In all the political drama taking place in the USA as a result of the attempted color revolution against Trump, the bigger picture sometimes gets forgotten. And yet, this bigger picture is quite amazing, because if we look at it we will see irrefutable signs that the Empire in engaged in some bizarre slow motion of seppuku and the only mystery left is who, or what, will serve as the Empire’s kaishakunin (assuming there will be one).
I would even argue that the Empire is pursuing a full-spectrum policy of self-destruction on several distinct levels, with each level contributing the overall sum total suicide. And when I refer to self-destructive behavior I don’t mean long-term issues such as the non-sustainability of the capitalist economic model or the social consequences of a society which not only is unable to differentiate right from wrong, but which now decrees that deviant behavior is healthy and normal. These are what I call “long term walls” into which we will, inevitably, crash, but which are comparatively further away than some “immediate walls”. Let me list a few of these:
Political suicide: the Neocons’ refusal to accept the election of Donald Trump has resulted in a massive campaign to de-legitimize him. What the Neocons clearly fail to see, or don’t care about, is that by de-legitimizing Trump they are also de-legitimizing the entire political process which brought Trump to power and upon which the United States are built as a society. As a direct result from this campaign, not only are millions of Americans becoming disgusted with the political system they were indoctrinated to believe in, but internationally the notion of “American democracy” is becoming a sad joke.
And just to make things worse, the US corporate media is finally showing its true face and now unapologetically shows the entire world that not only is it not in any way “fair” or “objective”, but that it is a 100% prostituted propaganda machine which faithfully serves the interests of the US “deep state”.
A key element of the quasi constant brainwashing of the average American has always been the regular holding of elections. Nevermind that, at least until now, the outcome of these elections made very little difference inside the USA and non at all outside, the goal was never to consult the people – the goal has always been to give the illusion of democracy and people power. Now that the Democrats say that the Russians rigged the elections and the Republicans say that it was the Democrats and their millions of dead voters who tried stealing it, it become rather obvious that these elections were always a joke, a pseudo-democratic “liturgy”, a brainwashing ritual – you name it – but never about anything real.
The emergence of the concept of 1% can be “credited” to the Obama Administration, since it was during Obama that the entire “Occupy Wall Street” movement took off, but the ultimate unmasking of the viciously evil true face of that 1% must be credited to Hillary with her truly historical confession in which she openly declared that those who oppose her are a “basket of deplorables”. We already knew, thanks to Victoria Nuland, what the AngloZionist leaders thought of the people of Europe, now we know what they think of the people of the USA: exactly the same thing.
The bottom line is this: I don’t think that the moral authority and political credibility of the USA have ever been lower than today. Decades of propaganda by Hollywood and the official US propaganda machine have now collapsed and nobody buys that counter-factual nonsense anymore.
Foreign policy suicide: let’s see what options there are to choose from. The Neocons want a war with Russia which the Trump people don’t. The Trump people, however, want, well maybe not a war, although that option is very much on the table, but at least a very serious confrontation with China, North Korea or Iran, and about half of them would also like some kind of confrontation with Russia. There is absolutely nobody, at least at the top, who would dare to suggest that a confrontation or, even worse, a war with China, Iran, North Korea or Russia would be a disaster, a calamity for the USA. In fact, serious people with impressive credentials and a lot of gravitas are discussing these possibilities as if they were real, as it the USA could in some sense prevail. This is laughable. Well, no, it it not. But it would be if it wasn’t so frightening and depressing. The truth is very, very different.
[Sidebar: While it is probably not impossible for the United States to prevail, in purely military terms, against the DPRK in a war, the potential risks are nothing short of immense. And I don’t mean the risk posed by the North Korean nukes which, apparently, is also quite real. I mean the risk of starting a war against a country which has Seoul within conventional artillery range, an active duty army of well over one million people and 180’000 special forces operators. Let us assume for a second that the DPRK has no air force and no navy and an army composed of only 1M+ soldiers, 21k+ artillery pieces and 180k special forces. How do you propose to deal with that threat? If you have an easy, obvious solution, you have watched too many Hollywood movies. You probably also don’t understand the terrain.]
But yes, the DPRK also has major wseaknesses and I cannot exclude that the North Korean armed forces would rapidly collapse under a sustained attack by the US and the ROK. I did not say that I believe that this would happen, only that I don’t exclude it. Should that happen, the US might well prevail relatively rapidly, at least in purely military terms. However, please keep in mind that any military operation has to serve a political goal and, in that sense, I cannot imagine any scenario under which the USA would walk away from a war against the DPRK with anything remotely resembling a real “victory”. There is a paraphrase of something Ho Chi Minh allegedly told to the French in the 1940s which I really like. It goes like this:” we kill some of you, you kill a lot of us, and then we win”. That is how a war with the DPRK would probably play out. I call this the “American curse”: Americans are very good at killing people, but they are not good at winning wars. Still, in the case of the DPRK there is at least a possibility of a military victory, even if at a potentially huge cost. With Iran, Russia or China there is no such possibility at all: a war with any of them would be a guaranteed disaster (I wrote about a war in Iran here and about a war with Russia too many times to count). So why is it that even though out of the 4 possible wars, one is a potential disaster and the 3 others are a guaranteed disaster, why is it that these are discussed as if they were potential options?!
The reason for that can be found in the unique mix of crass ignorance and political cowardice of the entire US political class. First, a lot (most?) of US politicians believe in their own silly propaganda about the US armed forces being “the best” in “the world” (no evidence needed!). But even those who are smart enough to realize that this is a load of baloney which nobody outside the USA still takes seriously, they know that saying that publicly is political suicide. So they pretend, go along, and keep on repetitively spewing the patriotic mantra about “rah, rah, USA, USA, ‘Merica number one, we are the best” etc. Some figure that since the USA spends more on aggression that the rest of the planet combined, that must mean that the US armed forces must be “better” (whatever that means). To the birthplace of “bigger is better” the answer is self-evident. It is also completely wrong.
Eventually, something crazy inevitably happens. Like in Syria were the State Department had one policy, the Pentagon another and the CIA yet another one. The resulting cognitive dissonance is removed by engaging in classical doublethink: “yes, we screwed up over and over, but we are still the best”. Ironically, that kind of mindset is at the core of the American inability to learn from past mistakes. If the choice is between an honest evaluation of past operations and political expediency, the latter always prevails (at least amongst civilians, US servicemen are often far more capable of self-critical evaluation, especially in ranks up to Colonel and below, the problem here is that civilians and generals rarely listen to them).
The result is total chaos: the US foreign policy is wholly dependent on the US ability to threaten the use of military force, but the harsh reality is that every country out there which dared to defy Uncle Sam did that only after coming to the conclusion that the US did not have the means to crush it militarily. In other words, only the weak, which are already de-facto US colonies, fear the USA. Or, put differently, the only countries who dare to defy Uncle Sam are the strong ones (that was all quite predictable, but US politicians don’t know about Hegel or dialectics). And just to make it worse, there is no real US foreign policy. What there is is only the sum vector of the different foreign policies desired by various more or less covert “deep state” actors, agencies and individuals. That resulting “sum vector” is inevitably short-term, focuses on a quickfix approach, and unable to take into account any complexity.
As for the US “diplomacy” it simply doesn’t exist. You don’t need diplomats to deliver demands, bribes, ultimatums and threats. You don’t need educated people. Nor do you need people with any understanding of the “other”. All you need is one arrogant self-enamored bully and one interpreter (since US diplomats don’t speak the local languages either. And why would they?). We saw the most compelling evidence of the total rigor mortis of the US diplomatic corps when 51 US “diplomats” demanded that Obama bomb Syria. The rest of the world could just observe in amazement, sadness, bewilderment and total disgust.
The bottom line is this: there is no “US diplomacy”. The USA have simply let that entire field atrophy to the point were it ceased to exist. When so many baffled observers try to understand what the US policy in the Ukraine or Syria is, they are making a mistaken assumption – that there is a US foreign policy to being with. I would argue that the US diplomacy slowly and quietly passed away, sometime after James Baker (the last real US diplomat, and a brilliant one at that).
Military suicide: the US military was never a very impressive one, certainly not when compared to the British, Russian or German ones. But it did have a couple of very strong points including the ability to produce a lot of technical innovations which made it possible to produce new, sometimes quite revolutionary, weapons. And if the US track record on ground operations was rather modest, the US did prove to be a most capable adversary in naval and aerial warfare. I don’t think that it can be denied that for most of the years following WWII the USA had the most powerful and sophisticated navy and airforce in the world. Then, gradually, things started getting worse and worse as the costs of the very expensive ships and aircraft shot through the roof while the quality of the produced systems appeared to be gradually degrading. Weapons systems which looked nothing short of awesome in the lab and test grounds proved to be almost useless once they to to their end user on the battlefield. What happened? How did a country which produced the UH-1 Huey or the F-16 suddenly start producing Apaches and F-35s?! The explanation is painfully simple: corruption.
Not only did the US military industrial complex bloat beyond any reasonable size, it also cloaked itself in so many layers of secrecy that massive corruption became inevitable. And when I speak of “massive corruption” I am not talking about millions but billions or even trillions. How? Simple – the Pentagon claimed did not have the accounting tools needed to properly account for the missing money and that the money was therefore not really “missing”. Another trick – no bid contracts. Or contracts which cover all the private contractor’s costs, no matter how high or ridiculous. Desert Storm was a bonanza for the MIC, as was 9/11 and the GWOT. Billions of dollars got printed out of thin air, distributed (mostly under the cover of national security), hidden (secrecy) and stolen (by everybody in this entire food chain). The feeding frenzy was so extreme that one of my teachers as SAIS admitted, off the record of course, that he had never seen a weapons system he did not like or which he did not want to purchase. This man, whom I shall not name, was a former director of the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency. Yes, you read that right. He was in charge of DIS-armament. You can imagine what the folks in charge of armament (no “dis) were thinking…
With the stratospheric rise of corruption, the kind of US general which had to be promoted went from fighting men who remembered Vietnam (where they often lost family members, relatives and friends) to ass-kissing little chickenshits” like David Petraeus. In less than half a century US generals went from combat men, to managers, to politicians. And it is against this lackluster background that a rather unimpressive personality like General James Mattis can appear, at least to some, like a good candidate for Secretary of Defense.
Bottom line: the US armed forces are fantastically expensive and yet not particularly well-trained, well-equipped or well-commanded. And while they still are much more capable than the many European militaries (which are a joke), they are most definitely not the kind of armed forces needed to impose and maintain a world hegemony. The good news for the USA is that the US armed forces are more than adequate to defend the USA against any hypothetical attack. But as the backbone of the Empire – they are close to useless.
I could list many more types of suicides including an economic suicide, a social suicide, an educational suicide, a cultural suicide and, of course, a moral suicide. But others have already done that elsewhere, and much better than I could ever do myself. So all I will add here is one form of suicide which I believe the AngloZionist Empire has in common with the EU: a
“Suicide by reality denial”: this is the mother and father of all the other forms of suicide – the stubborn refusal to look at reality and accept the fact that “the party is over”. When I see the grim determination of US politicians (very much including the people supporting Trump) to continue to pretend as if the US hegemony was here to stay forever, when I see how they see themselves as the leaders of the world and how they sincerely believe that they need to get involved in every conflict on the planet, I can only come to the conclusion that the inevitable collapse will be painful. To be fair, Trump himself clearly has moments of lucidity about this, for example when he recently declared to Congress
Free nations are the best vehicle for expressing the will of the people — and America respects the right of all nations to chart their own path. My job is not to represent the world. My job is to represent the United States of America. But we know that America is better off, when there is less conflict — not more.
These are remarkable words for which Trump truly deserves a standing ovation as they are the closest thing to a formal admission that the United States have given up on the dream of being the World Hegemon and that from now on the US President will no longer represent the interest of trans-national plutocracies but he will represent the interests of the American people. This sort of language is nothing short of revolutionary, whether Trump truly delivers on that or not. Unlike everybody else, Trump does not appear to suffer from “suicide by reality denial” syndrome, but when I look at the people around him (nevermind the prostitutes in Congress) I wonder if he will ever get to act on his personal instincts.
Trump is clearly the best man in the Trump administration, he seems to have his heart in the right place and, unlike Hillary, he is clearly aware of the fact that the US armed forces are in a terrible shape. But a good heart and common sense are not enough to deal with the Neocons and the US deep state. You also need an iron will and a total determination to crush the opposition. Alas, so far Trump has failed to show either quality. Instead, Trump is trying to show how “tough” a guy he is by declaring that he will wipe out Daesh and by giving the Pentagon 30 days to come up with a plan to do this. Alas (for Trump), there is no way to crush Daesh without working with those who already have boots on the ground: the Iranians, the Russians and the Syrians. It is really that simple. And every American general knows that. Yet everybody is merrily plowing ahead is if there was some kind of possibility for the USA to crush Daesh without establishing a partnership with Russia, Iran and Syria first (Erdogan tried that. It did him no good. Now he is working with Russia and Iran). Will the good folks at the Pentagon find the courage to tell Trump that “no, Mr President, we cannot do that alone, we need the Russians, the Iranians and the Syrians”? I very much doubt it. So, yet again, we are probably going to see a case of reality denial, maybe not a suicidal one, but a significant one nonetheless. Not good.
Who will be the Empire’s kaishakunin?
Alexander Solzhenitsyn used to say that all states can be placed on a continuum which ranges from states whose authority is based on their power to states whose power is based on their authority. I think that we can agree that the authority of the USA is pretty close to zero. As for their power, it is still very substantial, but not sufficient to maintain the Empire. It is, however, more than adequate to protect the interests of the United States as a country provided the United States accept that they simply don’t have the means to remain a world hegemon.
If the Neocons succeed in their attempt to overthrow or, failing that, at paralyzing Trump, then the Empire will have the choice between an endless horror or a horrible end. Since the Neocons don’t really need a war with the DPRK, which they don’t like, but which does not elicit the kind of blind hatred Iran does, my guess is that Iran will be their number one target. Should the AngloZionists succeed in triggering a war between Iran and the Empire, then Iran will end up being the Empire’s kaishakunin. If the crazies fail in their manic attempts at triggering a major war, then the Empire will probably collapse under the pressure of the internal contradictions of the US society. Finally, if Trump and the American patriots who do not want to sacrifice their country for the sake of the Empire succeed in “draining the DC swamp” and finally crack-down hard on the Neocons then a gradual transition from Empire to major power is still possible. But the clock is running out fast.
To understand the United States of America, one only has to bear in mind the following dictum:
“Whom the Gods wish to destroy they first make mad.”
If by “the gods”, you mean “the Rothschilds/Soros”… the US/NATO/EU MIC axis has become too difficult for the 0.001% to control. Destruction in the name of profit is all well and good, but the political/corporate psychopath puppets the 0.001% put in charge of running the show in US/NATO/EU have come to believe their own mythology… that a New World Order can be achieved., and the MIC/Deep State will rule supreme.
The realization has dawned on the Rothschild/Bilderberg/Davos class that there are ample nukes to ensure they and theirs do not survive an atomic WW3. So Clinton “somehow” doesn’t win the election, and the potential of the 0.001% deliberately crashing the Bretton Woods/US$-reserve-currency system is being made increasingly clear. Clear to all except the blind psychopaths at the top political/military/corporate levels. To use the Stanford Prison Experiment analogy, the guards think they are in charge of the entire prison system, not merely hired, brainwashed thugs working for the 0.001%.
The fly in the ointment is that the Rothschild/Soros/Bilderberg/Davos class has not been able to gain full control over Russia, China and Iran. In the past, the 0.001% could use an emerging empire to topple the established ones. The Axis powers of WW2 finally weakened the old European empires to the point the US empire could easily be put in place with little public or political awareness. The Marshal Plan and the United Nations being billed as the road to inevitable peace… once China and the USSR were contained, infiltrated and subdued to meet the cheap resource/labour requirements of the 0.001% capitalists.
Add in the current infighting between the long-view generational “old money” Rothschilds/Rockefeller-class and the impatient “new money” Soros/Gates/Koch-class and you have a nuclear powder keg, with idiots like Soros throwing regime-change/refugee matches at any fuse he can find.
Wikileaks and Snowden represent a millennial sub-class in the spy-spook industry that also knows the nukes will be pointed at the sitting-duck facilities they work in. The leakers are smart enough to know the only way to get those nukes pointed elsewhere is to make the NSA/CIA spying establishment impotent. Think fragging, but instead of killing the brainwashed officers, they are killing the system by exposing its secrets to public scrutiny. Spying when everyone knows you’re doing it… is not spying… it’s being stupid
When patriots are no longer willing to be cannon fodder or simply follow psychopathic orders, the empire fails.
I think your right on the.001% Rothschild/ Rockefeller class against their .001% puppets. Your whole summation makes perfect sense. I also think the Roth cabal was behind the Brexit, for simalar reasons. And you last sentence is the key, to our salvation.
But they are in control of the money and Food Supply.

I actually think that by ‘The Gods’ was meant the real Gods, and they first make the Roman Emperors mad before they (the Gods) destroy the Empire
Don’t you believe in Gods Nice Try ?
Loki is dancing a jig. :)
Bluntly, no I don’t believe in “Gods”. Outside of myth and religious dogma, there is zero concrete evidence to support the premise. Only the “proof” is that there is a near-infinite “unknown” for humans to fill with stories with some grain of fact or natural phenomena that the ancients couldn’t explain in the middle of it.
I also know that acting morally is not predicated upon having some religious or metaphysical belief system. Do children (and adults) need to understand right-from-wrong? Absolutely. Do they need to be brainwashed into believing some religion/metaphysics, before they have the mental ability to form their own opinions, to ensure such morality? Absolutely not. In fact, it is my experience that religion too often has an inoculation effect, excusing immoral behaviour under cover of “confession/forgiveness” or claiming some evil inherent in the “other’. Onward Christian Soldiers, if you will.
The universe is awe-inspiring in its own right, no need to carry on with the uninformed conjurings of ancient (and not so ancient) cultures. The universe is also completely natural, which becomes ever more understood as science (not scientism) steadily pushes back the boundaries of ignorance.
It was as much the lead in their pewter drinking vessels and cookware as the psychopathy of power (re: Lord Acton) that made the Roman Emperors and aristocracy mad. And they used mercury and arsenic as well, as medicine and in paint, so “mad as hatters” applies too.
That said, there is 96% of the universe we know nothing concrete about beyond being able to observe the energetic and matter properties affecting the 4% we can “see”. Could this 96% be what ancient “Gods” were made from in the imaginations of long-dead humans? And could this Dark Energy/Matter have some Shmoo-like properties, conforming to the mental constructs of the life-energy we humans embody? To borrow an old rebuttal, “And man made God in his own image”. As Lennon said, “Imagine there’s no heaven… it’s easy if you try…”
While human attention and intention have been well demonstrated to have energetic effects, altering the randomness of random number generators is a far cry from “The Secret” or similar “just believe” religious/meditative models.
In short, the infinite unknown is still mostly unknown, But That Is OK . There is nothing to fear, other than the fears we invent for ourselves. Or more relevant to any rational discussion, Fears that our leaders (religious, political, military) invent and exploit to control the masses. The more belief “options”, the greater the confusion in the masses to be exploited.
The three most freeing belief words in the universe “I don’t know”. Let go the fear.
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
Dune, Frank Herbert
“Do children (and adults) need to understand right-from-wrong? Absolutely.”
How do you tell right from wrong?
When you give yourself an honest answer, you will know why ancient peoples created religions. And why the modern nihilistic man is bent on its own destruction.
@backward: Ah, the all-purpose, anti-atheist nihilist card. Sorry, raised Lutheran, so know both sides of that ideological street.
Read intellectually, not as a believer, in the Bible, many things like slavery, wives and children as property, etc. were perfectly “right” in the societies where/when the writers lived. In any modern society, these ideas are unequivocally wrong. And yet they remain in the Bible, if softened to read women should be submissive to their husbands. Bottom line, right/wrong is not absolute and trying to strictly apply ancient scriptural standards gets you Saudi Arabia or too many fundamentalist Christian sects (cults?) to name here.
While ancient religious icons are held as the originators of the religions, most did not actually create the religions per se. Their followers, often much later, did that work. Most current versions of religions were (and still are) created to instigate and maintain power and wealth. It is no wonder the ruling class in any culture adopted them. Every new generation of power-mad leader finds it convenient to ride the ancient coat-tails alleged to have been divinely inspired or directly give.
A careful reading of the Parables and Beatitudes reveals the Biblical Jesus was a socialist, not a capitalist. A pacifist, not a warmonger. The major Christian countries today? The US/UK/EU… and who drops the most bombs, invades the most countries, overthrows the most foreign gov’ts, corporately/economically devastates foreign societies? Ya, real followers of Christ… NOT!
And where’s your vaunted religious “right/wrong” there? Oh, that is only for “little people” too unintelligent to understand such grand and subtle concepts. It is militarized religious belief, bastardized and misused that has killed far more than any other form of brainwashing.
I can’t let your implication that the American Empire was not established until after World War II go unchallenged. In my opinion it was really born in 1895 in the Wilcox Rebellion in the Sandwich Islands, when U.S. Marines were sent ashore to assist sugar planters seizing the kingdom. If you read William Appleman Williams you will see a clear picture of how the State Department has always been supporting big business in the sleaziest possible ways in foreign countries.
@ Procopius: Yes, Manifest Destiny (and expansionism in general) set the US firmly on the road to Empire long before WW2. But it was Bretton Woods and having the only unscathed manufacturing economy that essentially put the US$ as the primary international reserve currency, supplanting the European currencies that held that honour before the WW’s.
Rothchild said whoever controls the currency controls the empire.
America right now is trapped in a mass hallucination. Everyone of all political persuasions knows that the president and media are locked in a power struggle, that the military has been thoroughly pillaged by defense contractors, and that distrust and anxiety about the state of the country are at all time highs. Since mid-2016, we have all started to realize how little remains of the public good. But we continue to be trapped in an illusion that we are still a massive power and can simply “pull through” the current state of things, as if it is a little speed bump rather than the beginning of the end.
I agree with the Saker. All that is needed is a single, concrete military failure for that hallucination to be totally shattered. John Michael Greer described precisely how this can happen in his book “Twilight’s Last Gleaming.” If the American military were to fail, the illusion of a united country would dissipate before our eyes and the country would be gone within weeks — either in a peaceful breakup or a violent one, depending on how Washington would attempt to respond.
Yes, thought I believe thesaker misses the point in why USA cant start a war with North Korea, sure NK has the numbers to seem impressive, but thesaker has repeatedly said that numbers doesn’t matter, at least they are not the most important.
I dont believe there is any doubt that NK would collapse pretty quickly under a combined NATO/SK offensive, however the problem is not militarily, it is demographic and social. if NK were to collapse, that would mean that 20 million NK citizens would suddenly be SK citizens, and South Korea would need to feed, educate and assimilate 20 million North Koreans. This is of course an impossibility.
The South Koreans are notoriously racist, even against minor cultural variation within their own people, an influx of millions of North koreans would destabilize the entire society. It would simply not work, soon after the North collapsed the South would collapse, this is why the South unification doctrine works towards “slow integration”. A military victory over the north is something they couldn’t afford. Even if the North army was like UAF or Iraqi Armed forces and ran at first shot.
And if the NK army did not run at first shot, then perhaps the South would have two nuked cities, hundreds of thousands dead in missiles and artillery barrages with chemical weapons and biological weapons, they would have millions internal refugees and millions North Koreans refugees and the responsibility of 20 million North Koreans whose state just collapsed under the SK war machine.
I don’t believe that NK would collapse pretty quickly. It is a highly militarized (military service is 10 years!), homogeneous, indoctrinated and tough society. These people are extremely hardened and robust, imagine all the hardships they have gone through, famines in the 90’s, unheated appartments with very cold winters etc. To think that they would run at the first shot is very unsubstantiated and hubristic. I would go as far to describe NK as a modern Sparta, a pure warrior nation. NK is the most sanctioned nation on earth, yet they have come up with nuclear weapons. It is a destabilizing achievement, but a remarkable one.
What about China and Russia? Would they just stand by? If the weak China of 1950, having 20 years of civil war and war with Japan behind it, dared to intervene, why would the superpower of today do nothing? It is not at all in the interest of China or Russia to have a pro-US puppet regime and US-troops on the Yalu river.
Your comment makes NK look harmless and it is exactly this kind of thinking that leads to catastrophic failure.
“North Korea’s paranoia is well founded.”
I strongly recommend the short attached article below for the most balanced account of NK’s posture I have seen.
на самом деле все очень просто – достаточно нескольких ядерных зарядов в разлом Сан Андреас и западное побережье будет помножено на ноль – так что выбирать вам, хотя возможно Голливуд это и заслужил
actually it’s very simple – just a few nuclear warheads into the rift of the San Andreas and the West coast will be multiplied by zero so that you choose, but maybe Hollywood have deserved it
In the 50’s, and 60’s, Soviets designed 50 megaton nukes that would be placed at the bottom of the ocean floor, right off the U.S. East and West coasts, by submarine. Upon detonation, a horrific, giant tsunami would devastate the entire said coasts. And the problem for the U.S., in such a scenario, is that 80% of its population centers are on these said coasts.
The plan was abandoned because a very leading General in the Soviet Military thought the devices were ‘too cannibalistic’. These were his exact words.
NK has sufficient power to make a lot of trouble for US and everybody, and why should their neighbours Russia and China stand still as zombies just looking for their borders to be even more jeopardized.
I imagine especially Russia would shoot US nukes down if they were fired against NK. China has nukes pointing at US mainland.
NK is not that easy.
I don’t think shooting nukes down is a real thing. That “anti-missile missile” is purely stealing money, the hardware doesn’t work. Period. Let me repeat, it simply does not work. Even when they put radar transponders in the (single) target warheads in the tests it doesn’t work. However there probably are other levers Russia and China could use to punish the Empire for starting a war, and they might not even have to risk retaliation.
Your right, shooting down modern Nuclear missiles is next to impossible. Its like shooting a bullet with a bullet.
Take the latest heavy ICBM Sarmat of Russia. It goes Mach 5, can change directions in-flight, and has 10-12 MIRV’S re-entry vehicles. Not only this, but it doesn’t need to go over the predictable course, over the North Pole either. It can take any course around the globe, and reach it’s destination.
One of these alone can destroy a country the size of France, or a U.S. state like Texas.
It’s delusional. And awesome.
Even if say, Nato/U.S. launch a pre-emptive strike on Russia, they have a nuclear doctrine called ‘The Dead Hand’, which means their Strategic Missile Forces operate independently of central command, and will launch all ICBM’s immediately. On the surface of Russian nuclear missile silos, is a system , a super-heavy duty machine gun platform that will fire off 30,000+ rounds of heavy caliber, medium to high altitude distance. In essence, it will saturate the sky above it with a mountain of lead, destroying any would be incoming missile.
This is the new generation of measures the Russian Federation has mastered. I say good for them.
Three things you don’t do in warfare, 1-Go up against Russia, 2-Go up against Russia, 3-Go up against Russia.
You said……” I don’t believe there is any doubt that NK would collapse pretty quickly under a combined NATO/SK offensive”
How quickly did North Vietnam collapse when besieged by the US and a host of allies?

Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to meet with Turkey’s President Erdogan in Moscow over the next two days. Although ties were re-established last year after a period of deep tension, do Moscow and Ankara see eye to eye on key issues such as Syria?
Leaders of the European Union are gathering for a summit that will debate the future of the bloc. The summit is also expected to attack the protectionist policies of Donald Trump. Alexander Mercouris, editor-in-chief of The Duran, joins the show to discuss the importance of the summit.
As the US and South Korean militaries stage massive simulated invasions of the North, China has floated a diplomatic proposal to decrease tensions. Activist and political analyst Hyun Lee, joins Brian.
“America right now is trapped in a mass hallucination.”
I don’t think that’s true. I’ve spoken with hundred+ people about economics in the last year, privately, and none of them are really believing any hype about anything. That the banking industry is based on hot air is almost universally understood. Everybody that owns stocks gets it. Literally everyone. And they are all planning to pull out just before it all collapses.
Anyone actually paying taxes over 10K in the US definitely understands the problems, they all understand that their pensions are going to buy bread, maybe, and have no idea what to do about it. They’re buying small acreages outside of town, storing food, whatever. Among those who actually pay more than they get, I contend there are few delusions.
>> And they are all planning to pull out just before it all collapses.
You need 2 to tango, er, to trade. ‘Pulling out’ of a stock market means selling your stocks to someone else. If everyone is selling, no one is buying. No buyers means no pull out, but write off or at best selling them at really really discounted price. Junk price.
That is the problem of owning assets with 0 utility value. At least you can live in a house, milk your cows and use gold bars as fancy paper weights. With ‘stocks’, well I guess you can eat those paper statements, fiber rich diet is good for bowel movement.
Ah yes, the “greater fool” system… musical stocks, seeing who gets stuck holding the stock when the tune stops and the price goes down and stays there. The hallucination is that anyone you talk to is “too smart” to get caught, or they believe “it’s different this time”.
The most common trigger? The term is “margin call”… all the smartest guys in the room that bought stocks/etc. on margin (basically putting down 10 cents for every dollar of stock bought) on the premise stocks always go up… especially when the high frequency trading algorithms and shadow banking fixes are kicked in Friday afternoon about 2:00PM to pump the market before close.
But then one day some big traders get caught out and can’t pay for the margin when they need to sell and stocks go quickly WAY down and stay there… the trading house or investment bank says “we still want our margin money”. The traders start selling other less-leveraged stocks etc. to cover the margin, even if losing money. Now replicate this over a few hundred or thousand smartest guys in the room and you’ve got a problem. And since the investment/banks operate on the premise that only a vanishingly small % of depositors will ask for their money at once, a bank run big enough to cover massive margin calls depletes reserves quite quickly… now not only is the stock market crashing, there’s a run on the banks and it’s 1929 all over again… or 2008 on steroids.
And how did the banksters get out of the 2008 debacle… by printing (sorry Quantitative Easing) $80billion (yes with a B) per month ever since… the US Fed, EU and Japan central banks have taken turns, but it has been pretty steady for nearly 10 years (Japan started before 2008)
The funny thing about gold is the 0.001% and banksters can agree what it’s worth, they just don’t want common folk or central banks holding it as reserves. Now why might that be? Agreed, ya can’t eat gold, but you can probably barter some for something to eat.
Sorry, no fiber value, stock certificates haven’t been printed in many decades. Kinda difficult to wipe your butt with electronic zero’s and one’s .
“As of 2016, the Federal Reserve Board requires an investor to fund at least 50% of a security’s purchase price with cash. The investor may borrow the remaining 50% from a broker or a dealer.
Not great but better then 10%. There ar better instruments now for going bust — like happened with the housing bubble (and then the government bails out the big players and puts in more austerity).
None of the hedges are worth anything if there aren’t enough people who want to buy them — and that’s true of metals, etc. too. What might happen is there are a few very rich people who can sit for a time and buy stuff for a song, figuring prices will eventually go up again — but they might not live that long if the system crashes, or if recovering from a crash involves re-monetizing, confiscatory taxes, etc.
An investment bank is typically a private company that provides various financial-related and other services to individuals, corporations, and governments such as raising financial capital by underwriting or acting as the client’s agent in the issuance of securities. An investment bank may also assist companies involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and provide ancillary services such as market making, trading of derivatives and equity securities, and FICC services (fixed income instruments, currencies, and commodities).
Unlike commercial banks and retail banks, investment banks do not take deposits. From the passage of Glass–Steagall Act in 1933 until its repeal in 1999 by the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act, the United States maintained a separation between investment banking and commercial banks. Other industrialized countries, including G7 countries, have historically not maintained such a separation. As part of the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 (Dodd-Frank Act of 2010), the Volcker Rule asserts some institutional separations of investment banking services from commercial banking.
We all know what the establishment propaganda says “banking’ is and was.
Actually, many developed nations’v banking systems did, if less formally, separate deposit/retail from investment/insurance banking, but the boundaries were incrementally reduced where the regulations requiring it were not explicit. Banks that failed on the universal model… failed, so people avoided them wherever possible. The US/Bretton Woods/IMF/etc. system was predominant in world economics/banking, so even though Glass-Steagall did not directly apply anywhere without such laws, the impact of non-separation was not as widespread we see now.
“G7 had no separation”… not quite: Japan and UK notably separated banks until the 1980/90’s (how coincidental!). The EU essentially adopted the German/Swiss universal model, with Brussels pushing any remaining separation countries in the EU to follow suit.
Bottom line, abolishing Glass-Steagall removed the few remaining regulatory barriers (it had been mostly gutted long before Slick Willy Clinton et. al. finished it off) which set the stage for the Sub-Prime Mortgage Scam and the inevitable (and well forecast) 2008 Crash. I was reading articles in 2002-3 about the zero-interest/low-zero-down mortgages being given, which predicted that when the first of these 5-year mortgages came due, if the market even flattened a bit, a correction was inevitable. The fact that these flawed mortgages were then covertly packaged in with AAA-rated investment instruments/derivatives and unconscionably flogged world-wide shows the hazard in essentially unregulated “universal” banking. What would have been a serious (deserved) US-market correction became a major international crash involving many who didn’t know about the junk paper maliciously hidden in AAA-rated derivatives…
The merchants of doubt have been hard at work casting “academic uncertainty” on the link between unfettered universal banking (couched in those trade deals they have rushed to enact) and the Sub-Prime Mortgage Scam/2008 Crash. More black is white, Debate 101 obfuscation in any news site or comment section they can find.
In simplest terms, separation of retail/deposit banking from investment/insurance banking is the only way to prevent the speculators (management, stock, currency, futures, etc.) from gambling the house/bank deposits (not their house/deposits, your personal house/deposits) in any way they like. So retail bank depositors are unwitting participants in whatever level of risk-taking the universal banks wish to engage. My guess is, if depositors wanted to play in the stock etc. markets, they would do so or buy investment instruments. And since even retail banks are essentially “legal” Ponzi schemes…
This is the basic truth obscured in all the jargon blue quotes as fact, when in reality, it is less than theory. A good theory will predict the outcomes… economic theory (Keynes, Chicago School or Austrian, etc.) has a dismal track record, having been consistently “surprised” at serial bubbles, crashes and recessions/depressions.
So just keep doing more of same, it’s different this time. ZIRP/NIRP and printing $80billion per month for years on end.
Post-1929, the blame was put on the gov’ts for not bailing out the failed banks/corporations, and instituting Glass-Steagall tied the hands of the bankers. So in 2008, what happened? The gov’ts bailed nearly all of them out, and there was no Glass-Steagall (or even Dodd-Frank) … so where’s the difference? Literal $trillions in new, unsupported debt, artificially-strong/manipulated US$/stock markets and a Main Street recovery that isn’t. And an even bigger Bubble/Crash than either 1929 or 2008 in the offing. The only question is how long can the various players keep the current bubble/subterfuge from collapsing.
“This is the basic truth obscured in all the jargon blue quotes as fact, when in reality, it is less than theory. I have to wonder who you are reading — the stuff you say about me is not what I have been saying. First, I don’t buy into conventional economics, and certainly not Chicago or Austrian, which are fatally flawed, and Keynes was not that much better and missed a lot, such as the need to go well beyond just inserting liquidity in ‘good times’.
I support most of MMT, which is not predictive but descriptive of what actually goes on. Second, I strongly support most of Marxist theory, but also Minsky with his description of inherent instability, as well as some principles of circuit theory, and other heterodox economics. The so-called business cycle was deconstructed by Marx over a century ago, and Minsky, et al, describe the fundamental disequalibrium of market capitalism too.
To understand current finance and economics you have to listen to expert heterodox economists (Hudson, Kelton, Wray, Michel, Keene, and also bone up on Minsky, George, and others who were not indoctrinated into neo-classical nonsense), and it’s rather complicated stuff where one tends to get lost in the details and variations of theories and systems unless one is careful, and where there are many who get some things horribly wrong, such as Von Mises. Obscurantism is rampant in economics, largely because much of it is just ideology, and the result of people with bias because they are ‘invested’ (both senses) in a theory.
My impression at this point is that you don’t understand the competing economics or monetary systems all that well. Not that it’s easy, of course, with all the the myths and disinformation, as well as inherent uncertainty, and how most of it has been dissociated from the real economy (such as the BS about GDP, or fiat currency). Learning this stuff is like hacking your way through a jungle.
As for an economic system predicting the future, it’s worse than trying trying to predict the weather years in advance. It’s possible to find some principles and set up a system to deal with the chaotic occurrences, same as you have plans to deal with hurricanes or earthquakes, but you can’t predict the future. And speaking of weather, as climate disruption advances the economy will also be increasingly disrupted in unpredictable ways. None of these systems are stable. But most economic theories don’t even use advanced math — Keene talks about this, and how the economists and models mostly don’t go beyond first order calculus — which is what motivated him to create the Minsky computer program (unfortunately, my own math is too meager to follow much of the working detail in what he says, but I understand the general ideas), and I don’t think he even gets into the more advanced things such as tensor analysis or abstract algebras.
The entire field of prediction or making models with many non-linear variables is very difficult and involved, and not the sort of thing the brain is naturally good at in any rigorous way. It’s only recently that researchers discovered how people move into position to catch a high flying baseball — by moving to keep the perceived angle constant. They didn’t know that before. That implies that people trying to decide what a good investment is are not very good at it, and what I’ve been hearing lately is the most successful of them they try to focus not on maximizing profit but on risk management. But what are risks and how to evaluated them? R.D. Wolff has spoken at length of the folly of trying to develop a risk benefit analysis.
And this goes right along with people trying to decided what the risks vs benefits of war are: they don’t know. Wars do not go as planned, as top, competent, military people will tell you. I recently heard a quote form one the top boxers — after the first punch all your plans go out the window. This is one reason why war should be avoided — anything might happen. This is an area where real conservatism shines.
@ blue: Seriously… a long way to go to float yet more complicated and unproven theory. Any worthwhile complicated anything can be distilled down to a few salient conceptual points, otherwise the complication is to hide the facts, not expose or explain. The simplest way to assess the current situation is to see where the majority of the post-2008 debt has landed (gov’t/central banks and personal) and where the profits have landed (off-shore tax shelters, 0.1%, corporations). The tax-code of any country is complicated to ensure only those with the wealth and access to expensive tax accountants/lawyers can take full advantage and pay virtually zero tax. blue follows this path to be led around in circles… and he hopes readers will follow him to get no where but confused.
Readers can take the Tax Free Tour, don’t take my word for it. The process is complicated but the premise is simple… the wealthy/corporations keep profits by deliberately avoid paying their share of taxes.
A fundamental part of this scam is to break down any barriers between retail/deposit and investment banking systems, so the gamblers can literally reach into your bank account and use your money in the market casinos. Perhaps a fair exchange if some of the profits on deposits paid any depositor interest these days. If the banksters had to use their own money (as in Glass-Steagall days), they’d be much more cautious.
I doubt when the Rothschild/Kennedy/Bush-class were supporting Hitler’s rise they ever envisioned WW2 ending with weapons which literally threatened the continuation of human life on earth. Hiroshima and Nagasaki gave them the illusion that there could be such a thing as a limited WW3… recent developments resulting in the defeat of Clinton seem to indicate the 0.001% are realizing they too will not survive.
The human ability to catch a fly-ball has exactly zero to do with predicting the trajectory of any conceptual activity. I won’t go into a full exposition, but on this one I call total BS, a wrong analogy. The baseball catch is a simple solution which still involves a VERY complex set of neuro-muscular, hand-eye systems, which literally have nothing to do with the linear/logical part of the brain used to gauge the performance in the markets.
blue said: “It’s only recently that researchers discovered how people move into position to catch a high flying baseball — by moving to keep the perceived angle constant.” Close but no cigar… the actual “trick” is for the fielder to position which minimizes the apparent acceleration of the ball’s speed. Chapman called it Optical Acceleration Cancellation. In fact, even professional ball players can’t predict where a ball will land if they stay still. And “recently”? Try 1968…
I suggest blue should toddle over to zerohedge and read an interesting premise (not saying the math is 100% correct) which says it matters more when an investor jumps in that any other oft-quoted factor. Like blue claiming he has special investing/analysis skills and can draw investing advice from how to catch a baseball.
It may bear similar on consideration when a worker enters the job market is critical to how good a job he/she will get. The average early North American Boomer only needed a high-school diploma and the ability to get to work on time to land a job that paid well enough to own a house outright after 20 years plus still buy a car, raise a family, take vacations and save at a rate of 5%/year. On one wage. The late Boomers needed two paychecks. Most Millennials? Dream on.
“blue follows this path to be led around in circles… and he hopes readers will follow him to get no where but confused.”
If I wanted to confuse people I would not have provided links to the material from the experts — but I would not waste my time with that in any case.
BTW Optical Acceleration Cancellation was from 1968 — the latest research I mentioned is from few years ago, and was done because it had still been understood
“If we ask real fielders how they knew where to run to catch a ball, they may not respond with, “Well, I simply adjusted my relative field position to keep the tangent of the vertical optical angle to the ball increasing at a constant rate.”
You think you know things you don’t, and then criticize me personally when I try to give information.
— but that wasn’t the point anyway and you utterly missed what I was talking about, which was the difficulty in a person making a prediction by intellectual theory.
“Like blue claiming he has special investing/analysis skills and can draw investing advice from how to catch a baseball.”
It’s was an analogy, and an illustration of how predicting is difficult, and how we don’t understand much, even now, about how the brain processes information and humans behave (which leads back to the dumb assumptions of earlier economic theories, such as independent, rational, actors..
I provided some sources to learn about this stuff — sources I’ve been learning from for about ten years, which gives information you apparently know next to nothing of, and which Zero Hedge and Tyler Durden doesn’t understand either — the heterodox material. Don’t take me for an ignoramus.
Forget about it. It’s a bunch of ad hominems from you now, as you accuse me of trolling. You can’t hold a civil discussion.
I’m done. Don’t expect any more responses from me. I won’t waste any more time or energy with you.
Since I was both a young physicist on his way to a good engineering school, and also an avid baseball player, who used his brains to play way beyond his physical abilities, I might very well have given the description of how I moved to catch a flyball that you give above. :)

Please tel us more.
Michael Hudson starts the list and his book Superimperialism, written in 1972 but published the following year, is not the least bit dated now, 45 years later. michael-hudson.com Hudson has the most accurate and the most complete analysis there is.
Minsky, explained the Minsky Moment as a systemic flaw that, IIRC, is built-in the more one tries to make a jittery system more stable with more-of-the-same. Specifically, financial derivatives provide a false send of safety, but really just postpone the collapse and make for bigger collapses. He gets mentioned from time to time on zerohedge.com but the scope of Minsky’s analyses is about 1/100 as broad as Hudson’s, and also Minsky doesn’t offer any clues for timing the collapse.
I don’t recognize the other fellows you listed. Perhaps you could give a little more info about them ? Full names, a web site if any of them have one? A little bit of a head start on a Google search could avoid us going down dead-ends.
You mentioned MMT without giving the full name. That’s Modern Monetary Theory, and it’s core to the analyses of Dr. Michael Hudson.
Stephanie Kelton and Randal wray are both at UMKC — blog at http://neweconomicperspectives.org/
You can also find Bill Black, and others there.
But you are well off to google the names because they are found in other places worth looking at. Videos of lectures, conferences, and even some courses they gave, and text material. These people are very heavy hitters, professionally.
Michel should have been Bill Mitchell, at http://bilbo.economicoutlook.net/blog/
Australian, as is Steve Keene, http://www.debtdeflation.com/blogs/ and his main book is Debunking Economics (PDFs exist you can download)
Another guy to look up is Warren Mosler, who was foundational to what they call MMT now.
George is Henry George, after which Georgian economics is named, and did a lot of work on the rentier class, and there are some sites about his work. I can’t recall all the others I’ve looked at, offhand, but the Wikipedia article http://moslereconomics.com/ and other sites found searching on that term will give names, links and info (there is a huge amount — more than I can wade through). RD Wolff has written a number of books, has some courses on line, and a PDF of Wolff and Resnick’s [RIP] book ~Economics: Marxian versus Neoclassical~ can be cadged off the web one place http://korotonomedya.s3.amazonaws.com/Richard_Wolff_and_Stephen_Resnick_-_Economics-Marxian_vs_Neoclassical.pdf
Econ 305, Lecture 01, Intro from Resnick
Advanced & Applied Marxian Economics (Session 1) – Richard D Wolff
He also has a crash course somewhere and much more materail scattered around.
I’m too poor to buy printed books, but I’d buy these if I could.
Resnick also did a course on Marxian Economics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXiLHTpxdgw (I think this is only one part)
One starts getting into this and suddenly finds there are dozens of people to read — just the heterodox ones, not to mention to more classical ones. Marx went through a slew of authors in the process of writing Capital, so as to understand what the field was at the time and who said what. (Oh, Yeah — Marxism: look up David Harvey and ‘Reading Capital’ lectures.
https://www.heterodoxnews.com/HEN/home.html (Some free stuff sometimes, + links to organizations)
http://www.monetary.org/ gets some things badly wrong but has some interesting ideas, for when looking for other alternative views and is better than Von Mises sites which mostly just toss in complete nonsense, I think. Their criticism of MMT by Huber does not hold up, but it’s good to read it anyway and find the flaws.
But I think Keene is the best and most competent critic of MMT, even while not that far away in many things.
Too much for me to remember all of even what I have managed to explore a bit of, which is tip of the iceberg. If one can manage to digest most of what Hudson has said, though, that’s a great deal of the meat, and other material can be delved into as it comes up and time permits.
Dropped a few lines.

Heterodox economics refers to schools of economic thought or methodologies that are outside “mainstream economics”, often represented by expositors as contrasting with or going beyond neoclassical economics. “Heterodox economics” is an umbrella term used to cover various approaches, schools, or traditions. These include anarchist, socialist, Marxian, institutional, evolutionary, Georgist, Austrian, feminist, social, post-Keynesian (not to be confused with New Keynesian), and ecological economics among others. In the JEL classification codes developed by the Journal of Economic Literature, heterodox economics is in the second of the 19 primary categories at:

Blue, Thank you very much for this information. You really delivered !
One of my biggest regrets is that I didn’t know about “Superimperialism” the book, until a few years ago. I’m going to dig up the writers you mentioned. I’m always looking for the blockbuster item I never heard of – and should have. I wonder, though, how the economists from the 1800’s could be as relevant today. Could it be that large parts of the “finer point” analyses are moot for now because we are in a rentier (i.e. oligarch) economy, as Hudson pointed out in his previous book, “Killing The Host” ? Gotta go read. Thanks again.
One site I forgot to mention is http://www.levyinstitute.org/
who does a lot Minsky — 26th Minsky conference coming up April 18 & 19, and a Minskt seminar June 10-16.
“Financial economist Hyman P. Minsky was a Levy Institute distinguished scholar from 1990 until his death in 1996”
Wray is a fellow there, and I think Kelton studied there as well.

With all due respect, that’s your hallucination right there.
I have seen it too. You don’t have to have private chitchats with the rich to figure out that everyone knows the collapse is coming. All the bestsellers in the Economics section of American and British bookstores are about how to survive it. The New Yorker ran a nice article last month about the Silicon Valley folks and their billion dollar escape plans to New Zealand. The hallucination is that you believe you’ll be able to “pull out just before it all collapses”. As the other commenter says, pull it out to where? If a positive feedback loop propels the collapse through the economic system, then what happens when you get to New Zealand? (In case I am not driving it home well enough: why aren’t their bug-out palaces in China or Russia?)
We don’t realize that, not just at an economic level but at a very terrifying personal level, that every single one of us is already holding a bag, and the collapse has already begun. Our hallucination is that when we wake up tomorrow, we can continue our business as usual, until someone tells us that it’s time to take the next step.
Those who are truly awake have already escaped to locations that are better prepared, and the real winners on the planet are the heroes of this blog: China, Russia, and Iran. Because they are socially prepared for this contingency and have been for a while. They will give no quarter to escaping elites. Other countries, or perhaps I should say polities, need to be prepared to follow their model.
Delusions are everywhere. Delusional that people can pull out of the stock market. Where will they put their money if it is worth anything? Or that they can grow their own food. Try it and see how much time you have to spend and how little you really know how to do it. The Saker also continues his Trump delusion–that only Trump knows what to do and can save us if not for those nasty neocons! Sorry, Saker, Trump is a gangster capitalist and a TV entertainer. He can’t save anyone.
I had not got that impression about Saker, but that he is looking for some alternative to almost certain disaster, and that Trump is the best we have at the moment — although I may be reading in that interpretation because that’s my own take on it.
“Everybody that owns stocks gets it. Literally everyone. And they are all planning to pull out just before it all collapses.” Quote.
But in 1971, Nixon severed the U.S. dollar’s last tie to old. From then on, we were free to take as much debt as the world would lend us … and print s much money as we needed to finance it.
The most important test of paper money is whether it facilitating real, per capita economic growth. And on that score, the evidence is overwhelmingly negative. Measured in ounces of old, per family income in the U.S.A. has declined since 1971, retreating back to 1950s levels, despite advent of two-income families. Household earnings, in real terms, have fallen 30%-50% since gold standard was abandoned.
However, the more we print, the less each dollar is worth. Eventually, our creditors will no longer accept the dollar. When the global financial industry loses faith completely in U.S. dollar, it will look for another sound of currency. But what happens when people realize their paper claims are worthless?
source: Poter Stansberry – America 2020 the survival blueprint.
> I agree with the Saker. All that is needed is a single, concrete military failure for that hallucination to be totally shattered
And that is exactly, what Trump in Saker’s words creates, by forcing Pentagon to come out with anti-Daesh plan it is allegedly doomed to fail.
“Free nations are the best vehicle for expressing the will of the people — and America respects the right of all nations to chart their own path. My job is not to represent the world. My job is to represent the United States of America. But we know that America is better off, when there is less conflict — not more.”
How cute. On second thought, Trump is quite correct as to the job he has been assigned: That of representing the US; not the world. Which amounts to continued imperial rape, enslavement, and mass murder.
Bravo, succinct and to the point.
Talk is cheap.
Giving the sheeple some crumbs the first half year to maintain the illusion, and then the lies start to pop up.
You left out Israel from analysis, therefore without the Elephant in the Room, the analysis is incomplete.
Connect the dots to 9/11.
Slowly, slowly Israel is being isolated. Netanyahu didn’t get anything from Trump. He was instructed to stop the expansion. So, he is back to Putin again.
If Israel looks like an elephant to you, your room is really small.
You are dealing with a group of people of different races with one religion, considering their self as Gods and the rest as Slaves. They are hard to identify and impossible to defeat.
Islam and the muslims will be the last nail in the coffin of that wicked little evil called Israel. Such has been decreed in islam’s holy book and any student of Islamic eschatology is familiar with end time wars the trailers of which have already begun……..There is a good reason why islam is being demonised by the subservient jew controlled west and their propaganda presstitutes. its only a question time when something will give.
For the purposes of argument, if not quite literally, Israel and America are the same thing and both getting isolated in the same way and for the same reason. Israeli King of Kings messianic rule meet US hegemony. Same difference.
Saker, you nicely use the analogy of US ritual suicide. But really, when a nasty beast is dying it is not all suicide. There are a lot of countries crying praises while putting the boot into the US. And first among these is the UK.
The UK is working with all its historical guile and ruthlessness to repay the great disservice of US ‘gamesmanship’ during the two world wars that stole out leadership and empire. Yuan bonds floated here, dismantling or its EU vassal, dodgy Russian dossiers handed to Joe Biden by MI5, Julian Assange hosted in our country and given free reign, etc.. I believe we will lead the US to an unwinable war as a final knife in the back.
It wasn’t the Persians, or the Hittites, Germans, Gauls, Greeks nor his own hand that cost Julius Caesar his life. It was his old friend, Brutus.
Caesar was killed by his own Senate because he sold out Rome to the Jews. Nothing more, nothing less.
Salam bored muslim,
Look at it another way, the Anglo is finally divorcing the Zionist. But the Anglo is very, very scared, so he treading very, very slowly and carefully. The Anglo in disguise is also taking the help of Russians and Putin.
God Bless Trump, Putin and Obama.
Finally, there will be peace for both Jews and Arabs.
Yes, you are correct, because Israel , and the Judeo-Zionist lobby in the U.S., set U.S. policy, both internally, and externally.
Also, perhaps Putin will offer Netanyahu and his tribe the Pale of Settlement back.
Putin does like to patronize Netanyahu though. Its really funny to see. If Putin was a friend of Israel, as many assume wrongly, why does he have the Russian military fighting side-by-side with Hezbollah in Syria and with the Syrian government and army too? Heck, even the Iranians that are in Syria.
The pale of settlement is where the Jews went after they were chased out of western Europe (Germany), therefore they spoke Yiddish (a German dialect), by the way. It is not in Russia but in the former Poland-Lithuania (part of Ukraine).
Anyway, Pharisaic Talmudism (Roth-child mob, and its private organized crime colony in the Levant) until recently, controlled the whole miserable western system (+ Sunni Islam to a great extent). I wonder how much influence the counterfeit coiners of the Roth-child mob have in ‘communist’ (semi-totalitarian, fascist?) China, though. China (e.g. GMO and other western crap) is not Putin’s Russia.
Thanks, I stand corrected. So, if the Ukraine, Crimea and portions of Eastern Europe were at once known as the Kingdom of Khazaria, it explains Victoria Nuland and her ilk(race) causing a coup in the Ukraine.
Perhaps the international Jews want their old glory days back, when Khazaria was once theirs.
It would seem that they are employing a gigantic double envelopment maneuver to achieve gains in Eastern Europe, Russia, while at the same time perpetrating their Greater Israel project.
I’m, sure some wise Russian officials see something afoot here. Its not all for nothing, nor coincidence. Russia, her people and church/mosques have been victimized by these nefarious folks for far too long. Never again.
Yes Iran is in Syria, and as well as Hezbollah is in Syria too, beside being in Lebanon too. No longer, Israel can go into Syria Airspace, without Putin’s approval.
Iran is in Iraq too, and if Netanyahu keeps it up, Iran will be in Egypt with General Sisi’s approval.
Netanyahu has burned his bridges with both Democrats’ Presidents, Clinton and Obama thus burning his bridges with Democratic Party. He is now solely relying at the whims of Donald Trump. President Trump just called Netanyahu bluff about expanding settlements under the so called, “Two State Solution”. He basically, told Netanyahu to stop settlements, until I decide on Middle East Policy.
Netanyahu cannot make President Trump his enemy, and he left USA empty handed. So, he back to President Putin trying to find out what is Putin’s plan regarding Middle East and especially Iran.
As predicted Russia and Putin are already in Egypt with the approval of President Sisi. Iran will follow soon.
The death of empire takes a long time, even in the digital age.
The death of a Hegemon the size of the US seems even a longer demise.
If we say the death has been coming for 25 years, and we really noticed all the parts of it in the last 12 years or so, then the US as Hegemon has quite a ways to go before it passes.
If it actually can win in Syria and Iraq against ISIS, then there are still AQ to deal with. Saudi Arabia will continue funding as long as Iran is ascending in the region.
But for climactic ending, the war on ISIS will likely morph into the ISIS vs EU.
What irony to defeat the ME and NA caliphate threat and then lose all the European vassals in a war with hundreds of thousands of radicalized refugees and migrants seeded throughout the EU. All they need is a fatwa and guns and Europe will be submerged in blood and body parts from Scandinavia to Gibraltar.
The Hegemon will lose all relevance as NATO and the US will have no answer to the collapse of Western Europe and most of Eastern Europe as Islam rises like an express elevator.
Only Russia and Iran could help, and maybe China. The US would have to shut down most of the Empire’s bases and retrieve all its forward-based nukes. Its alliance would be overwhelmed. America would be isolationist, ending the empire and hegemony in favor of self-preservation.
This would be the climactic, fast end to the Hegemon.
If not, then the Liberal suicide in the West will gradually strangle the US.
It could take 20 more years.
And along the way, in five or ten years at most, the 500 Trillion Dollars in derivatives bubble will burst. Feudalism will be in place by design or by result. Modernity will cease in North America.
To save Europe, nuclear sanitizing will be used to eliminate ISIS. The US doctrine of destroying the village in order to save it will be the way of the war.
Meanwhile, Eurasia will be the other fortress.
American Dystopia seems quite probable if it goes forward alone, refusing multi-polar cooperation with Russia and China, and some sort of relationship with Syria and Iran.
The war the US started in Syria will be the pill too many on which they overdose.
Very good points. My respects.

Can someone tell me why Europe is relevant anymore. What benefits would China, Russia, Iran or for that matter anyone can expect from saving this resource starved tormentor of the past?
I think it is mostly wishful about US, she has resources, people, and a highly protected geographical location. Europe has none of that. The true color of Europe and being exposed since the refugees of their own making came to their “luxury branded” democracies. American system might fail: but Europe as a geographical location will go under as a whole. The EU, the catholic church, the Nazi leaning–though heavily disguised until now–are all begging for a total wipe out. People may not see it, but if we woke up tomorrow ans EU had gone missing no one will even think twice about it, except for perhaps a sigh of relief.
Sad but so true; in the past the saving grace of Europe was its high culture. That high culture rapidly lost when EU was forced on the commons. With the EU the individual countries lost their national identity and cultures.
Not all of us…, not by a long shot. And shoot we will if matters get too much out of hand.
Relax, a few million Muslims and others immigrants in Europe wont change Europe’s identity nor culture. Who do you think provided the man-power to re-build Germany after WW2? It was the ‘Muslim’ Turks. They integrated nicely into German society. And today, Germany has a thriving Turkish minority.
Immigrants are not necessarily a bad thing. Did you know Steve Jobs, who founded Apple Inc. (computers, I-Phone etc.)was the son of Syrian immigrants? The richest man in Mexico, Mr. Carlos Slim, was the son of Lebanese immigrants.
Think, and stay positive.
Wasn’t talking about immigrants…, our enemies are the NWO puppets in our midst who are responsible for the incredible mess everywhere.
Everybody outside Europe are willing to ride on a one wheel bicycle on top of a beach ball to get Europe.
I guess its because of the higher salary and welfare.
Saker is right US democracy is starting to look like a joke to its voters. However, in another country, India, a member of the BRICS, democracy is very much alive and credible to its voters:
Another blow to the empire is the overwhelming landslide victory of Indian Sovereignist PM, Narendra Modi, in Indian state Elections this weekend: His nationalist-sovereignist BJP won 325 seats out of 403 in the state of Uttar Pradesh, a state that has 200 million inhabitants (on the scale of the US, Brazil or the Russian Federation in population). It’s one of the poorest states in India, the majority of the people that voted for Modi were the poor and so called lower castes. The BJP also won a massive landslide victory in Uttarakhand (a strategic resource rich state of 10Milliom on the border facing China and Nepal), winning over 80% of the seats; the majority of the electorate here is lower caste and “tribal” (adivasis). Aw too bad for the idiotic Western narrative that Modi is anti-poor anti-lower castes garbage, actual Indians know better.
The ruling regional lower caste based parties were abandoned by the poor and the so-called lower castes, these parties were decimated by the BJP. Clearly Modi’s economic and social policies of looking after the interests of the poor and rural areas has been recognized by these groups and they have rewarded him. This is causing the scum in the Anglo Establishment Empire (and their inadvertent no-nothing useful idiots) heartburn from the conspicuous way the Western MSM TV News has tried to ignore this huge mandate. It is hilarious that those fools that parrot the Western MSM line that Modi is evil and against the poor and lower castes are so impotent to do anything about it other than appearing like fools and having to swallow sour grapes.
Most of India’s 5th column English language media are aghast (like other ignorant anti-Modi “geniuses” abroad) and are in self-denial (much like the western MSM’s reaction to Trump’s election). Aside from the majority of the poor and so-called lower castes voting for the BJP, over 90% of Shia Muslims voted for the BJP (the majority of Shia Indian Muslims live in Uttar Pradesh) due to its anti-Salafist stance and its firm commitment to economic tie ups with Iran.
Again the clueless outsiders thought that demonetization would hurt the BJP and Modi: They were clearly wrong! It only helped him because it gutted the money used by western proxies to cook the elections they way they wanted. The electorate voted for the BJP despite the inconveniences they endured (of course this was no surprise to us Indians, we understand our own culture and ethos)
With this massive mandate which portends of federal reelection for the BJP in 2019, Modi has more autonomy and power than ever in dealing with the “Empire”.
Will he track an independent course or a course in tune with SCO?
Or join in with Russia-China-Iran-Pakistan for a developmental Eurasian answer to poverty and anti-terror?
Democracy has always been a joke. Nothing more than the mob rules. Move 15 psychos into a town of 14 and have them all vote in rape. That’s a Democracy.
Whereas, a Representative Republic still looks good to me, combined with the Bill of Rights protects the powerless from the power. We just have to start standing up for that and fighting “Democracy” (weak green tea) tooth and nail. The Founders didn’t give us a Democracy. When asked, “So sir what did you give us?”, Franklin responded, ” A Republic, if you can keep it!”
When I read and hear people referring to America as a Democracy I realize to what extent the Communists have polluted our minds. I realize you are using Democracy in a good/honest way but our spears need to continually be sharpened in order to “keep it”.
Take this brother in good faith and effort as it was intended. And when someone says, “Democracy” tell them that’s what got us into this mess.
“When I read and hear people referring to America as a Democracy I realize to what extent the Communists have polluted our minds”
Normally I would proceed with my reading even though confronted with inane comments such as yours. But this one is so outrageous I have difficulty in guessing from which planet you hail from, obviously not from terra firma.
What the heck have the Communists done to your minds? I’m getting an inkling now, it goes like this: President Putting has ben accused of maladroit shenanigans galore lately, namely interfering with American Democracy, hacking and other misdeeds. Since he is a former KGB agent, hence a communist, he also has the power to pollute your minds. Got it, a hard one to crack!
Or do you have a better explanation?
If manofsorrows doesn’t have a response, then I do, and he’s right, the Myth of Democracy is what got us into this mess!
America was never intended to be a Democracy, and if you take the time to look, you will not see the word Democracy in the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of Independence.
You will also not see it in any of the State Constitutions.
But what does Article IV, section 4 say, “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government.”
That’s the Law!
Therefore since the word Democracy cannot be found, then the Democratic party is a defacto party, which is to say, just because it exists, that does not make it legitimate.
I read the situation here in India and Modi differently.
For one the BJP has always been one of the stronger parties. That it could win is no more surprising than stating that the winning party of the US will either be Republican or Democrat.
There is lots of evidence that US companies had involvement with the demonitization process, including Bill Gates. They knew in advance and were prepared for the experiment on the Indian People. A lucrative push to get many on board with digital currency and spreading such systems. Added benefit for people to desperately deposit their savings into the banks, giving them the means to cover their own corruption and losses with an influx of cash, and also making it easier to tax with negative interest rates if they so choose.
Including interesting pushes for Aardhar card uses for biometric information etc. The Indian people are essentially lab rats in an experiment for overseas digital money interests, Visa, Mastercard, the corrupt Indian bank, and Modi and his corrupt buddies having a heads up to take advantage of the situation and laundering their own black money early. Also being able to get their election campaign funds in order before the chaos ahead of opposition. In the end only a handful of crooks were actually caught in the scheme. The friends of the PM however, got away with it. While people take days off work to access their own money and grave economic problems resulting grounding near everything to a halt, businesses even turnung away customers because they have no chanfe to give them. You couldn’t buy samosas with a Rs. 2000 note. They were practically useless except for large purposes. This was no gois for the poor, many servants for whom Rs. 2000 – 6000 is a month’s salary.
Add in the interesting timing of doing so during the Hindu wedding season and this limits purchases of gold jewelry, which it seems Modi and co ate desperate to curb with restrictions and necessitating Aardhar card ID etc. Why? Given Indians and Chinese and I think Russia too like buying gold a lot. Something that no doubt disturbs the US which relies on fiat petro dollar currency? Sounds to me like Modi either is in league with US interests or is a useful idiot who doesn’t understand economics when necessary given the demonitization debacle which ruined India’s growing economy and halting investments. But his friends and BJP supporters got the tip ahead of time. The digital currency push is still on to make people dependant on having all their cash in the hands of the bankers, and the party maintains power. So they git what they wanted.
There are other stories to tell as well, but that the BJP can win while being corrupt is not some surprising news any more than that either if the two corrupt parties in the US get voted in every cycle. Business as usual. Of course the BJP like the US Democrats are always ‘for the poor’.
India is neither for nor against the Empire. After all the empire is one of their number one customers, especially for jobs outsourcing. India therefore, and smartly, straddles the fence. The only thing that could push its buttons is of course anything to do with Pakistan, which India hates, and the Empire needs.
All I saw in your “take” is a lot of regurgitation of MSM and Indian English Language media talking points. All your points have been disproven by the simply fact that that people most inconvenienced by demonetization were the ones who overwhemingly voted for Modi despite their hardship due to the bungled implementation of demonetization. To understand this you have to have actual understanding of India, it’s (real) people, pedantically reciting the BBC and like minded ilk as well as the sour grapes of the brown Englishmen Delhi elite and their corrupt discredited millionaire Marxist allies ain’t going to get you anywhere in assessing India.
Why is it then that India has cast its whole lot with the U.S. and Israel? India is a good friend of the dastardly Zionist regime. It even gave Israel a ‘launch pad’ i.e., base for it in case it decides to strike Pakistan because of the ominous Muslim nuclear bomb. India , Israel and the U.S. work hand in hand to subvert Islam and Muslim nations. Its no secret.
Hindu nationalism is as dangerous as Zionism. Both India and Israel occupy lands(Kashmir, Palestine) that belong to their native peoples for eons.
The U.S. wants India to act as a bulwark against China, but this would only prove to be disastrous for India, as it in no way can out perform China in every aspect except maybe , cinema(Bollywood). By the way, Bollywood is very mush in love with Hollywood, and the upper crust, ruling elite if India desire and crave the western themed life and style to an outrageous degree.
Its almost like showing up at 2:00 am at the bar/party, which will be over at 3:00 am. It just doesn’t make sense.
Instead, India should engage in peaceful diplomacy with her neighbors, so that it can see itself integrated into the Chinese One-Road, One-Belt. It stands to lose so much, and could gain so much at the same time. This period in history will prove to be a harsh critic of India, unless India gets herself off ‘the high horse’ and make peace with Pakistan, and settle its disputes with China.
Time is of the essence. One -Road, One -Belt, or cheap Shishkapur type movies and ‘call centers’. India is also suffering a ‘brain drain’, because all its professional classes are leaving for life in the west. One look at an American hospital and one can see and question if India still has any doctors left in India, same goes for software and IT engineers.
Thus, Mr. Modi and his nationalistic party are actually doing a great disservice to India, in the medium, to long term.
Your analysis of India is even worse than that of the BBC or even CNN. I can’t take your snap opinions on India or Hinduism seriously when you take Bollywood so seriously.
Your silence on the fascist and vicious strains of Islam exemplified by Wahabism and Salafism is deafening. Your turning a blind eye to the Islamosupremacy imposed on religious minorities in most Muslim countries being the rule and not the exception shreds your credibility (the only exception being Syria).
Even though Iran is an ally of India (and has some of my respect), it is an open theocracy where Shia Islam is supreme and all other religious minorities are subservient, yet not a peep of criticism from you, on principle, on that, Why? Me thinks you are too used to the coddling double-talk of the British media that coddled and excuses away the supremacist impulses of Sunni Islam (to keep their Saudi and Pakistani client states happy) while demonizing the resurgence of India’s suppressed national character and ethos which is basically Hindu (there’s nothing you can do about it, it’s a reality that you’re going to have to lump, just like the West had to lump the fact that Russia is basically Christian Orthodox).
It just sounds hollow and laughable to hear/ read an apologist/ advocate of societies where Islam is given supreme status over other religions, such as yourself, criticize and winge about Hindu nationalism and “Hindutva”. This is akin to European settlers of North America accusing native Americans of stealing land and infecting white settlements with small pox infested blankets. It’s bit rich and audacious in its shamelessness (right out of the novel “1984”: accuse your victim of what you yourself are more guilty of).
This covering up of Islamic supremacy in Muslim countries, while condemning Hindu cultural resurgence, reeks of hypocrisy and, is ironically, originally, a propaganda brainchild of the Anglosaxon media aka “Empire” media.
Come on, you can’t be serious. Modi an enemy of the Empire!!! He is America’s best buddy in the region. After all modi’s job description is to keep the Chinese in check, plus ensure that US corporate interests get their pound from the massive Indian market. And of course there is BRICS,SCO, and OBOR to sabotage. Russia is interested in OBOR, Modi isn’t. Wonder who told him to stay away.
And then there is Modi who only last year signed the agreement with the USA , allowing them military access to all Indian bases.
So please don’t insult our intelligence with this rubbish of Modi bashing in on the Empire.
Modi has received the mandate of the poor and lower castes those are the facts: 325 seats out of 403 and winning 4 out of the 5 state elections contested. All other statements are inconsequential and evading the this huge slap in the face of those detractors that called him an elitist a castist etc. etc. the credibility of the detractors is in tatters. In addition, since this Modi victory the fake “honeymoon” the Western MSM has shown has come to an end and Western MSM has began a full court anti Modi slander campaign (making fools out of those, without a line of proof, call Modi an ally of the West).
Congratulations! If you hate Modi then you have something in common with MSNBC, The Council on Foreign Relations, and CNBC, doing their bidding and ironically it is you who are, in action, allied with Western MSM and the “Empire”.
Oh please raphee stop spreading lies about India giving the US access to Indian military bases. That’s really pathetic. The LEMOA agreement only allows for mutually supply of provisions for both the Indian navy at US facilities and US navy at Indian facilities. Stop spreading BBC lies on Sakers site, try to be accurate if your going to post something. I’m sure LEMOA is causing the expansionist land grabbing militarists in China grief (cry me a river), but it causes zero concern to Russia and Iran.
And by the way, Iran is not focused on OBOR is immediate focus is their joint venture with India in Chhabbar port and the joint Indo-Russian-Iranian North-South corridor: last Iran requested India accelerate Chhabbar project, to which India agreed, they will launch one year earlier than scheduled and Iran will waive the 1st year minimum container traffic requirements on India.
One thing I do see a possibility is that war is comming but not in the way most of this site foresee its genesis.
Indeed it seems headed that way. The monster of Wahabism that the Anglo/Zio/KSA unholy trinity have unleashed has the potential to destroy Europe and the US will obviously be in no position to help and indeed will look very silly when they keep on trying to convince everyone that the real threat Europe faces is Russia, Iran and Syria (who have killed zero Europeans.)
At that point Russia and her allies will look more and more like potential saviors of Europe rather than threats. Whether it will be worth their while to extend them a helping hand is another question entirely, but Europe better start learning how to say sorry, please and thank you pretty damned soon.
Hence, Russia is the natural ally of Europe and it doesn’t make sense to antagonize Russia for US
As usual an outstanding article on the present situation. Add to this that the whole economic situation is on the edge too ( https://thenextrecession.wordpress.com/2017/03/09/learning-from-the-great-depression/) and you know that there is no happy end for the Empire, with or without Mr Trump.
The level of idiocy reigning in politics, in economics and the cultural/moral spheres is unprecedented and deserves its end, the sooner the better.
My respect and love to you, Saker.
Cheers from southern France.
The Nazi establishment is finished. They might try some crazy things (contagious diseases, Fukushima-like nuclear environmental terror, whatever) and they’re heavily censoring everywhere, but they’re completely losing the Infowar [e.g. infowar as Alex Jones has been doing for decades] by the day now. It cannot be stopped.
As Iben Thranholm in her article The power of Lies; it is now all about what the truth is and what is a lie. Their lies are losing all credibility, power. http://katehon.com/article/power-lie
Dear Saker, please give US your thoughts om this:
What is it, or is there anything or anyone, that can prevent the Empire (from Washington and Tel Aviv) from using nuclear bombs on Teheran and a couple of other Iranian cities?
I am not talking about moral condemnation from other Western allies, ethics or fear of God.
If they spin their propaganda they can make the parts og the World that matter to them believe that IT is the only option.
Are the Russians going to retaliate? I dont think so for Iran…
This question, No matter how distant it seems, bothers me.
logic generally makes retaliation moot. if violence serves the logic, then, fine, so it must be. but retaliation hands the initative to the attacker – precisely what he wanted you to do. Retaliation is a way to lose. War is not a commercial exchange, it does not believe in justice, not in fairness, or tears, but only in the cold arena of logic and cunning.
If they do this, nothing prevent China or Russia to supply them with nukes & the vector the day after. Imagine the panic in Tel Aviv. And Washington saying that they regret, that they shouldn’t have nuke Teheran, but that Russia and China should backtrack and retake their nukes in exchange the US promiss to lift some sanctions on Iran and send them some teddy bears…and Russia saying “no way!”
it could push China & Russia to launch a pre-emptive strike on the US also. If they see that they are led by psychopats, why waiting to be the next one to be picked up?
Well, I don’t think that the US will use nukes on Iranian cities. And no, Russia will not start a war against the USA over Iran. As for nuclear strikes of some Iranian nuclear targets (even if they are not used for military purposes), that would be possible of the Americans go crazy and don’t realize the political fallout from such an action. In that case Russia would also not intervene militarily. Why? Because Putin was not elected by the Russian people to have Russia nuked in an exchange with the USA. By the way, the Iranians would never risk a war with the USA to help Russia. In the real world, NOBODY will volunteer to start a nuclear war.
“NOBODY will volunteer to start a nuclear war.
I sure hope this also includes the USA.
Strikes, especially nuclear, on nuclear targets would yield fallout beyond political. Don’t forget Fukushima. There is already way too much radioactive pollution and especially in the Middle East.
The opposition to the empire:Russia, China, Iran, only act unilaterally when and if attacked. The existence of NATO has always unified the US and Western Europe, i.e the destruction of Yugoslavia. This collaboration had increased the security of US and Europe from the beginning. Till this day, other nations attacked by NATO and US have fallen, Libya, Iraq are prime examples. To get back to my point, without collaboration of nations Iran, North Korea, China, Russia, it may take years, these nations will fall one by one gradually if the empire is allowed to continue to operate. The fact remains that the empire is allowed to create wars and havoc around the world, to me this is their prime objective and they are winning. The empire also does not fully use its own manpower with minimal damage, let alone fight at its borders. Instead, creates enemies within and from outside against the nations it is trying to destroy with minimal damage to its own. The empire whether it is the NWO/Neocons/globalists/US, it has perfected by force or by will in creating alliance to fight its wars, this is one of its strength.
Don’t forget, Iran has an enormous ballistic missile capability. Iran has every inch/centimeter of Israel under target. If Israel were to use nukes on Iran, Iran(with its extensive and hidden in the mountains arsenals) would literally destroy Israel in retaliation. Israel is too tiny to go on that path with Iran.
Upwards of 100,000 thousand missiles from Iran and Lebanon would shower Israel and doom it once and for all. So you see, its mutually assured destruction. The Iranians have taken all this into account. Plus, i’m almost certain that Iran has lots of weapons grade Uranium and/or Plutonium on hand along with the delivery missiles, that can be assembled in days for retaliation, just in case.
The Persians are ruthless and fierce people if you betray, backstab or attack them. If one is their friend, one can find no more of a honest, loyal and dignified people.
The U.S. and Israel would destroy themselves in the process of destroying Iran.
Iran is by now too big, too strong for attack. Its too late now. If the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran right after the revolution, along with say, Saddam Hussein, they would have had a shot, but now, no, its simply too late.
Iran has all the oil and gas fields in the Arab Gulf countries under missile target, so an attack on Iran would spell the end of Arab Gulf oil and gas refinement and producing facilities(40% of the worlds oil commerce) and the ‘petro-dollar’.
Also, Iran is an important and integral, if not vital, part of China’s One -Road, One -Belt, so China will simply not allow Iran to fall. China will get involved, one way or another.
Conclusion, Iran is safe. Even from a conventional, tactical attack.
Do you not think Israel is crazy enough to exercise the Sampson Option?
A certain number of things said here are debatable.
On the military aspect, the USA are very much ahead in Hybrid Warfare and creating quagmires for their competitors. If we have a look at Syria, the USA fought this war with other people, mainly the poor and the idiotic from the vast urban wastelands of the Middle East and Central Asia, as well as various collaborators from failed states (in Iraq this time, Daesh has many ex-Iraqi army people). Against these utterly expendable force, Russia had to mobilize essentially all she could spend outside of its core mission of protecting the motherland (in a peacetime setting, of course).
There is scant US presence in Iraq, but is this country really free ? Or is it even a country any longer ? Even the Ukraine will be left as a complete ruin : how is this hurting US interests ?
F-35s and such weapons platforms are the laughing stock of the world, but the US vast drone fleets (now partially roboticized for segements of their mission) is not. They get highjacked by the Iranians as a show of force but this only serves to highlight and correct deficiencies. Russia has had to reveal her electronic warfare capabilities, which may have been too soon.
War between First World countries is not going to be waged by humans on the battlefield anymore, because it follows the same evolution as in the industry and technology. The industries that can outperform the opponent in the proper mix of quality and quantity is eventually going to prevail. There is the whole question of how far we already are in these technologies. But as an analogy in WW1 tanks were already game changers in the art of warfare.
Then there is the question of AI, Deep Learning etc. of which we know very little, but on which we have to consider that the US is not lagging behind, at the least.
The US diplomacy is largely an honorific function, to give token of gratitude to friends and allies in the US political landscape. The fact that Alain Juppé (former french PM), François Hollande (current french president) and Emmanuel Macron (the System’s candidate fro the upcoming elections) are all Young Leaders from the French-American Foundation (see the complete list ehre : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/French-American_Foundation ) is not the result from overt “diplomacy” but of covert influences that are very real, and very potent.
Russia is very vulnerable to that as well, as you remind us regularly, and China has repeatedly to reign in these influences as well.
Finally, the world economy is globalized, and cannot convert back to national scale, from the poorest to the richest countries. The USA is the glue that holds this system together, and this is why its fiat, paperless money is still accepted.
So what we are seeing here is infighting inside of the power structure of Rome (with Europe as an anemic NATO-neocon-colonial-comprador Oriental Empire in the making, or more realisticaly half-aborted), but if Rome should ever collapse, then nothing guarantees it would not be an immediate all-against-all war of the surviving structures for the crumbs.
The USA would not win a war but neither would anybody else.
“There is scant US presence in Iraq, but is this country really free ? Or is it even a country any longer ? Even the Ukraine will be left as a complete ruin : how is this hurting US interests ?”
I agree in part with what you wrote. Every country is right now very vulnerable including the US, and form your comment above you seem to miss the forest from the trees or opposite? The US has spent trillions (just in Iraq) for no benefit. You just have to visit the US and will understand this, the middle class diminishing becoming poorer, that in part explains Trumps victory. This was supposed to be (iraqi adventure) an easy task, can you imagine how it will go for the US a war with one of the “heavy weights China or Russia?
Actually Oscar we don’t necessarily disagree. The Iraq wars have cost billions in other people’s money, or in the accepted sense of money. Obama created 17 trillion dollars out of thin air, so I don’t believe the USA lost any irrepleacable ressources fighting that war. A former article of the Saker explained how the US military in these operations are little more than some form of usefulness given to poor or redundant populations of the USA, up to the ineffectual and bloated top brass.
We can consider there is only one US military, or we can consider there are many military structures in the USA (the USA certainly operates this way). The post-911 wars were essentially colonial wars, in my book they didn’t fail at all since heroin production in Afghanistan is at an all time high, and Iraq has become a non-entity with highly destablizing influence on its neighbours and a strong US influence, both in the present government and in colonial auxilliaries (Deash, ISIS etc.)
Has the “First World” component of the US military been harmed because of these Middle Eastern wars ? The question is highly debatable, also because we don’t have a lot of information on this. But let’s use analogies from the economy to illustrate. Since 1991, the year of the First Gulf War, Wal-Mart crushed a lot of small-shop competitors. Then in the 2000’s Amazon became ten times larger than Wal-Mart (or in that ballpark anyway).
This made a lot of human workforce redundant. While this is not the same as the military, it illustrates how deeply the economy changed in these 25 years. Is the military going to keep as much manpower in 2017 as it did in 1991 ? No.
And this is also true for the bigger picture, as you correctly explained : “You just have to visit the US and will understand this, the middle class diminishing becoming poorer.”
Absolutely true, the “human-based” United States is in a state of deep neglect because it is no longer needed. This is also why it stopped to be relevant.
I will elaborate upon this on another reply to you following this one.
Second and last part of my reply to Oscar
Trump is the embodiment of the doomed “human-based” component of the USA. His campaign platform was entirely geared towards the anxieties generated by the present transition to another stage of the technological civilisation : immigrants, decaying infrastructure, impoverishment, mass-media (very “human-based”), political engineering (SJW, feminists, Soros guys etc.) and cliques (“swamp”) at the top etc.
He could actually afford some of his economic measures, because the multiplier of the “robot-based” economy (just to give it a name) is such that fake jobs could appear real (repairing or replacing bridges etc.). But this would only prolong the pain, as human-based economy is now a thing of the past. Just think of coal-based industry in the 1970’s & deindustrialisation to get an idea.
Being such a symbol of the “human-based” economy and all that goes with it (the whole US society in fact, with its myths, holidays, values etc.), Trump has to lose in such a way that it destroys the spirit of the members of the “human-based” component.
This is why this whole crisis exists in the first place. It is a symbolic battle, that serves a political purpose.
The “Deep State” has not changed a bit because it is the brain & nervous system that is attached to the body. The present-day USA is a creation of the Deep State or it would be something else entirely (perhaps even not be something at all). This is why it will not go away, while in eight years (fat chance) Donald Trump will be 78 years old.
The interesting thing to watch now is the fight itself and the emergence of the victor.
Since the economic change will be very drastic, I believe the turmoil must be as well, something in the ballpark of a combination of extreme financial & economic crisis, political extremism and more generally features of Hybrid Warfare with multipliers provided by internet (they know what you read, what you write – such as this text right now), but also other technologies as well (biotech, microdrones, who knows ?).
The emergence of the victor will only matter for the 10% of the population still somewhat needed to make the new society run (teachers etc. – nobody in his right mind would let a highly suspicious machine raise up one’s children), it might be something like a cult (political or religious… or other).
This seems all like science-fiction but we have to anticipate then we have to talk about these things.
Superb comments Aleks! Things to think about. Many thanks.
In just the last week a whole new Washington Narrative has sprung up nearly overnight about the non-existence of a Deep State: “Oh, that sort of thing only happens in places like Egypt and Pakistan”.
It reminds me of when I put some bird seed on the back deck railing the birds quickly come out of nowhere to gobble it up.
Very interesting comments. But what does ‘SJW’ mean? I see that a lot in comments.
“social justice warrior” sjw .. mod-hs
Here are a few SJW ( Social Justice Warriors). Do wear something to protect your ears. Lots of screeching. There are many more examples in youtube.
You provide some excellent food for thought. I think you may be on to something BIG through your concept of “Human-based” systems (social, political, economic) versus its anti-thesis, robotic-based (or highly automated) systems. Yes, it does look like that human-based systems are in process of being phased out by non-human ones. Trump can well be seen as the survival-driven response of human-based systems.
Here is some food for thought in my mental backpack with the caveat that what follows below is a mix of “rational” and “metaphysical” and thus will not be to many tastes.
1. The history of civilization shows that technological progress changes the economy, changes social relations, culture, politics, ethics, morals …. everything human. Nothing very original here, anyone who has read economic history or the German philosophers ought to know this.
2. Globalization was the modification of global society and the world economy to conform to the requirements of ever-larger and ever-growing scales of automated production: raw material from global sources; highly skilled labor and technologists to move all around the globe obliterating national demographics and national identities; and of course total freedom for capital to roam the globe and bend all and everything to its requirements.
3. From a moral, ethical, spiritual, or humanitarian perspective, technical progress has reached the devil’s boundary. This is simply my value judgment, others may have theirs. I see human future as very, very dismal, because to become the proverbial cog in the industrial machine is not my idea of a better human future. Nor does speaking in a politically correct language agree with my taste. And I see nothing “progressive” about becoming sexless, about losing my gender-identity, about urinating in transgender bathrooms. To those who have adjusted to these ideas, I simply say that it all proves how successfully humans have already become non-humans. Aldous Huxley’s brave new world is a highly successful entity from the technician’s perspective. The pity is some humans are already rejoicing in it.
4. America for all its problems, for all its woes and warts, is the unsurpassed leader of this transformation, of taking humans towards a path of becoming non-humans. To the extent that the Chinese are catching up, they are showing even more enthusiasm for such “progress”. They have no qualms about human cloning, genetic modification of humans, creation of hybrid humans, and such like.
5. America needs to win no war, it can afford to lose all battles, for civilizational victory already belongs to it. Even if America loses a major war, the victor will only end up becoming a clone of America.
6. Trump, I think, represents the swan song, the last desperate cry, of human-based civilization. I see no hope for his success because what he is fighting is “progress” – the devil’s very own.
7. I have always considered myself to be rational and atheist. However, logical reasoning shows that the only way out for humanity, if it is to avoid becoming permanently trapped in a brave new world, is to abandon its lust for “progress” and “more”. Unless of course we cheerfully adapt to our roles of being cogs in the machine, duly helped by various kinds of soma and drugs and progressive mind-altering 24-hour propaganda. Religion, it seems, may well be the more rational choice for mankind.
” the only way out for humanity, . . . . [ if it is to avoid becoming permanently trapped in a brave new world,] . . . is to abandon its lust for “progress” and “more”.
Sitting here in one of the world’s backwaters (NZ), and farming cows ,sheep , goats , trees , pastures etc. in a simple (organic) fashion, I do not feel at all threatened by robotics. Robots lack the brain power to synthesise hearing , sight, smell, touch and taste simultaneously, to add in future projections and past experience, of such things as weather , markets etc. , to formulate a plan , and then to change it continually and instantaneously as further sensory information is received.
Perhaps farming sustainably is our only possible future.
Perhaps we farmers have been taoist from day one.
Robots don’t worry me either. Human psychopaths and sociopaths that are trying to control us do.. I just finished reading a great book called “Changing Course for Life” by Julian Rose (one of UK’s first organic farmers, actor, writer, activist) who argues that:
“…We have to ‘change course’ for the sake of our own lives and the ‘greater life’ which is our environment, our planet and our humanity. Changing Course is the single most crucial issue of our time, beacause our lives – and the life of our planet – are increasingly coming under the control of a regulatory system that is squeezing the life blood out of our joy of living, and is pushing us towards the cliffs of despair rather than the green pastures of our deeper aspirations.
The system of governance which we are accustomed to has outlived its usefulness and is no longer able to meet the needs of our time. It is simply too inflexible and to dominated by a corporate global agenda whose sole aim is profit. Rather than suffocate under the dead weight of its inertia, we have a great opportunity to rebuild a new society on the fresh ground of ‘decentralised’, local initiatives that spark a new people led, ‘bottom up’ renaissance of hope and fulfillment..”
” Human psychopaths and sociopaths that are trying to control us”
I would include most of the organised religions in that category.
No. Not religion.
We must believe in Truth, and something bigger than our corporeal selves.
Social relations may change but Truth does not.
Good comment. Thx.
@Religion, it seems, may well be the more rational choice for mankind.
It always was. The inevitable decay started when mankind made the irrational choice of throwing religion out of its life, rejecting the only force capable to keep in check the infernal forces, the Spirit. It was the mortal sin, the sin against the Holy Spirit which “will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” It is not organic farming which can save mankind. This is another delusion.
Yeah right . Who needs sustainable food production?
It seems you missed the point completely.
So come on then Wiz , what are these” infernal ” forces that you claim to have found within yourself?
I’ve searched my soul , and I find no such thing.
An irrational choice to dispense with superstition?
Whoa, you got it bad .
@I’ve searched my soul , and I find no such thing
I feel sorry for you.
“Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted”.
I did not expect that you would answer the question honestly. Being RC , I am quite familiar with the parables.
Your mock condescension is a telling indicator of your insincerity. Save your crocodile tears.
Do you not find it ironic that two nominal Xtians are almost coming to blows over differences? I think some people might. Play nicely, please. fk mod
The irony of quoting the parable of the pharisee and the publican was not lost on me, but in his sorrow for those who are not like him, the Wizard apparently missed it.
But coming to blows? Not really. I found it amusing. And it is very familiar territory.
But clearly, there are differences as to what it means to be christian , as opposed to being a self-proclaimed Christian. The idea that morality is reserved to theists is still common.
Happy to be entertaining.
I actually was answering to Alex, approving his stance on religion.
Please close this conversation down. It is getting personal. Mod
“To the extent that the Chinese are catching up, they are showing even more enthusiasm for such “progress”. They have no qualms about human cloning, genetic modification of humans, creation of hybrid humans, and such”.
I was thinking the same thing the other day how, China, S. Korea, Japan easily accept Western style of development abandoning their own values. Japan for example has already developed robot soldiers, these three nations are like machines. The dilemma is of course, China, while it enjoyed its capitalist transformation, it refuses to be US subordinate.
Religion is not a rational, or better choice, and has been a source of terrible things. It is just one of various modes or tools of thought and handling the mind and being, useful at times, but a deadly trap ifs misused — as is being confined to any one mode and blind to the others. But religion is not needed at all, only artistic, magickal, meditative, or similar modes, which have no dependence on belief or dogma but generally break away from such binding limits when used well.
“…logical reasoning shows…”
Well OK, then, abandoning such lust is logical, rational, and far away from much religious ideology. Mindfulness (meditation practice) can help with this and inform the rational, as can art, intuition, etc. Mental and psychic tools are like physical ones: you have many in your toolbox and learn to choose the right one for the current task. When use of different one leads to a convergence, consilience, and synergy then you can have some confidence that you are on the right track. If they all go in divergent directions then you are probably either asking the wrong questions or are in a mental trap or dysfunction.
You nailed it 100%.
Thank-you Alex for initiating this conversation and to the other contributors. It is time to describe and define this ‘brave new world’ coming at us sooner than we would want it to. It will be a dreary age.
You have very realistic explanation. The coming of Elon Musk, Haarp, everything virtual and digital means mankind is in grave danger. I enjoyed watching Zeitgeist at the beginning, until the Joseph guy at the end of the documentary said reliance of machine is the best solution to man against the corrupt Wall Street.
Maybe you may have answers for these. I don’t believe what the MSM says or what the politicians say in front of the podium. The truth is what they discuss behind the curtain. What is driving Brexit? It seems unrealistic that Britain wants to isolate itself from its natural ally, Europe. One of the reason seem to be Britian seeking alliance with China and being part of AIIB, which maybe a trick; it wants to break alliance between China and Russia by bringing in China in the beginning.
What is behind Turkey’s objective? Is it pro West as it is part of NATO or it wants to leave it as indicated by the rift with Germany and Holland?
I also have suspicion, perhaps N. Korea, surrounded and influenced by US allies, Japan and S. Korea may be the secret ally of US. By pretending N. Korea is the objective of its deployment of warfare in S. Korea, in fact, N. Korea is helping it deploy against China and/Russia.
@ all thank you for your appreciation :)
>> What is driving Brexit?
>> It seems unrealistic that Britain wants to isolate itself from its natural ally, Europe.
In the perspective of the transition from “human-based” to “robot-based”, the more the population is able to resist, the less interesting that population becomes. Transition will work the best wherever you have a large number of people ready to accept it, with all its consequences.
It is possible that the populations in the Anglo-Saxon countries have been more influenced or prepared than in continental Europe (in that particular perspective). This puts the quote by Margaret Tchatcher “There is no such thing as society” in another perspective. That said, one example among many, the study “Peasants to Frenchmen” by Eugen Weber shows that over 150 years ago there has been a thorough reprogramming of society in France through compulsory schooling, media but also increasing living standards, so this is not something new, there are many ways in which societies have been changed completely.
The “robot-based” production of value is also included in the broader evolution of globalization. It is hence not necessary that every First World country benefits from it, especially when they’re resisting the process. It is not even a conspiration : the less advanced an economy is, the less competitive it gets, and this is cumulative.
On the other hand, in the 1920’s and 1930’s both the USA and the USSR, in theory economic antithesis, did exactly the same thing in forcefully mechanizing (from “human-based” to “machine-based”, in a sense) their agriculture : millions of peasants/small farmers have been replaced by tractors. They all followed the same technological evolution.
In this light, I would suggest to see the dictatorial aspects of stalinist regime as the enforcement of a technological transition. The very important thing is that this transition benefited to a lot of people, even if only in the short term, and so people were ready to support it. And also in favor of this economic transition, an industrialized USSR could defeat the industrialized Axis immediately after that transition, whereas a less-industrialized USSR would have been destroyed like Yugoslavia or Poland for instance.
If France for instance doesn’t want the “robot-based” economy but a post-Brexit UK does, then ultimately France would lose to the UK, be destabilized by it (yet again…) or something in that ballpark (becoming a new Greece, with various ineffectual Tsiprases at the helm…). This already happened in the 18th century and the 19th century.
While I don’t like this perspective at all, history tells us that’s the way technology goes (farmers did replace the hunter-gatherers, so we’re all sons of culprits or at least people who learnt to live with the new technology…).
There is long-term benefit against Iraq and even US, the objective is to create one world government under their own banner.
Of course, all this putative technological parity (‘superiority’?) amounts to nothing but a potential for wholesale – including self – destruction without able strategists/rational actors at the helm.
This is far from the case in Washington, Tel Aviv and London.
Terror as a weapon is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain, as elites/ perps depend on media to create the ‘enemy’ (‘look over there – it’s not us’).
But it is them.
And more and more know it.
So the reckoning will finally come – but it will not be scripted one.
China has now joined the information war.
I do believe, the US is even prepared to save itself from mutual destruction happening on its own land as well as surrounding China and Russia. A threat at the borders of China and Russia means the damage will be great deal for these two nations. There is nothing to threaten US at its borders so far. If it is affected internally, it will not shy away from committing genocide.
Dear Saker, what do you think about the real root causes, rather than some symptoms?
USA Is A British Colony/Federal Reserve Act/FR Is Private/USA Is A Corporation/Rothschild’s Exposed!
And for how long must we repeat such hints until you or Scott or Southfront write an article about it?
USA private corporation
Germany is definitely also such a privatized denationalized “company” colony.
And so are many more.
You understand German and grew up in Switzerland?
What about that then?
Geheime Staats Privatisierung der Schweiz – Wem gehören diese Firmen & DUNS
(secret state privatization of Switzerland – who owns those “corporations” & upik.de/DUNS)
It is not some conspiracy theory.
Research Bank for International Settlements, IMF, Worldbank, FED …
It is the biggest deception of all times.
Kirov this is interesting. Perhaps YOU could write an article about it and submit it to the Saker for publication?
This is a tour de force from the Saker and a comprehensive denunciation of the malady affecting Uncle Sam: schizophrenia of gargantuan proportions. They proclaim the high ideals of moral righteousness, freedom, democracy, Christian values and other highfaluting sanctimonious memes while practising the most vicious disregard to basic decency in all spheres of institutional and public life.
I feel sorry for the many US citizens who feel trapped in a system of uncontrollable lust for power and unrestrained deceit and unable to escape from it. It was great to fight the “British tyranny” but the home-grown variety is more rapacious, crude and murderous (and without the elegant English finesse) and no amount of revolutionary fervour is going to change it an iota.
The Saker mentioned en passant the many pitfalls waiting in the wings until the final denouement, including the unsustainability of the capitalist mode of production and social order, and that is the crux of whole current state of affairs. The system is rigged in such a way that does not allow an alternative course because the fundamentalist doctrine of neoliberal pre-eminence thwarts any inkling that the shining light on the hill is a Saint Elmo’s fire from a putrefying body. It is this cultural cul-de-sac that will lead to the inevitable cataclysm.
Blinded by the certainty of their mission to impose the free-market mantra to all corners of the world by gunboat diplomacy or the modern variant of colour revolutions and proxy terrorism, the US ruling class cannot alter the course set out by the Monroe Doctrine or the manifest destiny of enslaving everyone. Add to this cultural exceptionalism the demands of the voracious greed of capitalism, which demands an ever-expanding consumption while resources are dwindling and the imperatives of financial imperialism, it becomes almost a logical necessity for the New World Order or some other fanciful project.
Indeed, the patient is beyond mending and should be given a charitable coup de grace.
It is not a “suicide”.
It shall be a sophisticated well-designed intentional Genocide of 100’s of Millions if not Billions of people.
The masters do plan to survive this and to get out of this even stronger.
With a population reduced to 500 millions.
They simply have enough robots and technical automation and just do not need us nasty eaters any longer.
bill gates depopulation
No time to read all your sources yet….though I may go back and do so….but the general concept is, I am quite certain correct: British Brains/American Brawn and it has been so for a little over a century fairly overtly.
And there were elements (somewhat more covertly) of it for the century before that.
People are fooled because they consider the physical realm too much, and consider that visible part more important, more dominant. It is NOT! Mind control, corrupting cultural influences are more important.
The realms of mind and spirit are more decisive, because those move the muscles and corrupt the Americans they need. Going back to partners in banking and the slave and opium trades, down to the present day.
Look at how many Americans are so proud to be knighted by the absurd shriveled up old witch imperialist Elizabeth and her Greco-Nazi consort Phillip:
“Sir” Henry Kissinger, “Sir” Caspar Weinberger, “Sir” Colin Powell and on and and on and on.
The New York Council on Foreign Relations?
A mere colonial spin-off of the Royal Institute of International Affairs
Quigley didn’t know the whole picture back in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, but he knew large chunks of it very well.
It nearly broke the United States, deploying a max total of 500 000 soldiers to Vietnam in the late 1960’s, when the US army was at least double in size.
Can anyone imagine a similar deployment of even half that many soldiers to North Korea, in the present epoch?
By traditional doctrines the USA needs 3 million soldiers to defeat North Korea’s 1 million marxo-jihadis, who can live off grass, and Samsung-wielding S.K. Sailor Moonies would no more do the trick than an army of iPhone Candy Crushers.
Granted, making Seoul look like Aleppo would be one helluva reconstruction gig, and I’m sure Nipponese Samurai would be on board for that. Ban-zai!
WYSIWYG. The whole US MIC is set up to milk the GWOT and so it will continue idefinitely.
Russia knows and so does China. Let’s all just face it, there are benifits for both. Hakka Chinese leadership is content to keep the lid on at home while Russia has weapons to sell. None of this hurts. At worst members 2 and 3 of Orwell’s Big Bros. Triumvirate are amused and aware that the threat of direct confrontation with the USA is minus 459.67 degrees Kelvin.
As for Trump, I am reminded of the story of Pandora’s Box, actually a jar, containing the passions of the world. When Pandora opened her jar one thing remained inside: Hope.
For the Greeks Hope was neither here nor there but for Anglozionists, who use Hope as a name for their girls and sex #3, Hope had to be weaponized and so they learned to use bad actor-specialists like Donald Trump, to carry it to the mindwashed-from-birth masses, and chemically altered from even before, to defuse potential mobilization of genuine opposition — of sensible people — while Soros and his Bolshevik-Neocon-Ashke-Nazi minions create a fake opposition of maidanites to provide documentary evidence that yes, indeed, there was a colour revolution in the USA in October 2017. Donald reprises the role of Tsar Nicolas exactly 100 years after cousin Nicky did such a smashing job of almost ruining Russia, and all with the goal of dismembering it but for one minor snafu: Stalin turned out to be ‘competent.’
So then, Ladies and Gentlemen and Androgens, who will be America’s Stalin?
That was the last time the Ashke-Nazi-Bolshevik-Neocons were all gathered in one country, at one time, but real-deal Stalin was followed by another bad actor/imbecile-thug named Krushchev who made the Nazi dream a more sturdy reality, tearing Crimea away from Greater Rus, in addition to playing the main part in the worst case of bad over-acting by a politician in human history, banging his shoe at the Rockefellar-United Nations International Theatre of Idocracy, Samantha Powers take a bow, a process now restarted in Novorussia — by exactly the same people.
And you thought it was the opposite. Haha. See Novorussia live, See Novorussia die. How did it feel?
Everything you see, read or hear is not only fake, but is also a tell. Please write that down.
Tonight I turned on RT — in my motel room (that’s right, I wouldn’t pay for this crap), to see a reporter showing pictures of what she claimed were several Syrian soldiers beheaded by ISIS near Palmyra. Only problem is the uniforms were perfectly immaculate. LOL. I guess no one thought putting brand new uniforms on beheaded corpses or more likley dummies would be a little too obvious. These very cynical-stupid people think you are equally cynical-stupid so they don’t even bother with the details anymore.
I would be much more concerned that the US and China are working on vast psyop to reunify Korea and make it seem as though someone dropped nukes. That would be at least as likely as a fighting war between China and the USA. As for Iran they are slated for dimunition, as is Russia, same as the USA. The new Masters of the Universe and assorted Ubermenchens find large and potentially meddlesome nation states problematic (Dugin anyone?) They plan to turn the world into some version of Europe or more likely lil’ Andorras, where transnational elite insitutions will be the only true power and no one can resist.
Now, please excuse the meandering post but ya know it’s a stream of consciousness thing and perfectly appropriate for the non stop nonsense which makes more reasonable appraisals like Saker’s seem somehow plausible.
Everyone please relax — and ponder this question:
Q. How does God defeat Satan in the final battle?
A. He doesn’t.
Satan defeats himself.
The wise old father of the beats wrote “Hustlers of the world beware the mark you cannot beat, the mark inside.”
As for the final battle…well, I rather think, I calculate, that there are several large skirmishes to come before any final battle.
After the US Civil War (a natural result of loss of empire and economic collapse and poverty) re-arranges matters in North America, the survivors may well see the Earth Island itself experience a similar catharsis.
Understand that the new geopolitical reality post US empire will obviously upset matters in Asia, Europe, Africa, and especially the Slavic Spaces and Russia itself!
Post US/Ivan war, the peace? Then will come betrayals throughout those spaces, and priorities and avenues change.
Comrade President has got to last through that Russian civil war, and win that. Thant’s where the war’s issues will be decided – and the nature of the peace – not in north America.
“Everything you see, read or hear is not only fake, but is also a tell.”
What a great quote, I wrote it down!
In some ways, the very best thing about Trump winning the election is that it has forced the media to show their true colors which makes critical reading a lot easier. If I read a WaPo article it’s useful to understand that they’re playing the Neo-Confidence game and Neo-Conning you. Except it’s the neo-liberal branch that has sold out the people to play the imperial game with the real neo-cons, CIA etc etc etc. The WaPo isn’t really hard to figure out but I’ve changed my mind about a lot of blogs as this thing has played out. (You’ll notice that I’m still here!)
Okay, on to the serious part. I strongly disagree when you say that “Triumvirate are amused and aware that the threat of direct confrontation with the USA is minus 459.67 degrees Kelvin.” Both China and Russia take the threat of war with deadly seriousness. Sure, here in “America” we can’t see the prospect of a “real” war as real but we don’t act within the fictional American Mythology that says “there will be no war among superpowers because it’s just unimaginable”.
When we stack missiles, tanks, and all sorts of of troops on the border with Russia, it may not mean much back home but it sure as hell does to Russia. The same is true of China in relation to all those “Freedom of Navigation” provocations in the South China Sea.
Overall, I think you have a pretty good reading but I think you’re still a bit prone to believing in mythology.
When I think of Trump I think of tossing a monkey wrench into the imperial machine: it’s not going to be pretty but, if we’re lucky, it will destroy the machine.
Satan is already destroyed:
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8)
Following the latest instruction to military personnel to avoid ‘offensive’ terms like ‘boys’ and ‘girls’, this comment says much about why the Empire will inevitably collapse from within:
You guys think this is bad. I just came out of Basic Training last July and it’s at Lackland San Antonio. The leadership there is very intent on making sure our feelings aren’t hurt. It’s the shortest and easiest Boot Camp (Navy, Army, and Marines are all longer and harder) but the leadership makes it a point to make you feel special. For example, when you’re working with your MTI in your dorm or outside marching they are strict and yell at you. But once you go in the classroom, the instructor (usually a former drill SGT) tells you to relax and not worry about getting yelled at, the classroom is a safe space for 2 hours a day basically.
The Drill SGT (MTI) can only yell at you, they can’t put you down. Can’t cuss. Can’t throw beds or anything like that. Can’t punish you. Because now THAT is somehow considered hazing, the MTI’s are actually scared of being accused of this. The leader of the base was sort of new and he specifically told my flight that you don’t learn discipline by being yelled at or put down and that he was trying to change most of that to be cognizant of our feelings.
At night time before bed everyone is supposed to gather inside a small room and have Airmans Time where we talk about our feelings to our flight.
During your 6th week you go to this wannabe Army Boot Camp type scenerio called BEAST week where they try to simulate a deployment. MRE’s and everything, except at about 1700 you go inside a mini safe space stadium and the MTL chats and has a good ol time with you (like Airmans time).
In one of the scenarios you’re checking out a building booby trapped by Islamic terrorists and the MTL gives a speech about how it’s not supposed to be offensive to Arabs and Muslims and that America loves Arabs and Muslims and blah blah blah.
Then once you graduate you go to a week long safe space hell hole called Airmans Week where you literally draw picture describing your feelings and then those pictures get placed on the wall. Like a 3rd Grade classroom. I’m not kidding.
Then you get to tech school, Lackland Airbase is not only Basic Trainijg for Trainees but also Tech School for Airman who are learning their trade. I’m assuming that email was sent to Tech School Airman and MTI’s. My Tech School was a lot different than Basic but every other week or so the Base Commander would drop by and reassure us that Tech School was meant to be safe and fun and blah blah blah. Then you get stationed at your AirBase and it’s pretty much full of people telling you they’re offended by things and on and on.
We just got a brand new SGT who publicly told me he was offended that I laughed at an Airman for being lazy. Not kidding. Another Airman who has been here for a couple years told me she was offended because I said the DFAC gave me PTSD.
Now the AirForce is one big entitlement program, no one wants to work- everyone wants to whine, and everyone expects something. Everyone is just power hungry, and a bunch of these people have mental problems and can’t function without a safe space. If Boot Camp was tougher on people then these morons wouldn’t have ever made it past Boot Camp!
Boot camp v Kindergarten ?
The infantilization just lurches from one extreme to the other.
What ever happened to teaching people to reason, whatever the goal?
Who or what’s the empire ?..it is past its sell by date opinion here saying that there’s an empire named AMERICA!, the empire is no more it is kaput. The emperor has no clothes it can only make its own natives it’s slave and nothing more. The ex empire is hoping to screw its natives mind and make slaves out of them even here they might fail miserably cos some of the white natives are armed to the teeth and still feel entitled and exceptional.
I don’t see a problem. If it was good for the US public education system, it should be OK for the military… “It” being the radical dumbing down… the important “jobs” in the US military are now keyboard jockeys and drone pilots. All others are either for show like the silly Marines driving their trucks around Syria with Old Glory flapping away, or as cannon-fodder like in Yemen.
Listening to the good-old-boy wild-west dialogue on the Reuters journalist murder video says just how unintelligent even the pilot “officers” are these days. Tough-guys when there is no one to shoot back, but send drones where there might be. And worse, send drones to simply kill all at a site, women and children included. Cowards is the word.
The Russian military would make mincemeat of any US forces that dared pick a fight… which is why the US has always ensured there were disposa-terrorists between them and any real soldiers. Syria is not Grenada, and the US chickenhawks seem to be the only ones not getting that fact.
No more “…. be the first one on your block to have your boy come home in a box…” That was the lesson the US military took from Vietnam.. send others to die for your “spreading democracy” BS. And the Rothschilds/Soros class offer to hold both sides’ coats while the fighting goes on.
Doncha know soon no US military personnel will ever be killed in action? Google Robots will do the butchering on the ground, drones by air, using Depleted Uranium munitions to salt the earth for generations. When did the US elevate cowardice to such a level? Maybe some impact from Moore embarrassing members of Congress on how few of them actually served, and how nearly none had any young relatives serving currently.
Overheard in a Congressional home kitchen: “See honey, junior can be home like this every night for dinner after a busy patriotic day dropping drone-bombs a half a world away on innocent people. What’s that junior, President Trumpy called and told you to be sure to push the nuke-bomb button next time he calls or “you’re fired”???!!!!!” Gee Martha, maybe this war thing isn’t such a great idea…”
And any US military that do get killed because they were never properly trained to fight will be elevated to martyr status, a rallying cry from the Oval Office for another round of “onward Christian soldiers”… Oh wait, Russia is going all Orthodox Christian again… gotta think this out… not black/brown, nope… they spied on us! oh wait we spied on everyone… they started it! oh wait no we started it… they supported Muslims! oh wait, we created/supported al Qaeda, ISIS, and every other set of alphabet soup of Wahabbists we could find… I give up, just have Fox and CNN blame anyone they like, it doesn’t matter.
Great stuff. Love this:
“What the Neocons clearly fail to see, or don’t care about, is that by de-legitimizing Trump they are also de-legitimizing the entire political process which brought Trump to power and upon which the United States are built as a society.”
It’s not just Neocons, though, right? It’s Dems, anti Trumpers – they more they dig they more they uncover more of the corruption/crimes/dirt on which the empire is built.
I cannot hear this nonsense about “good comrade Trump” versus the evil Liberals anymore.
How long will it take you folks to realize, that Trump is just another planted deception?
Here hear him proudly announcing that he wants to *increase* the US military budget even further:
NATO is preparing a war, and I think it is more than just some entertainment
Here hear him telling how much he loves Israel, and he got standing ovations for his AIPAC speech 1 year ago:
Donald Trump Full Speech at AIPAC Policy Conference (3-21-16)
So unless there is any single grain of evidence that he is more than a trap to divide Russia and China, finally stop repeating this boring narrative that Trump is such a wonderful angel.
I don’t buy that anymore.
“I cannot hear this nonsense about “good comrade Trump” versus the evil Liberals anymore.
How long will it take you folks to realize, that Trump is just another planted deception?”
Yeah, the excuses for trump remind me of the obama bot head in the sand mentality nonsense. All these gymnastics to try and portray trump as being opposed to what the people he chose are doing is getting absurd and seriously detracts credible neutral analysis. This trump vs “the deep state” meme is psywar, smoke and mirrors, trump is the showman selling what the zpc.nwo oligarchy wants.
Trump is not a planted deception, but a member of the alternative deep-state gang, which are at war with each other, and which has been heating up for years now. The dived canbe said to be industrial vs financial, or ideologue vs realpolitick, or paleoconservative and liberals vs neocons and neoliberals, or the old politicians vs the ‘crazies in basement’.
More military, transfer of wealth from working class to rich, sneaky empire vs overt empire? That’s the two major wings of the plutocrats and imperialists, and there’s no outrageous thing Trump does or says that is much out of character for the typical US politician of maybe 30 years ago (given that there have trends and varying dissenters within the parties at different times). Sanders is old school too, not an actual socialist or anti-war at all. Different styles and a few different minor premises, and different levels of psychopathy. We have escaped a demon for an older style ogre, which is better but don’t think an ogre won’t do a lot of damage. Maybe the best thing about Trump is he could do enough Damage to finsih off the empire in short order — maybe Trump is the kaishakunin.
In any case he must be supported as ‘the president’ and ‘the electoral system’ unless people are ready for revolution, and I can’t say that they are or could handle the chaos.
The big difference between now and then, aside from the larger populations of orcs in Washington now, is that the empire, and capitalism, is running out of steam and decaying. The times and the world has been changing.
Agree with some of what you say here, Blue, going to have to disagree about the conclusions. This will have to brief, though, I have little time today. If you want, we could flesh this out further in the latest cafe, too many posts here now to keep trying to find new ones.
In my view the opposition to trump is the usual con vs lib, dem vs rep sort. In the zio-gay media the clear channel continue pushing trump, while cnn, NBC CBS types continue the opposition. This is not new, just more shrill now than before, as everything media is in the zionazi colonies. Both sides are “fake news”, btw. The media squaring off is very much like in the last days of the Nixon regime, when most of the media were taking pot shots at nixon much like trump now.
My view of trumps actual riles in the tuppence regime is that of showman, the face the people see. If any, the head of the regime is pence. It has been pence who has oversaw the selection of the cabinet and I suspect he plays the main role in coordinating policy. Trumps rhetoric aside, the tuppence regime follows more closely what pence said in the VP debate than anything trump said. I look at the regime as a team very much working in concert together with each assigned their role.
Not sure about the US, but one country that self destructed was USSR.
USSR ( and Warsaw pact) dissolution was a form of voluntary suicide by the then Soviet elites. A global military superpower and the 3rd world economy (that followed an alternative economic system based on the socialist mode of production) ceased to exist.
No significant problems existed to explain the end of USSR. It was just a matter of greed and lust of power. The Soviet nomenklatura supported “reforms” so as to
seize the state property through privatization. The process caused economic disintegration.
Two incompetent politicians, Gorbachev and Yeltsin destroyed the Soviet state as they fought for power. Gorbachev gave earth and water to the West and abandoned any “hardline” communist leader of eastern Bloc ( Honecker, Ceausescu, etc), causing the eastern bloc alliance to crumble. The counter”revolutions” restored capitalism and brought these countries as EU NATO vassal states.
Yeltsin unconstitutionally signed the bellavheza treaties and ended the USSR so that he became the Russian president. He sold out the state industry through various mafia schemes, crash the economy and bombed the parliament in 1993….
All these caused tremendous economic and social problems, and led to the era of the unipolar neoliberal globalisation.
Putin has restored some Russian pride and power, but let’s not forget that (sadly) Russia was a joke in the 1990s. A bankrupt mafia controlled country that exported prostitutes around the globe.
Who would expect that? During the 1980s, Soviet Union was considered all powerful and had great prestige. There were numerous Soviet sympathizers in the west , and numerous others anticimmunists who were scared of Soviet power!!!
USSR (was not a “county”) failed due to foundation on contradicting basis, according to US ambassador Kennan. I myself rather favor the 5th column theories, and the ones mooting the idea of treason, but Kennan and the canonized history says “internal contradictions”, and these undoubtedly existed.
US might be seen as similarly being founded on conflicting a-priori mythic principles. So long as expansion and looting is permitted, these contradictions are minor irritants to internal stability – BUT, when expansion stops, a reflux occurs and the physically dense regions of populations, cities, become reaction bombs – if one will permit the analogies to chemistry – which of course it is. Human economic chemistry. De-industrialization accelerates the process.
USSR was a single UN recognized nation state under intl law, all internal republics were domestic matters. The colour on the world map was all the same for everything inside its external norders.
The USSR had one union-wide team for Olympics, championships i.t.d…
Very much like the US.
Also, it was a controlled demolishion (the USSR I mean, haha)
The peaceful dissolution of Soviet Union was the evidence and proof that it was indeed an union of equals. Who, when decided to call it quits and part their ways did so amicably and moved on. Like a rock band, like The Beatles. Or like former Czechoslovakia.
Sometimes, I ask myself if the néocon, often former trotskyste, don’t hate USA till they actually want to destroy it.
In the same idea, when I see a ultra-left activist like M. Moore applaud about CIA, and shouting like a mad maccarthyst from 50s that Trump is a traitor and a tool of Russia, when I see the true left wing activists so enjoyed to treat Trump of traitor and go hand by hand with their usual ennemy: CIA, FBI, NSA, Wa Po, NYT, FT, after rubbing my eyes , I can’t stop thinking that these people want to destroy USA .
And all these people, I think, are fully satisfied by that civil war that grow.
In playing with activists agitation and promoting mutinies Deep State play a very dangereous game for the future of USA
In playing with usually hated by them, worth hands of the Deep State, the leftist play a very dangerous game for the future of democraty.
Ennemy of my ennemy is not necessarily my friend. Sometimes, he’s worth than he.
Of course the Elites want to destroy America. They want a Feudal system with them on top, all the remaining folks are serfs.
And the world does not need 7 or 8 billion serfs. No more than 300 million are necessary for the Elites to have slaves and serfs keeping the Elite toilets clean.
Decimation is the next step after destruction of the present sovereign nation-states.
Bill Clinton ranted yesterday against nation-states.
The Cult of Liberalism is the precursor of 21st Century Feudalism.
“We are the ruling race of the world. . . . We will not renounce our part in the mission of our race, trustee, under God, of the civilization of the world. . . . He has marked us as his chosen people. . . . He has made us adept in government that we may administer government among savage and senile peoples.” : Sen. Alfred Beveridge
“I firmly believe that when any territory outside the present territorial limits of the United States becomes necessary for our defense or essential for our commercial development, we ought to lose no time in acquiring it.” : Sen. Orville Platt of Connecticut 1894.
The sentiments uttered by them over 100 years ago are still the driving ideology of those running the Outlaw US Empire. And nothing will change until those sentiments are dashed on the rocks and rent asunder forevermore. Unfortunately, it’s up to the citizenry of the USA to save themselves from themselves, and so far little has happened to make anyone think that will occur anytime soon.
Thanks for (yet another) fantastic summary and overview. Only through your analyses and the writings of Joachim Hagopian, do I gain any realistic perspective on military matters. Hollywood & MSM were my previous teachers!!
I think “environmental suicide” should be mentioned. Who needs environmental regulations? Actual scientific research? U-S-A! U-S-A! This takes exceptionalist machismo to a whole new level. After seeing what’s happened in Michigan, and hearing the proposals of the Trump administration, I don’t think any apocalyptic outcome is beyond reach, through extreme environmental mismanagement. This could result in the remaining power in the US disappearing really, really rapidly. With no bombs or nukes involved.
dear S (oul) 113
today I sensed my idea of the past autumn/winter like a code
I found deep within this time:
if the general detonation of empirely stupidity, feeling of entitlement and so on
is avoided, time has been won, to study the beast “US- State” which I sense
as the biggest “MS- Super-Nation” on sea, having changed the captain,as emerged off the vote
of the lower team and the whole top-management is loyal to the lapsed 70 years.
Only by God’s will such a thing of impossibility might become possible.
Gorbatchow dared it, now America’s number might be up.
Great surprises are still waiting to happen.
Thanks for the reply, mundo. “Great surprises are still waiting to happen.” How easy to forget this!! (Although the Saker is always upfront about all the unknowns involved, making it impossible to predict actual events.) I need to remind myself of this more often.
In the extreme microcosm of my personal experience, I am helplessly lapsing into chaotic conditions, conditions which formerly I wrapped in a kind of strict order or structure. (And blessedly, this chaos is not the endangering kind!!) As dismaying as this feels, I agree with your reference to God’s will creating the possible out of impossibility. That transformation, the alchemy, must feel like this, right? That’s my assumption. So I let it be, uncomfortable, awkward, mysterious as it is. Perhaps that “impossible made possible alchemy” is expressed, many times magnified, in the events on the broader level, too.
If the world truly thought that USA is kaput then US dollar would not be #1 choice for international trade and #1 choice for foreign currency reserve. The $US dominates the world of finance, and since we live in mercantile world that means the US dominates the world.
If the world truly thought the US has no future, it would not have immigration problem, but emigration problem. The fact is the net flux of people is into the US. And the flux is pretty big – millions of people are trying to enter the US, legally or illegally, one way or another. OTOH, not many American residents are selling off their stuff and moving abroad. Some, yes, but not not even close to the number of people moving in. People trust America and vote by their feet.
” US dollar would not be #1 choice for international trade and #1 choice for foreign currency reserve. ”
Increasingly it is not. And that is why the Federal Reserve has been instructed raise interest rates in the face of appalling data which should prevent such a move . . . . to maintain the illusion for as long as possible so that everyone who “matters” has time to position themselves.
The U.S. dollar is backed by nothing but promises which cannot be met except by printing more dollars . . .which has the same outcome . . . worthless paper.
You are ignoring many factors here. First, many of the immigrants coming into the US are low information manual laborers simply fleeing the destabilization of their countries cause by US meddling. These are not people who probably think much in terms of the direction of global trends but more in terms of how they can achieve momentary stability for their families. The various narco wars currently on-going are a more pressing concern than the future collapse of the US. Another class of immigrants are the H1B types, who are essentially a serf class (albeit well paid) who are shipped in by corporations and shipped back out. They’re not staying long-term, thus the global trends affecting the US are not a primary concern.
As to why Americans are not fleeing, again, this is fairly easy to understand. Americans are intentionally kept monolingual, so this a priori reduces opportunity abroad. We are kept dumb and brainwashed so that we naturally think every other place in the world is some sort of crappier version of America at best, or an actual hellhole. American’s ignorance of the rest of the world is well documented. So it shouldn’t be surprising that American’s don’t even think to look for the exits. Furthermore, the US taxes it’s citizens who do leave, thus further narrowing opportunities since American citizens are subject to a double tax. The places where Americans can usually settle in–EU countries–already have high taxes. So how many people want to be taxed twice at high rates? The alternative is to make very little money to reduce the tax bite or go to countries with low taxes, but Americans mostly don’t want reduced lifestyles or to live in less than 1st world conditions. But it doesn’t end there–many countries, unlike the US, have high barriers to immigration and will not accept people without special talents. This further reduces opportunity for Americans. To further constrain us, the US has an onerous exit tax, so even if you wanted to renounce citizenship, the US will still take a big bite out of your assets.
US citizens are meant to remain in place as debt chattel. That is why we don’t all flee to other places.
I think that is partly, still, because the USA is Big, and large portions of it have an acceptable climate.
There is still quite a lot of “give” in the situtaion domestically, in terms of being able to get a place to live somewhere and do some kind of work.
People who are leaving are on a higher ec. level than t hose who are coming.
Here is another quote from Viet Nam:
“Throw everything at us. Throw everything you have. Throw the hydrogen bomb, and at the end of the engagement we will remain and you will be gone.”
– Ward Just’s ‘American Romantic’; the NV Captain in the jungle
One for the “Hmm, interesting” Department.
The Russian Duma is considering a legal amendment, proposed by ex-Prosecutie, that will simplify and speed up applications for Russian citizenship for a particular class of people. The amendment applies to people born on the territory of the Russian Empire or the USSR. Presumably, if parents gain citizenship via this route, their children do too.
Hmmm, interesting. I wonder who might benefit from this?
Please tell Putin to be careful whom ever he meets, even those considered allies. The other day, I saw him shaking Erdegon, never mind their cooperation, that’s good, but we all know Who Erdegon is, after all, Turkey is in NATO.
Very interesting article Saker, thank you.
I would like to touch up on a few points you made.
North Korea does, as you say, have Seoul in artillery range. In fact, North Korea can bombard Seoul, and the major U.S. military base on the border with aprox. 16,000+ heavy artillery rounds a minute. These artillery units are dug into tunnels in the mountains and are in effect immune from conventional air power or artillery. Kim was not joking when he stated that his army could turn Seoul into an ‘ocean of fire’. And also, the U.S. can kiss their 30,000+ troops in South Korea.
So, no, there wont be a conventional war on the North Koreans. A nuclear war would effect everyone in the region, including Japan. So we can safely say North Korea is safe.
Iran, likewise, has an enormous ballistic missile capability. Any conventional attack on Iran would be responded to with a massive missile attack on the whole Persian Gulf regions oil and gas infrastructure. Saudi, Kuwaiti, Emirati etc. facilities would be set on fire and destroyed, spelling the end of the ‘petro-dollar’. If Israel, whom is by definition the epitome of suicidal behavior, decides to attack Iran, Iran could crush Israel conventionally. If Israel decides to use nukes, Iran has every square meter of the apartheid state covered for bombardment.
An Iranian General has stated that Iran could muster 5+ million armed soldiers if need be against any aggression. These forces would overwhelm the region. Iran is simply content to pester and make angry ,Israel through Hezbollah for right now. Israel could find itself fighting a war on 2-3 fronts. The Israeli military is perhaps the most over-rated force in the world, as we saw them get routed in 2006 by Hezbollah. Interesting note, the Hezbollah soldiers who stopped the Israeli armored columns were not even their ‘crack, shock’ troops, but regulars. Hezbollah keep their best fighter north of the Litani line. In essence, time and options are running out for Israel.
The same ‘suicidal’ tendencies of the U.S. empire the Saker mentioned, can also be used to apply to Israel. They are one in the same. Dumb and dumber.
Yes, diplomacy and the art associated with it are dead in the U.S. and Israel. Take this for example, and see where priorities lay. The U.S. government spends over 600 billion annually on defense, but only allocates 30 billion for the State Department. They don’t want to talk. They want military hegemony and belligerence. Even the CIA gets more resources than the State Department. Also, like the military, the Department of State and intelligence arms have been purged of any patriotic, honest, intelligent officers. In place of them, ‘yes-men’ and pro-Zionists have taken their jobs and posts. The good, honest and patriotic officers have been black-mailed, forcibly retired, sex scandals etc. The damage is done.
In 2001, two days before 9-11, Donald Rumsfeld, the Chief of Defense at the Pentagon, had a news conference where he stated that the Pentagon has somehow, without reason, lost track of 2.3 trillion dollars. With no paper-trail. Just ‘poof’, its gone, missing! Now if the American people were not so sedated, and dysfunctional, that bit of news on ‘accounting irregularities’ to the tune of 2.3 trillion of their money disappearing into thin air should have brought about a take-over, coup, or major riots on the streets. Any other peoples would have. But no, not one known consequence to speak of. That money could have rebuilt the U.S. infrastructure, overhauled education, eradicated poverty and homelessness, taken care of the ocean of military vets and their families once and for all. And still have about a trillion left over, to pay reparations to American Indians, and Black Americans. Rebuild Iraq and Libya, Afghanistan and give Vietnam some too.
Instead, the U.S. government spends millions building Holocaust museums in every city, to small town America. Where are the museums for American Indians?
The one single most ominous threat to the survivability and continuation of the Empire is the Chinese One Road-One Belt initiative, which will link up Asia, Eurasia, Africa and beyond in free-trade, harmony, cultural exchanges, mutual respect and beneficial relationships between nations. While the Chinese and Russians, Iranians and others bring a briefcase and talk mutually beneficial business, the Empire(U.S., Britain,France ,India, Israel , Arab Gulf lackeys and many European governments) brings demands, blackmail, subversion, coups, war, occupation(Palestine and Kashmir). This is unsustainable. In the Empire, among its countries, their populations are angry and restless. The worlds nations will all seek to break away from the ‘boot’ of the Empire and would rather integrate into the One Road-One Belt. ‘Build it and they will come’.
The paradigm shift in the 21st century and beyond will be about nation after nation fleeing from the Empires hegemony(financial, military, cultural, resource) and subjugation and wanting to, and /or joining the new greatest project to behold mankind.
The body of humanity is crying out for, seeking and desiring a ‘new way’, or ‘system’ to take us to the next level. We are on the crux of a evolutionary and revolutionary way to propel us forward. The current , old system does not work, at all. If it is let to continue, we will witness more death, destruction and war. Outright misery for the overwhelming majority of human kind, for the benefit of a racist few.
All the nations that make up the Empire, their inherent ideologies are based on ‘manifest destiny’, racism, right-wing nationalism and a belligerent attitude to others.
In the future, historians will say that this present period is where the Empire should have stopped its mal-doings, and seize upon the ‘new way’, rather than continue on a dead -end and destruct. This is the time for doing so, and time is certainly running out for the desperate Empire.
As it is now, the U.S. and Israel are the only nations building walls, while the rest of the world want integration. Sad.
Great comment, but why bored? Exciting!
Great opportunity to sell the Empire short. Profitable!
“load of baloney which nobody outside the USA still takes seriously, they know that saying that publicly is political suicide”
Perhaps not exactly political suicide, but MIC financial backing suicide. There are those of us who remember the disaster in Vietnam, and more who see Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya as shining examples, and even Syria, that the US cannot win wars but only destroy nations.
War with DPRK, even if was destroyed, is likely to also leave South Korea and Japan destroyed as well, and significant damage elsewhere. This will not make the world at all happy.
As for domestic, see
US House Intelligence Committee Asks Trump for ‘Wiretapping’ Evidence
BREAKING׃ FISA WARRANTS FOR TRUMP WIRETAPPING CONFIRMED ¦ Fox News Hannity
I’m no Hannity fan, but there are some good points here, and both links show internal breakdown — which can have terrible effects on attempted foreign adventures.
There is also the problem of the sclerotic and unstable economy built on rotting timbers — when credit and industrial production, and illusions of trillions, runs out as the real economy screams, how will war be resourced?
Don’t think we’ll get a war with North Korea. They can actually defend themselves pretty well. Their hardware may be old, but it all still works and it’s all still effective. And it takes a long time to kill any significant percentage of a million men, or for that matter, the 120-180,000 NKSF.
Those NKSF guys are tough. Some years back one of their miniature subs ran aground in South Korea which infiltrating. Two NKSF escaped and were pursued by the entire South Korean police and military for 53 days and killed 11 of their pursuers. That’s tough.
I read some years ago that Pentagon war games showed the US suffering 50,000 casualties within 90 days of the start of a Korean war (probably 20,000+ would be those troops currently in North Korea who would be wiped out in 72 hours.) That means the equivalent of the ten-year Vietnam war in 3 months.
I don’t think the Pentagon wants that kind of war. They want a decades-long war with Iran so their buddies in the military-industrial complex can make 100-400 billion in profits every year for a decade or so (since Iran will never surrender, the war will be even longer than Afghanistan), but the actual US casualties will look more like Iraq (albeit four times as many and faster) than North Korea. (Of course, if Iran manages to drop an aircraft carrier, that will be several thousand casualties in the first week…)
China of course would be strictly a nuclear war. There’s no way the US can land troops in China, or engage in a full-scale war against a land-based massive enemy from the sea (and if they go in via North Korea, well, they gotta beat North Korea first – see above.) The logistics are impossible. So that won’t happen because China has nukes, too and most of the US West Coast would disappear.
Russia? Please – Russia has massive nukes and second-strike capability. And any war between NATO and Russia has Russia winning, according to 14 war games conducted by the Pentagon where every advantage was given to NATO – Russia still won. The only way we get into a war with Russia is an escalation of a war between NATO and Russia. Possible, but at least somewhat unlikely due to those nukes.
So it’s an Iran war or nothing. Which, of course, will accelerate the US decline. But it’s the only war we’re likely to have any time soon – unless, of course, everyone in Washington really is crazy – or controlled by lizard men from Mars.
Which I suppose is possible (including the lizard men). :-)
I F Stone reported that it was south korea that attacked the north, according to eye witnesses at macaurthur’s hq in japan…
do not assume that men act according to some serene and celestial understanding – they do stupid and criminal things all the time…
Also my anticipation.
Iran is easy accessible from Iraq among others. US cant make an open war because Iran could close the Hormuz street, but US will probably do it by proxies ISIS a la Libya and Syria or similar, trying to stirr up Iran from within.
[Note: this comment was (correctly) intercepted by the moderators. But I decided to restore it because that would give me the option to reply. The Saker]
Is the writer of this blog a homophobic asshole?
Yes. I say yes because anybody who nowadays dares to say that homosexuality is a psychopathology immediately becomes the object of such labels. Still, let me clarify: “homophobic” – I neither fear nor hate homosexuals (these are the meanings of “phobia”). If anything, I feel sorry for them as I would for any sexually dysfunctional person. Asshole? Funny that you would use that as a slur. Should that not be high praise in your mouth? Who would have thought that homosexuals were hostile to things anal ;-P
One more thing: please understand that labels like “homophobic asshole” don’t intimidate or offend me. If anything, they are a expression the frustration caused by your psychological, physiological, intellectual and spiritual sterility and by your lack of coherent arguments. It also shows the hypocrisy of those who demand tolerance for them but do not tolerate those who dare disagree. It’s a sordid and fake world you live in, and I am sorry for you.
Thank you for your reply Saker. One of those rare occasions one can see in writing the hypocritical stance of the so called “cultural marxists” (“trotsies” in my lexicon) who demand legal and public recognition for all imaginable deviations, discriminations and preferences, yet do not accord to others their right to be normal and express their revulsion to practices contra natura and anti-social because, let’s face it, homosexuality has no useful social function and threatens society’s survival.
It may be opportune to narrate a historical event where homosexuality was the dominant cause for the end of one of Europe’s most brilliant dynasties. It may sound like a fairy tale gone wrong, but it is true and the historians among you will recognise the country concerned.
A sole child prince and heir to the throne was placed under the spiritual tutorship of a celebrated Dominican friar who infected the child with the clap. The prince grew in a permanent state of shame and withdrawal from social interactions, his main and only interests being the martial arts and hunting to project a manly image. The courtiers and advisers made many attempts to secure a marriage to the handsome prince among the princesses of the most famous reigning houses of Europe but, as a foreign chronicler of the time reported, ” He has no desire for that which men desire most. The power of feminine beauty was banished from his eyes, there was never a woman whom he courted…a young and handsome sovereign prince detested his own nature and the marriage bed.”
The prince obstinately refused to entertain marriage and when he became king at 18 years of age his main concern was to continue the crusade against Islam. Against the advice of all counsellors and other kings he prepared an army and sailed away to fight the infidels. The army trundled on towards the enemy and the king, again against the field commanders’ advice, ordered forced marches instead of resting the troops before battle. An easy prey, the enemy attacked and the king’s army was routed. He saw it coming and, instead of fleeing, the king alone charged against the enemy and was never seen again.
Being the last of an illustrious family line the throne was claimed by a foreign king as the next of kin and that was the beginning of the end of an empire.
“Brideshead Revisited” may give another clue. The young king was tormented by his condition and sought suicide as the only escape. Pity he took an army and a country with him.
Obviously that was a made-up story. The Prince and later King you are talking about, Sebastian of the House of Aviz in Portugal. Was not historically known to be homosexual. And unless there is some compelling evidence I haven’t seen.I’m not buying it.
@ Uncle Bob
I know you have a vast historical background but I wouldn’t expect you to know the nitty-gritty of all historical events.
The story, brief as told, is true. That is, it is the only possible explanation for those events and is based on many contemporaneous accounts of eyewitnesses and official dispatches in foreign courts. The queen of France, Catherine de Medici wanted to marry her daughter Margaret to Sebastian, and so did the emperor Maximilian to wed his daughter Elisabeth to the prince, as well as king Phillip of Spain who proposed his daughter Isabella Eugenia. In fact all queens and kings of Europe wanted to have their daughters to marry him.
Until news of the “secret” were spread out among the crowns of Europe, probably by king Phillip himself for reasons of state (Sebastian was his nephew) when the marriage proposals fizzled out. At 10 years of age the prince suffered from gonorrhoea and it remained untreated passed on as nocturnal emissions, improbable for such young age, and their frequency.
Of course the official history never mentioned anything remotely associated with pederasty. The explanation for his misogyny was attributed to his devotion to spiritual affairs, which contrasts with the numerous accounts of his nightly escapades through the unsavoury quarters of Lisbon and the woods of Cintra.
The expedition to North Africa served as a heroic cover for his suicide.
And his tutor was a Jesuit.
The story is not so much about ‘homosexuality’ but about ‘pedophilia’. Can we resist such a juicy story of ‘pedophilia’ of the Catholic Church and the suggestion that the Crusades against Islam were just the product of disturbed personalities?
His case is taken up now not as the sordid story that it was, but as illustrative for the ‘tragic victim of sexual abuse with all its physical and psychological consequences’ perpetrated by the Catholic Church for centuries.
Evelyn Waugh was a ‘bi’ himself.
This is not to deny that there is circumstantial evidence that the young king had homosexual proclivities.
Homosexuality as an ideology is the most genocidal one. If we are all to subscribe to it, human life would go extinct within one generation.
Homosexuality as something “natural”. What is more natural, continuation of life or mimicking some anomalies in the animal world?
In short, homosexual ideology is just a tool for depopulation.
Homosexuality as something “natural.”
So is tuberculosis
In other words, the argument is moral, not about what is natural. I agree. So it would be helpful if someone could come up with a credible argument for imposing prohibitions or penalties on homosexuals or otherwise discriminating against them. The most usual efforts fall back on the assertion that God disapproves – which assumes we know there is a God and know what God thinks, and no-one has yet come up with a credible argument for either.
Saker, it astonishes me that a former analyst as yourself would consider the US to be at a military disadvantage. On what specific set of views is that apparent? Knowing that a society can be defeated a number of different ways – economically, militarily, biologically, psychologically, or even just through natural disasters where food, water and shelter are not available – I would find it amiss to focus on a few specific programs (e.g. F-35, Nuclear missiles), which themselves require detailed knowledge of classified information that you are not privy to, to produce a true and valid estimate. So instead of even mentioning the asymmetrical tools in the Empire’s tool kit, let’s instead revisit so-called the strategic failure of some military programs. Let’s take the F-35 for example. Clearly this plane is not as maneuverable or stealthy as other aircraft fielded by China or Russia, especially. But do you really believe the nation was so overcome with corruption that they just threw away 500 billion+ but still kept their machinations for global world hegemony? Is that your best analysis? What if, for example, the F-35 is exactly what it was supposed to be – a net-centric, communications aircraft that can also field missiles. What if it’s stealth was only important at a stand off distance within a locale? What if the overall goal was a modern comm. mothership, so to speak, that was not intended to be the spear of attack but manage other aircraft in the theatre? Or other drones, or missiles, or decoys, etc. I think the more probably reaction when there’s an apparent illogical fielding of an aircraft by a nation that leads the world in air superiority, would be to conclude you are missing something important. Since saturation and advanced autonomy coupled with revolutions in manufacturing and materials science allow for a game-changing approach to fielding very unique, capable and tactically superior approaches to aircrafts and missiles, and since this overall approach to how to defeat air defences via saturation and intelligent design has decades of formulation behind it (studied by RAND, Pentagon, AirForce, Naval research, MIT labs, Stanford, Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, Aerospace Corporation, etc, etc) I would be willing to put my money that the apparent deficiencies are due to a poor awareness on the viewer and not a glaring systemic problem.
There are way too many misconceptions in your post for me to deal with them here. I would just point you to this: http://thesaker.is/debunking-popular-cliches-about-modern-warfare/ in the hope that you find at least some of it sufficient to rethink what you think you now know.
What if the overall goal was a modern comm. mothership, so to speak, that was not intended to be the spear of attack but manage other aircraft in the theatre?
What other aircraft? F-15/16/18? Also, it’s called an E-2/E-3 and these at least can fly in thunderstorms :-)

When is the last time the USA actually won a real war? Don’t you see that all the organizations you mention are part of the problem and that they make a living lying. Inside the beltway this is called ‘where I sit is where I stand’. Everybody knows about it too. If you are willing to bet your money on what they say, I got plenty of bridges to sell to you :-)
If is really so hard for your to realize that you have been lied to? What would it take for your to accept it? A defeat against Iran maybe?
Its a multi-role aircraft with costs subsidized over an empire of nation-states but built here:
It’s not a air defence breaker, but a way to manage many needs.
I am familiar with the E-3. Maybe there’s redundancies in the structure and maybe there’s local command and control and theatre-wide.
Some publicly known drones/missiles that they allowed to be shown:
Russia has succeeded in protecting herself in spite of all odds and remained capable of potentially destroying the US. That’s all that matters and what helps prevent complete uni-polarity by a nation with severe corruption habits. Hopefully things are changing for the better and the fifth column globalists will disappear:
“Its a multi-role aircraft” which is the major criticism from Sprey (how was co-designer of F-16), and he makes sense to me. Jack of all trades, master of none, does not cut it in competition with other specialized aircraft, and it is compromised for any of its roles — aside from all the problems it has been having. It’s like a Swiss army knife which is OK in a pinch but can’t function well as a blade, screwdriver, can opener, or any other dedicated tool, and is heavy, bulky, and expensive.
As Sprey says, it’s real function is to spend money.
and other criticisms from Pierre Sprey.
In 1994 Clinton considered to attack North Korea again.
“Bill Clinton and William Perry, his Defense secretary, considered going to war against Pyongyang in 1994. On May 19 of that year, Perry, along with the then Joint Chiefs chairman, John Shalikashvili, and the commander of U.S. forces in South Korea at the time, Gen. Gary Luck, briefed the president on the anticipated costs of such a war: roughly 52,000 U.S. military killed or wounded; 490,000 South Korean military ditto, and untold numbers of Northern dead and civilian casualties, all in the first 90 days of conflict—together with a U.S. price tag of more than $61 billion. Luck later calculated the ultimate toll at more than 1 million dead, possibly including as many as 100,000 Americans, and a final bill to U.S. taxpayers in excess of $100 billion—not to mention more than $1 trillion in damage to South Korea’s economy.”
I agree with Kirov: Trump is a plant. And Trump is about to run the same con job on the
American people that Hitler did on the German people.
Hitler and his inner circle were Jewish working for the deep state. Trump and his inner circle
are also Jewish working for the deep state. What Hitler did for the German people in WWII,
Trump would do for the American people in WWIII, if not for global warming which is
signaling near term extinction.
I, myself, nearly 70 years old and holding a certificate of non Jewish ownership issued to my father by the third Reich, would like to inject a remark about the Jews – this in response to a significant and ill-considered population of remarks I have read at Saker over many months of dialogue and dialectic.
I grew up with Jews, learned some Yiddish naturally as part of the language, and some Hebrew. Dated Jewish girls…and, withal, married a Jewish lady…and then myself contracted with a Rabbi to study Hebrew and Talmudic Law…yet remained a nominal Quaker. Some of my children decided that they were Jews… In short, friends and comrades, I know a few things about Jews.
It is a great religion. The Jews are great people. It is the font of the religions of the western and much of the eastern lands and of the Sahel… But Zionism is another matter…that’s a long-term intel operation. An anglosaxon NWO operation that traces back to 1914, and even earlier.
Genuine zionism failed before it began, and failed inside the Jewish peoples…when the learned Rabbis, in the 1800’s went out to Palestine and looked – they wrote the cryptic telegram…saying “the bride is beautiful, but she is already married.” Orthodox rejected zionism, and still do.
The intel op called modern Israel or Zionism (large Z) manifests a ruinous civil war inside the Jewish peoples. It also, obviously, is a agency by which a inter-ethnic conflict inside the Semitic people is eating them. It is evident that significantly, the Palestinians are mostly Semitic, whether Jewish of Christian or Moslem, or for that matter, pagans or witches… zionism is liquidating the Semitic people – it does not serve the Jews – but it does serve the globalist agenda…
By repeating the silly distracting disinformation and canards about the Jews, and by conflating these with nonsensical ideas on zionism one assists the anglosaxon intelop.
Is this your goal? I doubt it… Please think things through, friends, and restrain the simplistic and propagandists’ artificially implanted ideas about Jews…
By making the ad hominem attack against Jews an Nth writer simply displays obeisance to the globalists to illustrates an illiterate and naive credulity.
I’m sorry bud, I disagree.
If jews had been exiled, expelled, or otherwise done away with by one or two countries, you could possibly make a case for this fable of “anti-semitism” or that maybe just certain people had a problem with the jews. However, when it gets to the point that you have a list of 109 different exiles from 84 different places, with some of them having to do so repeatedly, one is forced to start looking at the jew it’s self as the problem, and not those attempting to free themselves from the grasp of these parasites.
Just the fact that some countries were forced to repeatedly exile the jews, proves that these are relentless parasites, who will stop at nothing to gain control of our countries, enslave our people, and commit genocide against all peoples of the earth.
This list also dispels the myth that “zionism” (which didn’t appear until 1898) and “zionists” are the root source of today’s problems. Both of these are merely symptoms of a much larger problem with the entire jewish race. None of the countries listed below exiled just some of the jews, and none were foolish enough to simply consider them a religion or ideology. The jews were exiled and expelled as an entire race then, and should be dealt with as an entire race now. Some of these are general uprisings, and not outright exiles of jews.
Anyone doubting the danger of just of jews, needs to see this illustrious list.

Jesus of Nazareth, son of the blessed Mary :
Ezekiel 36:31-32 New International Version (NIV)
31- ‘Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices. 32 – I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Sovereign Lord. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, people of Israel’!
and last but not least……..
John 8:44 New International Version (NIV)
44 – You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
And still you don’t know the Jew.

“Some call it ‘Marxism;’ I call it ‘Judaism.’ — Rabbi Steven Wise (1935)
“The Bolshevik revolution in Russia was the work of Jewish brains, of Jewish dissatisfaction, of Jewish planning, whose goal is to create a new order in the world. What was performed in so excellent a way in Russia, thanks to Jewish brains, and because of Jewish dissatisfaction and by Jewish planning, shall also, through the same Jewish mental and physical forces, become a reality all over the world.” — The American Hebrew, September 10, 1920
How many more do you need ?
They (the children and grandchildren of Lenin and Trotsky) will not be happy until there is another Holocaust of Christians and Muslims in full swing in the Heart of the Anglo-Zionist Empire.
Muslims have lent their hand in the holocaust of Christians. Their playing the victims is a sad parody.
Wiz Oz, don’t be ridiculous. What Holocaust? We already have one group crying night and day about a ‘Holocaust’.
Tell me, when Byzantium fell to the Muslims, was there a massacre? No. When Jerusalem fell to the Crusaders in 1099 A.D., they butchered every living soul. When Baghdad fell and was sacked by the Mongols Hordes, the whole city was slaughtered.
We Muslims have seen ‘Holocaust’s’. Thank you very much. Heck, George W. Bush said the reason he needed to attack Iraq was because of some kind of divine purpose.
The only certifiable ‘Holocaust’s’ in modern history were the extermination of the American Indians by Anglo-Christians, the forced famine in the Ukraine perpetrated by our friendly folks of the Talmudic persuasion, and the Bolshevik Red Terror and the subsequent killing off of 50-70 million souls…again perpetrated by the ‘oh so innocent Jews’. And btw, millions of Russian/Soviet Muslims were dragged to Gulags, and outright genocide.
So spare me, please. Or do I need to remind of the killing of millions in Vietnam and Korea, all at the hands of Anglo-Christians. Who dropped two atomic bombs on civilians in Japan?
Could you fail to bring on the Crusades? What the sack of Baghdad by the Mongols had to do with Christians?
Yes, there was a massacre when the Ottomans conquered Constantinople.
And the Armenians, the Pontic Greeks? You cannot hide that by talking about Vietnamese, Koreans, Japanese.
The Muslims were in Spain for some 850 years, can you name one massacre of Christian civilians (not battlefield loses)?
Instead, Muslims brought about the ‘Enlightenment’, ‘ Renaissance’, chivalry and civility to the, then ‘backwards’ and feudal Christian west.
We taught you how to do things from cooking(spices), dress appropriately, navigate the seas and oceans, perform medicine(surgery, even address mental health), philosophy , mathematics, and all forms of science.
Harun Rashid, the Caliph of the time, from Al- Raqqa, sent an automatic clock as a gift to Charlemagne. He and his senior advisors and wizards couldn’t figure out how it was working by itself, so they decided it was the work of the devil, and had it burned.
The Islamic Golden Age, took from past civilizations knowledge(like every peoples do), corrected and expanded upon it, and brought it to Christendom. And what did the world of Islam get back?
War, occupation, subversion, coups, colonialism, outright theft of resources, all done systematically for centuries. Shame.
In 2015 alone, the Christian countries of the west, dropped 23,144 bombs on majority Muslim countries, in 2016, it was more, 27, 162. Again , shame.
So you see, the Christian west owes the Islamic world an apology and reparations.
And btw, Indonesia , the most populace Islamic country, became so by conversion alone, not one sword was unsheathed. But Jesuits can not claim the same, in their atrocities committed across the globe. When Islamic Spain was no more, Muslims and Jews were forced to convert or die. Ive been to Andalusia, and the Spanish are still reaping in the rewards of Islamic influence to the present day, where millions of tourists come to visit the marvels left behind. But if you go to Madrid, or Barcelona, and you are Arabic, the sense of outright racism reeks to high heaven. Shame.
I truly hope you understand my point(s). Cheers, Salam.
Islam teaches, there is no compulsion in religion.
@ Bored Muslin
You have been saying some truths but you discredit yourself and your good work by stating crap like:
“… and the Bolshevik Red Terror and the subsequent killing off of 50-70 million souls…”
Do yourself a favour and stop repeating the tiresome Anglozionist MSM. I assume you can do additions and subtractions and suggest that you check the demographic records of the USSR. It’s so simple.
I have done a similar exercise because I got tired of the holocaust meme and added up the Jewish population of German occupied countries before and after the WWII plus the Jewish migrants to America and Australia and found out that, roughly, about one million were missing from my calculations, presumably killed or unaccounted for some other reason. So I debunked the myth of the 6 million by doing some simple maths!
The debunking was done from the start. The trial of the Auschwitz guards in Krakow in 1947 quoted unequivocally that “altogether nearly 300,000 from the most different nations died in the Auschwitz concentration camp”, figure confirmed at the trial of the “bookkeeper” of Auschwitz, Oscar Groening in 2015:
“A 94-year-old German who worked as a bookkeeper at the Auschwitz death camp has been convicted of being an accessory to the murder of 300,000 people and sentenced to four years in prison, in what could be one of the last big Holocaust trials”.
“I’ve never seen a President — I don’t care who he is — stand up to the Jews. They always get what they want. If the American people understood what a grip these people have got on our government, they would rise up in arms.”— Admiral Thomas Moorer, Chairman, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, 1970-74
“A state that treated Jews as Israel treats gentiles would be condemned outright as Nazi-like. But Israel is called “democratic,” even “pluralistic.”” – Joseph Sobran – The Jewish Establishment
jew Lemnitzer, Operation Northwoods
“We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba,” and, “casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation.”
Makes you think twice about 9-11, doesnt it! Wait, now for the grand finale-
“OUR RACE IS THE MASTER RACE. WE ARE DIVINE GODS ON THIS PLANET. WE ARE AS DIFFERENT FROM THE INFERIOR RACES AS THEY ARE FROM INSECTS. IN FACT, COMPARED TO OUR RACE, OTHER RACES ARE BEASTS AND ANIMALS, CATTLE AT BEST. OTHER RACES ARE CONSIDERED AS HUMAN EXCREMENT. OUR DESTINY IS TO RULE OVER THE INFERIOR RACES. OUR EARTHLY KINGDOM WILL BE RULED BY OUR LEADER WITH A ROD OF IRON. THE MASSES WILL LICK OUR FEET AND SERVE US AS OUR SLAVES.”
Jewish Ambassador from Austria to London, Count Mensdorf, 1918
“Israel won the war [WW I]; we made it; we thrived on it; we profited from it. It was our supreme revenge on Christianity.”
And you quote that jewish rag as holy writ! Of course there were jewish freeloaders in the Bolshevik train and, being more educated than the average Russian (Lenin: “Show me a literate Russian and I see a Jew”) they were overrepresented in the leadership of the Bolshevik Party – and also on the Menshevik side for good measure. But that’s a far cry from being the brains and muscle of the Revolution.
They were anti-Tsarists but they were in the Bolshevik Party for themselves (so much so that they formed a clique inside the party), not for the Russian people, whom they deeply despised.
In the short heyday of socialism in the US (1910-20s) the Jews made a lot of exorbitant claims about their revolutionary prowess but not anymore – because now they are in charge.
in the US (1910-20s) the Jews made a lot of exorbitant claims about their revolutionary prowess but not anymore – because now they are in charge.
In other words, they succeeded. Proving that their claims were not exorbitant (as you allege).
As for the “They just happened to be attempted evasion of responsibility (by admitting they are habitual liars),
“You must understand that the leading Bolsheviks who took over Russia were not Russians. They hated Russians. They hated Christians. Driven by ethnic hatred they tortured and slaughtered millions of Russians without a shred of human remorse. More of my countrymen suffered horrific crimes at their blood stained hands than any people or nation ever suffered in the entirety of human history.
It cannot be overstated. Bolshevism committed the greatest human slaughter of all time. The fact that most of the world is ignorant or uncaring about this enormous crime is proof that the global media is in the hands of its perpetrators.” — Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
I think you have exposed the inevitable flaw of which we all are subject to, even the most rational: yours is your ridiculous anticommunism. I understand that most people, especially the Americans, by virtue of incessant official propaganda and the cultural milieu that conditions their thinking, are unable to have a lucid appreciation of world affairs. In other words, let’s be charitable, their ignorance is justifiable.
But it is a different thing altogether when an educated person capable of independent reasoning spouts the primitive nonsense one would expect from those whose world view was shaped by Readers’ Digest.
Be honest to yourself and do a crash course on Communism from Francois Noel Babeuf and the French Revolution to the death of Stalin when revisionism started. Never too late to learn something unless one is blinded by sectarianism.

“Blinded” the way — presumably — the Russian Orthodox people outside Russia are ?
The Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) has called for Vladimir Lenin’s body to be removed from Red Square as a demonstration of the Russian people’s reconciliation with God.
I like what you said.
Among the Jews, the Muslim and the Christian (Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox) one can find fabulous people which came very close to the Creator or even merged with Him in spite of very imperfect teaching ( Bible, Coran or the New testament) which are essentially political tools.
The problem with people are usually not the individual but the community When the communities are using the people to achieve secular objective and ambition, they are abusing people with hoaxs and selling them Dreams to be delivered after the death. Most communities are runned by liars, thieves and murderers, the Jewish community is not an exception. The Wahabites sending very young people to blow themselves against ennemies letting them believe that they are going to Paradise is an example of what can do a community. The French or German communities sending theirs children to die in the trenchs during the first world war is a similar example.
Coming back to the Jewish people, for me, inside the overall Jewish community, there is a small group first in the UK and the US which has sponsored the Russian revolution, the creation of Israel and the New World Order. All those three things have generated chaos and a lot of suffering. They are also responsible for what is happening in the US today which is awful and Dangerous for the humanity.
I call that community within the community, the Zionists. It may not be the adequate word but it is word I use to try to avoid to be labelled as antisemite which is an anathem. It is almost impossible to have a sincere discussion with the Jews today because fanatism is becoming common among the Jews at least in Europe.
That is why I like what you wrote.
The problem with people are usually not the individual but the community When the communities are using the people to achieve secular objective and ambition, they are abusing people with hoaxs and selling them Dreams to be delivered after the death.
@Jean de Peyrelongue —
This is indeed the case. But as someone speaking from inside the Judahist community, you surely know that this sowing of bitter hatred is not something occasional or opportunistic in Judaism, but intrinsic to it.
You will similarly know that selling people dreams of after-death victory are, to an outsider, not different from selling them dreams of victory here in the material world — ruling the goyim with a rod or iron (a dream the Bolsheviks succeeded in making a reality).
inside the overall Jewish community, there is a small group first in the UK and the US which has sponsored the Russian revolution, the creation of Israel and the New World Order.
I cannot dispute your estimate of their small numbers, any more than you can “prove” the contention that these people were/are a relative minority within world Jewry. But what I do know, and can demonstrate by citing many historical examples, is that — exactly as you say — when there is conflict with the goyim, and push comes to shove, Jews support the Jews involved. Not because they are in the right, but because they are Jews. Tribal identity, pure and simple.
When the first question always asked about any development or prospect is “Is it good for the Jews ?”, the “small group” idea you present is exposed as a joke. There is no validity to the “small group” claim you advance, hoping to excuse the rest. Group solidarity and co-operation has been the key to the dominance of Judahists over their host populations for nearly 2,000 years.
I agree with you about the existence of decent (even genuinely noble) Jews in the world. But when group identity is triggered, the picture changes. As I am sure you know but find it inexpedient to mention.
A Christian wishes to deal with a Jew on an individual basis. But when he finds that he is dealing with him as a local representative of a collective of millions, he comes to view the matter in its proper light.
The real “Dream” being sold, IMO, is that matters stand otherwise.
Not only do you ‘Talk to Cats’, but you talk to me. I love it! Thank you! Super! Somebody else who is not afraid.
What if people speaking out against the Jews as a tribe are not doing so out of hate?
What if they’ve discovered that this tribe has seized control of positions of power and influence to enforce a self-serving Global Jewish Agenda?
What if they are doing it because they see the plight of humanity with all of its wars, poverty and unnessesary suffering?
What if they are trying to awaken you out of love and compassion and people mistaken it for racism and hatred?
Losing a war and being invaded is exactly what out of control, terrorist Markus needs.
It is always a pleasure to read Saker’s analyses. Still, in a dialectical spirit, (thesis, antithesis and synthesis), the suicide of the US Empire is greatly exaggerated, (marktwainly speaking). Or rather, it depends on whom we deem the victors and losers, or even on how we define victory.
There is one sect that, one way or another, has already won. 2/3 of the so-called neo-cons are hard-core Talmudists and the remainders are Zionists by opportunity or election. Like ex-VP Biden, who even suggested some kind of DNA superiority in the Talmudic race.
Those familiar with the Yinon plan and the Coudeneuve-Kalergi plan for Europe cannot deny that both enterprises are progressing at steady or increasing pace. Europe is a de-facto AngloZionist colony.
Hopes in Trump are understandable, but to expect something even mildly resembling an ideological shift in directions is unjustified. Blogs like this give us hope but the “multitude that choose by show” is unmoved.
Furthermore too many snouts are feeding at the trough of exceptionalism, which is the edulcorated domestic version of Talmudism.
Some say that it’s too soon to judge Trump, but his actions are perplexing – such as more troops deployed in Syria and soon in Afghanistan. And if it is not his decision, then the presidency is a farce.
Remember, the ‘American political class’ could not conceive of the idea of Donald Trump even winning the Republican nomination, and the same ‘American political class’ thought that Hillary was a shoe-in to win the general election.
Just a couple of more dots to connect in their great prognostication losing streak that goes back at least as far as thinking that the Iraqi people would greet them waving little American flags and that their oil would pay for the invasion.
I’m not sure what the beer company world record for would-be rulers of the world being so wrong so many times in a row, but ‘the American political class’ is going for it.
The Saker hit the core reason on the head in an opening paragraph … they believe their own propaganda, ….. about everything. And they’ve become so indoctrinated in this belief that anyone who tries to tell them anything different is automatically a traitor and an enemy. Speaking truth this this power has become a very dangerous act.
@“Suicide by reality denial”:
Reality denial is also when you refuse to see the signs:
“The Member of the Russian Parliament and former prosecutor of the Crimea, Natalia Poklonskaya, has stated that a statue of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II, situated near the building of the Crimean prosecutor’s office, wept myrrh on the hundredth anniversary of the so-called Russian Revolution. According to her, this happened on the morning of Friday 3 March. She stated this on the “Constantinople” TV channel, said the website pravoslavie.ru”
Germany is a fullgrade Nazi-DICTATORSHIP, if you refuse to pay 450EUR of illegal GEZ Propaganda-fees *this* happens:
“I could list many more types of suicides including an economic suicide, a social suicide, an educational suicide, a cultural suicide and, of course, a moral suicide. But others have already done that elsewhere, and much better than I could ever do myself.”
I respectfully disagree. Please. Continue.
I fully agree with Larchmonter445 [on March 12, 2017 · at 6:15 am UTC] that rumors of the empire’s imminent death have always been greately exagerated, not just recently but for the last 25 years or so. Even in the 80s there were already movies with titles like the Decline of the American Empire and whatnot. One of the least appealing features of this site is the ease with which it keeps predicting the fall of the hegemon any moment now. It is one thing to predict that the US as a society will become fully 3rd world or worse, a totalitarian dystopia. It’s already halfway there. It is a completely different thing to predict that the pehenomenal accumulation of sheer power (cultural, military and finalcial) that this empire has put together, is something that can just collapse spontaneously. These things don’t collapse spontaneously and rapidly. And the example of the Soviet “collapse” is false. That was no more a spontaneous collapse than the trade center towers were. Don’t confuse Grand Collapse with Grand Theft.
On the other hand I find it amusing that Larchmonter supposes that “defeating” “ISIS” “AQ” (or any other contra-type US creations) will play any role in these processes of empire slow deterioration. As if things like “ISIS” “Al Quaeda” and so on were in any sense autonomous self-sustaining entities, as if they did not get *everything* from their creator on a daily basis. Amazing nonsense if you ask me.
From one Anon to another. You may not believe this, but after reading your comment suddenly it hit me: I thought I had written it! But I did not remember having done it so I was forced to admit that you are my alter ego!
Funny! You said what I have been saying for donkeys, namely the empire (and capitalism) are not going to collapse on their own as speculated by theories of ever diminishing returns of capital or the increased complexity of modern systems. Once I even quoted a british newspaper in the 1820s where it was said that capitalism was in dire straits, stumbling from crisis to crisis. Note, that was when young Marx was still at uni.
Things, particularly empires, don’t collapse on their own; there must be a push by something to counteract the force of inertia.
A small point, but one that indicates a gaping hole where an argument ought to be. No doubt the argument can be made, perhaps has been elsewhere, but a slipshod slogan here in its place really shouldn’t be acceptable to the author (I pompously suggest):
“…decrees that deviant behavior is healthy and normal…”
No-one claims that behaviour that deviates from the norm is normal. A “straw man”? There appears to be an assumption that the norm, and only the norm, is healthy. And there appears to be an equivocation on “healthy”. “Deviant” behaviour is not self-evidently bad for the health of those who engage in it, or of anyone else.
“Deviant” behaviour is not self-evidently bad for the health of those who engage in it, or of anyone else.
As an absolute statement (one subsuming all deviancies) this is a self-evidently silly claim (a slogan thoughtlessly repeated), betraying failure (or refusal) to acknowledge that behaviors (deviant and other) can be considered in the abstract, but have real-world consequences.
In slogan world, there are no alcoholic fathers who abuse their families or killing themselves in drunken vehicle accidents, leaving their families impoverished. Or heroin addicts reduced to stealing and prostitution to fund their addictions. Or promiscuous people spreading incurable venereal diseases. Or homosexuals out seeking to subvert adolescents.
In the end, all the old cliches are true. That’s why they’re cliches.
Good retort. However, it is not self-evidently bad for anyone’s health just because it deviates from the norm. It requires a further argument. You cite some examples where not purely by coincidence most of us would agree the further argument is easy to make. I’m confident you can think of examples where most of us would agree the argument can’t be made.
Agreed ! You are right.
I posted this note before but it seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle.
This is one the best things I have read on American Empire anywhere and reflects what I’ve learned over the years about the radical decline of Empire I have seen in my lifetime which is due, chiefly as Saker says, to plain old corruption which I’ve seen close up as a government contractor. But the main problem we have today in the USA is that the people are confused, anxious, depressed, in pain and seek escape particularly into fantasy. Most people simply do not want to know the truth about politics, economics or even their own lives so burdened are we with decades of mind-control that is increasingly hard to resist. It takes an active person willing to break out of the pack and lose friends to question the current mythological framework. Fortunately it’s beginning to happen–but will it happen fast enough to avoid catastrophe? It just might.
Borrow more zeroes at private bank’s interest’s interest created from thin air?
The US Government Now Has Less Cash Than Google
[Trump] seems to have his heart in the right place… LOL I thought I would pee my pants.
Trump is an ignorant fool who can only lie to save his entitled place in the world.
Your incontinence problem could be greatly reduced if you allowed yourself more time before passing a final judgment on people and maybe also make the difference between hope and expectations.
Those who swallow too much propaganda seem to forget that Mr. Trump was a very successful businessman. He did make 2 billion dollars. And like Pink Floyd once said, when it comes to money, they ain’t giving none away. So, while it says nothing about a man’s morals, having earned 2 billion dollars is probably pretty good proof that Mr. Trump is not an ‘ignorant fool’. At this point, that sort of rhetoric only points to someone who watches too much American TV.
A well-written article but for one mistake. North Korea is *not* an enemy of the USA, *but* a unified Korea would be utterly unacceptable to Japan. North Korea is demonised for one reason and one reason only- to prevent a reunification of Korea.
I am old enough to recall when the same nonsense was stated by the mainstream media against East Germany, and how the sheeple were told the ‘two’ Germanys would take many decades to reunify, even if the process began at that very moment. Today, the leading politicians in Germany are all of East German origin- but few sheeple even notice this.
South Korea has a high-tech economy of world leading status. North Korea does the heavy engineering and WMD research and development. Together, Japan’s centuries old *slave* state would replace Japan overnight as the no.2 regional power to China. Japan is a deeply racist and jingoistic society. It would not tolerate being demoted to third place, and would launch a war against an embryo united Korea.
The true motivations behind geo-politics are never the frontline lies sprouted daily in the mainstream media. Empire power plays are not honestly described to sheeple. The Far East is a massive powder key waiting to explode, because events after WW2 simply nailed down hard a lid on all the unresolved simmering tensions. The usual delying tactic of “war is bad for businesss” was used to distract China, Japan, Korea Vietnam etc as each was given a rapidly growing business economy. But after decades of American and European assistance, Japan is a decaying trading state. Japan’s last gasp was assisting China to grow its high tech industries.
America’s no.1 strategy is maintaining the increasing fragile post WW2 status quo in the Far East- but this won’t last much longer.
“Today, the leading politicians in Germany are all of East German origin”
How interesting. No wonder Germany is in such a terrible mess. Easties are often quite odd- more often than not anyway. Usually terrible socialists as well. No future with socialists running anything.
It would be far better for the ordinary person if the work of Bismark was undone and Germany returned to being a collection of Principalities, City-States and Kingdoms etc. Time for political de-unification of Germany.
“Japan is a deeply racist and jingoistic society. It would not tolerate being demoted to third place, and would launch a war against an embryo united Korea.”
What would not tolerate being demoted? The society, politicians, military officers, bankers or what? Are you saying the Japanese people themselves would not tolerate such a theoretical “demotion” and hence would launch war against a unified Korea? And how could this be accomplished? Japan is collapsing economically. It has serious demographic issues. Its military is weak. Its society is not pro-offensive-war anyway.
Don’t forget that Japan has been demoted from first place in Asia already. China has come from behind to easily take the lead economically. Has this resulted in an invasion of China by Japan? No? So why would going from 2nd to 3rd result in war when going from 1st to 2nd did not?
“Easties are often quite odd- more often than not anyway. Usually terrible socialists as well. No future with socialists running anything.” – That’s true, but you forget something : namely, those eastern “socialists” of today, were the ones who made the betray of the real socialism. They got their 30 silvers for that.
I think of them less as ‘socialists’ than as ‘Trotskyites’.
Never forget what Trotsky did to Mexico. He set them back many generations.
If not for the (Christian) Cristero ‘Rebellion'[sic] all Mexicans would be slaves today.
One of the greatest tragedies is that Japan and China should/could work “together”,instead of being rivals.
Commander of Asa’eb al-Haq Movement affiliated to the Iraqi popular forces of Hashd al-Shaabi said that the US forces have carried out a rapid heliborne operation and evacuated two commanders of ISIL terrorists from Western Mosul in Northern Iraq.
Destroying the evidence.

Why a 400-Year Program of Modernist Thinking is Exploding
Posted on March 10, 2017 by Yves Smith
By Lynn Parramore, Senior Research Analyst at the Institute for New Economic Thinking. Originally published at the Institute for New Economic Thinking website
Across the globe, a collective freak-out spanning the whole political system is picking up steam with every new “surprise” election, rush of tormented souls across borders, and tweet from the star of America’s great unreality show, Donald Trump.
But what exactly is the force that seems to be pushing us towards Armageddon? Is it capitalism gone wild? Globalization? Political corruption? Techno-nightmares?
Rajani Kanth, a political economist, social thinker, and poet, goes beyond any of these explanations for the answer. In his view, what’s throwing most of us off kilter — whether we think of ourselves as on the left or right, capitalist or socialist —was birthed 400 years ago during the period of the Enlightenment. It’s a set of assumptions, a particular way of looking at the world that pushed out previous modes of existence, many quite ancient and time-tested, and eventually rose to dominate the world in its Anglo-American form.
We’re taught to think of the Enlightenment as the blessed end to the Dark Ages, a splendid blossoming of human reason. But what if instead of bringing us to a better world, some of this period’s key ideas ended up producing something even darker?
Kanth argues that this framework, which he calls Eurocentric modernism, is collapsing, and unless we understand why and how it has distorted our reality, we might just end up burnt to a crisp as this misanthropic Death Star starts to bulge and blaze in its dying throes.
A Mass Incarceration of Humanity
Kanth’s latest book, Farewell to Modernism: On Human Devolution in the Twenty-First Century, tells the history of a set of bad ideas.
Excellent summary of what many of us have been thinking, but don’t have a full grasp of.
Thank you Saker!

The Dance of Death
Posted on Mar 12, 2017
By Chris Hedges
The ruling corporate elites no longer seek to build. They seek to destroy. They are agents of death. They crave the unimpeded power to cannibalize the country and pollute and degrade the ecosystem to feed an insatiable lust for wealth, power and hedonism. Wars and military “virtues” are celebrated. Intelligence, empathy and the common good are banished. Culture is degraded to patriotic kitsch. Education is designed only to instill technical proficiency to serve the poisonous engine of corporate capitalism. Historical amnesia shuts us off from the past, the present and the future. Those branded as unproductive or redundant are discarded and left to struggle in poverty or locked away in cages. State repression is indiscriminate and brutal. And, presiding over the tawdry Grand Guignol is a deranged ringmaster tweeting absurdities from the White House.

Chris Hedges and Poet Linh Dinh on the ‘Irrevocable Decline of the American Empire’ (Video)

Not even a ‘major’ power if civil war Balkanises the USA. It may take a thirty-year war to stabilise into many fragmented but semi-stable states. We have seen this movie before in the history of other regions/nations. And all bets are off if nuclear weapons are used in the civil war.
Dear Saker, thanks for another brilliant article. There is nothing I can disagree with here. Our hopes are that Trump’s highest beliefs prevail and he will listen to others who think outside the box the neocons and MIC have created for themselves.
I recently saw an article which started out by saying something to the effect that Seoul is beyond the range of “most of North Korea’s artillery.” That may be technically true, but seems to try to whistle past the fact that it’s not beyond the range of all of North Korea’s artillery. Few Americans seem to have noticed that once the decision is taken to send troops to battle it takes months to position the supplies and equipment they will need and get the troops themselves into position. There are individual units that can react faster, 75th Rangers, 101st and 86th Airborne, Delta Force, but in general you are not going to have a regular division ready to go to war in less than three months. Most enemies will not be as accommodating as Saddam Hussein was.
The anti-Russian McCarthyism that has spread out from the United States to encompass the European Union, Canada and Australia has at its core an implicit recognition that neoliberal economics and neoconservative foreign policy have failed.
When I recently asked a European journalist why this anti-Russian hysteria had taken root among mainstream European political parties, he answered with a question: “Do you think they can run on their success in handling the recession and the refugees?”
“But the clock is running out fast.” Months? Years? Decades?
The clock has been running out here since roughly 1973. Gradually but inexorably.
The response to the growing awakening of the US and Western captive peoples is to “shut it down”.
They have no answers to the truth that are plausible and they no longer have anything to provide to the majority of us to convince us that the system works for us.
This is the prelude to collapse.
When people no longer have a stake or trust in a system it has to die.
The level of disloyalty and corruption among high-ranking US Navy officers is astounding!
To say nothing of their bad judgement.
Nice try, that’s written like 介錯人, but I’m not so happy to see some Russian showing that stuff off, meddling, when the Russian man seems to know nothing about my country, has nothing to really worry about.
Be careful man, I am a Japanese local, very ordinary one, sometimes watching here.
This time way of reference is pretty much offensive, most likely you better edit that part.
Don’t forget that the Anglo Zionists always have a Plan B and if the past is any guide to the future, then they are currently financing both legs of the Hegelian Dialectic. The Brits have been in China since before the Opium Wars and if the Russian Bolsheviks are a guide, they were in there at Revolution time. Since WWII Taiwan has funneled New York Money in too and we all know where that came from in the first place. Ditto India and the Mother of All Multinationals the BEIC – Rothschild is on the record from Disraeli’s time and later after 1947 for wanting to guard the Suez to protect investments in the East. Russian Oligarchs must have been financed for their acquisitions, coming from nowhere, even if the amounts were pifling compared to the loot, it still ran to the hundreds of millions. Secret partnership agreements with the likes of J P Morgan and the Robber Barons after 1870 for a precedent – horses for courses and all that. They might try to get rid of Putin, then what? South Africa with the Rhodes movement and Brazil with the current “Legal” Coup and that takes care of the BRICS. Depressing huh? Your Spiritual answer is best.
1. You cannot deny that trump is as “neocon” as the rest of them, actions speak, not words.
2. Therefore you must admit that the anti-trump stuff from the left was phony as heck
Motive? Deeper than politics, the attention and minds of the sheep to continue the farcical , evil as f*ckk, pretense.
