The crisis in the Middle East is developing further.
In Saudi Arabia, the purge continued. According to Middle East Eye, senior Saudi figures were tortured and beaten in the purge under the banner of an anti-corruption movement, conducted by current Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman
He has overseen arrests of hundreds of people, including senior royals, ministers and tycoons, with some of them reportedly being tortured so badly during their arrest or subsequent interrogations that they required hospital treatment. Even Prince Bandar bin Sultan — Saudi Arabia’s most famous arms dealer, longtime former ambassador to the US, and recent head of Saudi intelligence — was reported to be among those detained as part of the purge.
If confirmed, this will be the most significant and high profile case of this purge, even above that of high profile billionaire investor Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, considering Bandar’s closeness to multiple US administrations.
This comes amidst rumors that King Salman was set to make his son king. Speculation peaked when Al-Arabiya tweeted, then quickly deleted, details of the allegedly imminent Mohammed bin Salman’s ascension ceremony. These rumors were not confirmed. However, Prince Mohammed already plays a key role in decision making at almost all levers of government.
The Crown Prince also accused Tehran of delivering missiles to Yemen’s Houthi forces for use against the kingdom that he described as “direct military aggression”.
The United States also chimed in and said “there have been Iranian markings on those missiles.”
The Arab League will hold an extraordinary meeting on November 18 at the request of Saudi Arabia to discuss “violations” committed by Iran in the region, with Saudi Arabia rumored to mobilize fighter jets.
Houthi forces have threatened to attack oil tankers and warships of Saudi Arabia and its coalition in response to the Saudi-led naval blockade of Yemen.
Ex-Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri is still in Saudi Arabia, with his movements reportedly controlled by the Saudis.
An oil pipeline between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain exploded, with Bahrain accusing Iran of blowing it up. Israel is beyond itself with Iran and Hezbollah increasing their influence in the region and in Syria. The Israeli media claimed that the US and Russia have reached an agreement, which would push Iranian-backed forces from an area close to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. However, this likely an example of wishful thinking. Iran is reportedly building a permanent military base in Syria. Israel’s Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that Tel Aviv “will not allow the Shi‘ite axis to establish Syria as its forefront base” and threatened to bomb it. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tel Aviv has informed Moscow and Washington that Israeli forces will continue to take action in Syria according to its interests despite any ceasefire established there.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah accused Saudi Arabia of encouraging Israel to attack Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council, Mohsen Rezaei, said that the US, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Israel are planning a war against Lebanon.
Lacking a clear strategy for their involvement in the Middle East, Washington is forced to play second fiddle to its “allies”. Trump’s administration’s bold claims against the 2015 Iran nuclear accords and Iran in general only stir up the anti-Iranian block in the region.
The conflict is developing in its own way, with the conflicting sides immersed so deep that it proves more and more difficult for them to stop even if they wanted to. Now, the sides are finalizing the coalition, which may participate in the expected standoff and blame each other setting preconditions for a war.
Wow this sounds serious – watch out Iran – poor Iranians – but in the end Iran will be victorious – as always – and I hope Israel and Saudi Arabia – those two fake countries – will bite the dust –
Ah yes, the old ‘Iran will be victorious’ trope- man am I living in the world of 1984?
Iran has ***nothing*** good but a massive stockpile of mid distance ground-to-ground missiles, and an awful lot of cannon fodder troops. It’s air defenses are terrible (Putin refused to sell them the S400- they only got the obsolete S300) and fall to radar guided bombs overnight. Its armour is numerous but hopeless (see how quickly the similar armour of Ukraine fell to Russian irregulars). The Iranian airforce is a joke. The Iranian ‘drone’ force is amazing for a home-grown tech in such a short time, but in the greater scheme of things laughable.
Now true, in a ‘small’ war Iran wins. It easily beat Iraq, for instance, back in the day. But Iran doesn’t face a ‘fair’ small war.
The ‘best’ Iran could hope for is a Libya situation. A semi-covert war by the West, disguised as a civil war, with the West not being full-blooded as a result. But Tony Blair had rotted Libya from within, having befriended Gaddafi so Blair’s people could infiltrate Libyan society 3-5 years earlier. No-one has done this to Iran. The softest West agent in Iran is arrested and punished (there’s a British agent imprisoned in Iran currently in the British press). Iran has always been rightly paranoid about covert infiltration by the West since the ‘revolution’.
So Iran is marked down as a first-world target – and the intended war on Iran is a war of utter elimination. he zionists here psoing as anti-zionists hope you do not know the history of the Vietnam war or the Korea war. In both cases the zionists push the idea of ‘America’s loss’. But the relevant detail is just how much ruthless killing and destruction America used in both wars- in Korea America literally bombed every town and city flat and murdered as many Koreans as it could. No Hollywood film or TV show ever depicts the holocaust in Korea- ever ask yourself why?
The world has moved on since Vietnam anyway. America and the Deep State no longer care to ‘lose’. And no. Syria was not a ‘loss’- it was always calculated if Russia got fully involved, Syria would become firmly a part of Russia’s sphere of influence. What fool thinks the Deep State was going to war with Russia over Syria? But as we see today, Syria is used to ‘burn’ the reputation of Russia in the greater world, and that is very much a victory for the Deep State.
Iran does not have the protection of Russia- at all. Russia has provided Iran with exactly ***zero*** decent weapon systems or tech knowledge. Yet Putin boasts of having just given Turkey- the same regime that butchered the Russian pilots- the best air defense systems Russia can build. You do the math.
Putin has actually been working as hard as he can to mitigate the fallout from the Iran war on its neighbours. So all around Iran, Russia has provided nations the means to shoot down Iran’s (hopeless) jets and bombers. Like the owner and author of this blog, I have no problem taking about actual truth of everything Russian. Lionising Russia and refusing to ‘notice’ its faults is the old zionist trick of Team Stalin.
The real deal with the coming Iran war is that it is a war between Iran and the USA. There has never been a time, since the Iran ‘revolution’ where America has not publicly stated its intent to “destroy” ‘islamic’ Iran. And when America (or Israel) say something about a desired war, they always 100% mean to make the war happen by hook or by crook. And this is completely unlike other nations in history- for whom threats are just part of political theatre most of the time- and can be soon forgotten.
The game with Iran is to start the war somehow. What happens next is the usual zionist escalation- that’s a done deal. KSA ***could*** just attack Iran, like Israel could just attack Iran, but I hope most of you here, despite the efforts of the zionist propagandists that try to muddy the waters, get why such an option is still very problematic for the Deep State.
Iran is wily- the persians always have been. They know the big risks. After all the zionists here hope you know nothing of history- and are therefore unaware of the mongol genocide in Persia long ago that the Iranians have never forgotten. And, of course, most of the powerful so-called ‘jewish’ power blocs today are in reality mongol in origin. The real jews from the Middle East mostly faded away long time ago.
But Iran knows that there would have been no possible tactic that could have prevented the mongol hordes from murdering most of the population of ancient Iran once the mongols decided to attack.
So those who are here today telling you Iran will survive an attack by the ‘new’ mongols are very purposely lying to you. Iran has weapons to dissuade regional powers from beginning a process that the new mongols can leverage into a full war. But once that strategy fails, Iran knows it can only hope to go down with a sword in its hand.
Today Lebanon, that Israel stated was to be its next target 3 years back, is the new ‘great white hope’ of the zionsists and the Deep State. It’s the ‘theory of entanglement’- where Iran is entangled with hezbollah (actually a laughable lie) so a strike on hezbollah will somehow bring Iran into play.
But this is ‘bottom up’ analysis- the nonsense zionists try to get you to obssess about. Top down is the simple ***fact*** that one way or another, the Deep State is going to war with Iran- and that the Deep State will use the small nuclear warheads that the zionists tell you don’t exist (hoping you are that scientifically illiterate) to destroy complexes all across Iran.
The First Gulf War upgraded warfare to the mass use of ‘camera guided’ bombs- and videos transmitted by those bombs blitzed every news channel across the West at that time. The Deep State wants and needs a similar upgrade to the lighter, bigger bang, nuclear explosive missiles. Anyone who studies the current war coverage sees how the USA and Russia are now highly limited by their use of conventional chemical explosives. Both are frequently hitting difficult and/or hardened ground targets that chemical explosives struggle to destroy to the desired degree. There is a terrible pressure to go nuclear in the inner working of the US military- a change Russia would happily follow- as is the case with all advances in war fighting.
Iran’s targets are a pain-in-the-backside for conventional payloads. And so called cruise missiles are way too expensive and on the verge of falling to electronic counter measures.
The Deep State has been wanting to go nuclear, well since the Korea war actually. That it hasn’t yet is a miracle that won’t last.
Tony Blair’s authorisation of the use of depleted uranium was a first soft step to going nuclear. Depleted uranium is now used at the drop of a hat (ask the Serbs). Once the small nuclear warheads are first used, the zionists will blitz everywhere telling the sheeple that nuclear reactions are ‘natural’ and only nutcases draw a distinction between energy released by exothermic chemical reactions, and those by nuclear reactions.

Twilight, you look like a troll to me honestly. All the mumbo jumbo of your comments sounds like a copy paste remix (but pessimistic) of all the things wrote in this blog (with the tony blair dark lord avatar).
Always seeing the bad, always playing down saker analysis (oh yeah your are the realist we live in fantasy) Seriously if you want to help analyse a situation, you just dont drop pessimistic bull to “help us wake up” but do a real analysis, not all that mumbo jumbo you have ourselves used to. You look like a troll to me, if you are not please consider my apologizes, but i still consider your lengthy comments more like a way to make you feel superior.
I was toying with the notion that twilight is a machine-learning bot, programmed to stir up and fragment as many perspectives as possible.
No sign of human life there that I can spot, so far.
Prove us wrong, twilight, old boy?
If it cant give us a human response, then its preety much a 3 letter agency BOT
AI text generating programs have gotten rather sophisticated. One sets the desired parameters, inserts a few relevant terms for the program to base the text around and voila, the program creates a piece of writing. All the operator needs to do then is c-n-p the AI generated material onto his chosen target site. No need any more to laboriously type out long winded spam, the computer program generates it for with a few simple clicks. With such a tool, one person can spam many sites in a short time.
Difference is that nothing twilight writes sounds like spam – it just seems you may not like the opinion offered.

Perhaps, perhaps not we like or don’t like what he posts. You will notice he did not reply to my request for verified source of the ‘Russian irregulars’. His posts are very long and convoluted and meander well off topic. Spam comes in many forms and it seems that one of the more popular forms of late is several long posts that go off subject and tent to discourage others from posting. Perhaps in unhappy truth but truth nonetheless.
“You will notice he did not reply to my request for verified source of the ‘Russian irregulars’.”
I can’t blame him/her for that.
You have asked for source before:

I think we have a miscommunication on geography. My reply to Twilight involved his statement about ‘Russian irregulars’ in Novorossiya, not Syria or Viet Nam. No one in the last well over three years has provided certifiable proof of ‘Russian Irregulars’ involved in that conflict. Now, that leads us to ‘what is an irregular’. Westerners almost always mean actual Russian troops serving more or less out of sight. In this AO, the term ‘irregulars’ is not used, the catchall term is ‘volunteers’. In that respect, yes, hundreds of volunteers from Russia are serving up there, just as hundreds of volunteers from other countries are serving on both sides of that mess. Just think, anyone from Krimu or Sevastopol is Russian since March 2014. How many do you think are serving up there from those two regions? But, not a one that I know who has gone up there is in service with Russian Armed Forces, either enlisted or under contract, at the time of their decision to go up there and fight.
I was not given the information ‘on a plate’. Show me a certifiable photo of serving Russian troops identifiable as to date, time and location, otherwise, it’s just conjecture.

We have zero miscommunication other than what I see as your obfuscation.
You previously requested (in the link provided) the source to this specific comment by “R” (who is not myself):
“In Vietnam Russia just promised USA to help to expel Iranian forces from the south of Syria, because these forces are seen as a treat to Israel and Jordan. What would be your comment on this. Thanks.
The following day, you were provided the answer on a plate – period.
Rather than “meander off topic” twilight weaves a very plausible tapestry – better than most I read here (of course plausibility doesn’t mean the comment will become true, but we are all adults, right).
If the posts are, as you claim, “very long and convoluted” presumably, unless one found the content interesting, the reader would stop reading but why do you imagine that could “tend to stop others from posting”?
Perhaps that could be the result for those with a short attention time but there are plenty of long posts on this blog which many enjoy.
Your comment seems to me to have purpose to discredit twilight (not because it is convoluted but because it’s content affronts your opinion) and perhaps to influence the moderators here to have them make twilight’s comment never see the light of day.
Twilight’s comment was specifically about Novorossiya, what used to be Ukraine, and concerned specifically thus:
“see how quickly the similar armour of Ukraine fell to Russian irregulars”
I don’t see how my request for specific verification of Russan ‘irregulars’ taking out Ukrainian armor can be more clear. It has nothing to do with Syria or Irak beyond the comment of ‘similar armour’, ergo I again proffer that you have a misconception of the geographic area in which I asked him to verify the presence of ‘Russian irregulars’.
Let me make it easier for you. Simply go to Rostov na Danu, go west on the E58, cross the border from Russia to Novorossiya, take a right at Novoasovsk and follow the signs to Donetsk City Proper. Or, you can take the M4 north from Rostov, pick up the E50 West and cross the borders at Dolzhxanski. Be prepared for security at any border crossing from Russia to Novorossiya, on both sides of the border. Look at a map and see where the E50 wends it’s way west. There’s lots of smaller roads and tracks that cross the border but for your own security I would recommend following one of the two main routes I suggested. Once you arrive in Novorossiya, understand that is the area of which I asked for verification.
“Twilight’s comment was specifically about Novorossiya”
I made clear that you had requested source from “R”. You got it. Perhaps twilight thinks you are not worth the effort .
Anon. Stop your personal attacks to other commenters. Any more of your comments will go to trash. Mod
Having twice retreated from Lebanon, and with disappointing results in its recent mock exercise for a third try, the Israeli army is in no condition to set conditions. The Saudi army — Israel’s only ally in the ME — is bankrupt from ISIS and a laughing stock in Yemen. I think your headline is misleading: we should watch the ventriloquist (Uncle $cam) not the puppets (little Izzy and his pet monkey Saud).
War on Lebanon?
Israel doesn’t dare do it (trauma from 2006 is still strong),
US doesn’t care to do it, and
Saudis can’t do it (they are already overstretched from domestic purge + state deficits + war with Yemen + stand-off with Qatar).
The two may be stupid enough to think it is now or never.
waiting for twilight to tell us how Israel got mini-nukes ready to hit Iran…
Funny how the usual suspects find the mass murder of millions of Humans “funny”- chuckle. And notice the very purposeful twisting of the truth in this comment- the suggestion that Israel has the ‘sophisticated’ nukes. The placing of false statements into the mouths of others is a standard trick- I (and every other informed person on the subject) have been warning about the use of ‘tactical’ nukes by ***America*** – so why would someone here choose to (very carefully) lie about them?
Reading 1984 again- the answer is not hard to find. It is depressing just how closely the agents of zionism stay to the playbook Orwell detailed there and in Animal Farm.
You were told Iran was not important- cos no-one was ever going to attack Iran. You wer told to take your eye off the ball, and keep that eye looking only at Syria, so you could have your “five minutes of hate” cheering the destruction of the enemy in that nation. Of course, since Putin, very late, is using enough military muscle to finish off the ISIS irregulars and others, any cheering by our side actually makes no difference to the result. But ***distraction*** us an essential tactic of those that are on the other side.
Iran came very close to war once before shortly after Blair’s invasion of Iraq. The ‘alternative’ left in the UK was blitzed by Peter Tatchel’s organised ‘gay’ movement with anti-Iranian propaganda. If you loved ‘gays’ you hate to ***hate*** ‘anti-gay’ Iran and want the UK government to begin the march to war. I lambasted these zionist propagandists wherever they were found pointing out the curious fact that they loved Saudi Arabia- the only target in the Middle East any true ‘gay’ movemebt would actually care about. And the necessary hypocrisy ruined this early attempt by Team Tony Blair. Iran was given many years of respite.
Iran was always the real target. Notive how hard certain people in this comment section try to deny this easily provable fact. Syria and Iraq and later Libya were solidly on the side of the West. Their ‘sacrifice’ puzzles analysts who see soft Deep State assets put to the sword. West friendly populations slaughtered. But smarter people see the Greater Israel and Greater Saudi Arabia projects progressed by these acts of aggressive war.
Did you know that in the circles of people like those who attack me here- the existence of nuclear weapons is called a ‘conspiracy theory’? They literally deny the existence of nukes, and claim they have always been ‘faked’. Hence the attempt to pretend Iran is not at immmediate risk from the West’s massive stockpile of tactical nuclear warheads. Zionist leaders understand the concept of ‘useful idiots’.
“And notice the very purposeful twisting of the truth in this comment…” and after that: “Did you know that in the circles of people like those who attack me here- the existence of nuclear weapons is called a ‘conspiracy theory’? They literally deny the existence of nukes, and claim they have always been ‘faked’.”
So your last paragraph is not “the very purposeful twisting of the truth”? Again fake info from your side.
This website is not about you, twilight. Less drama and recrimination, please.
Yes, and how US, France and UK are ready to hit Iran with cruise missiles. Remember, they practiced it night and day, in secret of course. And Putin is not going to do anything about it. So bad.
well this narrative is getting very boring…team chaos has not achieved syria getting wiped by ‘moderate’ head choppers so now a new scheme is being cooked up.The ‘barrel bomber of his own people’ is the only political leader with his head screwed on correctly ,every other in the MENA region are psychopaths spouting ‘we against them’ kool aid in kneeling to the money printing press controller the BIS.Syria is the only outcast printing its OWN money a clear and present danger to the fakemoney printing MATRIX.
shame that UN seems to want to ignore Syrias request for legal autonoy and sovereignty, does not listen to Syria saying uninvited countries must go, usa Defence Secretary today saying their troops will remain, and Israel still stating it will “defend” its interests within Syrian territory……………….what options are there for Syria regarding these “fait accompli”..?
You appear to have missed out one of the SoutFront videos posted here:

The missing one is entitlted “Russian Defense Ministry Released Fake Photos…”
You have posted on your blog the one before and the one after.
Best regards, Shyaku.
I was just going to ask the same thing. What is story with those images (allegedly taken from video game). Was RU DefMin trolled, was this active operation? Any thoughts are welcome
MI6 simply placed a ‘civilian worker’ agent into the PR organisation used by the Russian MOD. This person substituted the images provided by the Russian MOD with images found online by a standard AI pattern recognition algorithm (such an algorithm rates the visual closeness of images) so that ‘Bellingcat’ et al could immediately dismiss MOD claims as “the usual Russian Fake News”.
It was a clever trick, and a neat victory for MI6. Russia learnt the usual lesson- if it matters ensure vetted people do the job.
Britain pulled many such stunts against Nazi Germany during WW2.
And remember that worker at RT- the one who left in very public disgust when she discovered just how ‘biased’ and ‘Kremlin controlled’ RT really was? More MI6 at play- but that trick is far more difficult to pre-empt.
Mmmmmmm Russia MOD is a laughting stock right now.
I posted a Sputnik article on that last night, but the evening mod didn’t post it.
Russian MoD Checking Civilian Employee Over Mistakenly Attached Photos
“The statement that was posted along with photos reads that US forces refused to carry out airstrikes against Daesh (ISIS) terrorists who were retreating from the Syrian town of Abu Kamal and moving in a direction of the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The ministry explained that the US-led coalition had rejected an offer from the Russian forces command to conduct a joint operation to destroy the terrorists when they were on the eastern bank of the Euphrates river in Deir ez-Zor province.
“The US side categorically refused to carry out airstrikes against Daesh terrorists, claiming that the militants were ‘voluntarily surrendering’ and now fell under the provisions of the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War,” the statement reads.
Moreover, the document reads that the international alliance’s aircraft tried to impede the Russian Aerospace Forces planes acting in the region, in order “to ensure a safe exit of Daesh militants from Abu Kamal under the strikes of the government troops.”
Maybe this time the article will get posted?
I see a recipe for disaster here.
Besides all the Iran/Hezbollah pointed charges by the poisonous marriage of USA/Israel/Saudi Arabia, there is also a sudden ‘news’ influx claiming that about all terrorist groups in the ME are commanded by Iran.
A sudden disclosure of ‘documents’ found in the Pakistan whereabouts of bin Laden, suggesting strong bands with Iran (that’s already years ago, besides a lot of doubts about what happened there). Yeah right.
More ‘disclosures’ by the Israeli’s, suggesting that Jihad Islami and Hamas are under direct command of Hezbollah and Iran in the Gaza strip: https://www.debka.com/159853-2/
Though Debka is normally well informed, I have serious doubts in buying this. Years ago Hams and el Fatah were litterally smashing each others heads, and now they are supposed to be the poodle of Hezbollah? This smells like BS.
Besides a few other reasons (Rothschild central bank, pipelines for Sunni gas, breaking up the Shia crescent) the Syrian war (and I don’t consider that a ‘civil’ war as mentioned in the western MSM, nearly all insurgents are foreign mercenaries) was also meant to be the stepping stone to an attack on Iran, the next target. I suppose Lebanon is plan B in this.
A false flag can be expected, and a ‘Iraqi WMD’ like story is already on the stove.
All foreign powers that have invaded Lebanon eventually fled. Even the USA troops. In this respect there are some similarities with Afghanistan.
When our poisonous marriage wants to attack Iran (my guess it’s not an ‘if’ but more a ‘when’), then they have to attack Hezbollah as well. They are deep inlands, and their many rockets (I have read estimates ranging from 60000 to 120000, anyway a lot) will be stored deep underground, just like in Iran. I can imagine that you don’t just ‘bomb that away’.
I’m not a military expert (by far), but handling that will be extremely messy, ending up in something like Yemen (including blockades, bombing hospitals and medicine storages and the like).
Maybe they should have some talks with veterans that were there in the eighties. This won’t end well.
Storm in a paper bag. Exactly nothing will happen.
While the magician is captivating the minds of the audience with scary tales of this, that and the other, he has achieved his goal already – expanding and cementing MBS hold on power in Saudi Arabia – almost effortlessly. That is how it is done.
There is a video from yesterday of Nasrallah posted in the Cafe, in which he explains and reassures the Lebanese people that there will be no war against Lebanon at the present time. It’s convincing.
Yes of course, the Empire ***puppets*** in the British created KSA are really their own people- how could we have not seen this before. Next you’ll be telling me the ‘satraps’ in British colonial India had real power, and the British ‘feared’ their independence- dear lord.
Zionists and those that fall for zionist claptrap. If you don’t get it, please read 1984 again- it does a most wonderful job of explaining all this in a crystal clear form.
The problem with Bandar Bush et al- the ***old*** Saudi guard- was not that they were in any sense bad servants. But that they came from a Deep State era where the integrity of KSA was eternal. Now KSA has failed in the Syria project (recall how KSA spokesmen werre threatening Russia in Syria with ‘doom’ only a short while ago), KSA must make amends by throwing itself on its sword in order to craft a road to the Iran War on behalf of the Deep State.
When the Deep State dropped this bombshell a few months back, most of the current satraps in KSA rebelled – suggesting that much as they were loyal to the Deep State, they really didn’t see why KSA should engage in activity 100% certain to destroy KSA. So the Deep State found a new puppet, who has been running thru the old guard like a hot knife thru butter.
Lower elites in KSA have a chance to ‘upgrade’ by offering undying alliagiance to the new puppet. Sure these idiot elites hope and pray the war plans never go ahead- but this is a gamble they think they have to take. Existing higher elites that escape the first stage of purges have a chance to try to swap sides. The usual way in which an Empire organised palace coup in one of its posessions plays out.
Israel already has a psychopathic racist warmonger in charge. A ‘weak’ man even for a jewish leader, but a ‘weak’ man prepared to be bloody to an infinite degree if the USA stands behind him. KSA is being brought into alignment with Israel (for the first time ever).
It is the zionist press- especially the BBC- who sells the lie of ‘nothing to see here’ about KSA- and sets the chattering classes with their nonsense about “storms in a paper bag” caused by a “reformer” prince who only wants to move KSA into the modern world. But the BBC propaganda works, as seen by so many comments in this forum and others.
Meanwhile the British RAF has its biggest air facility in its entire history based in KSA- and from there British pilots in British jets continue the air war against Yemen. But hey the BBC calls these strikes ‘saudi’ and the BBC never lies, does it? The RAF facility in KSA is obviously just another ‘strom in a paper bag’- the British having a laff.
Why are so many on our side so self-deluding. I saw the exact same thing before the “never going to happen” Blair invasion of Iraq, where the usual suspects told us day and night that Saddam had such powerful ground forces, the West would have to bomb Iraq continuously for a year before even considering a ground campaign. Yet there wasn’t even one day of bombing before the ground forces went in.
Those like myself who pointed out the massive invasion force Blair had established were called ‘liars’. The BBC said a ground invasion would be far far far too risky- so obviously that was ‘true’.
And by the way when I don’t repeat the talking points of the BBC here, the usual suspects deride the message- bit of a hint don’t you think?
PS why does anyone get to claim the continued existence of KSA matters? What is the jewish cult called wahhabism in the greater scheme of things. It’s been useful to the Deep State since the 1950s for sure. But long term? And who here can claim the greater Saudi Arabia project is still useful now Russia has stepped into Syria and has every incentive to help crush ground level islamic terror organisations? Greater SA required these ground level islamic thugs to terrorise ordianry innocent muslim communities and ‘convert’ them. But now the terrorists are an endangered species- only able to strike thru extreme acts of cowardice. They can no longer spread Saudi influence.
So the regional project has changed- which Southfront has noticed but not half the people in this forum. KSA is now expendable. Indeed its only use to the Empire is in being expended in order to give cause for the desired Iran War. And by sacrificing KSA they can avoid the risk of sacrificing Israel- which for those in real power is win-win.
Six Russian long-range bombers strike ISIS targets in southeast Syria – military
“Six Russian long-range bombers have carried out airstrikes targeting ISIS terrorist positions in an area located close to the recently liberated Syrian city of Abu Kamal in the southeast of the country, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The strikes destroyed Islamic State (IS, former ISIS/ISIL) hideouts and military equipment in the area, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday. The TU-22m3 bombers took off from an airfield in Russia and then flew over the territories of Iran and Iraq to carry out teh strikes, it added.
As the bombers entered Syrian airspace, they were joined by Su-30SM fighter jets based at Khmeimim Airbase in western Syria, which provided cover for the attack group, the ministry said. It added that the bombers successfully “hit all the designated targets” and returned to Russia.”
There’s another (unusual) way of looking at this.
Hezbollah is demonised because of its ‘military’ capability. Yet it offers little more power than the combined might of ‘arms-bearing’ citizens in those States of the USA that understand why the Constitution gave citizens that right. But what is wrong with the right to self-defense. Why is this not even a conceptual right in so many first world nations (including the ‘advanced’ states of America like NY)?
Britain gave the world the true right that is Freedom of Conscience. Jews and muslim and most christian leaders say people are ***born*** jews, muslims and christians and are therefore ‘owned’ by their organised religions for life. Only in anglo-saxon nations like America, Canada, Australia, the UK and NZ is the right really offered. Religious ‘freedom’ even in Germany or Russia is limited to state approved ‘religions’.
But when it comes to the right of self-defense, things reverse. Britain was the first first-world nation to disarm its population. Now it is the most serious criminal offence in the UK to even carry an object only useful and designed for self defense. No pepper sprays, or extendible batons. On the streets of Britain you must be literally naked to the desires of any thug. And a thug who attacks an innocent civilian will get a lower prison sentence than a citizen caught carrying an object only designed for self defence.
Think about that. A thug who batters a person on the street and puts them in hospital with serious injuries has less than a 10% chance of going to prison if caught. But if you are stopped and found to have in your posession a pepper spray, it is 100% certain you will go to prison. Life in Britain today.
Hezbollah came about because of a recent holocaust the USA and Israel carried out against the once peaceful lovely nation of Lebanon. Hezbollah witnessed the exploitation of a manufactured sectarian divide, and recognised getting all the people to join together in pre-emptive defense was hopeless cos of ‘divide-and-conquer’ tactics used by the Deep State. So Hezbollah is happily of one creed in order to ensure its effectiveness. But it exists to protect ***all*** the people of Lebanon against the infinitely evil zionist blocs that empower Israel and control the USA.
But just as the BBC (who repeat its talking points about Saudi Arabia) tells its viewers that a Brit who carries any means of defense is a ‘monster’- the BBC states that hezbollahs very ability to protect the people of Lebanon effectively is reason enough for it to be targeted and destroyed. This is the ***meme*** that the person with a ‘sword’ who is ***not*** an official uniformed enforcer, is de facto ‘evil’.
The zionists that run the BBC et al hope you are too thick to notice that all the ‘important’ people are allowed armed bodyguards. Some animals are just more equal than others.
So the theme of anti-hezbollah propaganda is that the very ability of hezbollah to defend against unprovoked enemy action is the very reason hezbollah must be taken out. And to the hard of thinking, especially young people educated since Blair first came to power, this makes ‘sense’.
But it gets worse. We know America had it in for Libya. Likewise we know America has it in for Iran. But few here know America also has it in for hezbollah. The british zionist propagandist who writes the neo-nazi Jack Reacher novels- Lee Childs- has his brutish ‘hero’ a ‘survivor’ of the dastardly ‘hezbollah’ attack against the American Barracks in Lebanon- a strike that killed hundreds of uniformed US butchers who were present assiting Israel’s genocide at the time. America has never forgotten that humilitaion, and although it slaughtered tens of thousands of innocent civilians in revenge at the time, has always sworn revenge.
‘Revenge’ in this case means the US military assisting Israel and KSA, with barely covert men and equipment, to exterminate every trace of hezbollah. Oh, for sure, this would result in a myriad of islamic terror groups emerging like in Iraq and Libya and Syria today. But on the ground ‘terrorists’ are not the enemy of the US army- the organised resistance is.
French, British, German, Canadian, Australian etc etc politicians are currently screaming “how dare the world allow hezbollah to be armed- armed citizens of any nature are ***bad***- mmkay”.
The British Deep State was so super advanced, it understood that restricting citizens to ‘official’ religions was utterly counter-productive. But allowing citizens any means of ‘violent’ response must be ended.
In 1984, the idea of ‘Newspeak’ is that once fully implemented and eventually the only language known by citizens, citizens would be unable to form ideas outside of those expressable in Newspeak (which works as a story device- but is actually conceptually wrong under Godel’s Incompleteness theorem- but in fairness Orwell wasn’t a mathematician). In Tony Blair’s real world of ‘1984’ it is the idea of real citizen power that becomes inconceivable – citizens can think but cannot even comprehend the idea of acting, when the state owns all the means of violence.
Real thinkers notice the insane amounts of preparation for war in the Middle East, even at the cost of KSA’s future. Southfront is slow, but has finally got the message too. Many in this forum have yet to do so.
Hezbollah is ‘strong’ in the sense that it could easily stand up against the combined might of Israel and KSA in a ***fair fight***. But the days of the Deep State needing the fig leaf of appearing to fight fair are long gone. Trumpy didn’t get to blat ISIS, for obvious reasons. But Trumpy is drooling at the prospect of doing to hezbollah what Russia did to ISIS in Syria.
Lebanon is currently protected by old Empire ties- some British, some French. And these ties only work cos Lebanon is a fully innocent party. But innocence isn’t worth a damn when the world goes crazy – ask the victims of WW1 and WW2.
Hezbollah is fully demonised in the USA, where the jews that control ordinary American society had hezbollah defined a a ‘terrorist’ group years ago. It fairs a little better in mainland Europe. Britain has always been on the fence. But remember, Libya was utterly destroyed ***after*** it surrended to the West 100%,and joined America’s “war on terror”. Logic- the ‘logic’ the BBC tells you to think about- plays no part.
If you are out late at night and you witness a rapist obviously stalk a lone woman, do you say to yourself “that woman doesn’t deserve to be raped, so I can turn away and ignore the situation knowing the rape cannot happen”. That would be the stupidest argument in the world. Yet the zionist agents here in this forum tell you to apply the same non-logic to lebanon and Iran. Lebanon and Iran ‘cannot’ fall if they don’t ‘deserve’ to fall. And all the BBC talking points push the same non-logic.
No ‘real’ reason will lie behind the coming war on Lebanon and then Iran. So you cannot even talk about the ‘reason’ in any sane sensible way. Oh, there is a reason- the demonic Deep State reason that is the ***same*** reason the rapist chooses his victim then strikes. But will you prevent a rapist by dribbling on about why a rapist rapes?
The time to stop a rapist is when a rapist makes and executes plans to rape. The Deep State is clearly making its preparations to ‘rape’ Lebanon and Iran. Massive military exercises in Israel (blue flag) in cooperation with India and Europe’s catholic bloc. All anti-war elites purged in KSA. Trumpy, May and Merkel offering unprecedented support for Israel and KSA. Putin selling neighbours of Iran the best air defense systems money can buy. New military bases for the forces of the West build all across the Middle East. Britain relocating the majority of its RAF into KSA. Other european nations doing the same with airbases in locations like Jordan.
Iran’s factories are running at full tilt making the WW2 class weapons of war. Good stuff too if Iran was going to fight the British or Americans as they were before the first nuclear bomb was built. Sadly the best Iran can do might destroy expendable KSA but that’s about it.
However, Iran is not entangled with hezbollah, and intends to sit on its hands when the attack starts on Lebanon- just as it always does when the jews of Israel start mass murdering muslims. Israel will try to provoke Iran but won’t succeed. Iran hopes KSA will sate itself impotently by murdering muslims that were once its soft allies in Lebanon.
But the Deep State plan is far dirtier. The clue is the claim Iran should not be helping arm the victims of KSA or Israel- as with the missile that hit KSA in retalitaion for the KSA (really the UK) holocaust in Yemen. Hezbollah missiles will be called ‘iranian’ missiles at the BBC. Once hezbollah starts to strike Israel and KSA in defense, Trumpy will declare the American duty to strike Iranian conduits of these missiles. At first these Iranian targets will be outside of Iran proper, but shortly afterwards Trumpy will hit what he calls Iranian missile transport hubs and manufacturing facilities in Iran itself.
We have an inkling of just how bad this will be, with the most recent use of a nuclear strike by the British and Americans- namely the nuclear warhead that destroyed the major military facility on the outskirts of Yemen’s capital. The nature of the insanely massive explosion was blamed on ‘secondary explosions’ of ‘missiles’ stored at the facility by zionist trolls like the one that loves to copypasta here- but it was clearly a nuclear strike- and ***no*** you cannot tell by looking for a ‘mushroom’ cloud as if nuke tech was still back at the 1940s. A nuclear warhead was used because the facility was the most hardened in Yemen, contained the deep underground bunkers for use of the Yemen government, and was the base for the main elite guard. Now Human casualties were low- but the facility was taken off the board leaving the capital completely defenseless.
By the way, the strike that murdered so many leading Yeminis was the double-tap the RAF (british) jets carried out against a massive funeral celebration after MI6 had arranged the murder of a leading ‘rebel’. That came later.
The British methods in Yemen (laughably disguised as Saudi) are safe practice for the tactics to be used in Iran on a massively greater scale. The testing of the nuclear strike (the video is on Youtube and elsewhere) was most significant- a convincer to get the US military ready to wipe out all major Iranian complexes using similar nuclear warheads.
Remember how the BBC says it is the greatest crime for ‘sub-Human’ Iranians to be allowed to research, build and own nukes- the same BBC that says Britain must own as many nukes as possible? This meme that only the ‘chosen’ people may bear arms. And that if the ‘wrong’ people try to possess arms for ***any*** reason, including self-defense agaisnt a threatening enemy with a long track record of illegal aggressive warfare, then that very act is just cause alone to destoy those people.
Jewish nukes good, persian nukes bad. Can it get any more “in your face” racist than that? From an elite that tells its people it ***hates*** racism. Is it any surprise some here attack me for being dangerously “off message”. The ‘copypasta’ crew must do everything in their power to hide this unexplainable hypocrisy- because the infinitely evil sentiment “jewish nukes good, persian nukes bad” is promoted by almost every (fake) leader of the official left- including Corbyn of the UK Labour party. While Merkel was sending an old lady to prison for ‘denying’ the ‘holocaust’ (obviously not all those German holocausts of ‘black’ people in Africa that most German jews at the time so enthusiastically supported- but the only holocaust that apparently matters), she was gifting subs to Israel purpose built to carry the jewish nukes.
So Germany hates nukes so much, it ensures the worst racist state on the planet is able to holocaust far more innocent Humans with their nukes built for this purpose than the German forces helped murder in WW2. Something is wrong with this picture, but the ‘copypasta’ crew won’t highlight this.
The same team that did 911 gifted Israel with its first parcels of Plutonium back in the early 1960s, and ensured Israel received (for free) a fleet of state-of-the-art submarines to carry its nukes and deliver them on major population centres across the palnet. The same team invented the BBC- controls the US war machine- and created all the new islamic terror groups like ISIS. The same team has ***promised*** first to war on Iran, and then Russia.
You cannot negotiate with this team. You cannot compromise. You cannot appeal to a sense of morality or Humanity. And the agents of this team are in every forum that talks about the actions and intentions of this team. Yes your enemy is terrible and awful- in every sense the devil you tried to convince yourself could not be.
And the devil whispers in your ear “do not fear me- I come not for you. The rumours of my true nature have been so exagerated by those that seek to blame everything bad on me. And never listen to those false prophets who claim to tell you about my greater plans for Humanity. Great evil is but the random nature of man- there is no plan even when it seems clear that there must be. Who but the devil would know better. Power is brutal by its very nature- join us and then you can help to make the expression of power a little nicer, for you only want the right things for your fellow man, and only I can help you make this happen.
By the way, only the devil’s true agents should be allowed to bear arms. So help me identify ***our*** mutual enemies and punish them when they dare break our law, and arm themselves.”
Hezbollah has broken the devil’s law and so has Iran. And America gave into the devil right at the beginning.
“You’ve got to be crazy, gotta have a real need…” I think Twilight is right. They really are crazy and they definitely have a real need.
Pink Floyd: Dogs
Dear twilight, thank you for spending the time to share your insights.
The EU recently voted to impose arms control on Venezuela too.
Those who oppose the empire have no right to self-defense. No right to sovereignty. No right to economic activities. No right to eat even. Yemen is the show the empire is making to warn the world not to resist. Syria’s troubles will continue and the US is there to stay. The British UN representative made it clear: Syria is alive now is mainly due to Russia-Putin, but not for long. Once Putin is gone and lapses back into weak and corrupt clowns, they will have their revenge. Time is on the empire’s side.
I agree Iran is not as strong as it portrays. And somewhere in me warns me also not to underestimate the empire and its plans. Russia and China seems to be buying time to better prepare for the showdown. That makes sense only if the empire is in actual decline and will continue to decline. But things don’t always go according to “plan”. BRICS didn’t go anywhere, did it? Ukraine still didn’t collapse. West’s sanctions on NK don’t mean anything, the empire wants Russia’s and China’s sanctions to hurt NK in the hopes that one day, NK will break rank with China and become a failed state which can be destroyed and plundered. Time can be on the empire’s side too.
Something is rotten in this world, it stinks and I don’t know what that fundamental rottenness is. Orwell’s 1984 is a good story about that rottenness. Will visit it soon.
I just read interesting article at ICH/Moon of Alabama. Here is the link – http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/48220.htm
According to MoonOfAlabama the Saudis have agreed to sell out Palestine in exchange of Israeli/US help with Iran. Take an eye on it, normally MoonOfAlabama place out good articles with high degree of possibility.
That was interesting.
The Duran s also covering this and the various possible alliances and outcomes extensively:
Saudi Arabia Regional and Global Linkages
“Saudi Arabia has long established de facto linkages with Israel, despite their superficial religious differences, based on their intense racist tribalism and common opposition to independent Iran and secular, nationalist Arab states, like Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, and popular liberation movements in the Middle East.
The Saudis signs off on covert operations with Israel, a case of mutual manipulation based on their common enmity to Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas and Yemen. This has resulted in a strange marriage of Saudi Wahhabis, Wall Street Zionists and fanatical Israeli militarists.
MBS’s plan to seize power was first cleared with the US following a mid-year meeting with President Trump. The impending purge was signed off with a two billion dollar oil deal between Washington and Riyadh.
Saudi regional war maneuvers and the ongoing domestic coup provoke fear of greater regional instability among investors. MBS’s anti-Iranian rhetoric and wild threats to attack Teheran may have excited Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his new White House poodle, US President Donald Trump, but this has not impressed the Generals in Trump’s Cabinet or the Wall Street bankers.
At present, MBS has ‘won over’ the deposed and highly unpopular former ruler of Yemen, Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi. His powers of persuasion have worked their magic on the elusive or ‘self-exiled’ former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri and the geographically befuddled American President Trump. MBS hires the most senior ex-pat executives from the US and UK to run the oil sell off. He intends to market himself as a ‘modernizing despot’ – at least until the next princely intrigue boots him from power. Meanwhile he settles back as a ‘modern’ Middle East potentate, protected by tribal clans, despised by his people, privately ridiculed by his overseas flatterers and expertly ‘serviced’ by expats-on-the-make. No doubt he would be humored by any clown occupying the US White House.
Saudi Arabia and Israel play the key roles in anchoring the ‘arc of reaction and terror’ in the Middle East. Both foment wars, finance terrorism and spread ethno-religious fragmentation leading to millions of refugees.
Saudi Arabia’s ‘Crown Prince MBS’ competes with Israel’s Netanyahu in concocting the most outrageous warmongering slander against Iran, preparing the world for global conflagration.
MBS is actively serving the Israelis by fomenting sectarian divisions in Lebanon to provide Israel with an excuse to attack Hezbollah and millions of Lebanese civilians. MBS claims that a single missile from Yemen that hit the Riyadh airport was a full declaration of war by Teheran . . . as if the Saudis’ starvation blockade and daily bombing of Yemeni cities would not warrant any counter-attack.
The war fever in Riyadh is a cover for MBS’s political impotence and a ‘clever ploy’ to distract from the infantile game of rotating princes and clan intrigues.
MBS, for all his modernizing clichés and carefully groomed public relations persona, circulated by the corrupt Western media, is still the aspiring head of a tribal army, dependent on a fragile alliance with unreliable allies: The Egyptian high command and troops despise the bloated Saudis; Bahrain’s ruler is propped up by Saudi mercenary forces; the Saudi masses are held in check by tribal warlords and their torturers; and the imported workforce and armies of foreign domestic servants are brutalized, raped and cheated. Hardly an inspiring leader of Saudi Arabia’s emergence from the Middle Ages.
The Crown Prince is sitting on a powder keg threatening to shatter the political alignments in the Middle East and the global financial and oil markets. Saudi Arabia is a fragile regime with a long and scrawny reach. The current rulers imagine their borrowed power and palace intrigues can flourish on such rotten foundations and with a despised oligarchy.
The first missile that MBS dares to direct at Teheran will mark the downfall of the House of Sand. The entire Middle East and global markets will plunge into a profound crisis. Oil prices will soar, stock markets will crash and Israel will go to war against Hezbollah. Donald Trump will send US forces to confront with the well-armed and highly patriotic Iranians on their soil. Iraq and Syria will confront the US regional puppets, the Kurds. China, Russia and India wait to sign on huge oil deals. The US fracking industry will celebrate as oil prices set new highs.
Saudi Princes will flee to Europe, leaving hundreds of thousands of servants in the lurch. Perhaps they will have to prepare their own coffee! Trump will issue a ‘Tweet to Action to All Americans’ – Marines to the oil wells! Makes America Great Again on the tired backs of our GIs! AIPAC will secure a unanimous vote in the American Congress declaring that Saudi Arabia’s oil fields are really part of the Greater Israel.
With historic high oil prices, Venezuela will recover, pay its debts, finance its social agenda, re-open its schools and clinics and re-elect a socialist president.
A consortium of western investors will take over, after the Saudis have folded their tents and fled to Central London, and flood the oil markets. But that is a long-term scenario…or is it?”
‘will the real vot tak please stand up’ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJO5HU_7_1w)
that article reads like pure bs/fear mongering… so much bs I won’t even get into detail
It’s all very simple:
MBS is like Erdogan now, trying to move SA away from the Empire to the Eastern Alliance
(China/Russia/SilkRoad). MBS agreeing to sell oil in Chinese Yuan. Everything else is noise.
Both Ergodan and MBS have done sh!t in the past, but at least they are moving in the right
And remember to discern between words (MBS accusing Iran for whatever) and
actions (MBS removing Hariri so that the pro-Empire Saudis like Bandar Bush etc can’t start
a war in Lebanon).
Actually, RATM, it is a fairly decent analysis given how little is known about what is going on in saudi arabia. There seems to be two basic schools of thought about this.
1. The saudi purge is being orchestrated by israeloamerica with the goal eventually to sick them on Iran.
2. The purge is by saudis interested in having a more independent, non-aligned country, perhaps something like Indian or Turkish foreign relations. Or maybe Saudi is moving towards an Asian alignment. The purge in these cases to remove western loyal elements.
I find the reasoning behind both these theoretical scenarios both a possibility, so have posted articles promoting both. Till more information is known, I’m taking a wait and see view.
