What is the next move, now that the “diplomatic” meetings are over?
A great Jim Jarmusch Tom Waits flick that stands some of the southern US prison break movies on their heads.
Ending with a fantasy interlude of the New Taliban Victory Occupation Force visiting our California valley, feeding us and dancing all night before …
Russia and the USA/ NATO (Israel)
As the US has formally rejected Putin’s recommendation – Putin has no choice and or alternative to continue with what is conceived as a threat.
I dont think ww3 is around the corner. But we are getting closer.
As The Saker said Putin is both predictable and unpredictable.
The predicable part: talks straight about Russias concerns and red line.
Unpredictable: the way to respond, it seams to me that the response always takes the west by surprise.
Think intervention Syria and returning Crimea.
About thr counter threats:
Maybe this time: russia will form a formal alliance with China. Integration in the csto?
Or russia will deploy missiles in venezuala?
I dont know, this is the unpredictable part…. but it will sure hurt the west. Whose foreign policy today is about shooting itself in the foot.
Why, we must ask ourselves would we wish to have ‘elite leadership’ that are efficient, effective, competent or, our ‘economists’ honest, our bureaucrats hard working, lucid, credible, our teachers even close to the truth, etc., when all those that make up our society are delusional and biased to the dishonest through lying and theft, i.e. proto-human. The answer is that the system / process works for evolution, which means the end of humanity would quickly arrive if some were objectively rational and best, or at least, we would execute/murder/suicide them all.
Better to live in delusion than to be challenged by the truth.
“Many people would rather die than think; in fact, most do.” – Bertrand Russell
Any ideas what just happened in Bulgaria with the supposed attempt to storm the parliament building by anti-Green pass protesters? Does not look like a color revolution to me but who knows. I would love to read some comments from people in eastern Europe how the situation is there since western European alternative media don’t really talk about the many countries between Russia and the ‘West’. I think the memory of people in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, etc. of the previous times of suppression must be much fresher than the historical consciousness of the pampered and now old post war generation in Western Europe. Therefore Eastern Europe will likely behave much differently. Happy New Year to all of you great people!
Two weeks from now will mark one year from the passing of our dear friend, ioan. This poem is in his honour, and also for all ‘true lovers and lovers of truth’, alike. As I have a mountain to scale of imposing proportions, I will be absent for awhile, but hope to see you all a little down the track… In Spirit, D.
There Is No Truth But Love
There is no truth but love,
As far as I can see;
Just ask the mourning dove
Why it sings for free?
Its heart on full display,
The lover does implore
The beloved night and day.
There is no truth but love,
The Maker did decree;
Just ask the suns and moons,
How they came to be?
They hang up in the sky
Above this world of clay,
That creatures great and small
May see and find their way.
There is no truth but love,
No recurring leitmotif;
Just ask the palsied hand
In the grip of disbelief.
No power to stay the storm,
Or the scourge of human grief,
No magic wand or pill
That the soul may find relief.
There is no truth but love,
Though some may disagree;
Just ask the dinosaur
Far mightier than thee.
Just ask the wayward son,
Or perhaps the young and strong,
When all is said and done,
They’ll tell you they were wrong…
There is no truth but love,
Its useless to resist.
Just ask the Lord above
Why the Soul exists?
Look into your heart
And see what you will find…
And if you’re still unsure,
There’s time to change your mind.
Thank you Dimitar.
I will grant you a limited time absence pass. But you are obliged to return!
The seas are getting rough, and the crews are about to walk the plank.
All hand on deck, this could be a bumpy ride.
I am currently below deck in a berth navigating a long winter reading of War and Peace and would hate to be disturbed…. caught the BBC weather forecast for the rest of the month, no turbulence expected, the seas roll is steady and all looking good from my porthole. Chilly though, I suggest the leaving of plank walks until spring.
Time waits for no one, you snooze, you loose.
A life without love is a waste.
‘Should I look for spiritual love,
or material, or physical love?’,
don’t ask yourself this question. Discrimination leads to discrimination.
Love doesn’t need any name,
category or definition.
Love is a world itself.
Either you are in, at the center…
either you are out, yearning.”
— Shams Tabrizi
Thank you to all.
Still a few days till I begin ‘my climb’, so… to Whitey, Aye, Aye, mi hearty!
To Alabama, I am officially ‘ordering’ you to step up your verse, in ‘my absence’, lol. Your sense of humour is a Godsend.
To Sudhi, thank you for the lines from Shams. Can I ask where you’ve sourced these, Sudhi?
Love, the L is large and lovely
Lowly too for loves humility
Light because it is a fire
Burning through even desire.
Life for love is all life is
Without it nothing, Nothing Is.
O is for its omnipresence
Even in your non acquiescence
Omni this and omni that
Love truly is an omni cat.
V is victory, sublime
Not beauty but a venous clime
Where blood cries out
And is victorious
Even in Our Lords delorious way.
E is even handed, heart
Its balance light as feathers art
Everything is love sustained
Without it we are naught but stained.
Very nice, Janice, thank you. You are a natural poet and it’s
enjoyable to see you come up with ‘fresh takes’ time and again.
mind and hand
Dear Dimitar, I had found found the meaningful words by Shams Tabrizi in an old article. I’m sorry to be unable to find the link now.
“Climb every mountain
Search high and low
Follow every byway
Every path you know
Climb every mountain
Ford every stream
Follow every rainbow
Till you find your dream”
– Climb Ev’ry Mountain
Richard Rodgers – “The Sound of Music”
No problem, Sudhi.
I will proceed with some sayings attributed to Shams as presented in “Soul Fury”,
by Coleman Barks, who has been instrumental in bringing Rumi to a wider audience
world-wide. While we have countless versions/translations of Rumi’s words, we
have very little directly attributed to Shams. His utterances are so original, so
unpredictable, and enigmatic that they bear contemplating upon.
So, for those interested, here are some sayings attributed to Shams of Tabriz;
*Let me say this clearly: Hypocrisy makes you ecstatic,
drunken with the ‘presence’ you feel.
Truth makes you sad, discouraged, empty.
I said recently to one man, “You are just amazing.
There is no one like you in this generation.”
He took my hand, “I have misjudged you.” You see,
last year I was complimentary,
and he became my enemy. It’s very odd. To live
congenially with others,
you must be something you are not. Live then
if you want to get along with others. When you start
what is really in your heart, you have to go to the
mountains or the desert.
There is a way to stay in community if you try
to say the truth.
* I have said that these words of mine are half hypocrisy.
If I were to say the full truth, everybody in this
community would want to kill me.
You could not do it, though. Your aggression would
point back on yourselves.
Try it and see.
*When you are connected by friendship
to a great teacher,
you will have a permanent privacy about you.
Without actually sitting alone,
you will still be in a constant inward place.
* This Christian, I could listen to him talk all day.
I could listen for a hundred days and not get bored.
When someone gets boring and quarrelsome,
I set fire to his ego. That’s the way to go deeper
with anyone. Burn the ego, what he identifies with.
Tear those buildings down! Let something better begin.
That Christian knows so many sciences,
but nothing of his true value.
He works on something and imagines he brings that
value into being.
He’s working at the wrong place. He says, ‘Refresh me
with the fragrance
of the garden’, which is good, what we say while cleaning
in morning ablutions. He says it while cleaning his butt.
Right prayer, wrong hole.
* There is a wool sack and a cotton sack and a pearl.
The wool sack says to the pearl,
“I am much larger than the cotton sack.”
There is also a madman and a rational man.
The pearl says,”Let’s ask the madman.”
The madman has heard that there ‘is’ a pearl. He says,
“Even if you fill both sacks with gold,
you will not have enough to buy the pearl.
No one knows the price of the pearl.
Only the pearl can say that.”
The rational man says,”Well, he’s mad.
The pearl is unique in this world.
It will never have a price.”
* The work with dreams is full of danger,
but still I use those to teach.
PS. Before someone gets upset re: Shams’ story re: the Christian,
I believe it’s an entirely arbitrary example, and could easily have
been Muslim, or any other religious follower. I believe Shams is
pointing out how the individual in question felt that there was one
way to God, ie; his way, whereas Shams – with the simple example
of when the fellow’s ego was massaged a little, proved to be a friend,
but otherwise, a foe.
Just came across a poem and thought immediatly of you Dimitar and for all at the Saker!
A New Federalism (for Merrick Garland)
Pray hope dispel despair
But act to make it so.
Do not despair the fantasies
Insidious foe provokes:
As the day I conjured ricin
Then anthrax in my “lab”
And pastoralized the New York Times
For gentiles to take up.
And was it mere telepathy
That self-same afternoon
An old-school Air Force pilot
Found he’d had enough–
Of one-too-many-evil whites
Workshops to endure–
And fired two Maverick missiles
Inside the White House door?
Is Merrick Garland fuming? You
Bet your life he is! My “pornographic” fantasies
Skew far from those prescribed.
But HIS could use “adjustment”
Even more than mine.
Domestic Terrorist, really?
The makings of a bomb?
Ergo, 10 years in gulag
For poems and lawn-mower gas.
Merrick, we’d love you in your Pale
And better all the more, the more
You keep your Cheka
A half a world apart.
Thanks for the thought, Gerry. After reading the article you’ve linked, the following comes to mind;
no man is ever completely right,
nor is any man completely wrong
what’s right for me is wrong for you
what’s right for you is wrong for me
Everyone must come to terms with the inner or subjective
reality, and the outer, objective reality, as they apply to them-
selves. One must eventually choose a life directed either by
the mind and senses, or one directed by Divine Spirit. What
I’ve found is that one makes progress in life when one sets
and lives by a law or contract, that he creates/defines himself,
and that the unspoken requirement is that that law is in harmony
with the Law of Love. Experience teaches us what fits and
what doesn’t with the above, and time gradually weeds out
the things that hold us back spiritually. I know this is simple,
naive almost, but if we don’t employ self-reliance, then we
essentially squander the benefits that spring out of our
connection to Divine Spirit. Best wishes, D.
Here’s a song you might enjoy; Bruce Cockburn;
“All the Diamonds In The World”, just love the clip.
Dear Dimitar, in the Indian way of life,

Or if you are Hercules, you have to go to the mountain and the desert.
And you wont find no majorities there, maybe a skunk once and awhile if you get sent off to war.
LOL.. now that’s what I’m talking’ about, Alabama…
‘Illusion’ is a magic trick formed by the sleight of hand; ‘Delusion’ is when the illusionist believes his own ‘illusion’. The ‘Illusionist’ is ‘The Collective’. So ‘The Illusionist” (read e.g. government, bureaucracy, party, tribe, ‘true-believer’, etc.) creates an “illusion’ founded on ego. lies. manipulation, intended theft, ignorance, incompetence and with criminal intent imposes such illusion onto the ignorant, poor, gullible and trusting who embrace such acts as ‘love and good-will’ (sic) thus created by their own hands in the name of ‘democracy’ and other such warm and comforting terms, to such result that he/she then also believes, he the ‘Illusionist’ and also then, the being of the ‘lowest-common-denominator’ of human society, believes his wealth and power are the result of his exceptional skills, intellect, competence, etc., and not crasse theft/deceit and abuse of trust, ethics and morality. He then becomes the delusionist; he is man – the proto-human being, not yet emergent/ nor sustainable… author known

I owe Mr P an answer.
Something things fly by, and sometimes they fly right off the board – some I can catch, others not.
Mr P, I talk from personal experience and not from an imposed agenda.
Many stories come to mind.
Version 2.0 with correction of a previous post probably better here since I thought of it so late and the topics of focus even in alt media has moved on.
By the way, regarding that $85 billion in Americastani weapons the dead weight anchors and guests on Fox Hasbara and Fox Plunderbund, and their viewership constantly crow about — did we get the answer regarding what that stuff was going to be used for 5 January 2022?
Or was it all destroyed in various parties, some of which were filmed and uploaded to Youtube.
Or are Google search results for once accurate and this is a case of stopped 24 hour clocks and clocks with either an AM or PM button that are our supposedly left wing media such as the Washington Post and FactCheck.org being correct once per day.
Russia’s response is a threat to deploy troops in Venezuela and Cuba.
“It takes courage to act rightly; to place principles above, even, survival. In that regard, then, faith could be considered as the evidence of principles unseen.”
LORD, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. LORD, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen.
With wars and rumours of war everywhere i just wanted to thank everyone on this blog for their work and the commenters for all the things i have learned.
Beautiful prayer, thank you, Per.
Amen Per. Say one for us and we’ll say one for you. Stay safe all.
Today, there are more than 4 MILLIONS victim of agent orange in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
3rd and 4th generations of us are still being born with birth defect from the toxins spreaded by the USA.
On this day in 1962, Operation Ranch Hand, a US Air Force plan to spray South Vietnamese forests with Agent Orange & other defoliants to reduce cover for the Viet Cong began.
The Red Cross of Vietnam estimates 1 million were disabled or suffered health problems due to exposure.
And no trials, no apologies and absolutely no compensations or
recognition – WHATSOEVER !!
JUST AWFUL WAR CRIMES.
And that’s just the tip of such a ‘iceberg’ called IGNORANCE.
And just think of the depleted uranium in Iraq. Boggles the mind. Destroys the soul.
Operation Ranch Hand was given final authorization by, in many people’s eyes, “the Great” JFK.
In those days there were multiple Mafia factions.
The “Great”, in sync everywhere, are now, with their strings suitably pulled, repeating the operation, on a Global basis, via Mandatory Vaccination (increasingly by hook or by crook) for that which cannot be mentioned. As ever, all they needed this time was a suitable scapegoat imaginary/otherwise.
If, due to an unprecedented remission from ADHD, he should actually experience a once-in-a-lifetime brainstorm of concentration and read as far as the extract below, I have predicted his likely response at the bottom.
“Watch this video (https://www.bitchute.com/video/u7OpzqosKVq1/) of a CVS pharmacist being questioned for distributing the vaccines without providing informed consent, and you will witness an individual painfully, honorably coming to terms with the knowledge that he has been violating the Nuremberg Code and his professional code of ethics.
He no longer has plausible deniability. And now, neither do you.”
“Ah, but you see, I didn’t watch the video, nor did I read beyond the first six lines of your letter…
So I DO have plausible deniability.
And, also as ever, they knew they could rely on human gullibility and/or selfishness to get the turkey’s in line for xmas.
Rather than a course in learning, as Dimitar might espouse, existence seems, more likely, a course in futility.
Who was it who gave the first light of inspiration for a cafe at Saker’s? What sun rising in the east caught the rays and made it visible? It was no single soul but two, ! What of them now, is it possible to fight against the rising tidal wave of destiny that will crush and extinguish a faithful spirit?
No, all things are possible in ways unknown with God.
No comments whatsoever in response to this post, thankyou.
Live Lavrov at his annual Q&A press conference in Moscow, summing up the results of Russian diplomacy and foreign policy during 2021.
Young Alex made the salient point that two court cases in the public’s eye, the Djokovic one in Australia and OSHA in the US, are birds of a feather – ambitious Demonstration Cases.
How was Liberty legally lost, overtly, in previous eras or civilizations?
These cases appear to have far bigger objectives than mere mandates or visa shenanigans, and his point makes sense.
They appear power plays to do away with the separation of powers and to shape “the legal terrain” of the NWO, struggling to be born.
The Imperial Presidency having neutered Congress now contemplates the Courts with a baleful gaze.
Please correct me if I misread, but this is pattern so far: They set a willful precedent – (1) they make decisions which are manifestly illegal, then (2) wait for the Courts to nullify these arbitrary diktats which are in conflict with existing laws on the books, then (3) they overturn the court’s decision – the second and fatal blow against Law, so they hope. Courts are in zugzwang. Which Judge has the integrity and resolve to hold firm? Held against them are control files, employment and very ability to continue breathing. Not to mention having ascended to the Court based on carefully directed education, secret society/fraternity affiliation, licensing and careful vetting. It will be as easy to get them to march in Lockstep, as the good doctors did..
It is a big play overturning English common law and torches many ancient documents such as the Magna Carta, US constitution.. Every aspect of the West is being deconstructed. And this crushing of Law is one of final plays.
Father Martin Niemöller would have appreciated the inexorable tide, the logic of the Anglo-Zionists – “first they came to muzzle us, then…” well it was already Game Over at that point.
Well das Father wasn’t armed was he…..so, like a lamb to the chamber, or stand up and die like a man…..it’s a Viking thing…..
Every small victory counts. Too many, often give up on losing hope, for them even a gleam of light in this darkness will mean a lot. Novak’s not only capable of fighting in the Melbourne Park but also through lawfare, so what if he loses, he did put up a jolly good fight against the powers that be.
Ignore the laws of nature at ones own peril.
i forgot how slowly the Russians translate these things, so i did not notice i posted a partial translation before i had read the “full” transcript and saw the dreaded “to be contiued”😩😂
Luckily yandex have become supreme in translating Russian to english so i just had to scroll down to were i left of and continue reading😂
Sorry for any annoyance to anyone reading the unfinished translation.
Only your full version has been published on the site. Mod.
That transcript is not complete yet and nothing has been posted yet. It will be posted when complete. Unless the Russian MFA decided to work over the weekend, my crystal ball tells me that the 3-hour press conference transcript will be complete only on Monday. Perhaps this time they surprise me – I keep hoping :-).
Per/Norway, I have a request. I think we should stop posting links to a site banned by the US State Dept. I know you mean well, but some others already have had knocks on their doors. I do not want that for myself and I think my boss also does not want that. The one writer called it Force Majeure and I think the description fits, as he cannot fight these state minions. We cannot do that either. So, a kind request, not nice I know and it frustrates me endlessly, but can you perhaps just not post them in the reader news? They understand.
I’ll see if I have time today to search out all the blogs or substacks of all the writers, and perhaps we can use their personal blogs. Not sure now.
Just did my last check of the day on the completed transcript.
No, there is not a completed transcript yet.
Mod, there is no full version to post yet. We still have the frustrating “To be continued… ”
It will be Monday.
And it was Sunday. Transcript is now posted up.
More coincidences akin to coal explosions and exploding meteors and existential chemical fertilizers becoming too expensive for farming, I just saw in news the chemical plant fire in N.J. Aren’t finished chlorine pellets essential for waste water treatment and water supplies in general? Without which would guarantee an increase in disease? There was a trick just employed in Donbass by Ukies – they poured toxic chemicals into communal river water source so locals couldn’t use tap water even to cook..
Nevertheless, one can’t help staring at this scripted Dance Macabre. And we each have our ways to release the stress of these days. so I trawled the RT comments section, which I knew would be fruitful. And is it me or has RT upped the game in last days? Little to lose now, eh? Less coyness and porn and more focused revealing of facts.
Some reproducible comments from chemical plant fire just across from NYC:
> Bhopal karma.
> Chlorine factory overworking to prepare for false flag in Ukraine
> Oh no not in Joyzee
> Hope it burns down the entire town. Would be an improvement.
–>> That has been a Democrat stronghold for decades, so they re-elected the same (literally the same) Democrat Governor who ran New Jersey to the ground, they love to live in squalid and so they shall once again.
There is no cure for stupid.
> Anyone know the demographics of the people living around the plant?
–>> 70% Blacks, 20% Hispanics and the remaining 10% does not matter.
> I thought this is the initial salvo of hypersonics [Lol!!!]
> Anyone knows who owns the chemical plant?
–>> Some loser who couldn’t cover his gambling losses. Insurance is the best thing since sliced bread. We’re talking Jersey, right?
> Exposure can include difficulty breathing, vomiting, blisters, blurred vision, and a burning sensation in the nose, mouth, and eyes… Are these symptons of the chlorine or the (you know what)
–>> That explains Biden’s symptoms and the need for hourly diaper change.
> Look at all these dummies- walking around with their phones right next to a fire in a chemical plant! Seriously people.
–>> Americans. What did you expect? Just ask them how many genders there are?
–>> That is the average American for you and then you wonder why the US is a sh1thole?
–>> Thieves loot freight trains in Los Angeles with impunity as police fail to respond.
–>> Banks are too big to fail thievery impunity… it’s all fair game in uSSa and uKKK
–>> We still have twice as many people as Russia. Survival of the fittest? America takes 1st place once again.
–>> Cockroaches are numerous doesn’t mean we should follow them…
>> OMG, Joe Biden just attacked his own people with deadly chlorine gas. The Monster! Russia should launch an immediate air-strike on Washington DC in the name of liberty and democracy! Then the UN can launch an investigation.
Vladimir Putin, you are our only hope.
–>> Biden has more lethal gas in his diapers.
>> Perhaps this may lead to some urban renewal in NJ, which is an open air dump. Most of US looks like it been eaten up by dung beetles Frankly.
This was just tip of the spear, and what I could safely copy!
Does appear some democrats are getting nervous about something, cant find that tunnel? No problem, just walk to pennzee where the water is clean and the air is nice.
Border Patrol shooting at Russians.
Highly unusual and dangerous action here.
I have been through that border many times and don’t see how it can be a “use of force incident”. You are stuck in a congested mess unable to drive forward or backward, just answer the questions. So I don’t think the threat was to the officer, it had to be something bigger. imo
The dramatic incident comes amid a tenfold increase in CBP encounters with migrants from Russia, from 467 in 2020 to 4,103 so far in 2021. Observers link the uptick to Mexico easing travel for Russian passport holders and migrants from ex-Soviet Uzbekistan using Russian passports to cross the Mexican-U.S. border.
The CBP said it was involved in a “use of force incident” Sunday at the San Isidro, California, port of entry with Tijuana, Mexico.
The CBP said its officer conducting pre-entry inspections fired at one of the approaching vehicles, which then collided with a second car.
Deadly force is authorized anytime there’s a reasonable belief a subject “poses an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to the agent or another person,” according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection policy.
Legally, an officer’s use of force is about balance. It must be in proportion to what’s called the “totality of circumstances.”
You don’t often see congress so panicked to get something passed this fast. My guess, for sure the bomb laden drones are already here. Congess panics at the same time the Sunspot Obsevatory was evacuated-here you get your choice of Extraterrestrials, child porn or espionage. Sunspot sits on Sacramento mountain overlooking the patriot missiles and other toys of New Mexico. The janitor with the porn was never arrested so that was a bogus excuse.
An aviation bill Congress is rushing to approve contains a little-noticed section that would give authorities the power to track, intercept and destroy drones they consider a security threat, without needing a judge’s approval.
The bill was never considered on its own by the full Senate or the House. Instead, in private negotiations that ended last weekend, it was tucked into a “must-pass” piece of FAA legislation.
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen wrote in a recent op-ed that the threat of drone attacks “is outpacing our ability to respond.” She said criminals use drones to smuggle drugs across the border, but worse, terrorists like the Islamic State are deploying them on the battlefield.

Now go to El Mencho who is working with the Romanian and Russian mafias. El Mencho has networks in Mexico, America, Europe and Asia. Many times governments will seek the help of the mafia and this network seems way to good to pass up-hit anywhere and more difficult to trace than a missile.
Albeit drones would be only one reason for shooting into a crowd.
Bomblet Dropping Drones Are Now Being Used By Cartels In Mexico’s Drug War
The USA is so wired and keeping it quiet.
I wish we had input from Mr P. [Earth to Anoxia, pl break Silence!]
we need accumulated data points massaged and perspectives expanded, thank you very much.
I last lived in the States a decade and a half ago and lost a lot of the feel. current scenes from NJ and urban areas appear to be going to hell in a well-greased handbasket even before they power up Project Blue Beam and the fake Alien Invasion.
Thanks for FAA legislation. MoA recently had something on a “fight” between FAA and FCC regarding the roll-out of 5G. They postponed it from Jan 5 for 2 weeks, which makes no practical sense, since you cannot improve pilot training in 2 weeks to land in poor visibility if the automated landing systems are interfered with. And I assume both 5G and planes will continue to use the C-band. Why an issue in US and not in Paris and other cities which rolled it out? However the delay lands on an interesting day. Verizon / T-Mobile and other 5G suppliers promise to activate Skynet on 1.19 so pl keep safe and power down your devices that day and don’t stroll around on your constitutional too much. Note the reverse numerology, a traditional day of Sacrifice for the satanists. That day promises to be historic. The same day the written response to the Ultimatum is due, and when Iranian President visits Moskau and we may also have a full moon. Goodness, maybe we should all hibernate next week?
And the skies are getting crowded – these drones are colliding with planes and wrecking havoc with routes. Amazon already beta-tested drone package deliveries in places like Dubai, and are counting on this being seamless and standardized. However as you note, mafias, saboteurs and other shadow actors are making use of it, upsetting many apple-carts! I see it as one positive disruption of the digital and drone smart grid, viva los guerrillos.
The bomblet dropping drones have been game changers worldwide now – Israelis, Yemenis, Turks, Iranians appear leaders and had a lot of experience in Syria, Yemen/KSA, Nagorno-Karabakh and Donbass. Does the US have the necessary EW capability and Pantsir to control their skies from drones?! If their behavior of running from defending KSA’s oil crown jewels is any indication (for a “pivot of Patriots to China”, right), the US has a valid reason to quietly panic.
The big Mr P man might be ornery with me because of a difference. I hope not. I feel as strongly as what he does, but for me, it is by direct first-hand experience. But things happened to obscure the messaging. For that, I am sorry but I am not responsible. I am content to live with the difference with no hard feelings.
Let me say thanks however for someone who he introduced me to. Jeffrey Kaye, who I have followed ever since. Kaye says about our current circumstances:
The step up in propaganda to wartime levels is preparatory to actual war! This is an extremely dangerous time. U.S. willing to risk nuclear war to expand NATO and try and take down the Putin regime. This is no joke, not an exaggeration. Silence now is tantamount to acquiesce!”
He is talking about the sheer effrontery of the ‘Russian False Flag’ Tosh that is being trumpeted by CNN and has this link attached. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/01/14/politics/us-intelligence-russia-false-flag/index.html
Regarding your question, in another sector, I read a long list of tweets that were combined in a thread reader regarding the real situation in the US, at least the tech sector. It was a maddening sector anyways, but now, it seems just completely off the rails. So, if any serious and critical technical decisions have to be taken, this is what the sector and its decision-making look like.
Btw, I updated a few news items here: https://saker.community/topic/new-chatter-and-jabber-thread-starting-on-december-29/
It was supposed to be a day to spend a few hours on a quiet beach, but the sky is grey and the rain will come down soon. So, we will hibernate already!
I have no direct knowledge of Russia, never been there, never taken courses. But I have no antipathy either. Most of my knowledge comes from reading news, and from an interest in WWII history. For some reason, I seem to be able to see propaganda when I hear it. This “Russia-will-invade-Ukraine” narrative to me is clearly the prep narrative that is going to justify some new attack on Russia. But what you and many readers seem to miss, is that this is all narrative-war. Russia WILL invade Ukraine, and it does not have to involve real weapons or even real Russians. The Russian-aggression genre seems to run best during Olympics, so Russia will probably invade Ukraine in February, whether Russia does or not.
Russia’s incompetence at narrative war endangers Russia and thereby endangers us all, since Russia plans to fight narrative-war with real weapons, which includes nuclear weapons.
Why does Russia seem to always have their NY City UN representative be the most uninteresting, unattractive, dour-looking, inarticulate bureaucratesque man? The US has shown that well-cast good looking women make the best show and have the strongest effect. Russia has good looking women, some of whom must be nationalist and know English or can learn it. Why not a passionate voice in NY City about the US-UK genocide in Diego Garcia? Or about US meddling in Venezuela’s democracy? Or Honduras’s? Or Brazil’s? Why not some offensive in the narrative-war? The film, “Wag the Dog”, shows how this is done.
In narrative-war, the first story out has the most enduring truth, whether it is true or not. A team of quick narrative-makers is more powerful than dozens of quick launch missiles. The US and UK must have teams of narrative makers, on alert 24-7. When the Panama Papers hit the news, 5 minutes later the world knew that Putin was not one of patrons hiding money, which proved how clever he was at hiding his stolen money. Someone got a promotion for that one. One more cut on Putin on the way to the thousand-cuts.
And part of narrative war is sheer volume. I sometimes read the online “Siberian Times” because I like their archeology/paleontology reports and climate-change reports. The world media could be stuffed full of stories about Siberia. It is a big place, a diverse place. Turn the volume. Dilute the US-UK narratives.
The US self-justifies its aggression by defeating Hitler over and over and over and over for 70 years. So all violence it does around the world is GOOD because the US used violence to beat the perfect evil of Hitler. Even though D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge happened after Germany had lost WWII at Stalingrad and Kursk. Where are the Russian narrative novels and films of WWII? The only one I have seen was Jude Law as an heroic sniper in Stalingrad. How about some TV series in English about the women flying the bi-planes at night? How about the Jews crossing Russia to the Far East to escape the Holocaust? I have a Jewish friend who’s family survived in a Shanghai slum during WWII, thanks to Russia. How about Russia’s Arctic defeat of Hitler in Norway’s Finmark? How about films about Zhukov and his defeat of Japan’s invasion by encirclement, or his defense plan for Moscow, or his exile to a no-place line of battle where he decided to capture a Tiger tank undamaged so it could be reverse engineered? How about a drama on the Japanese attempts to surrender in WWII, using Russia as the go-between? How about a film about the Doolittle Raid aircrew that Russia saved? There must be many James-Bond-ish events of Russian spies, and as many of Russia partisans. In a narrative-war, you have to create and disseminate narrative.
On the offensive side, how about novels and films about the intrigue behind Seal Team Six’s deaths, or the fisherman who finds parts of the plane that hit the Pentagon? Narrative does not have to be true, though bits of truth make it more effective. “It is just a film. It is fiction.”
Every Russian I have met, mostly academics, are skeptical of government narratives. It is the Americans who are most ripe to be influenced by narratives. Russian cynicism is actually some level of effective defense in a narrative war. Americans inability to distinguish reality from fiction is a major weakness for the USA, and not just a weakness vis-a-vis Russia, but a weakness, a frightening weakness, in all areas of human existence.
I am old, but have grandkids. I do not want our world and their future destroyed because Russia plans to fight narrative war with nuclear missiles.
@Tulips, please provide links, backed by fact, that Russia will fight a narrative war with ‘nuclear weapons’, otherwise, might I suggest, and please, no offense intended, I tell friends, the few I have left, please, turn off, and do not watch CNN or other MSN narratives.
Should Russia have to resort to any type of nuclear defence, and Mr Putin clearly stated, any missiles fired into Russia proper, will be returned in kind….no place in the entire NA Continent North or South, is safe……and if you think a deep bunker is safe, there will be nothing to emerge too when the banging stops. False narratives about Russia resorting to ‘nuclear blackmail’ in no way helps the situation.
Tulips, we are here for information, not for entertainment. Once we have peace in this world, we can entertain ourselves till the cows come home. It is the narrative, the entertainment, that have many people as dumb as planks. In reality, the entertainment of that old series, Mash, should have told everyone everything. And Good Morning Vietnam should have told the other story.
If we keep seeking entertainment, it is clear we won’t get the information. In the US it may be a narrative war. I promise you, for the ones being shot at, color revolutionized, sanctioned etc, it is not narrative.
We don’t have much time to make cute movies. We have to defend ourselves against bullets and bombs. How many movies do you think the Palestinians are able to make? They get killed when they take out the camera.
TONGA: Observation by a NZ on a thread on the internet:
…..we have a large Tongan community here and no sight of the Prime Minister or any government communication about what’s happening around the region, whose talking to who, whose planning what. Dead air.
Very well noted, sir.
Black Joke – beware the narrative of the good shepherd.
The sheep or the sheeple – we know that the shepherd protects the sheep from being eaten by the wolves.
Only for the sheep or the sheeple to be shorn and eaten by the shepherd at the end of the day.
Propaganda is disinformation transmitted through society from the top down. Ampliganda is disinformation transmitted bottom-up, through repetition & amplification. Since it’s a decentralized form of indoctrination, it’s almost impossible to counter.
Firehose of falsehood
Traditional disinformation tries to make you believe lies. Today’s more sophisticated disinformation tries to confuse you. This is done by overwhelming you with a cacophony of (often contradictory) disinformation, so you can no longer tell what’s real.
Caitlin Johnstone usually cuts through narrative very well.
