanghai or anywhere as an erstwhile warning. There are easier ways to do that than to play games. That we are in for an interesting time in flows of goods, materials, trade, finance etc., is probably not an understatement. Both China and Russia gave the western climes absolutely sufficient time to come to the party, and they refused. It is not in Russia or China’s interest that the economy in the world blows up.
About the medical aspects of Covid. We’ve had on the blog real first-hand experience. Everyone and their dog immediately turn into a newly absolutely solid virologist that wants to tell everyone else what they should do and they get virulently nasty if you don’t immediately follow. I had never seen such nastiness. It is not our task here. I support the site policy for this blog without reservation. Having said that, as a private endeavor, I studied what China did and a few of us kept informing one another on the Saker Community site. There somewhere for example I have a treatise on how China does testing, but that is old now because methods are being developed as we speak.
For interest sake, two tidbits.
Asking the Chinese people for input: https://english.news.cn/20220414/8425004540cf42898fadd1abd0b48e88/c.html
And then, a very soft hand by Global Times, known for their wolf warrior diplomacy, on Shanghai lockdown. Tempers are fraying and if anyone finds that surprising, well, what can I say?
Thank you for sharing additional thoughts. Your view concerning the port situation as a warning to the West has merit. As far as the global economy disintegration not being in Russia and China’s interest, I will not dispute this but I will state that the global economy is disintegrating regardless of who does or does not want that to happen. Some say this is occuring by design; others say it’s due to widespread incompetence and stupidity. Perhaps some of both.
I appreciate your further clarification concerning this site’s policy regarding medically related discussions. I also viewed the Global Times article you linked (the Chinese news link did not work for me). After extensive research, I have reached certain conclusions regarding the medical scenario. I respect the right of everyone to have their own opinion on any subject, including this one. I do draw the line at someone attempting to impose their views on others (I am not referring to yourself – this is just a general statement). I’ll only make one other comment regarding this subject – it saddens me greatly to observe the psychological damage people of all ages and all nations have and are suffering due to this situation and how it has been addressed. Unfortunately it appears that the traumas people are experiencing will only become more severe as further breakdown of social and economic systems occur.
Blessings to you Amarynth and to all those who embrace goodness.
amarynth, I do like your posts. I feel like what we Americans can add to the present dynamic is a hard-won understanding of the strengths of the empire, to not fall for the easy trap of just thinking the fascists are stupid (or at least not strategic) and stopping there.
Where I’m attempting to broaden the perspective of the discourse isn’t the justification for internal Chinese policy-making but rather connecting it to how it looks (can be made to look…) by those outside China. Nevermind the hyperventilating from USUK corporate media (sensationalism is just a tool, the decision-makers don’t actually believe any of it), even descriptions from places like RT do not make China sound like they value things like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights or the Nuremberg principles/protocols. If you have to use force (physical, financial, reputational, etc.) to confine people or alter their behavior, it’s not voluntary. It means a large enough minority of people have a fundamentally different risk calculation that government is 1) noticing, and 2) taking concrete action against them*.
Again, that’s not a judgment against internal Chinese policymaking and genuine popular opinion. Rather, it’s a sober assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of China leading a global consensus against the US when it is so easy, absent specific promises from Beijing to the contrary, to make it appear that China basically would be another version of DC control rather than viewing and wielding power itself differently in international relations. Why would someone in Dallas or Berlin or Sydney that dislikes the western policy response to COVID be any more comfortable with Chinese leadership when they can shut down a whole city with no (publicly available) evidence that widespread lockdowns are scientifically beneficial? SARS-CoV-2 is endemic now across the world, it’s not being eradicated (again, unless Beijing has non-public info, like maybe they’re really close to an actual vaccine that will actually prevent infection and disease and so they are buying a little bit more time to protect their domestic population).
*Or, it means this isn’t about COVID at all. Maybe it’s prep for a potential future US-released bioweapon, or maybe it’s economic warfare to slow down global supply chains, or something else entirely. The point surfaces, then, that the Chinese government is being intentionally dishonest (publicly) even if there are legitimate national security reasons for the deception behind the scenes.
Thanks for sharing this. It will be interesting as this decoupling of the world economy happens – I call it bifurcation.
The West is also decoupling. The USA government approved a taxpayer funded development of microprocessor manufacturing (socialism for the rich) and I believe asked Taiwan’s leading microprocessor firm TSMC to relocate its state of the art fabrication plants to the USA.
News today that there is an unannounced visit to Taiwan of several members of Congress, including Senator Bob Menendez, a rightwing Democrat from New Jersey.
I seriously believe it is only a matter of time before China moves in on Taiwan. I believe China is prudent to wait until it has a strategic response to a first strike by the USA and news reports are that China is rapidly developing this response:
Great article, Amarynth. Thanks.
Rock Solid?? Huawei is leaving the Russian market…so much for strategic partnership.
Awe phuleeeze. They are re-assessing their product mix so that they do not supply Russia with anything that has US origins. Sanctions.
I have in any case written Jeff Brown, who has deep info here, to find out the real story.
On this little bit of Huawei moving out of Russia .. at this stage, I declare it an attempt to break relationship between Russia and China coming from Russia itself.
There is nothing written here, and if it was true, it would have been all over the map for sure. I traced it back from SCMP (which people should really be careful with) to The Moscow Times (yes, that! Moscow Times which people should know by now).
I have one more inquiry outstanding, but this is not true. Re-assessing product mix is an ongoing issue now with sanctions.
China is a sedentary civilization. Its nature tends towards stability to the point of sometimes stagnation. It can be a very useful counterbalance towards the chaos sown by a certain old nomadic tribe around the world.
One can simply look at nations which has large Chinese populations and see the stability they bring.
One can also look at what their diametric opposites the nomads bring to the countries that are their hosts before they are ejected eventually. (We’re at 110 or 111 now? Hard to keep track of the count nowadays)
We’re in the middle of a civilizational war. One between sedentary civilization vs nomadic tribe. Between Christianity and virtuous pagans on one side and globalist satanists on the other. Between civilization builders vs civilization parasites and destroyers.
If Russia and China don’t prevail there will be another dark age upon humanity and it’ll probably be worse than any that has come before.
still sure, China is doing great with zero covid politics?
I doubt it.
Thank you for this.
I immediately wondered about the few seconds of video I saw of Shanghai, with sounds of supposedly the entire population screaming for help from their apartments.
First, if they were starving they would not have or waste the strength. Secondly, I don’t believe the sound would carry to the distance shown. Third, it is an easy fake to add a soundtrack.
One question: are they or are they not killing people’s pet dogs & cats? I had read it was ordered in one town, and then immediately rescinded. Then suddenly it was supposedly happening everywhere.
Excellent report, Amarynth. Your revelations lend great credence to China’s assertion to the US that there are different kinds of democracy.
China obviously takes care of its people, while here in USica, we enjoy only the “privilege” of voting for sociopaths that clearly don’t give a rat’s ass about the “common welfare”; instead, our pre-selected presidential candidates’ sole concern seems to be for the *corporate* welfare.
I’ve been astounded for some time at the amount of flak China’s hugely successful “Zero Covid” approach has been subjected to by ignorant mainstream mouthpieces. But then, official Western “policy” seems to now be an affirmation of [Dickens’] Ebeneezer Scrooge’s wish to “decrease the surplus population”.
Thanks again for a splendid article.
“Four countries today are pushing the west to ease its sanctions against Russia and all are western allies:
Turkey, Finland, UAE and Morocco.”
You can pull Finland out from your list. Sadly it has become (once again) one of those vicious anti Russia hatemongers with just few elder generation politicians questining the meaning of sanctions. The future of Finland now looks quite grim. Actually many investors are leaving the country with “Russia risk”. Finland now is even losing foreign hich tech workers and generally speaking it has reputation to get quite low educated low productive immigrants. Demograpichs of Finland is horrible when every new born generation is 35% smaller than its parents. It’s early splendid repution of good education based on (rather questinable) PISA results have gone sharply down and more and more young generation even native Finns can’t write and understand language well enough. So Finland is now getting its first real taste of Thatcherist shock care. Warmongering and hatemongering is now in Finland record highest since 1944. If there is most wannabee American own not yet Nato slut in world it’s likely Finland. Austria and Sweden are far more neutral than Finland.
I’d give all Russians and pro Russia readers of this blog warning: please stop believing in myth of Finland’s neutrality and “pro Russia” attitude. I know my folks verywell. I have witnessed how Finland have now record fastest tendence to become as vicious Russia hater as they were in 1918-1944. Finns are even more easy to brainwash than other Europeans because they foolishly believe all their state propaganda. They are famous to believe in all they read and watch. Finns are very naive people and their high education actually makes things very easy for state propaganda machine.
I have always wondered if there was a fair untampered plebescite in Taiwan on the subject of reunification with the mainland what would the results be? Curious… Of course it would never be allowed to happen…why not? What does so-called democracy have to lose? Would it be 1958 vietnam redux? Intolerable to ZOG? Am i dumb to wonder?Democracy? I am so sick of that word…i prefer Freedom
Taiwan does not want to do that. Chances are that they will lose, especially now as confidence in the Taiwanese gov is getting lower. Also Taiwan does not want to do that, and this is historical – Taiwan believes it owns China – it believes it is China, so to even call a referendum will knock their own socks off. Its a long story.
China just calls them a recalcitrant province.
Nathan Rich has most of the history correct here, but it is a bigger story. Anyway, this gives the idea:
Taiwan is not a country, even if you wish really hard.
Three taikonauts have just returned safely after a stay of six months in Chinese space station. In the coming one year, China will launch two more laboratory modules to complete the space station. Two more crews will be dispatched for six-months missions. There will be an overlapping of 2-weeks, meaning there will be 6 taikonauts in space at the same time. There will be two more cargo spacecrafts to carry the supplies for the two teams.
There is a cooperative mission to build a moon base with Russia. With Russia withdrawing joint projects with the US and EU, there might be more cooperation.
For 2022, it will be another busy year for Chinese space industry- busier than 2021 which saw a total of 55 launches.
