There should be no doubt that the current Western elite have a strong desire to eradicate the traditional Orthodox Faith from the world. Efforts by globalists to undermine Orthodoxy are well-documented, and on the second day of Russia’s military operation in the Ukraine the head of the UK’s MI-6 Richard Moore tweeted out this sparkling gem: ‘With the tragedy and destruction unfolding so distressingly in Ukraine, we should remember the values and hard won freedoms that distinguish us from Putin, none more than LGBT+ rights. So let’s resume our series of tweets to mark #LGBTHM2022’.
However, because of the West’s aforementioned proxy war against Russia in the Ukraine, a momentous event in world history could be in the process of unfolding: the reconversion of Western Europe to the Orthodox Faith.
Consider what has transpired: Since February, when Russia entered the Ukraine to end the West’s machinations there, several million Ukrainians have left their country, many of them ending up in Western European countries – 1.5 million in Poland, 1 million in Germany, 150k in the UK, etc.
In most of these places the remnants of post-Great Schism Christianity (Roman Catholicism and Protestantism) have been seeing rapid declines. The following is a report from Germany:
‘The churches in Germany are having to contend with mass disertions again this year. In Munich alone, a total of 26 008 people left the Catholic and Protestant churches by December 15, according to a survey by the dpa news agency. That is almost 4 000 more than in 2021.
‘According to the Berlin civil courts, 18 018 believers in the federal capital turned their backs on the churches in the first three quarters of 2022 alone. That is around 4 000 more exits than in the same period last year.
‘In Hanover, too, the number of believers in the two major Christian denominations declined. By mid-December, 7 000 people had left the church. That’s more than all of 2021, when the number was around 6 600.
‘Last year, the Catholic Church had to cope with the departure of around 360 000 believers. That was a new negative record that could be surpassed in 2022. The Protestants lost around 280 000 members in 2021.
‘As early as mid-December, the Bertelsmann Foundation’s “Religion Monitor” showed that one in four church members in Germany was considering leaving.’
England and Wales have likewise seen a sharp fall in the number of Christians.
All of this no doubt has the Christless Baerbocks and Macrons of the West fiddling with glee, but it is precisely on this point that their Ukraine war may hurt them most noticeably, as the millions of Ukrainian refugees bring their Orthodox Faith to the spiritually starving peoples of Western Europe. To minister to the Ukrainian Christians who have fled the war, the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church has already established 32 parishes in 11 countries of Western Europe. It is conceivable that more could be added.
What is this but the Hand of God intervening in human affairs? The beloved missionary-minded bishop, St John the Wonderworker of Shanghai and San Francisco, saw in the Russian diaspora who fled the demonic rule of the Soviet communists something similar:
‘However, in chastising, the Lord at the same time also shows the Russian people the way to salvation by making it a preacher of Orthodoxy in the whole world. The Russian Diaspora has made all the ends of the world familiar with Orthodoxy, for the mass of Russia, exiles for the most part, is unconsciously a preacher of Orthodox). Everywhere that Russians live there are built small exile churches, or even magnificent churches and often there are services in buildings which have been adapted for this purpose.’
Sadly, neither the Russians nor any other Orthodox Patriarchate have done very much to sow the good seed of Orthodoxy in the West. Now, perhaps, the Ukrainians have been sent abroad by God as ambassadors of the True Christ to a soulsick and despairing West, to turn her back to her roots in the Orthodox Church, to complete the missionary task that others have neglected.
It is an auspicious time, in the midst of the Christmas season. That remarkable hierarch, that new Golden Tongue and Martyr, St Hilarion Troitsky, contrasts the destructive pride of modern Western European atheism with the life-imparting power of unpretentious faith in the Incarnate Logos:
‘Why is there such a relationship to the incarnation of the Son of God? It seems that the roots of this relationship are deeply seated in the moral self-awareness of modern man. This self-awareness is mainly proud. And what does it mean to believe in the incarnation? It means, first of all, merely to confess that earlier, human nature was very good. It came that way from the hands of the Creator. Human freedom brought sin, the breakdown of man’s nature, and “a civil war began in human nature,” as one holy father writes. By abusing his freedom, man so corrupted his nature that he could only exclaim, “I am an accursed, wretched man!” I cannot save myself. We need a new creation, we need an inpouring of new, grace-filled strength. This is what all mankind should say in order to believe in the incarnation of the Son of God. Such a humble awareness, such a humble confession of our weakness, our guilt before the work of God’s hands—is this in the spirit of modern man? But the modern consciousness is penetrated with the idea of evolution, the idea of progress; that is, with the very ideas that can feed human pride.
‘Christianity requires a humble awareness. My forefather, Adam, was perfect, but I, mankind, introduced only sin and corruption. The Church calls us to humility when it calls Adam our ancestor. But evolution? Descent from the ape? No matter how modestly we rate ourselves, it is impossible not to think with a certain pride: “After all, I am not an ape; after all, progress is manifest in me.” Thus, by calling the ape our ancestor, evolution feeds human pride. If we compare ourselves to the ape we can be proud of our progress, but if we think of sinless Adam, outward progress losses its value. The progress is external, but it is also a sophisticated sin. If mankind is steadily progressing forward, then we can hope in ourselves. We create ourselves. But the Church says the opposite: “We could not become incorrupt and immortal had not the Incorrupt and Immortal One first become the same as we are.” Believing in the incarnation means confessing that without God, all of mankind is nothing.
‘Throughout the ages, the Church carries the ideal of deification. This ideal is very high, but it demands very much from man. It is unthinkable without the incarnation; it demands first of all that man be humble. Mankind is renouncing this high ideal, and has no need of the incarnation of the Son of God. An infinitely depreciated ideal of life allows man to talk of progress, and gives him the opportunity to be proud of his accomplishments. These two series of ideas make up two different worldviews: that of the Church, and that which is not of the Church. The worldview that is not of the Church—descent from the ape, progress, having no need of and denying the incarnation—is pride. Accepting the incarnation is inseparably bound with humility. Pride wars with the incarnation, as with something unneeded.
‘Taking part in the triumphant Church celebration of the Nativity of Christ, we should shout aloud:
‘Be humble, proud man, and believe in the incarnation of the Only Begotten Son of God!’
The longer the West drags out the war in the Ukraine, the more the Ukrainian refugees will have the opportunity to proclaim, knowingly or unknowingly, the incomparably radiant splendor of the truth of the Incarnation, of Orthodoxy, to the Western European countries where they have taken shelter:
‘Prepare, O Bethlehem, for Eden has been opened to all! / Adorn yourself, O Ephratha, for the tree of life blossoms forth from the Virgin in the cave! / Her womb is a spiritual paradise planted with the Divine Fruit: / If we eat of it, we shall live forever and not die like Adam. / Christ comes to restore the image which He made in the beginning!’
And, therefore, very much contrary to their designs, the Antichrist Elite of Western Europe are hastening their own demise, answering the prayer of the Psalmist that the wicked fall into the snares they have laid for the innocent (Ps. 35:6-8):
‘Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them! For without cause they hid their net for me; without cause they dug a pit for my life. Let ruin come upon them unawares! And let the net which they hid ensnare them; let them fall therein to ruin!’
‘This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes’ (Ps. 118:23).
I wonder if it will stop this kind of thing though – https://www.technocracy.news/geoengineering-startup-company-says-its-already-begun-releasing-particles-into-atmosphere/
Gentleman down my street is living proof. Several times a day he shuffles out to lean on the fence and blow out trillions of PM2.5. This unfortunate victim of kusai-byoo (stink-disease) demonstrates the absence of a benevolent, omnipotent being.
I read that and say too myself wow the shocking ignorance of what the Bible teaches on the subject of climate change is a wonder to behold. A bigger wonder to behold though is the Christian Church along with Judiasm who are just as ignorant of the very scriptures themselves! It truly begins and ENDS with the flood of Noah. If only they knew one of the greatest climatological statements ever spoken by anyone wasn’t it these words by Christ Himself when He was on the road to be crucified? looking at the women and children crying for Him he turned and said to them ‘Don’t cry for me but for yourselves, for if they do these things when the tree is green what will they do when it is dry.’
He said those words knowing full well the promise of droughts that would come upon the nation and true to those words drought was Palestine’s greatest gift. If one studies reads the archaeological record one will find guess what? Exactly, what was warned way back in the words of Deuteronomy:
“In the Middle East, a ~200-year drought forced the abandonment of agricultural settlements in the Levant and northern Mesopotamia. The subsequent return to moister conditions in Mesopotamia promoted settlement of the Tigris-Euphrates alluvial plain and delta, where breachable river levees and seasonal basins may have encouraged early Mesopotamia irrigation agriculture. By 3500 B.C. urban Late Urak society flourished in southern Mesopotamia, sustained by a system of high yield cereal irrigation agriculture with efficient canal transport. Late Urak “colony” settlements were founded across the dry-farming portions of the Near East. But these colonies and the expansion of Late Urak society collapsed suddenly at about 3200 to 3500 B.C. Archaeologists have puzzled over this collapse for the past 30 years. Now there are hints in the paleoclimatic record that it may be related to a short (less than 200 years) but severe drought… Following the return to wetter conditions politically centralized and class-based urban societies emerged and expanded across the riverine and dry-farming landscapes of the Mediterranean, Egypt, and West Africa. The Akkadian empire of Mesopotamia, the pyramid constructing Old Kingdom civilization of Egypt, the Harrapan C3 civilization of the Indus valley, and the Early Bronze III civilization of Palestine, Greece, and Crete all reached their economic peak at about 2300 B.C. This period was abruptly terminated before 2200 B.C. by catastrophic drought and cooling that generated regional abandonment, collapse, and habitat-tracking. Paleo-climatic data from numerous sites document changes in the Mediterranean westerlies and monsoon rainfall during this event, with precipitation reductions of up to 30% that diminished agricultural production from the Aegean to the Indus.”
I once came across a commentator when CAF still had her blog up and he said don’t worry about a changing climate, climate has been changing for thousands of years since the very beginning. Start to worry when it stops changing!
Yeah, we need to be hydrated and so what will they do when the tree is dry? History records for us man instead of turning back to their Creator who brought this upon mankind as a form of discipline and punishment will instead turn to cannibalism the worst form of our Lords words “what will they do when it is dry.”
Does that Ann answer to your “wonder about if that will stop this kind of thing.”
When the day arrives when mankind creates life in a testube will be the day the Creator shows up and says gentlemen that’s far enough and no farther!
Beyond that watch the movie Sunshine and marvel!!! I like the scene where the scientist says I can’t do a thousand calculations in my head grrrr sob!!!!
“It truly begins and ENDS with the flood of Noah.”
— and I suppose you still believe that Noah brought 2 x 2 of each animail ? OK I am not religeous one little bit but I find it amazing that some take solace in fairy tales.
solace in fairy tales lol? Why is it that after some 50 years studying and finding proofs I have yet to find those of you who can bring forward any kind of evidence that the Great Flood of Noah never happened as told. I on the other hand have followed Carl Sagan’s thought that “extraordinary claims requires extraordinary evidence.”
It’s really quit amazing. God can be observed to exist after all!!!!!.
You should reflect on why religion provokes you so, for your own sake.
Watch Graham Hancock on Joe Rogan. Gobelke Tepe in Anatolia was constructed 12,000 years ago a vestige of an ancient culture Plato called Atlantis.
Everything the Global Bankster Cult does is designed to dispirit you.
These freaks get sexual pleasure by doing evil things. In particular, they enjoy humiliating the world population.
The only question is : Are they Satanists or do they only want you to think that they are Satanists?
They have zero psychological freedom.
666 is their name.
They’re not necessarily Satanists. See: Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
And when we mix that disorder with national myths such as “the Chosen race”, “one nation under God”, “the indispensable nation”, “the light of the world”, “manifest destiny” & “American Exceptionalism” one can see how that becomes a lethal cocktail for any group of people not in the ‘in’ group.
Furthermore, when it comes to exceptionalism, its rules are made for other people. Rules don’t apply to the ‘in’ crowd. What they do is right! Why? Because its they who do it.
It can be nothing more than being narcissistic and seeking the power & control over others to compensate for feeling powerless within, i.e. mentally / emotionally.
Often in capitalist societies that power & control is directly related to money since more money gives one greater life opportunity.
But money is only the means to an end. So why does money become so important?
Because wealth confers distinction.
Mr. Garlington, it is clear that the West has been on the trajectory to secularism and the attendant perdition, at an ever accelerating rate, since the initial confessionalization in about 1053, with the triple historical movements of the Renaissance, the Reformation and the Enlightenment, bearing their ultimate fruit in WWI which was the suicide of the “Christian” West, that fruit being the ugly sisters of Marxism, fascism, and liberalism, all promising so Utopia as a counterfeit Kingdom of God or as Eric Voegelin stated, attempting “to immanentize the eschaton.”
Pagans spoke of “fate.” Calvinists use “predestination.” Atheist and their sputniks, including modern apostates and skeptics, use “historical determinism.” Christians, humbled before Christ, use “Providence,” for God “esse” who is completely other wrought the Cosmos, a collection of “ens,” ex nihilo; yet, God is immanent in His Creation. He has entered into it through the Second Person of the Trinity, the Logos, the Christ, whose Incarnation which was and still is, we celebrate at this time.
God’s Providence is inscrutable; yet, those who are humble with an eye of spiritual discernment may apprehend it, even if they do not comprehend it. Thus, your essay calls us to see how Providence works to undermine the wiles of Satan as made manifest in the “plans” of the Collective West. In the crucible of the Fall, God’s wrath, curse and judgment work through the fallen world just as His mercy, grace and redemption work through the fallen world and all – the wrath, the curse, the judgement and the mercy, grace, redemption – vortex onto the Christ in His passion has He gives, for it is not taken, His life for us. In the Old Saxon (Old English) poem “The Dream of the Rood” the Rood or the Cross is represented as a paradox in two kennings: the Victory Beam and the Doom Beam. It is simultaneously both. The thief on the right looked at the crucified Christ and humbled himself. Thus for him, the Cross with the suffering Christ, was the Victory Beam. The thief on the left, rejected the crucified Christ. Thus for him, the Cross became the Doom Beacon.
May our Lord use the suffering of the Ukrainian people in their diaspora , a suffering brought about by the evil of the Collective West, to redeem a remnant in the Collective West itself! His ways are indeed inscrutable!!!
It has been apparent for quite some time that the Orthodox Christians and Shiite Muslims are equally targeted in a kind of religious genocide, but how can this be explained and understood? What is the common denominator which singles them out as a target for persecution, and who is threatened by them?
The common denominator is Western Capitalist greed: both Orthodox and Muslim countries have natural resources to loot: such as oil, other minerals, and (in the case of Russia and the Russian Ukraina) much agricultural land, or (in the case of Serbia and Syria) pipeline transit routes. Western capitalist-owned media demonise Orthodox countries such as Serbia and Russia, or Muslim countries such as Iran and Syria, preparatory to NATZO invading them.
In the case of Syria, Iran and other neighbours of Western capitalist-owned Israel, as well as in the case of Russia and the Russian Ukraina, there is also a strong Zionazi and Ashkenazi expansionist element: read “Two Hundred Years Among Us” by Solzhenitsyn,
The “heretic pope”. The topic has been discussed quite a bit lately, and not always in the anti-Bergoglian media. Here you can read a fairly objective synthesis on the issue. However, the perspective from which it is approached is exclusively Western and is “contaminated” with the disputes between spiritual power and temporal power that arose from the pontificate of Gregory VII. It is interesting to consider the opinion of the orthodox since their theology of patristic roots enriches the panorama. The excellent book by François Dvornik, Byzance et la primauté romaine (Cerf: Paris, 1964) brings an interesting text by Simeon of Thessaloniki, bishop and theologian from the first half of the fifteenth century (can also be seen at PG 155, 120-121) . Following much of the Eastern tradition, he interprets the succession of Peter as a succession in the true faith. Simplifying: the pope is Peter’s successor as long as he preserves the faith; if he loses it, his succession disappears. And he writes: “When the Latins say that the Bishop of Rome is the first, we must not contradict them. This cannot harm the church. Let them only show us that he persists in the faith of Peter and his successors and that he possesses everything that comes from Peter, and then he will be the first, the chief and the head of all, the Supreme High Priest. For all this has been said of the patriarchs of Rome in the past. His throne is apostolic, and the high priest who sits on it, while professing the true faith, is called the successor of Peter. There is no one who thinks and speaks well who can deny it. And he continues: “With the popes Peter, Lino, Clemente, Esteban, Hipólito, Silvestre, Innocento, León, Agapet, Martín, Agatón, and other similar popes and patriarchs, we are in communion in Christ, and we do not have to separate from them. . This is clear, since we celebrate the memory of him, calling them teachers and fathers … If another comes who resembles these in the symbol of faith, in his life, in the morality of Orthodoxy, he will be our father common. We will sustain him as Peter, and the chains of union will continue long and forever.” And he ends by saying that, unfortunately, the current pope (referring to Martin V) does not profess the faith of Peter, since he adds the Filioque to the Symbol, and that is why he has lost the primacy.
It is not a matter of discussing here the complex question of the Filioque. It is about analyzing the perspective posed by Simeon and a part of the tradition: the primacy, that is, the succession of the apostle Peter is based on the faith of the apostle Peter. It is not enough to be a bishop of Rome to be a pope. In addition to that, one must profess the apostolic faith.
The question is, of course, who puts the bell on the cat.
You can read the book in English here. (François Dvornik)
Job was a man of enormous faith and yet here was a man of faith who needed to be examined, tested and purified. Why? Is it because character plays just as an important role if not a more important role with God as faith does? Satan is called the accuser of the brethren, why? Because as far as it is concerned we deserve nothing from God. This is why we find Christ saying to St. Peter, “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you like wheat but i have prayed for you Simon, that your faith not fail and when you turn back strengthen your brothers.”
For all of St. Peters faith I’d have to argue he failed miserably to the extant that even our Lord had grave reservations when he provoked St. Peter whether he actually loved him? 3 times? After that we find what much later his hypocrisy by separating himself from Gentile believers who he thought couldn’t have anything to do with the blessings of Israel which St. Paul didn’t take to kindly to.
In the end however, St. Peter did come to understand the grave importance of a book like Job and the necessity of being tested and purified. It is why he wrote:
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 1 Peter 1:7
which is what Job said as well:
But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. Job 23:10
Wow, it is said of the Israelite that God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of them.
Looks like what was applicable to them is applicable to us in the Christian Church as well.
Isn’t it why we don’t see the truth of this….
“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. Philip.2:14-16
Should have added so we are full of faults when in fact we shouldn’t be, yes? Add to that when it comes to prayer I heard something many years ago which is very true and that is when we pray for something and we do get an answer to those prayers the problem is not with God but with us. I’d imagine to that also goes to faith, for if people actually believed that God exists and that He is the great rewarder of those that diligently seek after Him they would persevere in faith and prayer until an answer came. Isn’t that the secret to faith and prayer tenacity!? The early Christians never gave up!
So hopefully to your great success in the coming New Year we all will persevere for a great fight is coming!
I am reliably informed that the Pentecostal Churches are growing fast, even in S America. Many of them seem to have adherents who prefer the type of God who lets you do exactly what you wish, just so long as you clap and sing on Sunday.
The Cabinet of the just replaced ‘right wing’ of our Australian duopoly had about half a dozen of them in it.
Loudest ‘clapper’ of the lot was the PM, Morrison, who has very serious clouds over his whole adult life, let alone his ability to become very rich while in office.
There was a station owner in my area of Australia who old timers told me wrote some notes for jackaroos, (sort of apprentice managers and senior hands on sheep stations).
He was reputed to have stated, “Should your neighbour be a religious man, then keep your boundary fence well strained.”
So I guess that type of person precedes Pentecostalism.
That’s how you say in Iberoamerica. The Theology of Liberation (infectious product of the Jesuits) of Marxist roots, has frightened the Catholic humble classes towards the evangelical sects because they do speak of God, not of Marx, and Pentacolism has penetrated the Catholic Church in a new way. movement: charismatics who are currently the largest Catholic minority within the Church (>2,000,000) Summing up in Latin America, Protestants can go from almost 90% in Guatemala to 40% in Brazil.
One could equally invert cause and effect: that Liberation Theology is an organic response to the rise of Protestantism. A rise which traditional Catholicism is mostly ineffectual against.
Well, I am not of any religious faith, but I am anti neocon neoliberal to the extreme! Do not make the mistake of alienating me!!
Well said !
This is a wonderful reality to consider. The Romans persecuted the early Christians by feeding them to lions in the Colosseum. Chairman Mao persecuted believers in communist China. In both instances faith increased and the faith flourished. If indeed these Ukrainian exiles who have lost all can spread faith to a secular Europe then it is truly an act of God.
Jesus Christ preached the Kingdom of God. In every generation since his ascent there has been a remnant who accepts the terms of the new covenant. When the last day of this creation happens there will be a raising of the dead, rapture of the church, and the judgement of all John 6: 39,40,44,54. Those that had faith in Christ will live forever in a recreated earth. This current creation will be burned away, probably by a nuclear holocaust.
Rodolfo perpetuates the myth that communism was not compatible with religion. First and foremost, communism is religion. If one examines Marx’s ultimate communist society after the ”withering away of the State,” it is very close to St Augustine’s City of God. The doctrine of self-improvement and power to the people is also a religious practice.
In Russia, the Church was a major landowner and exploiter of the peasantry. It was not the Bolsheviks who condemned the Church and monasteries with their priests and monks, it was a very pissed off peasantry.
Marx’s religion as the “opiate of the people” reflected the connivance of landlords and bishops to maintain the oppressive social order as the peasants and workers could endure their suffering because of a presumed reward in Heaven.
“Chairman Mao persecuted believers in communist China”, well that seems very subjective, ie, what kind of ‘persecution’, what kind of ‘believers’. By research, one would likely find that the believers were counter-revolutionaries, that is, agents of the landlord owning class wanting to restore their power and privilege and the persecution were no different from any other traitor to the working class. Communists don’t mess around!
Finally, often the Falun Gong are displayed as suffering the intolerance of Chinese communism. These people are a heretical cult of anti-communists who present a danger to both state and people. No rational society would tolerate them.
Thank you, Tedder, for bringing some sanity to this sensitive topic, both important and complex. Instead of reproducing second or third hand opinions on the subject, it would be intelectually honest to quote properly the original authors. Not all religions are Christians and for the sake of unity to fight the imperialism, the less time one spend with secondary issues the better.

The main reason for this development is the church tax that exists in Germany. People have less in the purse with the recent price increases in the most important things like food and rent and energy costs.
The church tax is deducted from the salary. From the wage tax they amount to 9%. Single people, for example, pay about 47 euros church tax per month on a gross salary of 4000 euros.
The net salary after all deductions such as income tax and social security contributions (health insurance, nursing care insurance, unemployment insurance, pension insurance) is about 2,542 euros. Often, the additional costs for the apartment now exceed the rent. Only around half of the population hold a own property.
In large cities such as Munich, rents cost 1,200 euros upwards for medium-sized apartments. Of course, salaries are higher than the average. The average in the country according to statistics is 2,623 euros, another source 3,000 euros and the Federal Statistical Office wants to value the average salary at 3,975 euros. My opinion is, also from experiences with normal earners, that this sum is rather 2,623 euros. Data in each case as of 2020.
One source says (see link below).
“…The average salary in Germany is around 3,000 euros. Women earn on average 20% less than men. Self-employed, low-income earners and part-time workers are not included in statistics.
When negotiating salaries, it is important to consider the average salary in the respective industry. The average salary is lowest in the catering industry….”
Resignation from a church, religious community or ideological community must be declared in person at the registry office or submitted there in writing in publicly certified form.
Only Christians (Catholics or people of Protestant faith) pay church tax. Muslims or other faiths do not, although the sentence above you could certainly add the other faiths.
So per se, most Germans pay church taxes. It is therefore no wonder that you can do anything with this clientele.
Conclusion: It is already about increased costs and a reasonable life. Leaving is usually a plan, but one pulls it through now especially.
The west is the author of its own destruction. God has been rejected by the vast majority of the people here. The persecution of the remnants of Christianity is building, and there are many antichrists among us. The vermin who murdered millions in Russia are now in complete control in the west. Up is down, good is evil, black is white. Woe to our leaders, and their zombie minions. God is using Christian Russia to punish his disobedient children. Godspeed to Russia in its righteous quest. Amen.
Take a look at a pre 1871 Bible which would be published before the Book of Enoch was deleted – it fills out Genesis in more detail. This is just one bit of evidence that Western elites have been undermining Western Christianity for hundreds of years – since the Renaissance and Borgia Popes I suspect if in fact the whole thing wasnt set up by Roman Emperor Constantine as a business monetizing the judgement of sins and passing judgement so they claim on behalf of God. .The older the bible the more books it contained before we stuck with the current 66 from 1871.Folks I know who are lapsed Christians have generally been turned away from collective worship by the perceived moral characters of individual churchmen running their local parishes. Pan sexual Trojan horses from elite families to rot Christianity from the inside out ? The morally bankrupt Western elite have already been subverted by their own sociopathic inclinations and rampant greed which visibly got out of hand in the Reagan -Thatcher 1980s era where looting of State Assets aka ´´privatisation´´ allowed Western Oligarchs to gain lots of local monoplies formerly public assets like water & electricity supplies. I know nothing of Orthodox Christianity but I suspect it does not have the mistranslations of King James Bible that require cognitive dissonance as the essential component of true belief.
As I understand it those leaving Ukraine for the West are refered to as hohols.
If anything, they will bring Orthodoxy in ill repute. The true Orthodox are more likely to have gone east.
