A week has passed since I have placed a donation button on this blog and I feel that I ought to give you a short update on the donations received. A total of 65 people from 7 countries have made donations ranging from 2 dollars to 100 dollars. 2 people have chosen to make a “recurrent payment”. All this refers to donations made through PayPal. Only three people chose the Flattr button and so far I have not found a way to see what kind of donation these flattrs have been (I think that I will only find out on the 10th of next month – weird system). Whatever may be the case, this much needed help is immensely appreciated and I want to thank you all for your kindness, not only for your generous donations, but for talking me into doing this in the first place! Not only does this really help me and my family in a delicate moment in time, but it is also a huge sign of support which gives me courage, energy and the desire to do better.
Many, many very sincere thanks to you all,
PS: as soon as a receive a donation on PP I immediately transfer it to my bank account as to avoid any “issues” with PP. As for Bitcoin, I am still bewildered by this system, but I am reading up on it. Will keep you posted.
Personal announcement: update on donations
Smart move on moving the $$$ right away. I was talking with another blogger the other day he pays taxes on the donations. The irs are after Arthur Sibeler because he didn’t pay, so please ask an account about this. I was audited 5 years in a row not fun but I never lost either.
I made a contribution; please let us know if we can provide the confirmation number so you verify that contributions went through. I presume you receive the same confirmation numbers as we did.
@Anonymous: please let us know if we can provide the confirmation number so you verify that contributions went through.
Thank you! You should have received a confirmation in your email, but if you have even the slightest doubt, please email me at [email protected] and let me know what you confirmation number is and I will let you know if I got it and, if yes, how much I got.
@EVERYBODY The above goes for anybody: in case of doubt, no matter how small, let me know and I will immediately check and confirm the donation.
Cheers and, again, MANY THANKS!
I’m still hoping you post a snail mail address or po box for cash if you can do it without compromising your privacy (or running afoul of the law).
Didn’t know you had Flattr. But know I have subscribed. You’ll receive $10-$20 in donation end of month this month.
If you add support for BitCoin, consider adding Dogecoin and Litecoin as well. Those seem to be the 3 most popular ones right now (earlier this year, Dogecoin actually became more popular than Bitcoin):
The Jamaican Bobsled Team recently raised over $30,000 with Dogecoin.
Just a thought, maybe you can take a look at crowd funding.
People do this for all kinds of project these days, from remaking movies to all kind of charity work. Maybe you can create a crowd fund project to build a independent media platform, invite other journalists to join, so there are more work done and as a result attract even more funding.
@Anonymous:maybe you can take a look at crowd funding
You know, this is a very interesting idea which I am going to think about very very seriously. I even can think of a few names who could join me in this. Thanks a lot for the idea and I will definitely come back to this.
Kind regards and many thanks,
I am 100 percent with Monica
Waiting for snail mail

Even when Homeland Gestapo will knock on your door :-) :-)..We are here :-)
I join Monica P. Can you please post a PO Box number for those who want to send checks?
I checked a local UPS store for a PO BOX and they want 10 dollars a month, which I don’t want to give them. I will check with the local post office next and let you all know.
I will keep you posted, thanks for your patience and sorry for the delays (I am new at all this),
Hey guys, beneath the links to download last version of Dimitri Khalezov’s very interesting book “The Third Truth about 9/11”
The ONLY definition of the term “ground zero” in pre-11/9 dictionaries:
“A point on the surface of land or water at or directly above or below the center of a nuclear explosion.”
– Collins English Dictionary, Major New Edition (Third Edition 1991, ISBN 0 00 433286-5 Standard).
D. Khalezov is a former Soviet citizen, a former commissioned officer of the so-called “military unit 46179”, otherwise known as “the Special Control Service” of the 12th Chief Directorate of the Defense Ministry of the USSR.
The Special Control Service, also known as the Soviet atomic (later “nuclear”) intelligence was a secret military unit responsible for detecting of nuclear explosions (including underground nuclear tests) of various adversaries of the former USSR as well as responsible for controlling of observance of various international treaties related to nuclear testing and to peaceful nuclear explosions.
Very important: Must read !!!
Sorry for OT
Thanks for sharing this article – great read. I’ve found out about the great work Tony Charalambides and the Listen Fundraising team are doing for the Damilola Taylor trust. They have donated £25,000 and if they manage to raise £20,000 by March 2015 they will match every penny raised and donate it all to the charity.
